Fantástica cena y servicio en Thai Orchid. Tuvimos el trato del menú fijo, que es un valor brillante. Generosas porciones, perfectamente cocinadas y bellamente presentadas. Precioso interior del restaurante, muy limpio, acogedor y acogedor, con impresionantes decoraciones tailandesas. Definitivamente volveré. ¡Gracias!

Nos encanta la comida tailandesa, así que estábamos emocionados de probar este lugar, que ahora se llama Thai Orchid bajo nueva gestión. Tuve una cena encantadora aquí por el cumpleaños de Hubbie. Comida deliciosa y camarero muy amable, servicial (con recomendaciones) y atento. NB Por casualidad fuimos un jueves por la noche cuando hacen una oferta Set Meal que en realidad incluye la mayor parte del menú

Un poco difícil de encontrar inicialmente, ya que el nombre del restaurante ha cambiado a 'Orquídea Tailandesa' y el exterior se ha cambiado. Encantadora bienvenida del camarero más maravilloso. Al parecer el restaurante ha sido tomado y está bajo nueva dirección. Excelente servicio. Fantástica carta de vinos y muy razonable. . La comida era deliciosa. Probamos tailandés no chino y no podíamos fallar. Las mesas estaban bellamente colocadas con flores frescas en cada mesa. Desafortunadamente éramos las únicas personas en todo el restaurante hasta que otra pareja llegó una hora más tarde. Absolutamente ni idea de por qué y pensamos que era un hallazgo brillante! Definitivamente regresaré. Una velada realmente encantadora.

Tuve una salida de aquí hace unas semanas que era irreal y tenía un sabor increíble, así que decidí llevar a mi familia aquí para mi comida de cumpleaños. Asistimos el viernes por la noche, reservamos una mesa sin problemas. El restaurante estaba limpio con una hermosa decoración! El servicio era increíble, el personal era muy atento y se aseguró de que un miembro del grupo que no tenía gluten sabía todas las comidas que podía tener e incluso hizo una de las comidas sin gluten. La comida era increíble, teníamos una mezcla de pollo, carne de res, gambas y pato. ¡Todo fue excepcional! Realmente me cuesta encontrar una buena comida china para llevar / restaurante en Birmingham, sin embargo, he encontrado el mío! Recomiendo 100%, la relación calidad-precio es muy buena!

We had a take away which was of very poor quality. Yuk Sung served with baby gem lettuce, penang chicken was just watery coconut milk, salt and pepper chips were obviously reheated, beef in pepper sauce had no heat and cantonese sweet and sour chicken tasted more like crispy shredded chicken. It went in the bin and a lot of money wasted. I would have given 0 stars if I was able to.

this is the worse takeaway I have every been to prawnn toast for horrendous the chips were soggy and warm up special fried rice was soggy if your in lytham st annes walk pass and do yourself a fav

Absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Been going since a little girl and first time back since Covid (had takeaway) staff remembered us straightaway and gave us a warm welcome, food was 10/10 and offered a wide range of variations. Really recommend for a good meal out or takeaway

I ordered a takeaway but when i received my food my spring rolls were soggy and cold my spare ribs were over cooked they were like leather (my dog had them in the end) I phoned up to leave my feed back and the lady on the phone called me a liar and she kept repeating your a liar your a liar. I have never known customer service like it absolutely disgusting at least listen to your customers.

We found this restaurant via trip advisor whilst staying at a local hotel. We phoned and book a table and everything was professionally dealt with. On arrival at the restaurant we were shown to a large table for our party of 4, the staff were very attentive from the outset. We choose to have the set meal but asked to change a few items, this was handled with no difficulty and no fuss. The prices were very reasonable for the size of the portions we received and all the food was tasty and well presented. It was a very pleasant evening with friends, we all throughly enjoyed the food , the service and the ambiance of the restaurant. We will definitely use again.

Waited 1.25 hrs for delivery, arrived with half order missing. Rang to complain said were busy. Missing items arrived later and was appalling quality. Chicken was stringy and tough thrown in bin , beef was tough. So dissatisfied and disappointed

We have only ever had takeaway but we’ve probably had 30 meals over recent years & we absolutely love the food. Always accommodating of my food allergies too.

We have always enjoyed our food from here but have not ordered in a while. I’m not sure if there are new owners but the quality of the food was awful. Firstly it was largely lukewarm. Starters: bbq chicken wings messy but tasty but the chicken satay was pretty much inedible. Cold strips of rubbery chicken with a sauce so thick it would not pour out if the tub. Just awful. Side: chips cold & soggy oven chips - horrible Mains: Shredded meat chow mein, greasy and salty. Husband binned it after a few mouthfuls. Chicken curry - thin, salty with cheap frozen chicken bits in. King prawn fried rice - ok, saved by the cashew nuts. So disappointed- won’t be ordering again.

Definitely the worst Chinese I have had, there was brown stuff leaking all through the bag which went on to my white tiles. Chicken chow Mein was bland no flavour whatsoever. Chicken wasn’t cooked properly, rice was all stuck together. The only good thing was the curry sauce as it had flavour and spice. Won’t be ordering from here again I’ve learnt to stick to my usual

Tried to charge an extra 50p for delivery after the order had already been processed, claiming it was outside of their normal range and had to be paid to the driver in cash. Food was warm at best.

The food arrived 20 minutes later than the advertised 45-60 minutes so we were very hungry by the time it arrived!

The chow mein is amazing with the chicken like tht and the curry was lovely like something back in the day very nice indeed compliments to the chefs

Excellent tasty and great value

After ordering the week before and finding everything good this week was really disappointing with the amount of meat in the special curry it was basically full of mushrooms with only a tiny amount of meat and a couple of prawn’s and a container full of sauce . Will keep looking for my new regular Chinese takeaway 🥡

I order from here alot but this time there was barley any meat in curry, the prawn toast was terrible and alot for a piece of toast and barley any prawn, and 5 tiny wings is alot for fiver, absolutely gutted this time round

Ordered salt and chilli prawns. I am Gluten free and ordered off Just Eat and on allergies it said did not contain gluten. They have arrived in batter. I called to ask the restaurant about this and the man shouted at me saying 'why you order king prawns' saying it was my fault and I can not change it for anything else and i must eat them. I explained if i did it would make me extremely ill and he said well take it up with just eat and hung the phone up. So confused with this service. I think they should have been refunded. Terrible service, very shocked.

Ordered the chilli/salt king prawns which were not advertised as having gluten where other items were clearly labelled as containing gluten, ordered arrived and the prawns were clearly in a batter and therefore not gluten free. Phoned the restaurant to query this for the man on the phone to shout and ask “well why have you ordered the prawns” and didn’t answer the question we were trying to ask.

Called to tell me to pay another £2.50 on delivery despite it being very late. No call to say it was late to manage expectations and no apology for it being late. Very disappointing all round.

We live 7 mins walk away yet it took about 35 mins for the delivery to arrive after being told it was on its way Almost 2 hours from order to delivery is not acceptable, you need to give a proper indication of delivery time before an order is placed

Food was late. Called for an update to be told it was on the way after it didn’t arrive on time. Then had to wait another twenty minutes. Food was cold by the time it got here! Ordered a prawn dish with garlic and pepper , quality was poor!!! Paid £8.90 for 7 prawns on a slice of lettuce??? Was not impressed at all.

Unfortunately first and last time trying this Thai takeaway, starters were tasty, but the mains - both chow meins, special curry, chicken satay were bland and watery. Service great, but food a real downer

Food was delicious especially the Thai red curry with eggplant and the Roast Pork and Duck chow mein. Excellent food and service.

I was willing to eat Thai food since ages but it really does not put up to standard. We had ordered a take way recently, it was cold and tasteless. Food was off and it was not fresh. We expected more. Really disappointing!

Delicious Thai food that was delivered earlier than expected. Food was still piping hot. The menu selection is great and the quality of the food is excellent.

I would like someone to get in contact with me to please issue a full refund for the above order - the restaurant taken 1 hour and 45 minutes for 3 items and I called the restaurant twice (once after an hour and the second time at an hour and 45 mins) to ask about the delivery time which had exceeded the time given to me by Just-eat.co.uk - this isn't the first time this has happened with this restaurant and both times I was told it was 5 minutes away and the the delivery driver was just leaving and then was refused a refund for food I didn't have. The delivery driver still attempted to deliver food at 2 hours (at which point I had already cancelled the order and requested a refund) all for the delivery driver to tell me to "be grateful" and that it was "good food" - I understand a restaurant can be busy and I have no doubt that the food was nice, but 2 hours for chips, rice and a curry to be delivered from down the road, is silly and the attitude from the delivery driver didn't help, nor did the manager of the restaurant on the other end of the phone. Please can I be contacted ASAP regarding the matter. I had tried calling Just-eat.co.uk, on the 23/04/21 at the time, but I automated phone call just kept on telling me to refer to the website and the line kept being cut. Really at a loss in what to do now, I don't think I'm being unreasonable, but it's now been 3 weeks and I've heard nothing, really disappointed by Everbright and Just Eat for such poor service and keeping money for a service that was not fulfilled properly.

Pretty good, not totally authentic, but passable. Would've liked to see chicken thigh & Thai eggplants in the green curry along with some Thai Basil. Fishcakes were a little chewy but the ribs and the duck with chilli were delicious!

Great food, good portions and piping hot on arrival. Delivery time is longer than some places but worth waiting for. Delivery estimate was accurate.

Waited 2 hours for food. Always liked the food at this restaurant, but this time even though it took 2 hours from ordering...The food was cold on arrival, chips were dried up and cold, chicken balls looked and tasted like they were sitting there a week. Will not be ordering from here again.

Food was delivered on time. Delivery driver was polite. The food was hot and delicious. The crispy chilli beef was particularly delicious.

To start with, the driver was lost, He spent more than half an hour looking for our Hotel address. When the food was delivered it was cold. I ordered a soup and a Massaman Curry. Flavour wise, the soup was OK, the Massaman curry was not authentic and also very blend and plain, I suggest to the restaurant to put a choice of the desired spice level for each item as the food overall was not very nice. For just under £20 for a soup and a curry with rice delivered cold, I am not impressed and I will not be ordering again.

Everything was piping hot and delicious as always. By far the best Chinese takeaway in the Solihull area!

Chicken in oyster sauce and the chicken green curry were very tasty. Sadly the sesame prawn toast was thin and extremely greasy. The noodles with chilli didn’t really have that much spice. I would order from them again though as the rest was lovely.

We’ve had great food in the past & left great reviews. Very disappointed the food was late & very cold. When we rang to complain was told they don’t guarantee it to be warm & what did we expect. This is a very poor response to a genuine complaint. I would never recommend Everbright again for such poor customer service. Very bad.

Just awesome, I normally have my birthday meal here and missed it because of lock down. Unfortunately I live just outside the delivery so had to collect but my it is well worth it. Food quality is excellent, taste is out of this world and my order was waiting for me when I got there to pick it up. Chicken chillies with basil is to die for. Definitely recommend.

Great set meal for 2. Seems like they were busy as order took 1hr and 20 mins for a delivery and was then 20 mins late. Food was good though so we decided it was worth the wait.

Food was over an hour late when it finally arrived it was freezing cold as it had been sitting waiting for a driver for nearly half an hour.

Food was really cold, was really late, no apology. Chargrilled chicken satay were not cooked throughout and were not chargrilled at all of had any favour at all. My sirloin steak was dry and not cooked in the sauce advertised on the menu. It was plain not cooked with no sauce or seasoning.

Very rude staff!!! Food is disgusting!!! Missed food off the order. Greasy food. No refund and very aggressive in general. I will never order agin. I would give it less stars if possible. Stay away

Had a prawn and chicken curry and a chicken and mushroom curry, sauce was quite thin, almost gravy like but was very tasty, prawns chicken was excellent, I recommend this restaurant

An email giving a collection time of 19.55 was received. Its a good thing i turned up to collect it at that time as it was all ready for me. A message came through via text 20 mins later to say it was ready for collection? I wont be using Just Eat again as it dosent say much for the freshness of a meal!!

Food is always amazing here but the real let down is always the time management. You know you will be waiting at least 30 minutes over the time the restaurant gives you. Makes no difference if you collect either. Maybe simplify the menu so can keep up with orders. Fantastic food but frustrating it takes so long

This review relates to order placed 31/12/20 but system doesn’t allow me to place a review because the restaurant cancelled my order As a regular customer to the restaurant ( when open) we have always enjoyed the high quality of food and service. This year in tier4 restrictions we decided to order a take away from the restaurant. Knowing they would be busy I placed a family order for starters, mains, sides and desserts early afternoon so it would be on their system when they opened up for business. My order was accepted and payment taken. However late evening I called Everbright to make sure it would be ready only to be advised the owner that he didn’t have my order and furthermore was unprepared to take my order over the phone. He also admitted he had switched off their online system clearly he had failed to check for orders placed in advance before doing so. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident but my daughter had a similar experience. I strongly recommend you DON’T place online orders to avoid disappointment. As a special family meal we were looking forward to our take away but by the time this issue was identified it was too late to go elsewhere.

Order from here all the time because of their great Thai curries but its ALWAYS late. It shouldn't take 2 hours to cook and deliver take-away food 1 mile up the road. When I called to ask where our food was on this occasion, he said I should collect because I don't live far away. I paid for delivery and we are self-isolating so can't leave home, but thanks for the understanding (no understanding) Sad to say we won't be ordering from here again. At a time where customer service is key to keeping small businesses going, I found it shocking and inconsiderate the way I was spoken to as a loyal customer of over 10 years. Unbelievable!

It wasn't even a busy day also I ordered an hour previous but the food was very late and cold. I called up to see what happened, no apology just trying to tell me to reheat my food and if I find it difficult to heat my food it is no their problem. I didn't pay for cold food or for this to be reheated. I am sure if they were customer they would not accept this either.

Time to stop using, despite usually ok food, it was all cold and took 2.5 hours to arrive even with 2 phone calls chasing. Not the 1st time this has happened so need to use somewhere else
