We were very disappointed with our tasteless, extremely watery, over cooked chicken takeaway. We ordered two different mains, and both looked exactly the same and were bland. To add insult to injury, it was the most expensive Indian takeaway we have ever had. If you are a lover of amazing Indian cuisine, avoid this place!!

This was always my go to for Indian cuisine, been coming here for years. Shocked at how appalling my takeaway was this weekend! Ordered a mixed kebab starter, asked them to make sure it had fried onions with it, exactly the same as you would get if you were eating in, sad to say when I opened the tray it consisted of small pieces of dried up meat, not an onion in sight!. Ordered bhaji's on the side, I've honestly had better onion bhajis from Morrisons deli counter!! My curry was so bland it went in the bin, alongside the cold, stodgy nann bread. I knew something wasn't right when I couldn't smell curry in the car when I was going home, who has a curry takeaway in a car for 5 miles and you can't smell it?? Very, very poor food, so much to say that it will definitely be the last time I order food from here. Don't like leaving negative reviews but honestly this really deserved one!!

We have used this restaurant / takeaway consistently for the last 15 years (before lockdown) but tonight...the absolute worst meal we have ever had in Asian cuisine. This place used to be the best curry house by far! Tonight we thought we would try again, after not going for a year or so, due to the quality last time. The Tarka Dhal was basically water and onions, I couldn't even find a lentil! The portion didn't even come half way up the foil dish. The naans were thick, doughy and undercooked inside. Both main dishes were very poor quality - again with only half way up the foil dish. The garlic Masala used to be so tasty made with roast garlic and topped with coriander and flaked almonds. It was just a standard sauce and looked exactly the same as my partners "specialty" Rezalla. Absolutely tasteless - to add insult, 2 main, 1 rice, 2 naan, 1 side dish £45!! Rang up to complain and was told to speak to the colleague and was cut off!

Staff where friendly and welcoming, but the food was truly awful. Onion bhajis so well done you could chip your teeth on them, and best of all, all the main courses tasted the same! Chicken jalfrezi, chicken korma, butter chicken and lamb korma - all tasted overpoweringly sweet. Even the Peshwari naan bread was sickly sweet. In total, 12 family members joined us for my wife's birthday and every one of us left disappointed with the overpoweringly sweet tasting food and left most of it uneaten. My wife and I last visited Bengal Spice in 2014 and it was superb, yet tonight we've left so disappointed and won't be back.

Have eaten here many times before but tonight’s experience was awful. Ordered a dish I’ve had many times before and it was dreadful. Inedible lamb and the sauce bore absolutely no resemble to what I’ve had the dozen times before. Left the entire dish minus the one mouthful I’d tried. I explained that it was the same as usual and it wasn’t nice and the lady owner charged us for it an when I queried it she just said…it’s not y fault you didn’t like it in the rudest manner possible. We’ve eaten here for many years but will definitely never be going back. Awful food, awful service, awful woman. Nearly £60 for two mains and two beers as well…I don’t mind paying for good stuff but that was a expensive and poor quality meal

The best indian resturant i have eaten in. The food was brilliant . Portions were very generous . front of house was excellent. The resurant is small .compact and cozy .service was very good . Overall super place to go to

Great food fast service. Plenty of prawns in our prawn dishes. Its our regular now. Sides are always wondeful tasting. Nan bread always hot as are our meals. Nothing to complain about Thanks 👌

Read reviews and wasn’t sure BUT was happily surprised - we were a group of 7 so had lots of different dishes. Popadams and pickle tray, mixed starter were excellent, various different dishes, lamb, chicken, prawn and tandoori mixed grill, rices and naan.. all beautiful and hot. We had leftovers which were boxed up to take away () The only negative thing was the service - staff were excellent but the service was incredibly slow considering we ate early and it wasn’t that busy.. we arrived at 7.30 and didn’t get main course until 9...

Awful meal and even worse service. A place where the customer is always wrong! Cold food, undercooked naan breads (which were not eaten), tomato sauce rather than Indian curry with no spice or tasty, and a shortage of meat for a dish being charged at £14-16 per curry (without any extras). When this was brought to the attention of the lady front of house, she wanted to argue that the food wasn’t cold and the two naan bread were cooked. Shouting at us in front of her other paying customers. However neither naan bread had even a slice out of them, may as well have been raw dough. When you can see your fingerprint in the naan, you know it’s undercooked. She said that’s how they come. However we have eaten there a few times before so this wasn’t the case! No service, or at best slow service from start to end. And nobody came to check how our food was, (now I guess we know why) so my partner went to say something. We visited here after having a nice meal the last time but after the disgusting way the staff spoke to us, the terrible food and total lack of service, means that we will never come back. Never been spoken to like this from someone who is supposed to be employed for customer service, or at least supposed to try and make the customer happy. Being locals, she will lose out on the next 30 years of being our chosen local Indian and would rather go to Mumbai Lounge. Make sure you go somewhere else other than this place! Horrendous food and horrible service. Don’t visit Bengal Spice.

I have to say I was very disappointed with my visit tonight. I think the staff could have been more receptive to our dissatisfaction with the food but apparently that is how it is. Having used the restaurant previously I know this isn't the case. Needless to say this is the last time I will be using this place.

Really disappointed with the portion size. At most it was 8 small pieces of lamb, which was commented on when they dropped it on the table but no comment. The meat was fatty, I accept lamb can be fatty but this wasn’t nice to eat. Part of the food that arrived was like warm. This was commented on to the staff halfway through the meal after we struggled to get their attention. We complained before we paid the bill and were told there was nothing they’d do. Their attitude about it all was really not acceptable and totally didn’t expect this from somewhere I’ve been to, on a number of occasions. But won’t be going back.

We left as unhappy customers and won’t be returning. Cold food that was pretty tasteless. Seemed pretty empty so I guess this is why. Rude front of house, who I assume is the manager. I think they ought to get rid. As for the kids who are the waiters and waitresses, I think they couldn’t look more disinterested. Go somewhere else, avoid avoid avoid!

First visit to a resteraunt since the coronavirus lock down. It was well managed and the layout out of the resteraunt has been well thought out. To be honest it is better now than it was pre-corona, loads of room betwen tables , back to back & the only face to face is who ever you are sat with on your table. Great atmosphere. The food was excellent, staff were really friendly. To be honest we were apprehensive about going but we are so glad we went. If you have never been to this resteraunt you should go its well worth a visit. A big thank you Bengal Spice

Just ordered our first ever home good delivery. It was gorgeous. Arrived 45 mins after order via a very cheerful driver. Lovely and hot just as we ordered. Have been to the Bengal many times in the restaurant but this was a first for us. Loved the meal. Thanks to the staff.

My friends and I booked a early table so we didnt have to wait long when it got busy. When we got there we still had to wait a short while for our table to be set up. We then had to wait a further 10 minutes for a menu and 15 minutes for them to take our drink order, for some reason there was only 1 person serving up to 7PM. For the first hour we was there we only had poppudums. When our starters finally came they were very nice, but when our mains come the rice was Luke warm and so was some of the dishes the food was in. We herd others send back their rice too. The top of some of the curries looked like they had started to grow a skin because they'd probably been under the light to long. The meat in the meals were moist and warm luckerly. They did make a nice naan bread but he had to wait even longer for that. Even though I complained about the wait we wasnt even offered a discount or a drink. They seam to care more about getting take aways out then getting the food out in the restaurant. We saw near to 8 takeaways go past us. We wont return in a hurry!

Me and my family have been coming here for years the food is delicious and staff are all lovely. They never disappoint.

I tried eating here on Saturday 7th March. When the lady at the counter discovered I was on my own, she said I couldn’t have a table till 9.30pm. It was seven. Her kids of various ages were hanging around the counter. Very odd. I’ll never try to eat there again.

We haven't eaten here for some time, although we have been using the restaurant since it first opened. We had an early evening meal, so it was very quiet, just us and one other table, but we found the service good, polite and friendley. There is a very extensive menu, so something for everyone, and I have, in the past, found the staff happy to make a recommendation. We chose a mixed starter each and they were delicious, particularly the onion bhajis which were the best I've ever had. The main courses also were excellent and couldn't be faulted. The only slight criticism we had was that we found the final bill to be slightly higher than we expected. A pity as, if it was slightly more affordable for us, as pensioners, we would visit more often. As there are 2 other Indian restaurants competing in Brigg, perhaps offering a midweek 'budget' menu for early diners would mean a less quiet restaurant in the early evening?

What agreta evening for a spur of the moment visit on Valentines Evening. The food was excellent & a great choice of food. Staff are always helpful & friendly. And what anice gesture all the ladies were given a red rose. Thank you

I loved my curry here with a large group at the end of Jan. However, some of my friends didn’t like the wait or the rudeness of the lady at front of house when asked about it. Hence the 3 stars - I liked it, others not.

I took my partner,for a birthday meal, as we was passing Brigg, ordered a glass of house red wine and a pint of shady,When she tasted how weak it was, I asked the price and the alcohol percentage,I was told £9 , and 7 percent alcohol, for the glass of house wine . I said your joking.then we were order to pay for the drink and leave, what a rude man he was, We ended going to another one round the corner, opposite the car park,it was excellent, and was £4 a glass of red at 13 per cent alcohol, and the food was delicious.

We have been going weekly to Bengal Spice for three years. From walking in the door and being greeted by staff drinks and orders are taken within five minutes. A very extensive menu is provided and the staff are very knowledgeable and give advice on the meals. The food is always freshly cooked, hot and well presented. Very highly recommended.

Very over priced, felt very rushed and our old uncles starter removed from under him whilst still eating. Young member of staff asking if we had finished when it was clear we was still eating. This made our uncle leave his meal. Not impressed with the service price or tikka masala at all.

Went here on a friday and it was really busy got seated and served a drink, the lager was ice cold. Bit of a wait for food but it was busy and we nibbled at some poppadoms and pickle tray while we waited. When the food arrived it was really tasty, we had chicken acchari and lamb bhuna with keema rice and paswari naan

Last night we took a takeaway from Bengal Spice and all four of us loved our meals, we had starters and mains with popadoms and pickle trays, the bill came to between 60 and 70 pounds. We all aye well and would eat from there again without hesitation. My only recommendation to the owners would be to publish their menu online so we can order a take away without a prior visit to the restaurant.

What has happened to this restaurant ? We have visited numerous times over the years and have always been so pleased with the restaurant overall, but on our last visit the service was poor - the staff looked they couldn't be bothered. We had to keep asking for drinks as they was too busy talking. In the past the service was such a great standard was the reason we kept coming back but I am afraid we won't be returning. The food was OK though, but the rudeness of the staff was not.

Visited last night me and the missus, missus had lamb which was tough to chew, told the waiter and he started a full on argument with me saying that was our opinion! I've worked in home cooked Indian restaurants in Sheffield and cook authentic curry for family and friends regularly but this waiter thought I was just a casual Indian eater, never ever have I had an argument in a restaurant with anyone I just expected him to take it away apologise and tell us to come back again and they'd make sure it would be better next time but no not even a sorry totally the opposite he was shouting at both me and the missus as though we was wrong for making a complaint! I tried to explain the flavours were ok just the lamb was tough that is all. I hate to write a negative review on any business but I certainly have no choice on this occasion. Also the 2 Asian ladies working there did and said nothing and allowed this to happen I would rather starve than step foot anywhere near this place again! Good luck if you go here and make a complaint I'm still in shock writing this the day after!!!

We visited here for a meal based on a recommendation, the interior is nice, and a traditional Indian restaurant style. The menu is very varied and I could have easily picked half a dozen main dishes. We decided to go with popadoms and a main, and give starters a miss on this occasion.

We have a long-standing Valentines tradition to go for an Indian meal at the Bengal Spice. The food and service was as excellent as ever this time and the bright new decor was great. Lots of vegetarian options. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking in the public car park to the rear. A complimentary fresh red rose completed a great Valentines meal.

The whole experience was very disappointing. Service poor and slow. The starters lacked flavour and presentation. The main dishes, Baltic had a distinct citrus taste and the madras way to hot. We would not go back.

Visited one night and got to say the food was fairly bland and tasteless and the prawns was a funny texture but the garlic Nan was nice but we did not really enjoy the meal. It all seemed a bit old fashioned.

Went with some friends, ordered a prawn puri starter. Prawns very dry and tasted awful. Really disappointing first course.

We visited this restaurant last night with a party of 10, as we have done for many years at Christmas, we ordered as usual and the food came as expected all except for 1 starter. The person who’s food had not come remarked to the waiter his food was missing and was abruptly met with a very rude and sarcastic comment, the problem was rectified and the food was very nice but the waiter clouded the whole atmosphere and ruined the evening, no one stayed on after the meal as we have done in years gone by, and next year we will use one of the other restaurants in Brigg.

After sampling a few of the local licenced establishments I was persuaded to try the food in the Bengal spice ( I won't need persuading next time). The food is excellent. The staff were very accommodating and were knowledgeable about all the ingredients in the meals.

Found this place by accident and read some reviews. They live up to them, the food was lovely and the staff good. It's a busy little place.

We have been eating here for nearly 20 years and haven't done that many reviews on TA, and should have reviewed this place years ago - We have always had good service here and the menu has great choices - They will vary things to suit your palette, so if you don't want it too hot it won't be.

We love going here and go as often as we can! The food is really good quality and is a proper curry which we have hardly any of locally! It's also a nice restaurant to eat in at with good atmosphere and good service. Never had a bad curry from here which is always a good sign! Easily recommend.

Newly refurbished, intimate restaurant, really well looked after by knowledgeable staff, most importantly the food is tremendous , a good choice of speciality dishes superbly cooked and well presented.

Todo el personal es amable y servicial, la comida es lo que realmente vende este lugar para mí, cada vez que he ido a la comida ha sido excelente. Allí ha sido la extraña ocasión donde hemos tenido que esperar un poco de ordenar a él saliendo, pero nunca ha sido prisa y se nota todo y recién preparados a pedido. La única cosa que diría let's este lugar es el pequeño que necesita aseos mejoras. Dicho esto, en mi última visita había letreros para decir que estará cerrada mientras se lleva a cabo una renovación, así que espero que sea problema abordado. Espero volver pronto.

This Indian for me is the tastiest one in Brigg, we always use this one for a take away but sadly we are not very keen on sitting inside. For us the restaurant feels cramped and it needs bringing up a few levels in the decorating department. Staff always helpful.

Tried this place walk past often enough but never been in. Anyway good service polite, food was reasonable but pricey.Shame really it could do well if it modernises. I know it's all about food flavour but I feel Internally could do with a good clean brought out of the 80s little lighting etc but that's me. Try for yourself Surma in Barton completely modernised busy most nights people shop with eyes first...... Just saying

We were walking through Brigg & came across this small resteraunt. Stopped & had a meal. An old fashioned Inian resteraunt. The food was excellent. Good portion sizes, good quality food, tasty food & even better was the price.An excellent meal had, it beats Le Raj & the Raj in Barton. Will definately come back. Well done

First came here when I lived in Bring on my own, still a firm favourite - my wife & I still drive out from Scunthorpe for a curry. Staff always friendly, happy to give advice on new or different dishes to try. All in all really good food at a very sensible price.

Restaurant is excellent. The food was delicious. There was a very nice atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and even boxed up the remainder of our meals because one portion of curry and one portion of rice could feed two people! So I definitely recomend sharing a main and maybe having a starter :) all of us had some of our meal left over (party of 9).The restaurant staff were great. They each said happy birthday to me and at the end of the meal they bought me over a B52 shot! Which was awesome! I'll definitely be come back!

Bengal Spice have long been my favorite Indian Restaurant in Brigg. The Chicken or Lamb Madras dishes are strongly recommended, however, the variety of starters, and their presentation are the truly impressive item.In short, a reliable and enjoyable Indian restaurant with decent and polite staff.

I placed an order here as I have done many times before. It was my nearest and preferred Indian restaurant. My order was taken then six minutes later, I received a call to say that they could not do the order because the chef had gone home. Did they not know this at the time (it is not a huge restaurant). Was the chef ill? It was not stated. Summation - it was 9.30 pm and it was quiet in the restaurant so they closed early. I will not be using the restaurant to visit (which I have done 4 times in the past) or for take aways.

Had a chilli dish. It said on the menu they where bottled chilli but it really tasted like it and didn't add to the flavour. I got what was advertised but fresh chilli would have worked a lot better in the dish

Originally from Bradford, I find it so hard to find a curry over this way out which can compete... Well, Bengal Spice can! The food is delicious and if you want it spicy/hot, it will come it! Which is even better.The curry is so flavoursome and it's good value in my eyes.Only downside as I said last time... Still no Lassi on offer.

As always an outstanding curry. I travel 25 miles to eat here as I know the food will be exactly what I expect it to be. It's always fresh and well presented. If you fancy something a little different ask the chef for advice, he'll cook you up a treat.Love this place

A nice curry. Not the best I've ever had but certainly not the worst. A quiet Monday but the waiter was friendly and the curry hot and tasty.

Visited here on a Monday when our usual Le Raj Was Closed. Pricing Was Ok as expected, Service was Also fine. Some Of the decor Inside & Outside needed a little Work. The Food was Ok, But We found the Pickle Dish Offerings a Little Bland & With Little variety, Also Our starters which tasted Ok, where Luke warm at best. Main Course Ok. We've Tried This,But Sorry will generally stick with Le Raj In the Future.

Visited with a large group of co-workers, the food was very nice and portions were generous. Limited range of drinks available, and the service was, at times, all over the place. Staff were friendly but on more than one occasion would forget about drink orders we had places. Only one toilet too which caused a bit of queue once the restaurant filled up a bit. Besides that, very nice.

We are never disappointed when we visit this restaurant - the food is delicious and the service is always very good. We highly recommend this lovely place :-)

We last visited the Bengal Spice for my partner's birthday a few weeks ago. This lovely restaurant never fails to disappoint. The staff are very friendly and attentive but best of all the food is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Never go anywhere else if we fancy an Indian, lots of choice, really high-quality dishes, never been disappointed by anything from here.

Fantastic food, very knowledgable staff who are able to suggest items on the menu that you might like. You can have my curry as hot or mild as you like, nothing is too much trouble.

We went here last Saturday and it was extremely busy with a number of large parties in. We had just been able to be squeezed in as a late reservation that day. I was disappointed with the initial service as we were waiting for 5 minutes before being offered drinks and the menu. I was very disappointed they did not have Mango Lassi as this is the first curry house I've visited that does not serve it. We waited a further 15 minutes before being seated. We then ordered. Our pickle tray and poppadoms took about 10 mins to come. Then our starters came about 30 mins after that. Then ofter we'd eaten our starters they moved us as they'd sat us on a 4 and needed it for another booking. They did acknowledge this with free drinks which we appreciated. Our mains then came after a further 45 mins of waiting. I was extremely disappointed with the slow service but the food made up for this as it's very tasty. I have rated a 4 on the basis of my husband's previous visits when not as busy as service not usually this poor and I did not want to do a disservice. If we go again and receive this level of service, I will, however, say something.

Whenever we go out in Brigg we always end up eating here, great menu choice and very tasty dishes. Great service good value, good way to finish of a night out.

Booked the Bengal Spice for a night out with 15 friends. We might as well have gone to Burger King and had a better night. Sat down at 7.30 with all of us spread over 3 tables instead of all together, took our orders at gone 8pm, starters came out at 8.50pm, 50 minutes after ordering, starters were all very bland and small, I had the mixed kebab which was one piece of dried chicken, a piece of lamb (I think) and a smart price beef burger covered in lettuce £4.50 (what a joke), we then waited.....and waited....and waited, 3 tables that came in after us had sat down, eaten and gone. Main courses came out at 10 o clock, we had items missing, someone ordered extra chips and received them after he had finished, naan breads were wrong and the food was bland, very bland. The waiter had a serious body odour problem and really smelt. There was a bill problem at the end and I`m sure the Spanish inquisition wasn`t as harsh as the owners. I can find nothing positive to say about this experience.

We have frequently visited Bengal Spice and had nothing to complain about! Chose a take away Friday night, Do they have a new chef??? The curries were spicier than usual, I really enjoyed mine but the rest of the family weren't too keen. My only real grumble was the delay in getting the order, we were told half an hour and as we had a 10 min drive we did wait before setting off we still found ourselves sat waiting atleast another twenty mins without explanation! Just wondered if they forgot to send our order to the kitchen.

Always good food, friendly faces, willing to fit you in if at all possible .have been going there for many years, and always get good service. .

This is a good restaurant serving good food with good service which is what you want really. The prices are also good and not expensive at all. If you order takeaway you can wait in the bar area and participate in a drink while you wait which wont be long. We are fortunate that we can drop in for our evening meal and don't need to book Monday - Thursday.

The food is mediocre and overpriced, the service has a sleazy feel to it. They try to sell bottles of over priced 'King Cobra' , it's over £8 a bottle!!! Don't fall for it..!!!

Both takeaway and restaurant food is always delicious at Bengal Spice. The service is always quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It is my favourite local Indian restaurant, and has been for many years.

A reliable if rather dated Indian restaurant format. Small premises dictates tight seating arrangements in the old style of terraced Indian restaurant premises. Food choice is immense if you have 20/20 vision with the overdone menu in silly little font. Food is OK but not exceptional. Good for a late night curry

the service was very good the food was very nice, although I am not keen on the seating - you are too close to the next table.. the lady I sat next to said it was like being on an aeroplane... lolthat said would I go again , yes. my friends love this place and wont go anywhere else... so it just shows its only my opinion about being crowded when seated.

We are new to the area and this restaurant was recommended. We were made to feel very welcome and seated quickly even though we hadn't booked. The food was marvellous! Best we have tasted in years. We will definitely be going back!!

I have visited this placed numerous times over the few years I have lived in the area. The friendliness of the staff and welcome you get at this place sets the tone! Always great prompt service, fun level of banter coupled with superb food, spice level adjustable!! Perhaps at times I have added too much to my own detriment!!Certainly will be maintaining visiting this great Indian restaurant!

We have regularly used this restaurant over the last couple of years and have found the food to be consistently good with the Pathia being by far one of the best on the area. The service is excellent with the staff being friendly and professional regardless of whether we eat in or take out.

Another consistently good meal at the Bengal Spice.... we selected our favourite starter (chicken chaat) and the chicken (tikka) pasanda along with the chicken ajuan from the chefs special list. Accompanied by garlic nan and special rice, and topped off with a nice white wine. It was fairly quiet during our visit and the service was as friendly as always.

Went to the Bengal Spice for a meal to celebrate my daughter's birthday. They were as always very obliging. The meal was as expected first class however I did mention to the waiter that the Mango Chutney was rather watery and not up to the standard that i had previously experienced.We were also asked to move to the lounge area to finish our coffee and drinks as they were needing to set the table for another sitting, this was not good due to the people waiting for take a way meals and took the shine off the end of the meal especially as the table we had sat at never got sat at whilst we were in the lounge area. Perhaps the manager should take this on board as it was rather uncomfortable sitting near the front door with strangers looking on and listening to our conversation.

Dinner with 2 sisters - started with the best G&T that they had tasted, second one was just as good. Good selection of dishes and staff explained different types of curry well. Usual starters, sheek kebab, onion bhaji and alo pakora, came quickly, after papadoms and choice of side dishes. All hot, well-cooked and presented carefully. After suitable time, and another G&T, main courses arrived: lamb malaya - great taste with coconut and pineapple; chicken masala - excellent, a reasonable sag aloo - hard to get wrong, and a chicken and mustard based curry - interesting and unique taste.Staff were attentive throughout the meal, we look forward to our next trip there, or maybe a takeaway!

Called in on spec and what a find! Thoroughly enjoyed the food, very authentic and dishes as described on the menu. Portions were generous and service was good. We like hot and spicy and our dishes did not disappoint - our main courses were chicken morsie and chilli chicken (can't quite remember full name of dish!). We had a starter each, poppadoms and pickles, a main each, mushroom rice and garlic naan and drinks and it was just over 40 quid so excellent value.

Visited here on a saturday night and couldn't belive how busy it was for a small place, food was very good and god value, very friendly and nice atmosphere!

Ate here at 8pm on Saturday. Very busy. However table ready very quickly and staff attentive. Some of the food we had was tandoori half chicken, Sajon chicken, keema rice, garlic naan bread, popadums and pickles. Very good and reasonably priced. House wine was acceptable but not brilliant. Will definitely use again.

Have relied upon this restaurant for meals and takeaways for years now and it never lets me down! Fantastic food, good service. Most of all I must recommend the Balti they serve here

Visited for a take away but have also envied many a meal here. Thoroughly enjoy the curry made here often opting for the chicken balti, staff have always been helpful and friendly. Service is second to none, fantastic restaurant and take away!

Was recommended this Indian by work colleagues. I always try the same dish the first time I visit a new Indian restaurant in order to gauge the flavour and quality against previous ones. I was certainly happy with both the flavour and quality of the Chicken Pakora, and Chicken Tikka Pathia that I had. The Pakora was moist and flavoursome, whilst the Pathia had a good combination of both heat and sweet and sour flavours, without being too overpowering. I will certainly be eating here again.

We decided to try somewhere new to us so chose a well established Indian restaurant in Brigg that we had heard good things about. What was a great surprise was how busy it was with only one vacant table ON A TUESDAY NIGHT! That said everything good about it but the food was classy and quite reasonably priced which said more. Not normally adventurous I opted for a chicken Piazee dish and will certainly have it again when we next visit. I love crispy onions and had them in abundance.Off on holiday soon but cant wait to return to our new find in Brigg.

This was a spur of the moment meal out for two adults and two children. Don't expect a modern look because you will be disappointed as the restaurant itself is cosy with a pleasant, relaxing more traditional decor which we thoroughly appreciated.The staff were exemplary, courteous and friendly being attentive without being annoying and really added to the overall ambience of the restaurant.The food was fabulous, with a large selection of dishes to choose from and was great value for money. Having two children with us, we booked for 6pm and had appetizer, starter, main and dessert in a well spaced but not rushed manner which took about 1.5 hours.All in all this was a wonderful family meal out, a rare treat and one we will definitely be repeating. I would highly recommended this restaurant.

I've eaten in and had a takeaway innumerable times from Bengal Spice and the food is always top notch. The staff are very friendly and always happy to suggest something new from the menu. Thoroughly recommend!

I have visited this restaurant in the past which has alway been good.My recent visit I had a takeaway meal for me and my family.The staff are very pleasant and the food was very good great garlic Naan and chicken Balti. Happy to recommend and I will return.

Not a massive fan of Indian food but got to say this is one of my favorites, been here a couple of times and if i fancy an Indian meal i will happily come back here!

Just your average curry house I'm afraid. Not a patch on the restaurant it used to be when it was winning awards some years ago. Pickles disappointing. No obviously fresh ingredients in the sauces. Shame!

We have visited on many occasions for celebrations, the staff and the food never let us down. Food always tasty and service is always excellent.

We ate here to celebrate my partners birthday after the place was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. We are not experienced Indian diners and the guy who served us was very helpful assisting us in our choices which suited us both perfectly. Our meals were served quickly and were so tasty. We will definitely being back and before long too. It was quiet when we arrived as we had chosen to eat early but by the time we left it was virtually full.

Lovely friendly staff who are very helpful and will suggest new options to try when you have got stuck in a bit if a rut. Food always delicious and never disappoints. Best naan bread ever. Only reason it is not excellent is that the tables are a bit too close together.

Four of us enjoyed a meal on Valentine's night and even though it was busy the service and food were excellent. It was good value for money with generous portion sizes.
