The best restaurants serving Asian food in Solihull West Midlands

Been to hundreds of Indian restaurants over the years but this is by far the best! Every single time the service is top class and the staff always make you feel so welcome! The food comes out quick and the quality is truly exceptional! Couldn't recommend this restaurant anymore!

Amazing food, 15 minute walk from Travelodge/Holiday Inn Airport Hotels. Lots of vegan choices available and amazing flavours. Generous portions.

Really disappointed to be leaving this review. We have been regulars here for the past year or two and have brought family here several times with high recommendation. Unfortunately Simla is no longer the dining experience it used to be. The main things that drew us to this place prior to tasting the amazing food was the use of dry ice on the tables. It made it feel like more of a dining experience, rather than just going to the local for a curry. It made Simla stand out from the many other Indian restaurants that are local. Secondly was your amazing cocktails, something we looked forward to as much as the food. Sadly the dry ice hasn’t been used on any of our visits for a few months now and the atmosphere just isn’t the same as it was. Not only that, but on our visit this Saturday (8th Feb) we were told that alcohol is no longer being served. Yes you can bring your own bottle, but that just isn’t the same. (They then charged £3.25 per small glass of coke) The food is usually amazing, however this weekend was that was not the case. One of our group members had a chicken Balti and couldn’t eat it because it tasted and smelt of pure garlic.. not how a Balti should be, but was too uncomfortable to say anything. There was so little sauce in the chicken Korai (despite it costing £9.95) that once mixed with rice it was dry, bland and hard to eat. We also asked for 2x chicken nuggets and chips for our 4 and 1 year olds. They brought out adult sized portions for each of them which came to a total of £17.90!!! For them to eat one nugget each! Oh and it gets worse. Rather than us adding up our meals at the table to split the cost between the family, we paid in full and took a photo of the receipt to work out at home. LESSON LEARNED! They’d charged £9.95 for 1 chicken tikka fried rice AND had the audacity to add on a £10.60 tip for themselves! Which we hadn’t realised until we got home. Absolutely disgusting!

Fantastic vibe, great food. Mezz was very friendly and helpful. Recommended Obama's dish. It was amazing. Great portion sizes. Drinks were good - Value for money. Will recommend.

First time here and being New Year’s Eve was very busy but was served very efficiently and with very little waiting. Food was excellent and staff very polite and friendly would highly recommend this place.

Gran pequeña familia - restaurante dirigido. Comida sabrosa a un precio decente. He estado allí tres veces y aún no me ha decepcionado.

Ni siquiera 1 estrella - compró un trato a través de Groupon, reservó y obtuvo una respuesta (presumiblemente automatizada), organizó la niñera, condujo allí para encontrarlo cerrado con un letrero en la ventana sobre un corte de energía. En su lugar cenamos en el cercano Masala Club (muy bueno). Luego me quejé a través de la propia página web del restaurante, pero no recibí respuesta ni disculpas. Tontamente le dio otra oportunidad y volvió a reservar, ya que las ofertas todavía aparecían en Groupon por lo que se presume que estaba de nuevo abierto. Una vez más recibió una confirmación inmediatamente después de la reserva. Conduje allí, llegué para encontrar la misma señal en la ventana y no había señales de vida en el interior. Tan pronto como pueda averiguar cómo voy a obtener un reembolso. Sorprendido al ver ofertas que aún se venden en Groupon

Fiesta de 8 personas sentadas cerca de la ventana principal, un montón de espacio en un elegante entorno tailandés. Un montón de opciones en el menú. Me hicieron pollo Bang Bang que no estaba en el menú, que fue amable por parte del chef. La comida era de primera calidad y el personal era amable. Noche encantadora y recomendaría a otros.

Nos reunimos como un grupo de amigos regularmente a mitad de semana y siempre hemos disfrutado de una gran comida y servicio. Su oferta de comida es de valor real y nunca hay prisa para seguir adelante como hemos experimentado en otros lugares. Esperamos encontrarnos en 25.

Hoy decidí que quería un ramen de wagamama así que hice mi pedido al recibirlo me muero de hambre en este punto abro ansiosamente mi cuervo para poder disfrutar de ese delicioso caldo para mi sorpresa no había ninguno me decido a llamar a la tienda para averiguar por qué me enviaron fideos sin caldo un miembro del personal coge el teléfono le hago consciente del problema así que dijo ill get my manager bare with finalmente después de lo que se sintió como una eternidad en el teléfono esperando esta señora viene en el teléfono y se enrolla con ella a cargo así que procedo a preguntar cómo es que me han enviado fideos sin caldo ella respondió con casi lo que se sentía como un tono de voz agresivo pasivo burlón y proceder a decir que bueno lo que pasa es que los fideos empapan el caldo y que ella sabe que es bastante común que suceda cuando los fideos se ponen con el caldo que decir disculpa mi idioma pero lo que su dicho es un pistake ya que el artículo es un ramen y debe venir con caldo también mencioné que cuando pedí este plato en caldo pasado vienen por separado y no todos mezclados como llegó esta vez ella que va en un despotricar cómo antes había un problema de embalaje y que por qué ya no los enviaron por separado como estaba a punto de responder se quedó sintiendo molesto y frustrado con la respuesta recibida soy un cliente repito y creo que ahora estoy de poner orden de gamama recomendar de nuevo a amigos y gerente de la familia y deshacerse mejor con las quejas y necesita mejorar el trato con el personal.
