Food has been consistently good for years. Attended as a party of 11 for a new years eve meal. The menu also caters for guests who want 'english' food. The service seemed a bit slower this year, (we had to request refills for our drinks individually, rather than the waiter asking if anyone else at the table required a top up). Fair value for money, a nice evening destination.

Food was luke warm, but very tasty, delivery driver was friendly and polite, I would order again.

Food arrived early but, when it did it was barely warm, and the lamb on both dishes seemed chewy and over cooked. Very disappointed.

In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in town

Service ok and food came promptly which wasn't a surprise as there were only 2 tables in including ours at the time of ordering. Starter for me was lamb tikka the lamb was lovely. The korma I had was standard but what was disappointing was the chips which were either cooked in very strong oil or oil that had not been changed for some time. Apart from the chips not too bad an evening out. Finally I know it's been over 7 months since I last went out for an Indian but thought £5.98 for 2 poppadoms and the pickle tray was a bit steep!

I asked the delivery man not to knock as he’d wake my baby. He didn’t knock and left my order at my door as I asked. Thank you so much for that, my food was delicious as well.

My first order from here. We selected Jubraj primarily because of the 5 star Council hygiene ratings. The food was excellent and the service superb even for a take out order. Jubraj is now my 'go to' restaurant when I'm looking for something a little spicy. Great job lads, keep it up...

Pre bath halls event. We were the only diners. It was 5ish after all. Attentive service, excellent food. Venison jalfrezi was something else!! Lovely food. Would definitely return again. Highly recommended.

One of the worst Indian meals I’ve ever had, the bill was also significantly incorrect. I can only assume that the manager is fleecing money to go towards his new restaurant that he was constantly advertising. There was also two sets of music playing that was very annoying and ruined the atmosphere.

Me and my partner went to Jubraj today, in all honesty, it was amazing. The food was excellent, lots of choices too! Boss man was the most friendly and down to earth chap ever. Always asked us if we wanted anything else to drink, if we wanted to try some more dips, if we wanted a doggy bag to take our unfinished food. ( we left without taking our food as we had forgotten, they came running after us :)!! ) I’m unsure as to why this place has less than 5*, deserves way more credit. Would 1000% recommend to anyone who loves amazing customer service and even better food!!!! Thankyou for a lovely evening

A MUST if you visit or live in Scunny. Boss man was the most attentive and down to earth chap ever. We had butter chicken, tikka masala, chips, rice and naan aswell as the complimentary poppadums and dips. Everything was hot and fresh. Made to order. The place had such a lovely atmosphere, treated as a friend rather than a customer. Really recommend Jubraj!!! 100% will visit again.

We visited here on Thurs 3rd nov with friends, the food was fab & you couldn't fault the service couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be revisiting here again.

The app showed the driver having the order about 30-40 mins before it was delivered and so it was stone cold who knows how long it was in his car

I love this place. My future husband is originally from Scunthorpe, so I have only been visiting Jubraj for 3 years or so. We have never had a bad meal, the service has always been spot on. My last visit was for my Hen Party. There were 9 of us and the staff took everything in their stride. Mo, who was in charge of the front of house was lovely. He was very patient, took everything that was said by 9 very tipsy women in his stride. He sat down with us and chatted to us while we ate. At one point, another couple came in to eat, they were warned there was a hen oarty in, and they joined in with the evening. This is our go to Indian. We highly recommend you come and try it.

Was really good food very hot and even though we weren't expecting it early has my just eat hadn't updated the food had been eaten when my phone pinged to say it was on its way but that was great for us

It’s about the food . Rice was not as expected, the curry-sauce was nice but 4 pieces of chicken in it, was a let down. I’d rather pay for just the sauce.

The food was great but I ordered orange juice and it was over a month out of date. Opened it to check it was okay but it looked funny so had to pour it away ☹️

Called in after Bond movie, both delighted with meals and service, lamb vindaloo and chicken jalfrezi. Hot with great depth of flavour, thick sauces and very good portions, side dish of spinach also very tasty. Well done, keep up the good work, both left very happy.☺

First time here as we were going to the baths hall to see Milton Jones. Went early at 5pm. Staff very nice food very good. Had the venison korai & naga chicken which were very tasty as were the starters, onion bhajis and jubrafj grill. Crispy bhajis and succulent chicken and lamb. Can’t fault anything and would definitely return if we are back in Scunthorpe. Also loved the complimentary spirit after the meal.

I have no idea why Jubraj is not rated higher on trip advisor as this was the best curry I have had in Scunthorpe. We Had a mixed kebab and chicken pakora for starter and shared chef special balti and mixed korai for main with a mushroom rice and keema naan . The food was very tasty. The service was great and I will Definitely eat here again soon.

Been to a few local Indian restaurants but this has always been my favourite.

First time ordering and most definitely the last... ordered the chicken dansack and honestly it tasted like someone had poured a pint of vinegar in it, the popodoms resembled cardboard ( you could actually bend them) the chips weren’t great and tasted undercooked and the chicken wasn’t great either... partner had the tikka masala and said it was ok , on a positive note ... oh and the garlic Nan was bland and hard ... first time ever I’ve felt the need to leave a bad review !

Food was ok my madras was more sweet than hot wasn’t too keen. When ordering my curry it gave me options to pick from regular or large. For those ordering regular this means a full tub of sauce and 4 bits of meat. Like I said food was ok delivered on time but wouldn’t rave about it.

Ordered 2 currys and disappointed with them both...alot of oil in carton surrounding the food.....poppadoms were soft....previous 2 orders we've had have been fine....so a little bit disappointed

We orderd egg fried rice but since when does egg fried rice contain shrimp and meat i had to go without my rice because I'm allergic to shellfish very poor performance if I had eaten that I could have died

Got a big takeaway from here for a birthday party very polite and warming front of house food was near on perfect and plenty of it no scrimping on the meat no corners cut highly reccomend

The chicken element and all sundries were excellent however the lamb starter and main were inedible and had to be thrown away .

Currys not upto the standard I know these guys can produce and the nan bread was cold and chewy, but good service and delivery....come on guys you can do better

Excellent service excellent food and quality for money would not any other very attentive to your needs and if you have not eaten here before they will give you suggestions on what to eat.

This was a large gathering for a leaving do. From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming and helpful, kind and chatty, helped us with menu options for dietary needs. Food was fantastic tasty and hot, very reasonably priced, and drinks too. We will recommend to others and definitely will be back again. Thank you

I will never use this place again. My order arrived late and the brown food bag inside the carrier split open when I tried taking it out throwing all the food onto the floor. The sauce went everywhere. Rang them and the manager refused to speak to me and the employee said he is not playing messenger and hung up on me. £33 wasted and all they could say was it wasn't there fault as they had handed it over to me. What did they think I did throw it all over and go without I got pictures to show them it all over the place. Very bad customer service.

Food arrived 20 minutes late no reason given or apology. Went to take the food bag out of the carrier and unbeknown to me one of the containers had leaked sauce out and the bag split open causing all the food to go all over the place. The sauce made a terrible mess on sides and clothes. Rang up to be told the manager is out but they rang back when he was there told me it wasn't there problem as they had passed it over the manager refused to speak to me and then the person on the phone just hung up on me. Customer service your having a laugh no cooked tea for us as I don't like eating off the floor. Took photo's to show them what had happened and the mess but they were just not bothered. Wont be using that place again. Disgusting service.

Great food, lovely staff great banter and playful nature whilst however they did get two of our orders wrong, have been before, must have been an off day, can recommend especially Onion bhajis and butter chicken or lamb madras

Interesting menu as there is tandoori trout - I had the lamb - which was very chewy - but tasted wonderful - with a terrific sauce. The fish was amazing - we had great starters - and one of the best naans Ive had

This Indian restaurant is so good my partner and me travel from Hull to Scunthorpe. The Jubraj chef's special (lamb based is SOOOO GOOD!) and in 3 years we have never been disappointed; treat yourself!
