Food poor. Biryani had a peppercorn or spice in every mouth full and way to much mint. Curry sauce tasted like something out of a tin from Tesco!. Staff didn’t take kindly too feedback.

I used to live in Ealing for many years and sadly only found out about this restaurant after leaving.However I now come back whenever in the area. The restaurant is super convenient being just round the corner from Ealing Broadway underground. The food is tasty and has a good vegetarian/ vegan selection..Unusually for London the service is friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend for a tasty curry. It’s always busy so obviously popular.

I used to come here all the time and my friends and I still talk about it. We were there recently and TBH, I was very disappointed. The food was okay, actually quite good if I am being fair - hence 3 stars, otherwise it would have been ONE! However, the place is so DIRTY and the toilets are disgusting - I wanted to leave after visiting the facilities and held off going back - absolutely horrific for a restaurant! Unfortunately, we were also over-charged for our drinks (we had a few) but I did not argue (no point) One of our party also knocked over a drink and they kindly replaced it instantly, but it was on the bill x 2. Sadly, I will not be back, as the overall experience as not great, but as I say the food is good!

I am old enough to remember when the food was good here. Sorry Mahanta but the standard has steadily dropped to very average quality. I had 3 dishes in a take-away order and all were not very good.

Over lock-down we have been very well looked after by Sanjeev and the crew at Montys in The Mall. Perhaps boringly we always order the same vegetarian dishes (Brinjal bhajee, Sag paneer, Tarka dal and Mushroom Pilao rice. We used to have papadams but have stopped that as we then can't finish the lovely main dishes if we start off with Papadams! Monty's have been delivering us our delicious weekly curry and it always arrives with a smile. We hope to pop in for a meal at the restaurant soon and be able to thank Sanjeev, his cooks and delivery drivers for looking after us so well this past year.

I love Monty’s. This is the go to place in Ealing for a great curry and excellent service. Although I have moved away from Ealing, I always try to route my trips back to London via Ealing so I can dine at Monty’s. Today I had lunch with a good friend. I was not sure how the lockdown had affected the restaurant but I was not disappointed. The starter of prawn puri was delicious followed by an equally superb begun behar. The fact that Monty’s has survived in these difficult times is testament to the quality of the food and service. Well worth a visit.

Had lunch here on 25th August and our positive opinion of this restaurant was reconfirmed. Excellent service and very fresh food. We were particularly impressed by the Kathmandu chicken.

Hadn’t been for a year but had enjoyed the food my last visit. This time was a disappointment. Prices had risen and the portions looked smaller. We were given a wobbly table that the waiter fixed by placing a mat under one on the legs. The place is looking so tired and dated and the food was nothing special, seemed like what you would make at home. Still it became busy after 8 so this place still has appeal and regulars but I’ll be trying somewhere else.
