Two trips to TBP so far and both of them have been amazing in all aspects. An incredible menu which is regularly updated, including amazing vegan options! The service, atmosphere and everything else has also been fantastic both times.

Came in on Easter Sunday with my son for a birthday meal, the gentleman who I didn’t catch his name did look like a manager tho, was absolutely amazing the staff are just amazing the food well!! OMG wow just absolutely incredible and I shall be bringing my brother here in June for his Birthday meal this place is a solid 10/10 even sang happy birthday when bringing my dessert out 😊 thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolutely top notch food served with precise attention to detail. Individual flavours are distinctive in plentiful proportions. I'd certainly recommend the ALOO GOSHT MIRCH to anyone. A suttle dish to begin with... tender Lamb and fresh potatoe that allows a kick of warmth to end this delight. It is slightly hot...but great! Quick service, and helpful staff. Cocktails are also splendid. The night starts well... and I'd look to book for next time, and very soon I feel.

Found this restaurant purely by chance whilst strolling around the area after checking into our hotel Had a wonderful meal. I had three meats (two types of pork and chicken with egg fried rice and salad. My wife had a special noodle dish with crab meat. Everything was delicious. We both had the special cocktail. Overall price was less than £60.

Wow this place is a little hidden gem. The stuff are really nice and friendly and the food is amazing. Best fish and chips in town

Went here with some mates. The beer was flat so had to have it replaced and the mixed grill was disappointing. The tandoori chicken tastes like it was made earlier and warmed up in the microwave, dry and hard. Also had to ask for salad and additional sauces, most places give you bottles and salad as included but we were charged for a plate of salad that came out towards the end of the meal. Would not visit this place again. The place was empty on a Saturday night. The butter chicken was definitely not butter chicken, just some random generic sauce with dry chicken pieces in it.

I didn’t even get food. I came to use the bathroom and asked the blonde girl behind the bar if I could and she looked at me and said you’re not allowed to really aggressively but allowed my girlfriend to go through. I’m just really surprised the way she spoke to me and thought it was very aggressive and not very professional.

This is the 2nd year I was visiting Birmingham, and Topokki. I absolutely loved their homemade food and ambiance, but this year I was highly disappointed by the staff. The waiter literally bullied a friend of mine when entering the restaurant to book a table and eat. We were so looking forward to it when the waiter just unwelcomed my veiled friend. "Are you aware all our meat is not Halal?" I will eat vegetarian. "All our food is cooked with alcohol!!!" 😳 Really?! All of it?! Edamame, gyozas and the rest of it! Come on! I still insisted to be seated because we are not to be bullied when walking into a restaurant but my friend felt unwelcome and left to find the Vietnamese round the corner welcoming us and being very friendly!
