Los chicos se las arreglaron para apretarme una mesa para 1 a pesar de estar ocupado. El personal era amable y muy acogedor. Nada era demasiado problema, incluso preguntando si quería el curry un poco más caliente. Estando solos se tomaron el tiempo para hablarme sobre su negocio y clientes, fue claro ver que ponían mucho orgullo y cuidado en lo que hacen. Uno de los mejores curry que he probado, y a buen precio. Si fuera local volvería de nuevo regularmente. Salud muchachos.

I phoned to order two items , MS accepted it and said it would be another £5 to pay the driver, which we did. Upon opening the order we found that neither of the additional items were found. Very poor, will not use MS again.

Elvis and the team are great. Venue is cosy without feeling cramped, clean and service is great. Polite and friendly staff, attentive even when busy. Take their recommendations if you don't know what to have. Prices are fair and food is delicious. Drinks are serviced by the pub downstairs, so well stocked and great if you get to your booking a little early. Tandoori Combo Grill was phenomenal.

Nuestra primera visita habiendonos mudado recientemente a la zona y buscando nuevos restaurantes. Tuvimos una pinta abajo en el pub primero y aquí es donde vienen todas las bebidas para el restaurante, así que tienes una muy buena selección de cerveza bien guardada. Servicio muy amable y agradable del propietario Elvis. La comida era sabrosa, bien dividida, y la tubería caliente. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita y sin duda volveremos.

Comida muy agradable en un entorno pintoresco. Comida encantadora junto con un excelente servicio. Gran variedad de bebidas del bar de abajo. Mucho aparcamiento.

Warm and welcoming place. Food fresh and hot and tasty, naan bread seemed to be forgotten so meal almost finished when it arrived. Staff very friendly. Needs some cosmetic attention, cling film over the extractor was not the best view but the food made up for it. 4/5 for me!

A fantastic family run curry restaurant that is our “go to” for amazing Indian food whenever we are in the area. Super friendly staff, serving top class food. The restaurant being above the Queens Head at Meriden, means great beers and a full selection of drinks is also available to order in the restaurant. Give the Meriden Spice a try. You will not be disappointed.

So one of the waiters were chatting to us and the food was flavourful. If you’re nearby and it’s around dinner come in and eat there.

Warmly welcomed by the staff who very very friendly and attentive. Place was full of regulars Food delicious and portions were decent The only down side was there was no dessert menu for those with a sweet tooth. Would come again

Been to hundreds of Indian restaurants over the years but this is by far the best! Every single time the service is top class and the staff always make you feel so welcome! The food comes out quick and the quality is truly exceptional! Couldn't recommend this restaurant anymore!

After using Meriden spice for some time altho not recently, very disappointed with our takeaway Thought it was only me but my husband said the same, the food had no taste/flavour. Shame as we’ve always had good food in the past

We have ordeee from Meriden Spice previously and usually the same dishes but on this occasion the Chicken Shashlick wasn’t to the usual standard, meat was quite dry unfortunately. All other items ordered were fine.

The popadoms were all crumbled and more like cereal. The onion bhajis were cold and the Rogan was very watery. The naan and rice were nice however

chicken dupiaza was floating in ghee , chicken was dry , had no flavor one of the worst curries I've had. lime pickle was well past it's use by date was hard like wood and inedible , keema rice was bland ,onion salad had no taste to it , mixed kebab was very bland again chicken was dry .on the plus side the poppodoms were ok nice and crisp and they put a few extra ones in which was a good job as I threw most of the food in the bin. I have had curry from there before and it wasn't as bad as this

What a wonderful little surprise this venue is. The host was very welcoming, not surprising, for such an unusual location, it is in the rooms above the pub. Make your way around the side to the back and enter into a bustling experience. Tables were efficiently moved to accommodate the two of us, and the knowledgeable waiters buzzed about taking their time to prepare orders and explain the menu. Apparently, it is the locals' best kept secret, and there was chatting and laughter, making it a relaxed evening. Because the pub is only downstairs, I would suggest having a quick drink, but you are able to get served at the table from the bar. The food introduced itself long before we sat down through the inviting fragrances, and patrons made their suggestions as we perused the full list of dishes. I'm afraid to say I played it safe and had my usual prawn puree and merga masala. After our freshly cooked poppadoms, the food was served quickly and presented amazingly. From what i saw the other patrons being served, I will definitely explore the range of dishes more next time. The portions were such that if you do decide to go here, I would suggest you skip lunch. Even though it's a small venue, you weren't rushed, so much so that the proprietor introduced himself and was genuinely interested in your experience. One tip make sure you book a table early. The cost was inline local curry restaurants. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it.

We go here often and I don’t need to say anything more it is amazing the best curries I have ever had. The staff are also so kind and welcoming that’s why we go time and time again. Also my sister is vegetarian and they cater for that amazingly.

I ordered Friday night and again Sunday because it was that tasty. Not only is the food delicious, hot and fresh but the staff also make this place a gem. If you haven't tried Meriden Spice before I'd highly recommend them, no synthetic colours or flavourings just good quality ingredients crafted together beautifully. 5 stars every time from me.

We have ordered from Meriden spice for nearly 7yrs now. Having recently moved area this business has gone above and beyond to still deliver to us with no let up in the quality. We have just had the most delicious curry a family of 5 everyone one us happy. Quality service and food. If we can’t have Meriden spice il just cook my own! No competition thanks guys!

Ordered steak n chips no steak so substituted for scampi and chips however the difference in price is 4 .00 so still expected the fried mushrooms onions and side salad as I did pay for them which didn’t happen slightly disappointed

Wow , what an evening me and my wife have had at Meriden spice . Great service from all the staff and the food we ordered was amazing . Traveled up from Somerset for the caravan camping show at the n e c .asked to try different sauces as wasn’t sure about how hot the spice would be . ( so glad we did ) . After ordering our food we chatted with a lovely gent ( didn’t get his name) assume he was the owner as was very passionate about the food and the restaurant . When we come back next year myself and my wife will be booking meridian for our main evening meal without any hesitation . Thank you Meriden for a great night .

Food, service and additional charm is fantastic, this place is quite special and quant being based above a pub (access from the rear). Drinks and food are paid for separately - family run by people that do care and become long-term friends to all. Absolutely great venue for a curry, staff are so friendly and the place is a little quirky and oldy worldly which is really great, now the food is top quality, best naan bread I've had for years and the lamb I had was so tender. All in all it was a great night out. Oh and you have to go round the left side of the building to get round the back of the pub to the restaurant. Highly recommend this place!!

Table of 8 ate here last night while staying at the hotel down the road. The staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was a problem. Food was brilliant, the whole party enjoyed their meals washed down with great beers from the pub downstairs.

Underwhelming, vegetable Bhaji was a tray of chopped veg, chicken korma watery, naan bread tough, murgh just spicy, no flavour and very tough onions used (outer skin normally disposed of) won’t order again from here, not value for money or good quality unfortunately.
