KBAP in Kirklees

Food is always good, place is spotlessly clean and waitress and chefs are great. Definitely a ‘go to’ place and the fact that it’s the same staff when we have been before we know it’s going to be good.

This place is a real find. Great Korean BBQ and noodles. Staff could not have been nicer, place was spotless. It doesn’t look much from the outside but it is great.

What a great place to eat! Staff were super friendly and very attentive throughout our meal. The food was divine and for sure the best Korean food we’ve had so far! Will be going back again soon!

I can only say I have fallen in love with this restaurant. The staff were amazing and so attentive, making our experience memorable. They made us feel welcome and steered us expertly through a new world of food for me and my daughter. The food was incredible and I can not believe how quiet it was. Try something new and it won't disappoint. Can not wait to go back again soon. My daughter has been desperate to try since we spotted KBap after a trip to The Mayflower and it didn't disappoint.

limited english spoken which is not a problem- I ordered the katsu chicken with rice & salad What arrived was two deep fried flat processed chicken breast with a dome of sticky plain rice & raw spinach leaves- drizzled with soy & mayonnaise! No mention or portion of curried sweet coconut maple sauce that is katsu! May have well gone to KFC Massively disappointed Would not recommend No imagination nor customer service/ grim experience tbh

We had been to K bab today. We only spend 1:30 hours there and one staff came and told us to give the table to others who’s waiting to get a seat. We had to wait 30 minutes for our food. We only spend 45 mins to eat everything. Such a rude staff. If We spend like 3 hours, I may accept the request. This is our friends gathering. It is not time limited buffet and we ordered a lot of food. I would suggest to be professional and respect customers right. We had to leave without finishing our tea and had good conversation. We will never go there. Such a expensive restaurant which is served by rude staff.

Visited on a busy Saturday evening as a party of four, a bit nervous as they dont accept bookings. Seated after a very short wait, having opted for a barbecue table. The service was very attentive, the staff very helpful explaining the options and guiding us to what was an excellent meal and a new experience to us all. We all shared the cook it yourself barbecue meats with a side order of Vegetable Udon and 10 pieces of the most amazing fried chicken I have tasted in a long time. Plenty of food, all very delicious, the lovely staff kept coming to check our cooking prowess and kept us topped up wherever necessary. We would all highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and will return.

I work just up the road and visit with my best friend whenever my bank manager says yes. When he says no, we both count down the days until we can get there. The service is always friendly, but then so are we. I assume this makes a difference to the other reviews posted. The server is so good she worked out immediately that giving me chopsticks would be akin to giving a monkey the controls to a jet plane and placed a fork in my fumbling English hands. Yes its expensive for lunch and there are days when my friend and I have lost our minds and spent £70 and had to eat from the bins at the back of KFC for the rest of the month. We don't care. It's worth it.

Went for the first time with a group of friends and it was such a let down. The food was really good and tasty but the service was extremely poor and the lady who served us was just plainly rude and unprofessional. We felt very unwelcome as soon as we walked in and when we asked for any food recommendations, we were told harshly to read the menu ourself. It was such a shame as we would have loved to come back again but due to the rudeness we will not be returning again.

Went for lunch today and left disappointed We ordered the chicken, a pork dish, seaweed side and 2 cups of tea. It was all ok, but just ok. The service was good, the food, very average. The £55 bill didn't help either

Loved our visit to K.BAP. The most incredibly tasty seaweed spring rolls and mixed seafood noodles, delicious dishes! Best mixed seafood noodles had in a long time. Really helpful staff, great Korean restaurant, will definitely be back!

Service was faultless. Food was excellent. I have no complaints. The lady who served us was polite, friendly, efficient and honest. The food tasted amazing.

Again I went to KBAP with my husband and the food as usual tastes absolutely amazing! The hall staff are lovely and full of customer awareness. We visit every week to eat at KBAP.

Me and a couple of mates visited k bap for dinner and were really impressed with the service from start to finish. The food however, although tasty, caused multiple members of our party to be ill following the visit. A rather questionable Korean hotdog featuring a fish sausage is the presumable cause however a real shame on an otherwise pleasant evening.

We came to try Korean food and weren’t disappointed. The lady serving was nice and she explained the process of ordering through writing your order number on paper. I phoned prior to check that the vegetarian ramen could be made to be suitable for me as a vegan and was told to request that the egg on top not be included which was done for me. The ramen was super tasty and great portion. We also got vegetable spring rolls and gyoza to share which were tasty. Hopefully won’t be too long until we return.

Went to KBap yesterday for lunch. It was lovely. The waiting staff, charming. The restaurant itself is spacious, nicely decorated. The food was excellent. This may well become a regular hangout for us.

Just had an Uber Eats delivery from this place as the reviews for it were very high. Delighted to say I was not disappointed. We got a great deal as they had beef bibam bap and k stule hot dogs both buy one get one free. I don’t know if other delivery companies have the same deal, but it’s too good to miss. We also ordered a side of kimchee - it’s just not a korean meal without kimchee apparently. The K Style hot dog was like nothing else. Imagine a huge mozzarella stick with a sausage inside. Gooey loveliness. Definitely recommended. Thr bibam bap was also delicious. I have no idea how this is supposed to be eaten, so I just stirred everything together and hoped for the best. It seemed to work just fine - really ejoyed it. The mushrooms in particular were really tasty. Having now read a few reviews on Tripadvisor, I plan to try the dine in experience soon so I can try some korean BBQ.

3 of us went to K Bap on Thurs 24th June and the food was excellent. Lovely, friendly staff and reasonable prices. The place was nice and busy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Been to this Korean restaurant about 4 times and cannot fault it ....food perfect....service fabulous....just go and try it , you won't be disappointed, can't wait for our next visit.

The customer service was delightful, had a wonderful meal and could not fault a single thing about it!

Best tteokbokki I've ever had! Really friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it for the food quality.

Could not reccomend this place more: delicious and authentic food, large portions size and a very good service. Our recent order for my birthday had a little complimentary cake with a thank you note! Can't wait to be back after lockdown over for BBQ too.

The food and service at this place were excellent. Very happy to have a great restaurant like this open in Southampton. We chose the BBQ set B and a couple of other dishes between 4 of us which was plenty of food!

Amazing food and wonderful service. The BBQ Set B was amazing and my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Korean restaurant experience. Will definitely return!
