Only had a takeaway but food was good and fast takeaway.

The service and the food was excellent. We were looked after exceptionally well. The waiters took time to explain the menu and answered any questions we had. Although they don’t serve alcohol you’re allowed to take your own and they will supply pint glasses or wine glasses whatever you need

Have been esting here for years and always pleased with food. However last night we treated ourselves to a takeaway. The only positive comment is that it was delivered on time and at the right temperature. We had onion bajis to start, they were very small and very floury and the yellow dip was thin and watery. The main meals chicken tikka masala and chicken korma were OK but sauce rather thin. The peshwari naan looked nothing like the ones served in the restaurant being much smaller very thin and dry. Sorry Silsila but we won't be spending another £34 with you any time soon!

I was quite disappointed with the two curries I bought to take away. One was too sweet, while both had far too much sauce, lacked spices and needed about 20-30% more meat. Both had red food colouring and so looked exactly the same. Some pieces of chicken were quite tough as if not freshly cooked from raw. The only positive was the ghobi bhaji side dish which was more flavoursome. The Raita was just plain yoghurt, no cucumber or mint. The peshwari naan was a bit limp and fruit rice a little dry. The chutnies were not homemade - just cheap sweet sauces in sealed pots. Overall, not worth the price and I would not order takeaway from here again. The delivery was quick and service from Maz pleasant so thumbs up for that.

We tried this restaurant/takeaway because of the high customer feedback but sadly our experience was very poor. I ordered online for collection but the food was tepid, the Naan breads were cold, the curry sauce flavourless and one of the containers hadn’t been sealed properly and had been squashed by another container so the sauce leaked through the paper bag into the plastic carrier bag. Lucky it wasn’t just the paper bag! Admittedly the portions were larger than some but that didn’t make up for the almost cold food. We have three Indian/Bangladeshi takeaways nearer than the Silsila and whilst they aren’t much better, they are closer.

Staff very rude and miserable, I wont be going here again. Dreadful and it was our christmas get together.

Absolutely love this place. Always a warm welcome. We have been to many Indian restaurants but rate this as the best food of all of them. First class, bags of flavour. Thanks Silsila. Back soon!

The staff at Silsila were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us little extras eg we commented how nice the mint yogurt sauce was and they brought us more. The food was very tasty and good value. One thing to note is they do not sell alcohol but you can bring your own and there is an off licence a couple of doors down so very handy. Unfortunately we dont live in the area but if you are in the Rugeley/Cannock area we would definitely recommend visting.

This unassuming restaurant in a fairly miserable parade of shops blew us away with the quality of the food and efficient, unobtrusive service. Fresh ingredients, interesting variants on the standard tandoori staples too. Outstanding cooking. A real find - worth travelling from other nearby towns and villages for.

We were on holiday from Fife, We were looking for a good restaurant and advised by a local to try here. Fantastic meals, we had four different meals and would give 10/10 for each. Staff were very helpful in ordering our meals and you can take your own drinks in. Very well done gentlemen and thank you, will definitely use again

On a work night outing, the 10 of us dined at the Silsila Indian Cuisine and were very warmly created by all of the staff. All food came out on time for everyone with zero mistakes, very impressive. I foolishly chose a main that was way way way too hot for myself to handle, however the main itself was tremendous in taste. The Manager overseeing my personal struggle made sure to keep tabs on me, even going as far as having a yogurt put together in the kitchen to get me through it. Even after defeat the Manager offered another main of a less volcanic heat but insisted it had been my choice and that I did in fact love the hot main, top man. This level of service was high standard and I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a decent night out for food. Thank you 🤙🏻

Had a delicious meal on Monday night. Great service from helpful capable staff. Strongly recommend. They are happy for you to bring your own alcohol. Wine glasses set on the tables.

Staff were more interested in answering phone for deliveries instead of seeing to customers in restaurant. However home delivery food was very good.

I came here, all the kids were vaping so I told them to breathe air. Curries were good. I had butter chicken. Same colour as my Bugatti. My unmatched perspicacity coupled with sheer indefatigability makes me a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavour.

Waited over ninety minutes for a delivery. It tasted fine but would have been more enjoyable if it had been hot didn’t bother phoning to complain, it was on plates before we realised the temperature and we were to hungry to mess around trying to rectify the situation. I have given one star because the delivery driver was a nice chap.

Really good food, but great staff. Recommended some great dishes, service was quick and courteous. It was a pretty busy saturday night but everything was perfect- will 100% be back

We went here this evening as we were staying at the Travelodge and it was the highest rated restaurant nearby. I’m really glad we did. The service was good, the place was clean and the food was excellent. The sag paneer was the best I’ve had anywhere in the country and I would love the recipe! I will definitely go back next time we’re in the area.

I Pre-ordered a meal to be delivered at a specific time. My family came over to enjoy a meal together. My family enjoy spicy food but generally eat around Sutton. The meal arrived exactly on time. It arrived perfectly as ordered and piping hot. All of my family said it was the best meal they had ever had. We enjoy silsila regularly but it was lovely to hear my family compliment the meal so much. Thank you for helping make a great night for us all.

We had a lovely meal late in the evening. Some unusual/ interesting dishes available in addition to the usual range you’d expect. The owner was really helpful in advising dishes to suit our tastes. Very welcoming. We would definitely go back.

Went to silsila yesterday and the food was brilliant and the service even better. It was so good we ordered a takeaway from them the next night! Fantastic flavour, great service, great price and couldn’t recommend more highly!

This restaurant has no drinks licence, so you bring your own with no charge. Good number of special dishes I've never seen before and all could be customised at time of ordering to your level of heat. A little slow to serve, but very busy including a huge birthday party on the first floor that evening.

Take-away food was cold. The tikka masala must have had half a pound of sugar in it. King prawn bhuna had a lovely flavour, although it was cold. Naan breads were small

Went for the set menu, good value for the portion sizes. Manager was friendly and took the time to talk to the children. Food tasted fresh. Bhaji and naans were crispy not oily or greasy. Would recommend their mushroom rice too.

Me and my husband went to silsila tonight ,the food was absolutely delicious, I had a chicken balti which I really enjoyed, Zack and the staff very friendly and helpful , , been going to silsila for 10 years and will continue to do so

Awful experience at silsila the other day. Man who seemed to be the manager was extremely rude to us and made us feel very uncomfortable. Made inappropriate comments about the amount of food we were ordering, he wanted to make sure we were to eat everything off our plates. I thought he eas joking about it but he was deadly serious. I understand he didn’t want waste, we had a curry and rice each, we paid for it, If we wanted to leave it we had every right. He had NO RIGHT to make a comment about it. Won’t be coming here again

Had a lovely meal here tonight, great food and a varied menu with some very interesting dishes. Been here on several occasions on date night with my wife and with friends and the experience is always good . Staff are always friendly and polite.

Had a takeaway from here tonight came looking like they had been windmilling the bag rang and asked for a replacement they sent me another curry even though it was the whole order that was covered in curry then the driver told me ring the manager and walked off ended up having to get in my car at 23:45 to take the order back and get a refund safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again

The best indian in the world with amazing staff that make your evening the greatest. Food is out of this world. Additive and beautiful. Recommended to all fabulous

Having a rare date night, we decided to go to our favourite restaurant. We both ordered the starter of the Chicken Bari which was tandoori chicken stuffed with chilli and cheese. This was lovely but there is a kick. For mains my girlfriend had a Chicken Raja and I let Zak choose mine and he plumped for the Lamb Karahi and I wasn’t disappointed plus I had a parathia with this for the first time. Zak knows his stuff and he is good with his customers. This restaurant always delivers and never lets us down

A group of ladies enjoyed a wonderful meal at Silsila restaurant last night. Food was wonderful and we had the best Naan breads ever. Zak and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and made the evening good fun.

We loved this little restaurant. The staff were really attentive and the food was delicious, would recommend a trip there! All dishes are reasonably priced and the restaurant is just the right size for you to enjoy your own privacy but also not to feel lost in if you were the only people on there. The phone was constantly ringing and customers wanting to come in and dine for the night. As it was our first night in Rugeley we can only comment on that night but it was very popular indeed and judging on the amazing food and friendly atmosphere we were not surprised at all. The staff seemed to know some of the customers by name as they were chatting with them so we assume they also have regular return customers.

Came here with the wife. Loved the food and the staff are all great, real authentic Indian cuisine. The staff make you feel at home and love to have a chat with you. Would definitely return. Thank you guys

I would have to say this is 100% the best food I have had in any Indian restaurant throughout the country. Very highly recommended

We've been here before and the food was amazing, tonight we were let down by 1 meal within our order:B92046 which we ordered on the website. We asked for 2 Chicken Tikka Masala's and got 1, the other wasn't a Masala and certainly wasn't Madras hot like we'd requested. The other meals were correct so this is why we didn't come back down due to having visitors and it partially ruining our evening. I'll order again but will not be doing it on the website, shame as it was a quick and convenient way.

Pre-ordered our meal for Christmas Eve, and despite how busy the place seemed with other orders, it was the best curry my family has had in ages!Tikka Madras was spicy but not overpowering, and very flavourful.Vegetable korma was tasty and had a decent amount of potato so it was filling.Chicken and mushroom curry must have been good because my mother had seconds, which is very rare indeed!My dad always gets dhansak, but said it was the best he could remember, so that nust have been top notch too!Popadoms, keema naan, and rices were lovely as well, they even gave us a few little extras because it took a few minutes longer than expected, but given how busy it was I wasn't unhappy, they just added them anyway!Overall fantastic service, and brilliant quality, especially given the circumstances! 100% going to Silsila for our next curry, just hope they are this good on a regular basis!

Ordered from here tonight for the first time. Food was delicious and they were very accommodating when I asked them for a curry without something it usually comes with. Very generous portions will definitely be going back to eat in next time the atmosphere was lovely and staff seemed very attentive while I was waiting for my order.

Food is amazing! If you're unsure of what to have just tell Zak what you like and he will reccomemd a dish for you. All staff are really friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Vegetarian and vegan options. Went on a eat for less day and it was packed . Slight mishap with the bill ( we got the wrong one) but it was quickly remedied. Would recommend

We visited Silsila last week and it is hands down one of the best Indians we have had. The staff are all very knowledgeable, and the quality of the food is brilliant. You can tell the chef puts a lot of care into his work, so good we came back again 2 nights later when the rain washed out our barbecue plans. We will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

Booked on spec to go here as wanted to take advantage of the government eat out initiative and was really impressed. The paneer (healthy option) was amazing and chicken Dhal were beautifully cook with so much flavour. Will definitely come again.

Ordered the Lamb Naga & asked for it to be a proper Naga full of spices and I have to say I got exactly what I requested. Only negative was that although the lamb was nice & tender, there wasn’t much of it.

Zak and his team offer a fabulous service with a smile and the food is just excellent every time. My Husband and I have had a lot of different dishes and just love this restaurant. We would highly recommend You try Silsila, you won’t be disappointed.

I am writing this having just pre-ordered my curry for this evening! This is my fourth since they re-opened for deliveries during covid-19 lock down. I have been eating at Silsila now for 5 years, generally twice a week. I have never had a bad meal! The meat is the best quality, and the team are always more than happy to make changes to your dish to suit your palate. Madrasi Biryani, vindaloo hot :-)You will not be disappointed if you eat here :-)
