We are not afficionados of Indian cuisine but thought the food was excellent. We made the mistake of ordering too much, but also learnt what dishes suited us best. The reason for the low rating is simply that the restaurant itsel was the most depressing place we have been to for 40 years! It felt more like a recently vacated 1970's office room than a cosy, warm, stylish and inviting Indian Restaurant. A long narrow room with continuous long leather look bench seating down one side (individual tables on the other), high plain ceiling, bland tired emulsion painted walls, no fabrics, ornamentation just two random paintings, no windows, and cold. Perversely, nearer the Reception area/bar was a far more inviting dining annexe but none of the diners were invited to sit there. A final point, no draught lager was available, only bottled. Have bars and Restaurants begun to make economies by quietly phasing out draught beers and lagers, offering bottled instead? This was our second such experience in a week.

41 Old Woking Road, EnglandI went to Korea for a few times for business purposes so I have good knowledge what the food should taste like. The good point, to begin with, is generally the dishes were cooked to a good standard. The bad point, however, is that the portion size is really poor especially on rice/noodle which isn't enough for 1 person to be filled. Looking at the final bill, I think maybe I should go to central London?

36 Radford Street, EnglandGot a takeaway. For £16 we had curry, rice, naan and a side. The 25% off collection deal is great value. The food was hot and fresh, and I particularly liked the Bombay aloo. The peshwari naan was really good too and there was plenty of chicken in the curry.

6 Wrawby Street, EnglandWe were very disappointed with our tasteless, extremely watery, over cooked chicken takeaway. We ordered two different mains, and both looked exactly the same and were bland. To add insult to injury, it was the most expensive Indian takeaway we have ever had. If you are a lover of amazing Indian cuisine, avoid this place!!

2 Boundary Road, EnglandFirstly the 2 star EHO sticker in the window is somewhat concerning, however the fact on the EHO website it is marked with a 1 star is confusing! The food is consistently inconsistent. Some visits is OK others not. Generally the restaurant and toilets need some attention to detail regarding cleanliness and the staff although polite, struggle to communicate effectively. Its a shame really as Newtown struggles for decent restaurants. I would need to see at least 3 stars for me to visit again.

Media taza de té de arroz. Falta de sabor. Extremadamente caro y decepcionante. Básicamente una sopa. Los entrantes eran variables, las alitas de pollo eran muy agradables al menos, y la cerveza embotellada estaba fría. A pesar del servicio amable, debe haber un mejor restaurante tailandés para la comida en Brighton.

8-9 The Green, EnglandLa primera vez que he estado aquí, pero todo lo que puedo decir es que esta fue probablemente una de las mejores comidas que he tenido. Del mismo modo, la esposa y los amigos con los que estábamos no podía complementar la comida lo suficiente. El servicio fue excelente también. Muchas gracias por una gran velada.
