Enjoyed our meal and we will return when in the UK again

Service was not good at all, kept moving things on our table & just overall not a friendly atmosphere to be in. Food was average & the chicken in the chicken balti was not cooked properly. I did get the price of this knocked off the bill but I will not be returning.

Quiet night when we were in. Food excellent but the heating could have been on.

I’ve come to Solihull on business, ordered a takeaway and I’ve been blown away how nice it was. It was piping hot delivered to my hotel and so tasty. Very very impressed. Looking forward to going to the restaurant next time I’m here

On my business trip, I had the opportunity to order a vegetarian briyani with mushrooms and vegetarian samosas for take away at 9 pm. The order was prepared on time. The food was warm and delicious. All in all, the service and the owner were very friendly and fairly helpful in terms of questions. I can recommend everyone to visit Sreepur Indian cuisine.

Service was lovely, we all had a great time and food was tasty. Although after the meal I felt the need to drink gallons & gallons of water followed after an hour by a long conversation with the porcelain throne. After a sleep feeling more normal so solid 4 stars

Bland food...tried to tell me all curries came with peppers....wrong...I normally go into the city centre for a curry....back into the city for me.

The food was absolutely disappointing, we had butter chicken and it was big chunky pieces with runny sauce with no flavour. The keema curry was runny and no keeema could be tasted either. The garlic naan was only food was nice.

Saturday night walk in no problem for a table ordered drinks then the food Wow !! Garlic chilli chicken ,lamb rogan ,rice ,nam bread absolutely spot on !!!! Very reasonable price as well .Thank you Guys !

Tasty curry, good value, plenty of choice and friendly staff. We hadn't booked in but this wasn't a problem, restaurant wasn't too busy. It was no issue to have what I didn't eat boxed up to take away.

The food here, especially in my opinion, the lamb dishes they do, are excellent ( the lamb dupiaza with a few extra chillis which I often have is absolutely superb); the service is also friendly & professional. Prices are reasonable too. My only criticism of the restaurant as a place to eat relates to its decor, which is otherwise comfortable, however, it would be greatly improved if some - if not all - of the restaurant’s large plain glass windows had some sort of window dressing to them - either Venetian or Roman blinds maybe, or even some muslin netting would be preferable to nothing at all, as most people don’t like feeling as if they’re in fish bowl. However, this is a great place for food and well worth a visit.

Stale poppadoms, about an of grease lying on top of both meal's, rice and starter at the bottom of the bag in another inch of grease which went everywhere resulting in a t-shirt having to be thrown in the bin (no vanish would get that out) along with the food and the menu. £34 for absolute rubbish plus the cost of a ruined t-shirt.

Just had our delivery of quite possibly the the best food we have had from the local area ! Beautiful will definitely be going back as our local best Indian cuisine Whitecroft Road

As per last review when is aid they were great, ignore that as that's been deleted and updated with this new review. Haven't ordered for a while as food went downhill and we fancied a curry tonight 28/08/2022. Well what can we say, tandoori mixed grill normally comes with a nan bread and a chicken thigh, well it was scraps if chicken and tough lamb full of grease, as for the poppadoms stale as anything and onions that were probably from last week as was the salad, asked for the nan bread well done, was anaemic and as for the chicken korma my god that was as watery as my hosepipe in the garden, then to top it off the delivery driver turns up and expects to keep the change, don't think so, he was shocked when he said you want your change, never have we wasted so much money on a takeaway. Do not order from here as you will get stale food which is inedible and vile. Rude on the phone also need to learn manners and customer service. Rude rude rude and disgusting food.

One of the best Indian restaurant if not the best I have eaten in, clean good food and most importantly friendly nothing to much trouble. No loud music plain decor with a small, Well stocked bar

The starter chicken shaslik I had here was honest to goodness the best food I've ever eaten. The rest of the meal was on a par. A most enjoyable evening in a wonderful establishment with top notch food.

Have used sreepur for years its by far the best quality around. Having a few meals with friends and family over the Christmas period at restaurants of there choice locally has set in stone what I already knew Sreepur is hands down the best by a mile.

Ordered prawn curry which worth 6.75£ which includes less than 10 little shrimps in the whole curry.

Lovely food in a relaxed setting.

This is about 8 years ago, it was highly recommended by a friend, however it was the worst curry we ever had , at the time we were there only customers, it took a hour to arrive, it was like a watery stew ,it basically was uneatable. We never ate the food nor did we ever return.

Really don’t know what has happened here. Brought friends along as we had always highly rated this restaurant, been many times. Sat down at 20.00 didn’t get served our meals until 21.40, wasn’t busy at all. We had had £72 worth of drinks by then. Couldn’t eat my meal and told owner who offered to take off bill, but then when I asked to take home for my dog he declined saying because I didn’t pay I couldn’t take home!! Very inconvenienced, soo took the meat home anyway. Very very disappointed with whole experience Sreepur, have never had this before.

First time with ordering with this restaurant. After trying numerous places over the years and most the time disappointed, I have to say me and my partner really enjoyed the food, both starter and main. It was nicely spiced with authentic ingredients. Not overly spiced or too sweet like some restaurants but a nice chilli kick which I love. I will definitely use this restaurant again. Worst curry I've had for years. My Mom cooked spicier stews. Honestly my Rogan Josh was so bland.

Visited today (24/07/2021) with a party of 8, honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. Food full of flavours, very friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend the restaurant a 100% ! Even though COVID restrictions are now lifted the restaurant still had good safety measures in place such as having windows open for ventilation, staff wearing mask and hand sanitiser available. Once again I really recommend this restaurant!

1st time I tried this restaurant & it won't be the last. My chicken Rogan Josh was lovely & tasty. The staff are nice & friendly. I'd definitely travel further down the Coventry road than use the other restaurants, they aren't as good as they used to be.

I spend a lot of time on the road staying in hotels, and decided to give this place a try after a long drive. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, just the usual takeaway curry. But the food I received was a wonderful. It was really tasty and cooked to perfection. The Sreepur has now been saved to my favourites list for next time I'm in town.

Our first visit back since before lockdown and I have to say the food was as delicious as ever if not better and the hospitality second to none as always, With every safe precautions taken! The cleaning routine after guests had left the table particularly impressed us. We traveled from Nuneaton as this is the children's favorite restaurant. Estamos un poco nerviosos por ir a un restaurante con la pandemia global que estamos atravesando en este momento y no estábamos seguros de qué esperar con respecto a Covid: 19 medidas, solo esperábamos lo mejor.Desafortunadamente, a pesar de algunas medidas marginales implementadas, no volveremos a ir a ningún restaurante hasta que todo vuelva a la normalidad.¡Me decepcionó ver a un solo miembro con una mascarilla en la barbilla! Ningún otro miembro del personal tenía mascarilla, el personal se acercó a servir comida sin mascarilla. La puerta del restaurante no estaba abierta, así que tuve que abrirla con las manos y lavarme las manos una vez más en el restaurante, esto también fue en un día caluroso.Fuimos un domingo tranquilo, sin embargo, otro grupo entró al restaurante y se sentaron en la mesa junto a nosotros a pesar de tener un restaurante casi vacío para usar. No creo que las mesas estuvieran a un metro de distancia.Decepcionante, desafortunadamente espero que este sea el caso en muchos restaurantes y he decidido que simplemente no vale la pena correr el riesgo.Si los restaurantes quieren que los clientes vuelvan durante la pandemia mundial y mantenerse a flote, deben hacerlo mejor.

Called early evening (6.00pm). Quiet but looked after by attentive, pleasant staff. We had a selection of starters with poppadoms and a tray of pickles and chutneys. There was plenty of chutney which comparing with some restaurants that serve tiny portions. Shared a selection of main courses all delicately spiced. Selection of Indian or English beers, and a good wine list. All reasonably priced. Recommended 8/7/20 As I am in lockdown I couldn't visit but ordered a meal for delivery. Ordered Lemon Gosht - beautiful tender lamb subtle use of herbs and spices, and chicken tikka Dansak, nicely spiced and naan and rice. All very good.

Not the best ok if you like pink chicken

We booked a table at short notice and it was good that they could accommodate us. We have not been here before. We found the decor to be dated but it was clean. We ordered poppadoms with the tray containing mint sauce, lime pickle etc all of which were very good. Started consisted of mixed starter, nargis kebab, onion bhajee and chicken chat puree. Unfortunately the latter was nice except the purée which was very greasyOur main courses were great but the plain nan was covered in butter which is not something we are used to. In future in order to enjoy it I would ask for no butter.

We were staying at the Premier Inn at the NEC following a show, and we looked up local Indian Restaurants. Sreepur does look a little tired on the outside, but the reviews encouraged us to give it a go, after all, the food is what counts! This decision was the highlight of our day. The staff were lovely and attentive without being intrusive, we were seating promptly even without a booking. The starters were generous portions, the Prawn Puree was the best I've had anywhere and the host took the time to explain how the Shami Kebabs may differ from others we have had before. This meant we knew what to expect and they were lovely. The mains were served piping hot, delicious and so well spiced. The Tawa came out literally sizzling! The naans were soft and full of filling! We left feeling very full and happy! We would highly recommend a visit to Sreepur!

Fuimos aquí esta noche mientras visitábamos el NEC para un espectáculo, nos gustó la India y, a pesar de un par de críticas negativas, ¡pensamos que lo probaríamos!La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, la relación calidad-precio era buena y sin duda volveremos.El interior era bastante agradable, los baños estaban limpios al igual que el restaurante en general. Tiene licencia completa y nos dio platos calientes y un quemador para mantener nuestra comida caliente en la mesa.El exterior del restaurante está cansado y podría arreglarse (una mano de pintura y quitar la hierba que crece en los escalones no estaría mal).Si pudiéramos haber dado 4. ¡5 estrellas que tendríamos!
