not enough space to tell you of the awful food , never tasted anything like it in my life nothing like chinese or thai i hope i never taste anything like again two different dishes looked the same and were tasteless thai curry was slop full of coriander

Had Chop and Wok several times from the Erdington restaurant which was amazing. This was less than mediocre. The prawns were not king prawns and the flavour was lacking. Wholly unimpressed

just an ok meal. not much chicken in curry and wrong crackers sent, not bad food but not great eirher

delivery driver was extremely rude swore at me because I said I didn’t hear the bell ring. he left before . we called to complain and an hour later food was re delivered. the food was tasteless . my prawn dish had only a few pieces of tiny prawns. wouldn’t recommend terrible place

Chicken katsu curry was awful, basically just a chicken fillet out of a burger and the gravy was like water, absolutely disgusting had to throw it away

The food was delivered on time and tasted ok... One of the meals were missing unfortunately. The restaurant did hurry to deliver the 2nd one but by then we had shared the other meals that had arrived and the late one was never eaten

Probably one of the worst take aways I’ve ever had, and easily the worst Katsu curry I’ve ever tasted, mainly due to the ‘curry sauce’, which was basically like dirty dish water. Also for £3 you’d expect a lot more crackers but to be honest they were pretty horrid too.

I called to ask if my food would really take as long as 1hr 15mins and the lady on the phone said she would try her best to deliver it quicker and within 20/30 mins it was delivered - thankyou so much!

I thought some of these reviews were unfair but they really aren’t. This is not oriental or Chinese or Thai cuisine by any stretch of the imagination. Box of stodge dripping in sauce with pre prepared meat. Ordered the beef and it tasted like it had been cooked 3 days ago, and not only that cooked to oblivion, rubbery chewy rubbish. Could stomach more than three mouthfuls. Please avoid this stupid excuse for an “oriental” takeaway

Although the food came early and was hot, tasty and fresh, one order was wrong, we ordered rice and instead we got noodles. The delivery not was also not acknowledged.

really disappointed with the miso soup. the Korean chicken wings and Vietnamese prawn crackers were really nice but the miso soup was dishwater. also it was packaged in a leaking cardboard box, meaning most of it was in the carrier bag it was delivered in and had to be thrown away. I’ve had better pot noodles to be honest

The mail dish Fiery Tiger Prawns & Rice Stir Fry, was far to spicy, even more than fiery, and was too wet for a stir fry. However it was tasty.

Ordered noodles and a number of starters. Was not worth the money. The noodles were drenched in so much sauce, they were black. The starters were cold and very small portions. We will not be ordering from here again.

Great delivery time came earlier than said however the spice of the food was way toooooo hot. Could have been advertised with chillies just to state how hot it is.My husband had spicey black bean sauce he had one mouthful and left the rest..... total meal was a waste of money😏 shrimp toast was way to look greasy. Ordered for a family of four. A poxy amount of food came. Chicken rice burnt to a crisp. Thai red curry was watery, bland and soggy. All for the cheap price of forty odd quid. Much much better and cheaper chinese restaurants in the area.

dirty,meat inedible,what was edible tasted like salt,sick for three days after,friend of mine had similar experience so this is not a one off,order was wrong,staff could not care less, do yourself the biggest favour and stay away,i have nothing positive to say about this place and trust me I am being really polite here.

How is it possible that the food quality and taste at this place continues to drop and yet this place is still open?!! The driver was late and the the food arrived cold!. Not sure whether the temperature of the food would have helped the taste anyway... Never ever ordering from this place again! waste of money!

Terrible, the Spicy Tofu dish had...no Tofu...the kids chicken chow mein was horrible black noodles with bits of tasteless chicken. It was awful taste the kids threw it in the bin. We did not enjoy so will never order from here again.

Wish I'd read the reviews. Soup was basically a stock cube in water with some dry noodles and fatty chicken dumped in for £6. Didn't have tempura vegetables (so no vegetables??) so replaced with dumplings and spring rolls. Miso soup made no mention of having an egg in it and came with half a boiled egg. Just all round expensive awful food. Spend your money somewhere else.

This is the probably my favourite restraunt and if I could i would eat here every day for the rest of my life.

Have ordered from here a number of times for work lunches. Food always delivered hot and on time. Have regularly put through large orders but have never had any issues. Really nice food and good value

I am still awaiting my refund after they sent the wrong meal. (I received chicken instead of beef). I called straight away to ask for a refund and the guy didn’t understand me for ages. When he finally did and he admitted he sent the wrong meal he asked me to contact Just Eat for my refund. I will not be ordering from here again.

We ordered chop and wok and it never fails to disapoint the menu has loads of variety and you can amend or add to your order online with great ease. The food is beautifully cooked fresh and just full of flavour. Would definitely recommend and go again. Comes in cute little boxs and you get loads for your money!!!! I want another one now

Just awful. the shrimp toast didn't taste of anything & was oily & the fish cakes were average. the mains were awful. basmati rice is not the right rice for this dish. it was all mushed together but the rice tasted uncooked. the flavours were terrible. the cumin noodles were also horrible & the beef so dry it was inedible. ended up in the bin & we had to order something else. by the time we actually ate it was aftee 9pm. never again

The tiger prawn & rice stir fry diidnt taste great and had a soggy layer of oil below. The prawns though were good quality. The Egg & Chicken fried rice was also so so,and nothing exceptional. Net, i think i will give Chop & Wok a miss next time i order and order from someone else.

Changed the time of the delivery only once that time had passed, still could not deliver at that time and was a further 15 minutes late. When I called up asking where the food was, the restaurant they just said on the way. When the food was eventually delivered, the delivery driver asked for my name and handed the food over and walked off before I could say a word.

Blizzard weather (#BeastFromTheEast) increased the expected delivery time by half an hour, which was to be expected. Food was still hot & flavoursome as expected.

Vile, the food was disgusting, obviously reheated and cooked with other orders. And the guy from the restaurant had the cheek to ring me before the food was even cooked and asked me to tip the driver. Will never order from here again, food went in the bin where it belongs!

Awful. we have made a complaint to the head office regarding the food. the Katsu curry was the worst thing I’ve ever been given and to be charged nearly £8 for it is disgusting. Chewy piece of chicken on a bed of white rice in a clear takeaway container (no elegant bowl as per the website). Also the sauce was desperate and it was the consistency of water with a little curry powered thrown into it. Watery wet chicken with rice. No thank you. I shall take the complaint as far as I need to to get a refund. I shall never order from them again.

I highly reccommend Chop and Wok, the options on the menu cater for healthy eaters, gym goers or just for general quick comfort food, all of it tastes great and is prepared quickly and in front of you.

I’m not one to leave a bad review but I essentially just spent £15 on a bottle of coke and boiled rice because the rest of my order was inedible. I got the Katsu curry and edamame. The chicken was dry and the sauce tasted like gravy with the texture of water with some veg floating in it. The edamame was drenched in a red sauce that was too overwhelming so I couldn’t eat them either. The restaurant advertises how healthy the options are and how little calories you intake and I assume this is because you won’t be able to eat the food that’s given to you. The food arrived 15mins early so no issues with delivery time and it was relatively hot I just wish I’d read the reviews before ordering.

I will never eat from chop n wok again, absolutely vile. If you like your noodles dripping with grease and the taste of bovril all over your noodles then it’s for you but almost £60 spent on separate orders for it to arrive and all of us very disappointed. Won’t be using it again in fact never again.

I had decided to try this place for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Waited around 10 mins but when the food came it was piping hot and very tasty! Portions are very big and I had left overs for dinner. The meal deal is very good value with the prawn crackers and drink included in the price. I had the chow mein with duck and prawns and was very good. Been a couple times since and will visit again!

Worst experience with a restaurant ever. I should have read the reviews before placing an order. We have now waited over 3 hours for our order, and after ringing up several times were told repeatedly that the delivery driver just picked it up and should be with us soon. It has yet to arrive!

Don't recommend, wasn't very nice. Had a katsu chicken curry, the one you do in the microwave from Tescos tastes 10x better. Delivery time was extended by 20mins and the food was lukewarm when it arrived.

The delivery time was really quick and I was surprised that the food arrived half an hour early. The food was piping hot and tasted delicious. The delivery man did forget to put my drink with my order and it must have been with the other orders. However, I noticed right away and called him to let him know that my drink was missing. He came back within a minute with my drink and apologised. Great service so far.

Ordered 3rd time but quality is going down and down, will not try again!

Call handler was not obliging in rectifying the mistake he made by giving any compensation for his mistake, instead I had to suggest what will he do as a compensation otherwise it would have been "sorry but please come again " type of attitude

I ordered the wok stir fry which states that it has ‘onions, peppers, carrots, red cabbage & bean sprouts’ NONE of those vegetables were in my stir fry! Just a few bean sprouts. It was absolutely DRENCHED in sauce so much so that it was like soup with noodles. It was very overpowering. I paid extra for mushrooms. There was not one mushroom in my noodles. I paid 50 p extra for buckwheat noodles. The guy called me to tell me they do not have buckwheat noodles....but it’s already been charged to my card. I paid £23 for noodles, duck rolls and fish cakes that arrived after an hour and a half freezing cold. Extremely disappointed. I will never order from this place again.

Paid £8 for a 'Katsu Curry - which as stated on THEIR menu: panko coated chicken with sauce' I got a box of rice with 4 pieces of satay chicken with a separate box of disgusting watery soup which they called 'katsu curry'. The chef then tried to justify it by saying 'that's how we make it' - mate, dont state it on your menu that you get something else they clearly dont know how to make then!! When I asked to have something else sent, the chef demanded the food back untouched. They have just lost a very loyal customer as I used to order with these guys all the time on a regular basis.

Ordered at 13:08, restaurant put the delivery back to 14:25 - joke number 1. Called at 14:35, ‘it’s just been cooked and we’re waiting for it to be picked up’. I’m then asked if ‘I’m happy with that’ - joke number 2 Delivered just before 15:00 - joke number 3. Katsu was not katsu curry and tasted woeful, two measly pieces of fried chicken. Will not be ordering again.

rang up restaurant, after waiting an hour and half for them too tell me it’s going to be another 45-60 minutes till the driver gets back to deliver my food. 3 hours for cold food? ridiculous.

I was notified they did not have the noodles I ordered, which was fine I chose an alternative they then advised I needed to tip the delivery driver a few pounds due to the snow. First of all, this is cheeky, if someone is going to tip it should be their decision to do so, I did not have change however I doubt I would have tipped after waiting close to two hours for a 5 min drive down the road - yes there was snow but I live just off Olton Road & the short distance of the Stratford Road were absolutely fine as they are main roads & I had walked down them earlier on in the evening. I called up several times & was just lied to. I advised to cancel my order as by this point id waited 1 hour 40 mins & just wanted to go to bed, I wasn't really advised how I go about a refund just 'speak with just eat' after having to ask myself. 5 mins later it turned up, I ate it the following day for lunch as was way too late for dinner, it was nice. However I'd also paid £2 for two of the tiniest cartons of Ribena & only one was delivered.

Yuk! Filthy shop, rude staff, vile food. I had a voucher, which wasn’t free, but I was treated like a second class citizen as I had a voucher. My first visit so asked how it worked. Staff member was rude and abrupt explaining the process and seemed annoyed that I didn’t know. Deffo not interested in my custom or wanting me to return. Shop is proper filthy. All the glass and plastic is dirty. Everything is sticky. I didn’t even want to put my bag down! Thank goodness I wasn’t eating in. After querying the voucher for the umpteenth time, I wasn’t given my drinks which were included. Food absolutely dreadful. Too greasy, rubbish presentation. Tasteless. Served in a dirty box. Very little meat or veg. I paid £1 extra for mushrooms and I think they put one tiny mushroom in. Put it in the bin when I got home. AVOID!

The noodles we ordered were overcooked and they were falling appart. The vegetables were almost non-existent and overcooked. Everything was covered in a lot of brown sauce. Contacted them through the website as i didn't feel like getting more angry by talking to them but they only said to contact them later because they are very busy. So to be avoided

Highly recommend the gluten free wok box it is also dairy free which for someone like me with a lot of food intolerances finding a restaurant that caters is amazing! they were excellent and very kind in dealing with requests. Absolutely delicious and will order again in the future for sure!

Card fee of 50p for using my debit card. Not good. Food was bad for £15.40. We’re ordered food from there before and that was great. But not this time!!!!

The delivery driver communicated in sign language which was a lovely surprise after he asked me whether I was deaf. He said his wife is deaf hence. The food came a bit early which was good, and the size of the portions were on the large side which was great. Expect more orders going in the direction of Chop & Wok :-)

food was alright. seafood platter was lukewarm and had sweated a fair bit in the box so not very crisp. noodles with duck and plum sauce was pleasant but adding water chestnuts and baby corn made it almost nine quid which was over priced.

Only order from here if you want some of your order to arrive and if you want some of it to arrive 50 minutes late! Then when you get your refund you only get some of it back.
