I ordered a takeaway from these i must honestly say it was out of this world really nice great value best food I've had in a long time

Absolutely disgusting meal this week, the chicken was sour & the chicken pilau rice was swimming in grease, I contacted them & because I wrote a bad review in which it’s my right to being a paying customer your so called manager started verbally abusing me over the phone & was shouting at me, he basically said to me go away, I’m so shocked & this made me cry, how can you be so horrible, bullying people I’m sorry does not get you anywhere, please people be aware as I will not be ever having a meal from them ever again. Shame on you Rucci Indian Takeaway 😡😡😡😡

Worst indian I've had.. gone down hill

Good food but a few issues. All meals were tasty but...1. Ordering online informed me that I was too far away for delivery (I wasn't) 2.Order arrived without poppadoms that were ordered 3. I recieved a Text to say order was accepted but no further text to say it was ready.

Ive never had a problem when ordered from here in the past however last night I waited ages for my food the delivery lady was very apologetic so understood they was busy and let it go however the rice was cold the mint sauce was like water then to top it of I found a hair running through my nan bread as I bit in to it. so after waiting for ages the food was terrible such a shame.

Well all my years of having currys ... Rucci you are No 1 . The food is stunning Your customer service for a restaurant I'd the best I've ever seen . Thank you.

First time I’ve used Rucci 4 a while cuz I prefer to sit down in a restaurant rather than take away but I tried the lamb jalfrezi last night & it was very nice, I will be back next week !

Real shame. Like the food here but they delivered 30 mins late (but should say usually early), and when they did deliver it it was missing a main. That means my wife and I had to eat separately, plus my wife had to reheat her chips and rice. Shame really, struggling to find an Indian Take Away that is consistently good. We start using Rucci as Rugeley Spice had let us down a few times. Time to get the cook books out I think... I wouldn't say avoid, the food is nice, but it's probably best to go and pick up to ensure you get what you order.

Was recommended the Rucci yesterday by a friend. So gave it a try. Ordered on their website at 7pm to be delivered at 8pm. Rang at 820 to make sure they had got my order. They said 'ermmmmmm' and after much deliberation said yes. Then said it will be another half an hr. Rang them back at 905pm and they said oh it will be another 25 mins. So i said cancel. Dissappointed but wont try again. Really if they were struggling as they have suggested in their reply to my original post, they shouldnt have taken my order or explained that they were having difficulties so i could choose to either wait or cancel my order. Eating at 945pm after going elsewhere isnt what I chose to do (having ordered at 7 for 8pm delivery) and sadly they didnt allow me to choose. Went to Rugeley Spice in the end. Was very nice.

Avoid this place at all costs, my Mom and Dad ordered food and it never turned up, lied too over the phone about time of delivery, AVOID AT ALL COST ......

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID ......Take the money promise you the world and DO NOT DELIVER YOUR FOOD but take money off you and refuse to refund you ........Absolute Jokers

If this New Years Eve wasn't dire enough, having to stay in we decided to use Rucci to cheer us up. Preplanned went online ordered, paid for food 17:40.courtesy chase 1.5 hours later, firstly told hasn't the driver delivered yet!,then straight after told that our order was now been cooked. Rang again 40 minutes later told 15 minutes to delivery.Called again 30 minutes later, told that it was going to be at least another 30 minutes on top. 21:00 no food, totally ruined our evening & left starving as we'd both had had a drink & had lost the will to cook.

Ordered in good faith as you opened, paid on line, all we've had since was lip service, a pack of lies regarding the status of our order & no food nearly 3 hours later. Absolutely disgusted with the total disorganisation & lack of customer service. Site not recognising refund request. Not sure what's happened to this takeaway, always you'st to be good, ruined our New Year's Eve.

Food came withing the time line given over the phone. Delivery driver was pleasant. The food was a little bland and not particularly that hot if im honest, however, I did have some tandoori chicken and I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Missed items off our order. Mistakes happen, no problem at all. I wasnt even annoyed by the mistakes but I call up and the guy on the other end of the line sighs and says "cant we sort it out another time" like I'm bothering him with my problems. First and last time of ordering from this place.

We ordered two meat dishes, veg samosas, chicken bites, chips and rice. The chips and chicken bites for the kids were spot on but the curries and samosas were not (I would of expected the other way round) There wasn't alot of meat in the curry, the sauces were nice but they lacked in flavour, the Madras was all spicey and no depth of flavour. The veg samosas were the most disappointing as it was all potato with the odd pea in it, so more like a potato pie 🤔 It wasn't the worst but also wasn't the best. Everything arrived hot. It was mostly the lack of flavour that let them down.

Delicious food every time. Not had a bad meal. Only once have they got our order wrong on delivery. Best Indian in Rugeley and the staff are so polite. 5 star hygiene rating too.

First time using Rucci yesterday’ ordered 5 mains’ naans and starters’ etc all cooked perfectly’ biriyani was amazing. Very friendly staff and you can see them cooking the food will be returning

Very disappointing after using these guys a long time I will be trying somewhere different next Saturday. The amount of chicken in the portions Is very small 6 small pieces only You have sadley lost me as a customer 😔

We ordered two meat dishes and a vegetarian main. All of them were really poor. Very little meat, and what there was was very dry and chewy. The vegetable madras was mostly sauce with a few overcooked potatoes and a couple of bits of sweet corn. The rice was overcooked and dry too. Really poor. Shan’t be ordering from them again.

Awful meal. Used to be the best take away in Rugeley with friendly staff but not anymore. Do not even give free popadoms. Food and service very poor.

Do not order from here.....soggy poppadoms.....onion salad was non existent.....keema naan had barely any filling......just overall disappointing

Ordered a takeaway at 8pm on Saturday night. At 9.30 we rang to see where it was, they said it was out for delivery. As we only live 1 min away, we rang again 20 minutes later and they still said it was out for delivery. It's not 22.10, still nothing. No apologies, nothing. Terrible service, will not be using again.

Highly recommended, the staff are friendly and food is always lovely!

Authentic Indian! Buffet selection is good. Take out available. Eat on menu has variety to choose from.

Woooooo that meal was amazing I travel from Rugeley to Walsall to get my Indian food but no need any moor this as beet them by far best food I have ever tasted we’ll done lads I’m now your regular

I have been lucky enough to have travelled the world extensively and dined in some of the best restaurants. Imagine my surprise, the best Indian food is a Takeaway only 1 mile from my home. Absolutely superb quality. As a point of reference for me it even excelled the Michelin Star, Atul Kochhars London Restaurant. I kid you not. Very friendly service.

Collected a takeaway from Rucci yesterday after reading reviews on tripadvisor, this is by far the best curry I’ve had anywhere. We ordered popadoms & chutneys then chicken tikka madras and chicken jalfrezi, I couldn’t fault anything including the service which was extremely friendly and helpful I’ve travelled all over the world and try to find a decent Indian restaurant, can’t believe the best I’ve had is virtually on my doorstep Both curry’s were fresh and full of flavour, you could taste the freshness of the peppers and chillies in the Jalfrezi Will be definitely using again very soon.

I have usually ordered from other places in Rugeley but I decided to try this out .. what a surprise .. the food and price is excellent .., defo the best place in Rugeley by a mile .. totally converted and will never use another takeaway service in the area..

Have used Rucci since they opened. Never had a bad meal. Work away a lot and first thing I do when get back is order from them. Piping hot food, big portions, good prices, and the food is delicious.

We have just moved into Rugeley and we used Rucci for the first time, they delivered within the time they stated, but most important, the food was the best Indian food we had ever eaten and the staff were very friendly and polite. I can highly recommend this is the best Indian food in the area. Will certainly use again......Many Thanks Mike

What can i say about this place ... walked in one night to order a meal, and was told to go home and we will deliver when its ready. 20 mins later it came. Tasty and the best takeaway in Rugeley for customer service !!

I've been using this takeaway for some time now, so I thought it best to put finger to keyboard and write a review. Why take so long to write a review I hear you ask !! Well I thought I'd give I chance and not go by just one meal, so after eating practically everything on the menu plus added extras which I ask for I can honestly say that this is THE best takeaway in the area. I dare you to say otherwise. The chef will cook anything you want, if you fancy a masala madras hot, then no problem. If you fancy lemon chilli fried rice then no problem. Nothing is a problem for this place. If you have your food delivered it'll arrive piping hot and at the time stated. There is no complaints whatsoever so pick up the phone or pop in and see the friendly and helpful staff for your delicious meal.

The best indian takeaway in Rugeley by far , we've used this take away for probably 2 years now and never had a bad meal, staff too are so friendly an over all great takeaway

The food from this establishment is absolutely wonderful, everything is fresh and piping hot and is delivered quickly to your door or in restaurant whichever you order. Never had a bad meal yet and we use quite a lot. I am not a heavy spice lover so I cannot comment hit their hot dishes but I have had a lot of different dishes and when you ask them to not make it too hot they have always done as asked without any argument.

We have had food from here on several occasions but this time we were left feeling disappointed. We ordered and were given a delivery time but the food did not arrive until 25 minutes after that time. When we got the food it was only warm and very greasy so we did not eat it. Such a shame, hopefully it will be better next time

Food always good, this is our go to place. Best to order in advance as they actually cook the food so it takes time. Price is good too.

We use this takeaway regularly and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional and the food is delicious.

The delivery was a little late but the man who delivered it was really cheerful and friendly, it was no big deal especially as the food was truly excellent. Six of us had a superb meal in ample proportions. There were some unusual dishes and the quality was unmistakable. My daughter said her Chicken Jaipur was the best she had ever had and I felt the same about my Chicken Tikka Dhansak. We will definitely be using them again.

I have had a few work mates keep telling me about the Rucci so this weekend we decided to give it a go - we were not disappointed! I had called in earlier to pick up a menu, the takeaway is spotlessly clean and the smells from the kitchen immediately made my mouth water and i was also told that if required a delivery service was available. The menu is not massive but all your normal Indian dishes are on there including some of the chefs recommendations and signature dishes. i chose Onion bhaji and sheek kebabs as starters and chicken madras and the Rucci delight plus rice and naan. The service was prompt and friendly with the food still piping hot, where sometime takeaways arrive only just warm. I can only say that the food we were given was absolutely beautiful, tasty, loaded with melt in your mouth meat and very more-some! This was the first time we have used the Rucci but it won't be the last.
