Lime Pickle in Solihull

Had our first takeaway from Lime Pickle this evening, recommended by friends and wow 🤩 they did not disappoint! Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Vindaloo and some rice and naan, they sent some lovely little extras, the whole thing was delicious! Arrived quickly and it was hot, good value for money! Well done Lime Pickle we will be back!!

Ordered 2 meals for delivery. Starter, main, rice and nan. When order arrived, there were 3 meals. 2 extra starters, popadoms, main and rice with compliments. Can never fault the service at this restaurant. Reasonably priced and good quality, flavoursome food. Highly recommended.

Food took 2hrs 30 mins to receive the food, the restaurant seemed to prioritise other orders over just eat orders. Did compensate with extra food but would have preferred food ontime over additional food.

I got told a wrong time and had to wait 2 hours as this place knows if i were told 2 hours over the phone I clearly would of looked elsewhere , very clever but very wrong to lie to people as a way to make money , I will certainly look elsewhere in the future as half the food had to be chucked in bin as people went to bed and went without because this place is a shambles .

I always order from here and they are great. Always give free food and always give extra.. I changed my meat . I usually have chicken. But I went for lamb with my masala . And the lamb was so chewy I had to spit it out. And couldn’t eat the meat. But apart from that one time . They are amazing and always use them

Wow, wow, wow!!! Sadly, I am only in Birmingham for one night. If I wasn't I would be ordering curry from Lime and Pickle all the time. Amazingly tasty food, huge portions, incredibly quick delivery and when my order arrived I thought they must have given me the wrong one as the bag was so heavy. The reason for this was that they had actually given me an extra peshwari naan bread, a portion of onion bargies with 4 different dips, a bag of salad and 6 free popadoms.....all for free!!! I had only spent £17 so it was absolutely unbelievable to get all of this on the house. The man that delivered the food was really friendly and when I phoned up to say thank you, they were very nice on the phone too. I 100% recommend this restaurant and would not hesitate to go back. They even put a smiley face and a little thank you note on the poppadom bag. Mind-blowingly good customer service and super generous too. I wish I lived closer. This business is getting it so right. Well done ✅ 10/10 Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I only tend to leave reviews if I'm super impressed or really disappointed and I was far from disappointed I can assure you. Food was delicious and the freebies were a lovely touch, there was so much that we've even got tomorrow's dinner sorted. Everyone commented how great it was, so much so that I had to review. We had the Naga sizzler, chicken shashlik, chicken chat puree and free onion bhajis for starters along with a side of Bombay potatoes and they were all amazing. Didn't even get round to the curries as we were so stuffed from the starters, sides and poppadoms that we have saved these for tomorrow. Thanks lime pickle, expect more orders from us 👍

Beautiful quality food! Mr Alan’s Masala is amazing, my favourite Masala out of all the local take aways! Special Fried rice was an epic portion and delicious. A bit more pricey than other options nearby however by far the best quality! Highly recommend

This is by far my favourite place to go food is amazing great portion size 😋 plus got loads of extras for my sons birthday which was really appreciated. Order did arrive a little later than originally planned however when it came it was really stunning food and the restaurant made a special effort by giving some freebies with nice notes to apologise for the wait. Really appreciated that and will definitely be back again .

Honestly the best Indian takeaway I have had. Lovely quality - the coconut rice in particular is lovely. Always end up with something extra to go alongside the order, which is always nice to have. Even on busier Fridays they are always good with contact.

Been here 2 times now. Food is nicely made, and as ordered. Have had a few things from these guys and can't fault any. Service is excellent, love the guys, very friendly and remember their customers. It is a takeaway buts never crowded or busy when i go, food is made and given within the time they say. Wish they had more vegetarian options, like aubergine or karela, but i suppose as a business its about storage of stock, and these are not regularly ordered items. Brilliant all around.

We love lime and pickle ! They have the best Indian dishes and always make sure that the food is top quality. We try something different every time and almost always enjoy the food. The only item we haven’t liked is the garlic naan as it was crunchy. Everything else is amazing !!!😻

We’ve lived in Birmingham for 4 years now, and this is by far the best Indian takeaway we’ve had. We ordered our food yesterday (during England’s terrible attempt at football), food came on time. The food was amazing, their set meal for 2 is brilliant as you get to choose your starters, mains, veggie side, and naan. The price is fantastic (not just on the set meal but everything on the menu) and the taste and quantity is just as great! My girlfriend is usually sick from Indian food when it’s too oily, but not here! She loved it! Would definitely recommend everyone local to try! - Russell

It’s good quality food but lacks flavour in some of the dishes

Honestly the best Indian takeaway food I've had, and they provided a few free extras that were definitely appreciated, estimated to be worth just under £15 with a free curry, rice and extra poppadoms. Usually the vindaloos I get don't phase me but this was actually spicy but still full of flavour 🫶🏻
