Amazing chicken momo !! They were accompanied with multiple sauces. Generous portions with good taste.

Had a lovely dinner here - was so full by the end of it! The chicken and lamb Momos were so flavourful and delicious! Really loved the Kathmandu lamb curry - it was very well balanced, rich in flavour but not too spiced. The lamb was tender and juicy! The staff were friendly and service was super efficient!

Used Monty's for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was first class as was the food. Really good portions and the atmosphere was very unexpected and enjoyable. In the words of Arnie Schwartzenneger I'll be back!

Staying local in the area and fancied an Indian. So glad I chose this restaurant for both service, good delivery and super tasty food. Really pleased I had to call them to say how nice it was.

Poor quality food, watery and mushy, like it was defrosted from frozen and microwaved. Really poor quality and most certainly not cooked freshly.

Had a takeaway delivered and was OK Chicken Chill Masala sauce was very spicy but tasty - unfortunately the chicken breast had clearly been cooked separately and the sauce just poured over it resulting in the meat being rather dry and tasteless. Other sundries, rice, dhal, naan, okra all fine but really needed re-heating as it just came in a paper bag and was lukewarm. Bit disappointing really.

I've tried many Nepalese restaurants, but Monty's is definitely one of the best in London. The quality is always consistent, and the owner and staff are incredibly sweet and hospitable.

Lovely selection of curries and pastries. We enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and prawn bhuna. It is on the spicy side so be careful if you’re not able to handle spiciness.

By chance drop-in, but really happy with the delicious meal, the friendly relaxed staff, speedy service and price. Great value for money and some of the tastiest Nepalese food I've ever tried. Definitely the place to go if ever you're in Ealing.

Food was ok. Although most dishes were too oily. Not how authentic fresh food should be. I had higher expectations after reading the reviews. I don't think I will go back.

It was a very pleasant discovery, very good food, very friendly service and a beautiful environment, in fact we stayed for two consecutive evenings. The momos and Kathmandu lamb are exceptional. Also worth trying are the thin bread with dips and the garlic naan bread. Absolutely recommended.

Amazing food. We all agreed it’s the best curry we’ve have in a long time, and the service was wonderful. Extremely welcoming environment.

The food was great, but unfortunately the service was really slow. It was over an hour after we arrived before our food came. All very cheerful, but they were clearly understaffed and - as is too often the case - there was lots of focus on takeaway orders. The curries were great when they came - the lamb chilli massala was lovely and fiery, and my son's butter chicken was really tasty. Not sure we'll be back, though. Maybe I'll get a takeaway...?

The worst place ever! The food came after 45 minutes and it did not match the hype at all. The staff kept making excuses and the worst part was that they scammed us! We order a starter and they instead “assumed” we wanted it as a main and charged us double the price.

Boiled chicken in a good blend of herbs and Indian spices to hide the fact its boiled chicken. The wine tastes like vinegar. The onion bhaji are very poor.

I felt really welcomed here, staffs were great, the foods were amazing, i found the authentic nepalese taste that i was looking for, overall I strongly recommend this place.

Bishal provided great customer service to us when we paid a wonderful return visit to Monty’s, even providing a complimentary treat afterwards. This was the place of my first ever curry back in 1985, it was just like nothing had changed in all those years! The food was great, atmosphere wonderful and still managed to get our favourite window table. Fully recommend a meal here!

Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the pilao rice and bambai aalu. They use the freshest ingredients and each dish is done the right way...love it.

Hit and miss out of the 2 vege dishes I had.

We used to be regulars here before moving away from Ealing. Went back after a gap of almost 10 years and were immediately reminded of what we were missing out. They have maintained the same high standards of service and taste. Their momos are absolutely fantastic and big shout out to the friendly crew working there. Would highly recommend!

Went in with high hopes...daal had a hair in it. Guy took my plate with my naan and my chicken still on it... Did make me naan and chicken foc though

pretty disappointing Indian takeout, naan breads were not fresh and had to put them in the air frier to bring back some life, curries were okay also not feeling super fresh, worth a try but unlikely to go back.

Today we had a selection of dishes which were all very tasty. The chichen tikka masala was exceptional. The staff are very caring and make sure you have everything you need. We will certainly be returning here in the very near future. Sanjiv was the star of the show🙂. Limoncello is a must afer your meal! Cheers 🥂!

Came back after 30 years (unfortunately the branch in South Ealing is closed, but same quality here) and stil one of the best Indian restaurants in London, a true gem. Very friendly people. Ask for recommendations on the menu!! There’s treasure to be found.

I was at Monty’s Ealing broadway this evening I had a great experience. I’m a vegetarian I asked Sanjeev who seems like the manager and I specifically sad to him that I’m a vegetarian and plz can you make sure there is no cross contamination between the meat and the vegetarian food. I was completely taken aback when he said we have an open kitchen and you can stand there and watch them cook your order. I did ! People Monty’s are proper professional .I was really impressed with the way chefs prepared the order they also asked me wether I wanted hot ,Mild or medium . I asked for medium hot when I eventually seated at my table for one I was pampered like a maharaja (I think they were working for a tip 😉) and to finish it off they gave a chocolate named after curry mint. I highly recommend everyone to have the experience of dinning at Monty’s Ealing Broadway .

I was hesitant to dine in by myself. But the staff was so welcoming, I took a seat. The staff gave me suggestions on what would be best to eat and I was very pleased. I was thinking about an experience of dining in afternoon and how nice would it be to experience it again in this country. Well to my greatest surprise, it became a reality. This was the best meal I've had in years. If you could keep little dark chocolate treats in your fridge that would be a great addition too. Thank you so much for a great experience and very warm, kind, welcoming service. Would definitely come again :) The food was delicious, I rolled my eyes multiple times while eating, because of how good the food was.

Great food with real taste and flavour. Greeted like they really wanted us to be there. Last ones to leave and there was no pressure for us to go- in fact they were keen for us to stay as long as we wanted!

After reading so much good reviews, visited this place for dinner. Even though it was weekday eve, it was very crowded and only 2 people were trying to manage all services very hard without much luck. Taste wise food was ok ok. But clearly saw some hygiene issues which are not good from customer point of view.

I been to Monty’s to eat Sunday buffet which was one of a kind.Never had something so refreshing!I will tell my friends to visit too it’s worth it all and it’s only 14 pounds!

Take away- Food reached me sooner than the guide so was quick, food though was all cold 4 dishes 2 rice and 2 chicken dishes and starter the food was soaked in oil and containers of the mains were only half full, For the price i expected more or at least a lot better, Bin has had the food as cant tell how fresh it is since already cold

We went as a couple for a meal last night and we were very warmly welcomed. The waiter took time to explain the menus to us, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely return - thank you Monty’s!

Went for a family takeaway in high priced local restaurant. Poor quality food with no flavour; tasted like reheated frozen meals. Lovely restaurant with lots of tech facilities for on-line orders - staff very friendly but food really dreadful. Best to avoid! Very sad to see how the local Montys brand has fallen.

Worst food every delivered. Chicken tikka masala was oily, tasted of pure paprika, no cream. Nan undercooked, inedible as dough. Onion bhajee starter was pure oil Sauce with biryani was a waste of a plastic pot as 1mm of tasteless water.

Good curry sauce should be velvety-smooth and thick enough to cling to the chunks of meat that are bathed in it. Monty’s Tandoori hasn’t accomplished this yet because the chicken madras I ordered from them was far too oily. The sauce resembled an orange oil spill on my plate and it slid off the meat, not coating it well enough. The dish also wasn’t as spicy as a madras should be. The pilau rice was similarly disappointing, reminding me of something you would get from a packet in a budget supermarket – not what you expect from a curry house. My side of Bombay aloo was better – the potatoes were cooked long enough to make them very soft and the flavours of the various spices were apparent. The poppadoms were good too: large, crispy and able to support a big dollop of mango chutney and salad before I crunched into them. Usually I‘d use my naan to mop up the leftover sauce but the oleaginous pool that remained in the container went straight in the bin. I wanted to use a 25% discount voucher Uber Eats had sent me but when I got to the check-out it was revealed Monty’s weren’t participating, so I had to pay full price. Despite this, a meal for two came to only £34 so the prices are reasonable. However, the quality of the food wasn’t good enough to make me want to eat here again.

Went here yesterday they got our order wrong twice and it took over 50minutes for our starters to come out. I would not recommend going here. The paneer was really sour and the curries were far too sweet.

Went for a meal with friends and I am vegan, and they were very accommodating and were willing to change a few of dishes for me. Would 100% say that this is the best Montys in Ealing. The veggie curries were delicious!!!

Have you seen the hygiene rating? I don’t know how restaurants get away with being able to serve food when there is something seriously wrong to have a rating of ONE?

I’d suggested Monty’s on Northfields Avenue to a very seasoned group of curry eaters and so had my fingers crossed that they’d like it. I decided to write this because I was so pleased at how it went: the food, the service and the bill! I’d pre booked a Friday night table for six at 8:30pm which was all ready when we arrived. ‘Nice welcome from (I think) the Manager, followed by the swift arrival of poppadum’s and first drinks after we’d sat down. Then we did what we always do: everyone chose one main course then we ordered rice, nan and vegetables to share. Our waitress was very friendly and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere about the place. When the food arrived it was worth a little wait – everything was obviously freshly cooked and the servings were piping hot and generous. Further drinks orders arrived quickly and we were asked if everything was OK. It certainly was. Very OK. Excellent actually. Sure enough our eyes turned out to be a bit bigger than our stomachs and we weren’t able to finish everything. As the plates were cleared our waitress offered to have the leftovers wrapped, which later arrived all neatly packed in a bag. Then, bless them, we are offered a complimentary drink on the house (‘must have been very well behaved). Everyone chose something different and it topped off a really nice evening. When the bill arrived and I’d added a good tip it shook out at £30 per head! Which we thought was very competitive. Conclusion Monty’s has that sort of easy charm that the best restaurants have – they know they are good at what they do and there’s a quiet confidence that comes with it. The staff are genuine and clearly wanted us to enjoy our meal which we really did. Well done Monty’s, see you again soon!

Have used Montys for years. Recently had a takeaway which was very disappointing. Tasteless food and uncooked nan. Contacted restaurant to complain and was told the problem was my mouth! How not to handle a customer complaint. Many better local options.

We received a warm welcome and were able to enjoy a G&T while waiting for the food to be prepared. We had chosen a mix of meat and vegetarian dishes and raced home with our bounty in two bags. The food was very good and was devoured quickly. Will definitely go back.

We've been going to Monty's for years and have never been disappointed. We love everything from the naan to the curries, the poppadums to the daals. Everything is very tasty and we are always welcomed by the manager. We love eating out of having a take away, monty's always mean great food to us, kids included!

He estado yendo a Monty's en Avenida northfield dos o tres veces al año por 20 años y hasta la última noche extraño me han descrito como el mejor tandoori alrededor de Ealing (no incluyendo Southall) pero es cambiado. Parece ser un cambio de dueños, sin duda el personal era desconocido. El servicio era lento comparado con antes, y donde la comida ha sido excelente fue normal. Mi típico pollo madras era delgada, y aguada. El mayor cambio a Monty's era que ha perdido parte de su antiguo ambiente. Había un tiempo cuando desea hacer cola durante 10 minutos para conseguir una mesa para dos, pero la última noche había varias mesas vacías, así que por supuesto el ambiente era escaso el ajetreo de antiguo. Se piensa dos veces antes de volver.
