Celebrating my birthday here tonight .The staff have addded to an amazing night .The food is outstanding.The atmosphere brilliant.Will definitely recommend and will definitely be returning .For my birthday celebration I have had balloons in my table,an amazing night had Thankyou xx

Had a lovely meal here. Opted for the set menu which was £14.95 for a starter, main course and either rice OR naan. Large group of us and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. It was a quiet night, not many other customers and we didn't feel rushed to leave or anything. If you are going for any special occasion, please let them know when you book and they will put some decorations around for your party.

Terrible food. I had the butter chicken and it has totally different chicken in compared to the other curries that my friends had, it was bizarre and didn’t taste like real meat. Bland cheap / poor quality food. The restaurant needs some overall TLC too.

This is the usual Indian restaurant for my family and there's a reason because the service is really good and the food is beautiful. There's a big variety of things on the menu, staff are nice plus attententive and the prices are also pretty decent 👍

We have been to India Red a few times recently and we can not fault the quality of the food and the friendly atmosphere, we were even given some complimentary wine last time we went. We will definitely return again soon 👍

Excellent food and great atmosphere, the customer service was very attentive and had a great time overall, I cannot recommend enough.

I’ve gone to India Red for decades and always been pleased, but under new management it was reached a new level. Eron and his team offer some incredibly delicious authentic dishes alongside everyone’s favourites. To top this their attention to service is exemplar and makes me proud my home town has such a place as India Red to eat. Cannot recommend enough.

Love this place,service is faultless, and the food is always delicious , excellent value for money. Lovely atmosphere,staff are helpful and attentive. Enough said, "Go and see for yourself"

We always used to have a wonderful family Christmas dinner here. But now the restaurant has changed hands the meal was awful. £83.60 for two people. For a very small prawn cocktail. A very disappointing main meal with just 2 roast potatoes and packet smash. To finish, a cold Tesco mince pie in its silver foil. Staff flustered, angry and under presure. No service or customer care at all. Cold coffee and couldn't get you out the door fast enough. A million miles from how our Christmas meals used to be here. Their Indian choice may have been better but certainly would not recommend.

I had the Chef king prawn special tonight and it was of the tastiest Indian dishes I have tasted in many years. I would highly recommend this dish.

We visited India red after so long but we left disappointed the food was so bad chicken patia was tasteless. Shada zal murge was just spicy but had no flavour. Shahi lamb was the worst no taste I think they changed the chef never going back again.

Left Jaipur as they did not serve tap water. Lucky we did got authentic meals with tap water served with a smile. Will return and urge everyone to avoid Jaipur. Terrible attitude of the staff and trying to grab a few pounds for water for our driver. Thank you India Red for saving our night.

We have travelled from solihull to an amazing welcome from all staff and ray couldn’t do enough for us. I used to live in hednesford so I have been here before but my expectations were exceeded. You need to ask for the special curry’s which are not on the menu absolutely amazing flavours and spices. My partner just likes the butter chicken and even that was the best they have ever had. Off the back of my visit I have booked a table of 15 for my son’s 18th. I am not just saying it but really you do need to visit here. I have been to many Indian restaurants across the country and this is absolutely the best one I have been to which beats the 3 rooms near Thorpe park. Enjoy you will not be disappointed

I went to for dinner 23/10/2024 Wednesday night,it’s under new management.New manager Ahmed was off on the night.food & service is down,chicken tikka masala is watery & no flavour,chicken tikka starter is cold & egg fried rice oily.last visit was enjoyable with Ahmed,we are very regular customers.we are very disappointed about food & service,hope they will improve.thank you

We went to India red on last Friday the food was so bad especially the chicken Tarka was taste less and also the chicken shaslick had no taste the onion and pepper looked old. The customer service was really bad . The waiter who took our order was not able to explain the the dishes properly.

Ordered over the phone, staff friendly and very helpful. Food arrived in about 30 minutes, piping hot and absolutely delicious.,generous portion,not at all greasy. I will definitely be using them again.

We ordered a take away which was rubbish it ruined our night. The manger Ahmed who took our order was so rude he was not letting me explain what I wanted kept on talking over me. We ordered a mix grill and tandoori murgh masala. The tandoori chicken was cold inside my little boy was so disappointed he didn’t eat anything. Never ordering again.

Me and my partner visited India red tonight after work, and the food was absolutely lovely everything we ordered was spot on and cooked to perfection. The staff was really nice. Nothing was too much trouble and made us feel really welcome. We will definitely return soon.

Ordered takeaway this evening paid £25 cash to driver at 20.45 pm At 22.04 we had a knock on the door to say we hadn't paid I said I paid driver cash then they left not happy with someone knocking our door that time of night acusing us of not paying

We have been using India Red for 20 years and can honestly say we will never be returning after experiencing the worst customer service ever. We ordered two meals for a takeaway. We sat to eat and my vegetarian Saag & Mushroom Korma was in fact a Chicken Korma! My husband returned to collect my correct meal and asked if there was any monetary difference in the meals?He was told he was charged the correct price and to get out of the restaurant whilst the man held the door open. My husband was not rude and said he would never be back and that he thought they’d like to put the situation right. He was told by the member of staff to never show his face in there again!? There was no apology for serving a vegetarian a meat meal. Horrendous customer service skills!

Once again been served meat at this restaurant when I ordered vegetarian. This is now the third time and there is literally no excuse. The kitchen is full of cross contamination. My “VEGETARIAN”chickpea starter had some chicken in it and another diner was served a meat samosa instead of veg. It is disgusting for this to be happening time and time again and very little being done about it. I choose to not eat meat for a reason.

Fantastic restaraunt, friendly and thoroughly proffessional/friendly. The food was the best id ever had. The service was excellent. I think the girl who served our table of 4 was Lilli. She was so helpful in reccommending individual dishes and service was really good. I would definitely reccommend to my friends and family.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

OK food, which was well presented. We went on a saturday night so it was very busy. Despite booking a table we had a long wait for our food, despite asking the waiter when it would finally come. Plus point is that you can take your own booze which keeps it affordable.

Best service out of any resturant I've experienced and best food out of any idian resturant I've gone to, I had the head chef's special which I was given the option to have lamb with since I didn't want the prawn and it was perfect, if you want indian food for dinner it's no question come here

WOW! This is probably the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. Fantastic food and lovely staff. All 4 of us rated the food as top notch and they even made us mango lassi specially although it was not on the menu!! Recommended to anyone who likes a really good curry.

Went with a party 6 can't fault the food but the service was appalling, Even gave them a tip no please or thank you. Certainly won't be going back, there are plenty of other places to try.

Food was really really good. Service was a bit short and sharp but it was busy. Waiter walked off as the other half asked for salt. Customers were super loud and drunk but thats not the resturaunts fault. Price was very decent for the quality of food.

I you fancy a fabulous takeaway look no further than India Red . I can honestly say its the best takeaway we have ever had!! From ordering to arrival I couldn't fault it. Our takeaway arrived on a rainy Friday evening delivered by the restaurant itself, not uber or just eat. The food quality was amazing, the portion size very generous and the service top class. My first visit with two. Friends. Very attentive service. Food arrived quickly and was gorgeous, hot and plentiful, my only niggle is that it is very gloomy in there. It could do with a facelift. Good That you can take your own booze in. Very good meal for the cost

Upon arrival, this place had the wow factor it was a hive of activity it was busy and had a great atmosphere. The front of house gentleman had great banter extremely friendly. When we ordered our food there was 5 of us, 1 of our party only wanted starter as main and we got told by Abdul that we could not do this as it was Saturday!!!! Then obviously the mood changed. A customer does not have to justify what they want to eat. As Abdul walked away we did request poppadoms he just said how many. I do feel that his customer service was lacking somewhat and maybe a refresher course wouldn’t go a miss. Maybe it was because it was so hot in there, not sure if the air con was on or not. There was a wait for the food but probably because of it being so busy, when it arrived it was piping hot and presented well. We did have to ask for a portion of rice that we had ordered. I couldn’t help notice that when Abdul took our plates away there was no please or thank yous I found this quite off putting. When we decided to leave Abdul did cut in in front of me on the way but to be honest was not shocked about this behaviour. When we went to pay we were greeted with the gentleman as we walked in, we had a few laughs and great banter and conversation again. As we came to pay Abdul said to add poppadoms on as he had clearly missed them off. In reflection of his behaviour I would be reluctant to return as his behaviour, service and attitude did not make our meal memorable in a positive way we all hoped.

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at India Red yesterday with our walking group of twenty-six people thanks to Mick and the team who are well versed in catering for larger parties such as ours via a pre-ordering arrangement. Everything ran like clockwork and the room really buzzed when the meals began to arrive - a great atmosphere. Plenty of choice on the menu here. The various Sizzlers appeared popular, and the Madrasi Biryani was excellent. Good sized portions too. Thank you India Red. Looking forward to the next time.

Came here this evening for dinner and couldn’t fault it ! Staff were super attentive and friendly but not over bearing. The food is so tasty. Everything came out piping hot and despite a busy restaurant our courses were severed quickly.

lovely food, but when we ordered a delivery the delivery driver moaned at me for ordering at 10 and he said it closes at half 10 although when googling closing times it says 11:30. just thought it was rude to moan at a customer when i just went off the times their own website told me

Home delivery an hour late, food was barely warm and not the best.. disappointing is an understatement. Won't be using again

Honestly we love the food from here but we booked in for a large party paid out deposits and in the party we had some people who where gluten free, it was a set menu which we pre ordered, got there our starters came out which wasn’t gluten free so we asked the waiter if he could change them, he wasn’t helpful at all his tone of voice and attitude was disgusting like we was in the wrong, then after speaking to the manager they sorted it out promptly. Comes to the bill they tried to charge us adult prices for children meals which was chicken nuggets at the cost of £15 per child and adults was £20 per head I will never go back there tired to rob us with the bill and there attitude was disgusting as a paying customer you don’t expect this sort of service

Really sad and disappointed tonight with the service we have received from our go to Indian restaurant was really looking forward to a takeaway tonight after feeling poorly all week so ordered from India red as we know food is great , 2 hrs later , money come out of bank email received no food ?? Phoned up to ask first phone call was hung up on second phone call awful customer service no sign of order can’t refund as not on system ??? The worse part of all this is that we have always recommended this restaurant and cannot believe how awful the treatment we received tonight was So we are £35 down and starving hungry 😞

They realy do value you custom. Attentative staff that always try to please. Food quality was good and meals were tailored for our needs individually and as a group. Value for money slightly above average.

Waited 2 hours for an order, accompaniments were missing along with a meal. When called to ask, the response was poor. I understand places are busy but trying to rectify a problem wouldn't go amiss. Ruined a birthday meal sadly.

This is the only Indian restaurant I eat in, when I visit England. It’s absolutely without doubt the most delicious cuisine. I carve this when I’m home in the USA!!
