We were in the town and decided we would try this place. The place wasn't overly busy. The person on the entrance counter showed us to a table and said our server would be over shortly to take our food and drink order. I had the Asahi beer which was nice. I had the chicken Katsu curry which was nice, the chicken seemed fresh and would recommend this dish. Overall the place seemed clean, the staff seemed friendly. Food was good. The place can get busy at times so booking a table could be best. I would recommend coming here.

Excellent service. All the food was amazing and was delivered to us very soon after ordering so we didn’t have to wait long. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with special mention to Stuart.

Amazing service from Sunil, food came very speedy and tasted delicious. Our server was extremely accommodating and made our dinner just that bit better. Wonderful atmosphere and amazing juices!

Great food, everything is freshly cooked. My mother was visiting from Poland and has been desperate to try a meal here. She throughly enjoyed her food and the experience . We opted to order several starters as there were so many things that she wanted to try and she was worried she wouldn’t have room for a main and desert . Highly recommend the banana katsu it was one the the best deserts that I have tried .

After a cinema visit we decided to eat at Wagamama. However from the annoyed staff who clearly did not want to serve us as late arrivals at 9.20pm to the food- what a disaster.The only female waiter was silent and rude .She communicated only with facial expressions We ordered drinks and they were thrown onto the table without a word and left balancing on the edge of the table There was a waiter at the next table giving a lot of attention to a group because one of their party worked for the Wagamama chain - we heard every detail about how the chefs were trained and where because the waiter was standing right next to us whilst he clicked a clip on his lanyard - it was extremely annoying and when asked to stop he pulled a face and walked away. We ate and left as fast as we could. On leaving we re read the menu outside and as we thought several items listed on the menu on our two simple dishes had been missing, as well as having cold plates and rude waiting staff - I suggest you eat elsewhere in Touchwood and give these rude waiting staff a miss .

We visited for lunch. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was delicious and good value. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal.

Haven't been to wagamama before. Was very welcomed into the restaurant by Gaya, very friendy. The atmosphere was nice, although it was busy, it was nice to see the bar and kitchen and good music. Our server was Ary/Ari (sorry i dont remember how she spelt it!). what an absolute sweetheart and very polite young lady, she helped us find the perfect dishes and she was very helpful with our queries. She recommend a few sides and mains, and we did indeed enjoy it. The only problem we had was being squished between sets of other people. i get the concept, as Ary/Ari explained it to us, but I think I speak for everyone when I say, we all want a bit of personal space.

After a inflexible online ordering process through a 3rd party that left a particularly disappointed daughter, I rang the store to see what they could do to address the situation. The service from Bani was fantastic, empathetic and led to a totally satisfactory resolution to the situation (that online ordering services just don’t provide). Thank you so much and the food was fantastic.

Been to this specific location twice in the last month and really enjoyed both visits. Service was friendly and fast on both occasions and as can be expected from Wagamama the food was great.

Always fabulous menu. The food cooked to perfection. The chairs are a tad uncomfortable especially the ones bolted to the floor!

Visited 2 days ago around 6pm with a friend. Greeted by a chirpy gentleman. Winter was great too. Food was excellent as usual. Opted for the chicken soul bowl this time round and it was packed with flavour. Never had a bad meal from here.

Had a gift voucher so cane to use it. The service was brilliant. The good Delicious. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

The manager was very attentive to our special diet requirements. The steak was cooked perfectly. Pad Thai dish was a bit bland and the chairs were low for us though.

Myself and my husband attended for some late lunch yesterday around 2pm. We were served by a lovely lady called Katie. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect meals for us both. The food was great but the service we received from Katie made the visit. She was polite, friendly, helpful and we both went away saying she is an asset to the company. We will be back again.

Social eating at its best. The atmosphere was relaxed and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The waitress who took out order was friendly and bubbly with a larger than life smile. Visited Wagamama’s in Touchwood with a friend on a Friday night. It was my first visit to this branch having been to the one in the city centre lots before. We didn’t book beforehand and were seated within a few minutes. The place was moderately busy so we didn’t expect the service to be as fast as it was! We ordered gyoza’s for starters and they arrived the same time as the drinks, quickly followed by the mains. I opted for the Katsu Curry which is always great and a very decent portion size too. My friend has the veggie pad Thai which smelled absolutely devine! The service really was good. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I wish I got the name of our waitress as she was loved and really made it an all round great experience. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and I’ll definitely be coming back to this branch soon!

We visited the restaurant for a family dinner. Can’t fault anything right from the beginning to the end of our gastronomical journey at “wagamama, solihull”. The food was absolutely brilliant!!! The service was great and made us feel valued. Really love the service delivery concept of this brand. The staff morale was high and that reflected in the F&B service/production quality. The kitchen team deserves a special mention for dishing out consistent and quality food. Would definitely spread the good words about this place.

Decided to visit ( Tuesday) as it always a little quieter. Lovely greeting and shown to our table is super quick time. Service is always second to none and the front of house staff are always lovely. Tom our waiter was great, nothing to much trouble. Always worth a repeat visit.

There was a large group of us came in on Monday. The restaurant was busy but we were greeted and sat at our table straight away. A lovely young man called Tom came over and really helped us, talking over the menu and offering his opinion on the dishes and sides. He was so polite and friendly. Huge queue for a table (totally unexpected for a January weekend before payday) which moved quickly and was excellently managed by front of house). We were a group of 8 and once reached front of the queue were immediately shown to a table - impressive!). Made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble by our lovely host Tom. Order for much needed drinks taken immediately and food order followed swiftly afterwards. Everything delivered as expected (explained as always starters/meals would arrive as cooked and could be at different times), everything delivered and delicious- so hard to please a big group with teenagers, but you succeeded! A lovely evening and we will return soon. Many thanks to Tom and all supporting staff that made our evening such a lovely night.

My friend and I went to wagamama for an impromptu dinner and our server (Karelina) was an absolute gem. She was prompt, funny and would engage us in conversation. The sweetest server I’ve had and one of the sweetest I’ve met.

Food was delicious and well worth the price, dessert was even tastier! Service was fantastic; our server (Karelina I believe her name was), was absolutely lovely, and very kind and accommodating as well. I am always impressed how quickly the kitchen gets the food out even when the restaurant was heaving! Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal, and would absolutely recommend to everyone.

We always use wagamamas when shopping in Solihull. We went in on Monday and could see they where really busy. We were greeted by a lovely young Named Tom. He made us feel right at home. Very polite and well mannered.

Haven’t been to Wags for about 6mths. Went here for a family meal on Sunday 2.30pm ish. Very busy but we we’re sat and dealt with efficiently. Waitress was quick and polite. I’ve been coming to a Wags restaurant since ‘96. Over the years I’ve found it’s become a bit of a production line. More recently the portion sizes have gotten smaller and prices have increased, plus their menu has gotten smaller. Food is still tasty but not good value. My Donburi was good and the kids liked their Chahans but kids portion sizes were too small and so we topped them up with starters. If you want pan-asian food there are better restaurants to visit in the Midlands in my opinion. For newbies just be aware that the food comes out as it’s made in no particular order. Toilets we’re ok. One door of the ladies was smeared with sticky stuff which should have been cleaned off. X3 soft drinks, x2 starters, x2 mains x2 kids mains = £55 and change.

Popped into here for a quick meal.

A visit to Solihull is never complete without a Chicken Katsu Curry at Waga in Touchwood. Enjoyed it enormously. Seems to have had a slight makeover since I last visited but same efficient and friendly staff.
