Absolutely terrible, very watery curry which had spilled everywhere as the lids weren’t properly sealed when bagged up. Small portions and lacking flavour. Couldn’t eat and took the food back to get refused for a refund. Terrible, will not use again :(

Food was lovely and they had an offer on too so was really affordable,I did have to wait ten minutes for someone to notice I was there but it was just before 10pm so it may have been because it was late,cannot complain about the food at all and even had some freebies despite a good discount!would definitely use them again.

Not impressed at all. I ordered two curries both looked and tasted exactly the same. Nann beads were just about warm on arrival and were very dry. Overall very disappointed and shall not be ordering from here again

Placed an order online and called the restaurant to check in with the order after a 30 minute wait. The staff member who answered the phone was shockingly rude. Told me they didn’t have my order even after providing the order number. I was called a liar and he hung up the phone on me. I called again and said I would go to the restaurant to provide the order number and show proof of payment…again called me a liar and warned me not to go to the restaurant and hung up! Never encountered such rudeness!!

Never had a bad takeaway from this place and today I am very disappointed. The curry and rice was lovely . Bombay potatoes to spicy for me but my partner likes them. The samosas onion bahji and naan bread on the other hand were inedible . They were rubbery and very soggy . Hope this doesn’t happen again

shaslick and onion bhajis really dry. Barely any chicken for any of the meals. most pieces we had was 5. However it was all piping hot. Just wouldn't order from there again

Well over an hour late, after told driver was on the way an hour before. Food generally ok. tikka masala very watery , luke warm when arrived.

I order from Rugeley spice all the time and I do order the same thing each time.The last 3 times it has been late and food has arrived Luke warm but this time the food was not upto the standard I have had before,the curry had so many onions in it and was tasteless,not sure if I will order from here again,which is a real shame as I liked what I had received on previous occasions,I do order a byriani too for the rice but even this was tasteless and you usually get complimentary poppadoms,not this

normally delivered on time or even early but this is the first time the delivery was a bit late. No issues really, I only enquired incase the driver was lost, which he told me he did struggle abit. Still great tasty food and good value for money.

Really good, ordered late at night Friday, still came early! Banging food! dropped some on the floor and even my cat enjoyed it! Was a great bonding experience for the two of us as we don't always get on since I accidentally stepped on her tail, but the trust is slowly coming back

Ordered a meal from the vegan menu and when it arrived we found lumps of what we thought at first was chicken, so we called up to ask and we were told it’s not chicken it’s cheese, an Indian cheese made with cows milk which is NOT vegan and should not be on their VEGAN menu. We asked for our money back as we could not eat the food to which we were told to just “pick it out and eat the rest” and they refused for a while to refund us any money. Then we were told they would only refund us for part of our order because it was “our own fault” .. our own fault for ordering what we thought was a vegan meal because it was on the vegan menu… Do not recommend.

This place has no clue what Vegan is. The vegan menu is all cheese (not vegan), dangerous for people with allergies.

Vegan dishes are not vegan. They contain cheese. Clearly they have not had training in food allergies!

Paneer is not vegan! It’s cheese made from milk! Please, take this off your vegan menu.

Right let’s get into it… me and my partner are vegan (she’s vegan +8 years) and I call before hand to see if they did vegan options and they said yes they can. On their menu headers they have a section for “vegan dishes” we ordered and the food came early but half way through eating we found cubes of what we thought to be chicken. Received order 30 mins late after calling the restaurant. Meat tough and chewy, especially the lamb and looked/tasted like it had been cooked the day before and warmed up. Had to leave most of it.

Awful place no atmosphere , staff serving in shorts and sliders ! Curry very mediocre and my two Friends couldn’t eat theirs as was way too hot , we left and went to Spoons will not be recommending! Very tatty exterior too does not make you want to go in

I've never had Indian food that was so bland before. Everything was completely tasteless. Quite shocking to be honest. Really poor.

Didn’t taste like authentic Indian food. Bombay potatoes were sweet and lacked flavour. Puri starter was sloppy and soaked in sauce. Just very odd.

I forgot I ordered from here previously and it was terrible, nothing's changed ordered tandoori chicken and it was burnt and dry totally inedible could even get the meat off the bone that's how bad it was.

Food was decent just a shame the tikka massala was not red like advertised on the site and the chips were soggy and the lamb started over cooked and tough shame really would of been really nice otherwise

Cold food covered in spilt mint yoghurt - never again. What a waste of £30 !!!

We can’t recall the last time we had a take out meal that was this good. Flavour, quality and quantity of meat in the curry was great, every bit of the meal was spot on. Our over indulged bursting stomaches speaks volumes. Well done

The food was lovely, but when I collected it I was told that they had included a complementary portion of boiled rice, which is great but they didn’t include the pilau rice I actually paid for. Other than that, the food and service was great. Thank you.

Ordered on Rugeley Spices App waited one hour then rang to find out how long the food would be and was told its wasn't taken off the printer and they would start the order. No apologies or offer of discount. Not a happy customer.

Pot of sauce had no lid on and leaked over the food and into the bread. Food was like warm and had to heat in the microwave

Bhuna was far too greasy but was ok once you drained off the grease, shami kebabs were quite tough

Ordered two mild curries but they were sooooo spicy, I couldn't finish them. Ended up just eating poppadoms and bread, leaving the curry to my husband. Really disappointed.

It was amazing the staff were amazing they the staff are so kind and the food is absolutely delicious you should come here often you will not regret wasting your money on this restaurant.

Ignore any posts with regards to a poor hygiene rating, that is history & has been sorted. I ate here tonight & I had an awesome meal yet again. I’ve been in here at least 11 or 12 times now & I’ve had an excellent meal every single time. If u r not 2 fussy about the decor & u simply want a good Indian meal then cum here cuz the chef is excellent 👍

Part of the food was great. Part was overcooked. Ordered chips as like a few on the side and completely over fried and just pure oil no potato left. Ordered a Ben and Jerry's to go with it. Turn ups squashed and completely melted. Not enitrely surprisung I guess but better packaging could have been arranged or simply dont offer. Enjoyed the rest of the meal just a couple of small things. Would give them a go again, but if hadn't of had discount code then would have asked for a refund on some of the meal as two parts inedible.

Sent chicken pakora instead of king prawn and forgot naann bread .

The food was cold when it arrived. The tikka paneer was really greasy. The curry was nice but I had to heat it up which slightly ruins it.

The food arrived within the estimated time slot. However the chicken legs in both of the tandoori mixed grills were uncooked. Called and complained only to receive a tikka starter over an hour after. Very disappointing!

Great place never been inside as I use just eat food was ordered at 7pm was believed by 7:20pm even though they missed an item I called them up and told them I’m missing an so they Apologised and they said they will send it straight away. Ordered from here after a friend recommended. Not for me unfortunately. Didnt taste of anything other than spice no other flavours. The chips were just a bag of hard grease and inedible. Ordered a garlic and coriander naan was basically plain in flavour. Nice to try a new place but we wont be back

Great food apart from the naan wasn’t as good as usual.

Food was ok. Biryani was meant to be chicken and egg, I added extra prawn. No egg to be seen in the biryani at all. Disappointing.

Ordered 3 items, 1 item was missing. Phone straight away to tell them food was missing and they just tried to argue with me and tell me it was there! I even told them to come and check if they didn’t believe me. Eventually they said that they would bring missing dish. I appreciate places make mistakes and miss things, wouldn’t it be better just to hold hands up and admit it instead of arguing about it and questioning the customer?

Freshly cooked food, delivered really quickly. Everything was hot and really tasty. Definitely order again :)

Pungent smell of sweat from one member of staff.My starter arrived Over cooked on the outside and RAW MEET that had been not defrosted it was cold with blood in the middle. When I complained the non smelly member of staff accused me of being intoxicated (I was driving so no way) I offered to pay for the Popadoms I had recieved but I was manhandled out of the door. I Would only reccomend eating here to my very worst enemy.

Missing part of the order, food cold and part of the mixed meat starter impossible to chew, even our dog would have struggled. We have given them the benefit of the doubt in the past but never again!
