The food was cold, we had to reheat it! It was greasy and way too salty ! This place has gone down hill! The meat was not as good as previous either ! Very chewy! We threw most of it away

Middle aged women serving on council absolutely miserable, no greetings no welcoming and she even calls us to collect food from counter! Awful service!

Their laddu used be to be delicious. It tastes bad now. Laddu made with an old used oil.

We had samosa chat Mango lassi and veg pakora, didn’t enjoy at all. Couldn’t able to finish even 1 pakora out of 4. Lassi was just mixture of water. It made us realise that Don’t judge book by its cover. Seems very good from outside but the food is the worst.

All food is very old. Gol gappay Chana chat Methai everything is old. No taste at all. Everything can’t even eat. Very bad experience Never try again

really disappointed. The Samosas were really greasy, the tamarind sauce that accompanies them was nothing like the one you get in the day time as a walk in customer. The lamb balti was nice but the chicken tikka masala and the chicken curry were abismol. My daughter couldn't eat the tikka masala as it was too spicy and too salty. Hardly any chicken in the chicken curry. Really not impressed and won't be ordering from here again

Ordered a load of lamb & veg samosas and veg pakoras for my daughters 21st birthday party and they went down a storm! Everyone loved them and at least 5 people descibed them to me as 'banging'! Would definitely order again 👍

There was no chutney with the order. When I collect my orders there is always chutney with my food.

Took out some sweets one couple of occasions. Both times the sweets were stale. Badhusha, ladoos were not fresh and tasted very average. Kaju katli was ok. Spring rolls and samosas were good though, but very disappointed with the sweets.

Went about 2 pm yesterday. Service better No point upgrading look inside if food has deteriorated. Went for papri chaat. AWFUL!!! The imlie chutney was all brown water poured on - no taste no seasoning . Less than teaspoon of yoghurt . Papri was very stale and very hard. I had about three spoonfuls. It looked like my dog had been sick ! Disgusting. I did tell the woman that served me it was awful . She apologised. I passed her the dog sick. Sad to see how far the business has sunk . Not bothered with standards anymore. Shame - it used to be so lovely. Standard Stale Foods Don’t waste ur money.

Everything perfectly cooked as usual

I have been eating food from Standard Sweet Centre for over 30 years. Don't know what has happened recently but food isn't the same. Keema has gone down hill and I decided to try a Bhatura bread - never heard of it before. Rest assured I will not be ordering it again - akin to some water and flour my 3 year old grandaughter would produce. Standard was always a 10 out of 10for me but not anymore sadly.

The order was 1 hour and 25 minutes late for a birthday celebration. I would not order through just eat again.

Samosa pastry was a bit hard to bite into. Purchased some imli chutney for 40p but ended up with a little pot..was only enough for 1 person. I will still be ordering from here in the future.

Have been using this establishment for many years. The quality and taste of the food on offer is consistently of a good standard. This is always my go to takeaway whether it is to purchase food for me, family, friends and relatives. Well worth a visit if you want to taste authentic Punjabi food!

I’m sorry but your curries are awful the chicken tikka masala tastes like an Italian tomato dish Chick saag is the saltiest thing I’ve ever eaten absolutely horrible but your samosas kebabs spring rolls are excellent please stick to this rather than these terrible so called curries as it is a real disappointment I won’t ever order curries again but would have samosas ect

Always visit this place when I'm in Coventry. They do the BEST rasmali! Been using them as long as I can remember. They'd just had a refit so it looked fresh.

Order not got delivered and app is showing order delivered. That’s so rude and in professional.

Usually exceptional delivery and service but unfortunately last night delivery was 40 mins late and they had incorrectly marked the bags, which could have upset a vegetarian, if they had taken a bite of a lamb samosa.

Went to take food Very bad customer service and food quality not up to the mark -1 our of 5 Star. Not recommended at all . Not a taste of Punjabi restaurant. By putting a name standard will not improve your standards and need quality and good customer service.

Nice place. Went and bought Lamb, Chicken and Veg Samosas. Pastry is amazing, very nice and a great crunch to them. Veg had a lovely heat to them. Lamb and Chicken are somewhat lacking in flavour but overall still great and will try other menu options from here.

If you want great traditional food, Standard is the place to get it.

Lovely Samosa would order again. 2 x seekh kebabs. Terrible, rock solid, I could have hammered in a nail with them. Had to bin them.

Today was the first time ever I've had a bad meal from here. The Daal was swimming in grease, the chicken curry tasted of vinegar and the chapatti tasted like they'd been reheated time and time again and were cold.

Tasty and authentic food, we ordered vegetable, lamb and chicken samosas, all of which were extremely tasty. Staff were super friendly and service was very quick! Would highly recommend :)

To be honest the food was really bad. I feel its like a waste of money. I ordered samosa and lamb curry. Lamb curry was icecold and felt like it was directly from fridge. I ordered rasamalai and when i ate it i was shocked. It was literally rasagulla dipped in some milk. How can they sell those poor quality stuff. Really its not worth it.. Additionaly, staff was very rude and felt like they are pushing to make me order. Bad customer service. I wont recomend anyone to this shop

The sweets available are good and reasonably priced. I tried the vegetable samosa, which was delicious, while the chicken samosa was just average.

I ordered some samosas and some lassi from here. The samosas were great. But the lassi was super watery, possibly the worst lassi I’ve ever had. It ruined the whole experience. I’ve been here before and the lassi used to be top notch. I’m not sure why it was so bad this time

Horrible experience we’ve ever had in there won’t be going back there at all, really loud noisy because they had few guys fixing the toilet!! The new girl was trainee didn’t have a clue whatsoever took 20min to get our order order ready !! Food was horrible, not fresh, samosa’s were greasy and disgusting!! They don’t bring the food over either, shout you over instead!! Sort it out sweet centre!!!

All of my food other then the actual curry was stone cold , the so called chicken samosas had no chicken in them was disgustingly dry and hard! The sheikh kebabs looks days old and all dried up the bread again was cold and dry. Worst 30 pounds we have ever spent ! Avoid at all costs.

Food is great but no one available on counter to take order. Everyone is busy in making order. You should assign one person for only taking order. We stand for so long for just placing an order and no one on counter taking order.

The chicken and sauce was very salty and this overpowered the flavour of the meal. The naan bread has a strange processed texture which I have never had before with this Bread. I will not order from them again

The food that I ordered was not the food that was delivered and when complaints were made to the restaurant I was told next time I will be compensated for their mistake. So nothing was done!

Ordered a lamb curry and all it consists of is curry sauce and 4 miniscule pieces of lamb.

Order chole bhature. Bhature was like cardboard

Delivery has been taken to the wrong address. From that wrong address to my address it took over 40 minutes. Regardless, how long it took to go to the wrong address. Also the bag was open. Food got cold. I have received 3 Samosa less than that I have ordered. I am so angry.

Great tasting authentic Indian food

Bought moti choor ladoo on Eid day for a relative. When I ate them they were hard and not fresh at all. Felt really embarrassed.
