Have been coming for a few years and have never been disappointed. We have tried different things over the years and everything has been great. Service is friendly too.

Food is marvelous hear always tasty, fresh n home made from samosas, pakoras, spring rolls to jalebis and mitai, gulab jamaan.

I have been eating from this place since it opened and thought I would rate it. If you're looking for authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine, then this is the place to go. It does not have all the frills and extras you might want or even expect in a place, but it does the food right - and that is the main thing! Keep doing what you do!

Extremely disappointed, have been coming here for years and must have spent hundreds of pounds at this place. Ordered the usual vegan pizza which was given to us burnt to the point of inedibility, so rang up to politely ask if they'd replace it and after some indecernible mumbling from the owner he simply said 'Sorry!' and swiftly hung up. Goes without saying that I wont be buying from here again. Appalling customer service!

Came here to collect a order of samosas and pizza all fresh and everyone at work loved the food especially the samosas. The samosas wasn't greasy like other places and the filling was gorgeous loved the taste. Have recommended a few people who enjoyed the pizzas as well as the samosas. Its a shame no delivery but good thing I'm local. Very happy thanks for the order. Would like to try other pizza in future.

If you like Indian curries and in particular vegetarian, then you will enjoy this restaurant. Panjabi Hut is authentic food. If you are going for the first time then try thaali, samosa or any of their chat items. I would also recommend Chole Batturey. Batturey's are well fermented and hence a delight to eat it when served hot. We have been there on multiple occasions. We have thoroughly enjoyed each time. I haven't tried their pizzas and hence cannot comment. I haven't tried takeaways and hence cannot comment on that.

Food is always fresh and delicious, definitely our go to for the best samosas in the city. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty vegetarian food.

This is down a back street. It's worth the drive. Lovely veggie Indian food. Very cheap. Nice and fresh

Delicious vegan and vegetarian spot!! I’m not usually one to be adventurous with food but cannot fault this place at all. Went in an ordered take out from a huge menu of choices. Only slight negative is we weren’t a fan of the sweets but that’s just preference. Ranked highly on our take out list!

Went there on a recommendation from a facebook group and what a surprise. The offerings are: Indian vegetarian and vegan options; pizza and traditional Indian sweets with lots of Vegan options. We ordered more than we could eat in one sitting which was great because I had tasty snacks for the next two days. I also couldn't resist a box of Vegan sweets as well. I found the flavours amazing, what I would call authentic and fresh home cooking. I do cook extremely good Indian food at home, but this restaurant has almost made me wonder why I bother. Am trying to find the next excuse to go there - it is about half an hour from home but worth it.

The last time I came here I asked the guy in the turban how much something was. He asked me if I was blind! How rude. I then made an error to call and order some samosas today. The woman couldn't understand a word of English then rudely put me on to another lady whom i had to explain what I wanted only to be told they will be closed..awful service given to non Sikhs. They are so rude and stuck in the dark ages. Horrible racist people. Would never get thie service at Standard sweet centre.

I have regular food from this place and never been dicipoint, simply the best , pitza not sure, it's good for Big an too

I've been to Punjabi hut twice now. If I didn't live so far away I would go all the time. They serve truly authentic Indian food. Most of the food is vegan and is labelled as such on the menu. The chole batura is amazing! I don't know how they get those chickpeas so soft. The rajma is delicious and mahan di dal melts in your mouth.

I've been here a few times now and here's what I think; The food is on the whole genuine Indian (desi) food. I've tried a fair few dishes on the menu and have no reason to grumble. They not only serve Indian food but you can also get pizzas chips etc too. My only small moan, would be that the interior could do with a little updating but otherwise it's definitely not a bad place at all for a reasonably priced meal.

Plenty of vegan options here and a venue recommended by "Coventry Vegans." I first made a call asking about the veggie burgers and I was told that they could make them vegan, so we ordered two vegan burgers and chips. When we arrived we discovered a little aladdins cave! Lots of fresh, chilled and hot vegan options available at REALLY GOOD prices. A venue we will definitely be returning to!! Thank you! Five-stars for being so vegan friendly!

Después de leer las críticas anteriores, estaba un poco indeciso de visitar este lugar, pero después de ver el menú y sin duda el tipo de comida que me encanta comer. Mi marido y yo pasamos aquí la semana pasada y debo decir que la comida estaba más allá de mis expectativas. Usted Aloo Tikki optamos, gol gappe para empezar, seguido por Aloo Paratha Boondi, y dos que contengan Raita Thalis, Aloo Gobhi Daal, yogur y dos rotis tandoor. La comida era deliciosa, decidimos también tienen para llevar y sus preparados exclusivamente con leche Barfi Buffalo.

Decepcionado! Pedimos una pizza vegetariana cuando mi pizza llegó estaba claro la pizza no había sido hecha! ! Era cálido y no como acababa de salir de un horno. Compré esta dos veces y el mismo en ambas ocasiones? Por qué comprobar cocinar sus pizzas y luego sólo les calentarse cuando la gente la orden. Gran lista de opciones veganas sólo molesto que no hacen ellos frescos como usted tienen una gran selección para veganos!

Este restaurante es uno de los mejores lugares para comer en Coventry. La comida es fantástica y muy auténtico. El dueño era muy agradable ya que nos dejó probar algunos de los dulces y él también nos dio un descuento sin razón particular. Es un lugar que debes visitar

Pagamos una visita hoy tras una palabra de la recomendación de boca. Es la mejor comida india que he tenido. prevalece mucho y bastante diferente para llevar/restaurante común. Estoy de acuerdo con el comentario sobre el dueño de una crítica anterior. El caballero que nos servía era amable, cortés y nos dio algunas muestras dulces libres para ayudarnos a elegir lo que queríamos tomar. merece la pena pedir con antelación si quieres algo del menú completo como supongo que sólo tienen un número limitado de platos preparados listos para los clientes diarios.

Awful experience which ought to be shared. Ordered food, chips were cold, waiter took the chips around the back and 2 minutes later returned. It was obvious they had been re-heated in the microwave. Still cold! The waiter then began remonstrating that the chips were...

This was just as great as the first time. I absolutely adore their vegetarian Pizzas, and their traditional Panjabi food leaves you begging for more

Don't go on the overall looks of the restaurant, as the North Indian food what they serve is superb, homelike and authentic unlike others...its not as posh as a fine dining restaurant but its decent...u can also enjoy the famous North Indian sweets as well...n lastly, one of the few only veg. places in Coventry

THIS IS AWESOME! Everything I ordered was quality Indian food, look no further for a well priced taste bud adventure...

Just been for lunch this afternoon to this restaurant which was quite busy in takeaways and a few tables occupied and several dirty plates and cutlery not been cleared from the tables.We were just three and ordered about five to six different items from the menu.Waited for nearly 35 minutes and when the food was served it was cold and the parrot has and chappati cold had to send it back and wait for a further 15 minutes before we were served again.The tables were dirty and nobody bothered to clean them up and remove the other dirty plates and cutlery.Food was okay eventually when it came out hot but to be fair they need more staff and pull up their socks on the hygiene and cleanliness .Would not go again unless untill been assured they have sorted these simple issues.

Never knew this place existed until we recently heard about it from one one our friends.It is a veggie restaurant on Clay Lane, Coventry and they have amazing choice of Indian snacks, curries, wraps, sweets and Pizza. They also do vegan dishes. Last weekend we had Aloo Paratha and Samosa from here. It tasted fantastic. You guys should definitely try this place out. You'll surely love the food here.
