The best restaurants serving Asian food in West Midlands

Food cold. This was after waiting 20 minutes. I did complain but I would have to wait for a new meal so just had chips. The desert was good.

The food we had, tasted was nothing like what we ordered. It was a different colour, far too much of one spice which did not blend in with rest of the other ingredients. It was pretty awful and so needless to say we will not be visiting again.

Does anybody know if this, one time ‘flagship’ restaurant will open again? All new Bangladeshi restaurants were judged against the Bengal.

I ordered a takeaway from these i must honestly say it was out of this world really nice great value best food I've had in a long time

Today we had a uber eats delivery. The food was terrible. Ordered chicken tikka wrap large and sheesh. Had three small pieces in and nothing else. Rice was hard and congealed so not really edible. Chicken tika masala was foul. Nothing tika about it. Chicken was gristle and just disgusting. Awful place to eat and a waste of £35. Avoid! Disgusting

My wife and daughter drove to fetch a take away from here when they got home my lamb and rice was stone cold . Everyone else had hot and warm food . I think mine had been cooked before we ordered and got out the fridge or something. It was so cold it I was unable to eat it but it’s a 15 min drive back into town and they took such a long time to get the order I would be eating it for breakfast rather than tea . I’m never going back here again

En primer lugar la comida y específicamente las samosas son geniales y auténticas. ¿Por qué no voy a volver allí? He estado visitando este establecimiento desde que abrieron, creo que más de 10 años y he tenido suficiente del servicio al cliente aquí. El dueño Punjabi (tipo con turbante y barba) es simplemente grosero desde que fui allí por primera vez. Yo también soy asiático y hablo el idioma, así que no se cruzan los cables. cuando compras algo se aferra a la bolsa y no lo deja ir hasta que el dinero está en su mano, como si fueras a salir corriendo con sus samosas. Él sabe que soy un cliente regular durante 10 años, pero todavía hace esto y siempre me ha irritado, en ningún lugar he estado que hace esto, y mucho menos en algún lugar al que he estado yendo los últimos 10 años. Él siempre está gruñón y la última vez que fui, básicamente comenzó a casi gritarme y trató de avergonzarme frente a otros clientes que los miraban y agitaban la cabeza. Todo porque había pedido 2 pedidos separados por teléfono y les dije que iba a pagar por ellos individualmente, esto fue pre-reservado y explicado por teléfono antes de llegar. También le pregunté si esto estaba bien y la señora dijo por supuesto. Le di para qué y luego sonrió al saber que había superado el límite conmigo. He prometido a mi familia que no volveré y escribiría una reseña ya que esto no es una excepción. El comportamiento grosero y una mala actitud hacia la gente no es el camino Sikhi. Puedes parecer piadoso y religioso, pero si no eres un buen ser humano y grosero con tus semejantes y clientes, ¿cuál es el punto? El otro personal que me ha servido parece estar bien, pero al propietario me temo que ha perdido cualquier negocio de mí o mi familia. Ahora voy a comida punjabi o al Standard Sweet Centre.

Visited the restaurant after a long time and could clearly feel the atmosphere was different. The waiter service was slow, the place looked dark with its new decor. The food especially the lamb chops had no flavour. They were dry, hard and it felt like they had been reheated. Shame to see the place gone down.

The food was nice! Mine was a bit bland but quality was good and the meat was tender. I would order again!

Nice place to eat at when visiting star city really great service from maryam she was very quick and helpful.

Charsi Karahi is the one to go for! Charsi Chops are juicy and flavourful Could do with a few more heaters

Food was average at best. Mild and oily madras and jalfrezi. Delivery took 1hr 45mins after being told 30 to 40mins at order. We are very busy they said 🤷‍♂️

The best veg samosas and veg pakoras ever!

Food was really good. Recommend the chicken tikka masala. Very tasty and enjoyable. Would use again.

Quick friendly service, we're visiting the area and fancied a take out Chinese. There was plenty of food and the crispy prawns the best we'd had. We had to wait as we'd arrived early but the staff were talkative and very polite- I wish we lived nearer.
