The best restaurants serving Asian food in Yorkshire and The Humber

My 3rd visit to this gem of a place. Cracking service they make you feel welcomed. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know I haven't had a better curry in south Yorkshire to this day. If you're ever in the area please head to this restaurant you won't be disappointed

We visited this restaurant as a family on a Sunday evening. Despite living locally, we hadn't been back since it changed hands—honestly, the name had made us assume it was more of a takeaway! Though the restaurant was quiet, it turned out to be an absolute gem. The staff were superbly attentive, with our waiter showing impressive patience as he walked us through the menu. Speaking of the menu, it's refreshingly concise—no overwhelming choices, just well-curated options. For starters, we enjoyed a selection that included Pani Puri, which was excellent. The only slight letdown was the calamari, which felt a little ordinary. However, the mains were where the restaurant truly shone! We ordered four different dishes, and I had the pleasure of trying them all. Each was distinct, and the staff thoughtfully adjusted the spice levels to suit individual tastes. The rice and breads were just as impressive—I tried Paratha for the first time, and it was an absolute delight! Without a doubt, this was the best Indian meal we’ve had in a long time, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing. Been coming to Jamal’s 20 years and never tried the naga curry as recommended by the son of Jamal Amir. Honestly one the best curries I’ve ever eaten. It is hell of a spicy dish but delightful. Service and customer service exceeds 5 stars.

We had the tasting menu with drinks pairing and had a fantastic evening. The restaurant wasn't super busy but there was still a good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and informative. Particularly shout out to Elijah, Jack and to Morgan who explained the drinks pairing. The food and drinks were all amazing.

We received a warm and friendly welcome, excellent service, place with spotless and full of locals. As we did not know the area we had asked in one of the local shops where would be the best place to eat and this was strongly recommend recommended. The food looked like a piece of art on a plate as it arrived and it certainly did not disappoint it was absolutely delicious. We had both chosen the sourdough toast with smashed avocado crumbled feta cheese, poached egg, heritage, tomatoes, and fresh salmon with edible flowers and swirls of tomato relish. It may have been our first visit but we will certainly go back there although not local it is well worth the visit. Thank you to everyone in the kitchen and front of house who made our visit so unforgettable for all the right reasons. Wishing you all continued success because you deserve it.

What happened to this place? It's quite easily the best takeaway curry in north Bradford. The meals they put out is of the highest quality for a delivery service. Just below the quality of a really decent sit down service, which is high praise indeed given the fact the curry is being carried in containers for several miles and not eaten right out of the pan! But, they are barely ever open for the takeaway service, they get orders wrong, their pricing system is a bit weird and deliveries are often 30 mins late. I just don’t understand how they care so much about the food they serve, but lack the overall service. It's like watching a see a great summer blockbuster movie on a phone! The content is there, but the things that make it an enjoyable experience are missing. Come on guys! Do better at service, and you'll make a fortune in this town! Especially with the Covid-19 lockdown, we are all begging for a good/reliable takeaway!

Great food, very tasty. Portions sizes are good. Service fast and efficient. We have been coming to Jaflong for years and have never been disappointed.

Personal servicial encantador Disfruté de chuletas de cordero para empezar había cuatro magníficamente cocinados con una profundidad de sabor y mucha carne. Lo seguí con curry cerebral no te dejes llevar por el ingrediente que curry maravillosamente bien especiado y con un keema nan un espléndido almuerzo y una de las mejores comidas indias / pakistaníes que he tenido

Personal amable. Me dio suficiente tiempo para elegir en el menú. La comida era buena. Los niños tenían ramen, que se veía bien. Tenía ramen de carne de res, y podría haber tenido un poco más de carne, aparte de ese lugar.
