Very clean place with nice seating. The dynamite shrimp starter is soo nice and saucy. They do a lovely steak with peppercorn sauce. Very rich flavours. Food is always fresh and fast. Waiters could have some more customer service with more character and personality. Maybe some more smiling will do the trick. Overall i give it a solid 10 and i definately will be back again.

We went with family yesterday to try Chinese food, it was delicious and we were served by Huzaifa despite being busy he made sure everything was okay and made our visit good. Will recommend it to everyone, Thanks.

My local go-to place, the food is good and a wide variety to choose from. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are attentive. However, on occasions, the music can get quite loud for a dining setting. Therefore, I've given 4* only.

Food was average but the music was soo loud we couldn't have a conversation between ourselves. The food was really spicy and you couldn't taste anything else but spice; in the menu it didnt indicate it will be that hot . The food both starters and mains came togther we felt like they hurried us so we didnt get to enjoy the experience.

Food was alright, as always it was good we enjoyed it. Service was really good by Huzaifa, he made sure that we’ve got everything and his recommendations were good as well. Atmosphere there is always great will be coming again.

OMG went here on a Friday evening the food was disgusting 🤢 the chicken dumplings were rubbery and the cod fish was so soggy. The chicken sashlick and the spicy chicken noodles was good.

The food was okay. However the service by Halima was great. She was on top of the service and always happy to help. 10/10 just for Halima.

Family of 5 (2 adults + 2 kids + 1 baby). Really enjoyed our food. Service was great - I know this because our baby were causing mayhem. Overall I think they managed a very busy bank holiday well. We didn't wait too long and for the price the options and taste was excellent. I am really glad that their spicy chicken noodles were really spicy. We're not big on eating out but if we are there again, we'd seriously consider them.

Mixed feelings walking away from oodles noodles, absolutely fantastic customer service, cannot fault waiting staff, however food and drink was beyond disappointing, firstly coke (drink) was either contaminated or syrup ratio was off, it tasted awful,chow main was lacking in flavor, and had very very miniscule amount of chicken, much less than what I would serve in my kitchen, the "oriental fish and chips", what is this on your menu for, how you can take a piece of fish and make it taste like nothing i don't know, also concerned my fish was square? after so many years working in this industry I don't know how you make it tasteless, I'd advise removing it from your menu, the highlight of my meal was the chips were served coated in a sauce full of flavour, how you can make chips so good yet ruin a fish ? I personally won't be returning in future. Once and done.

Came here with a friend for dinner, had rib eye steak with mushrooms and sauce and a colada drink. Food was very lovely cooked to perfection! Very flavoursome. Service from marium was outstanding. The noise and music was a little too loud. Overall very satisfied

The service was poor, it all seemed a bit chaotic. We were asked for what we wanted quite quickly, but the starters came out and it took another 10 minutes for the drinks to appear. Then we waited over half hour for mains and only got them when we asked about them. The food was ok. Would not eat here again

Hello, I've been out to eat so often but I really like the service of Oodles N'oodles, StarCity. Specially, I've met a guy Huzaifa I guess was his name, he's been so cooperative and good in serving and food is always good.Highly recommend to everyone.

Very busy restaurant food was ok but the level of service especially by one of the servers Maya was on point. she was very attentive and extremely good at her job.

I tend to come to this restaurant once or twice a week and the experience has always been amazing. Everyone is so lovely and help cater to an enjoyable atmosphere; one who really stands out to me is a waitress named Maya who has always made me feel comfortable and is easy to speak and get along with.

Me and my family go to this restaurant for every occasion, never had a negative experience. The food, the waiters & waitresses always going above and beyond for customers especially Maya. Maya has always provided excellencent service and creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Food was nice, but the highlight was the kind lady called Nisha, who greeted us very nicely and looked after us with a kind hearted manner.

Food was good and surprisingly cheap. Service wasn't very good and was out of some basic menu items. Was busy, so can understand a little, but my table felt ignored Would go again as I was happy with the food. Food came very quick

Lovely friendly staff. Lots of choice on menu if you don't like noodles, eg burgers and chicken dishes. The only issue was that the noodle dishes we had were more spicy than we expected. I am used to spicy food but was not expecting it that hot. My daughter did not like her chicken dish very much and was disappointed. I would go back again.

Compelled to rate poorly due to a troubling observation. I witnessed one of the servers using the restroom and then returning to serve customers without washing their hands. This is a significant health concern and unacceptable by any standard. Although we had already finished our meal by the time I noticed, it was disturbing enough that I would have left without eating otherwise. The food itself was slightly above average.

The beef burger was decent. Nothing that blows you away. The chips were coated in a sweetish chilli sauce. They were not bad. A dipping sauce would have been good. The wings were quite delicious, they had a distinctive peppery taste. I tried my friends fish noodles and the fish was pretty nicely seasoned, like masala fish. I did not like my other friends beef noodles. The restaurant itself is quite nice, mirrors above where you sit.

The food was fantastic. Hamza was fantastic he took care of my sons meal, specially asked the chef not to put any black pepper or spice. My son ate it all.

Food was pretty good, although staff were unclear about how spicy some dishes were. Whilst our waiter did come over several times, when we tried to get someone's attention to ask for the bill, the other staff chatting nearby were busy laughing and joking and clearly ignored our request.

Hot and sour soup,shrimp dynamite and stir fried noodles were really good. The rest of the food is not bad , abit on the pricey side. Not good place for steak 😄, so tiny (but my mistake, should have known better).

I recently went to Oodles, and I must say, the experience was impeccable and the service provided by our waiter, Maya. Throughout the evening, her attentiveness and professionalism were truly remarkable. A woman wearing a brown jacket, who is usually at the restaurant's entrance, was loudly shouting at our waiter, Maya. My heart went out to Maya as she maintained her professionalism by gracefully ignoring the woman's outburst and focusing on taking our order. It was distressing to witness someone berating her in front of other customers. She needs more training and Maya needs a pay rise! The food was 10/10! I got the chicken steak and chips. The seasoning was just right with enhancing flavours, without overpowering it. Will definitely be coming back as long as the woman stops shouting and showing off infront of customers.

They rushed us out and gave us the bill even though we didn't ask for it They were just being racist imo

Have been eating lunch here a few times as I work in the complex. Person ringing in my food arbitrarily decided that today there was no discount, (Star City Business offer a small discount for people working there) When I asked why no discount I was told no discount. When I asked who the manager was I was told "its Me" Food is no screaming delight but was ok, the way this came a cross was nothing short of rude.

I’ve been to this place a few times over the years. It’s hands down my favourite restaurant at Star City. The chicken steak is the best I’ve ever had. They also do Moven ice cream in many flavours. My last experience was a Deliveroo delivery, the delivery menu unfortunately does not feature the full range of food they offer. Below is pictured the grilled chicken shashlik which comes with rice. It was lovely although the peppers were hard. Overall, you can’t really go wrong with this place.

The food was very nice for us. The wings were tasty as well the noodles. The service was terrible. The person who was wearing different clothes than other staffs(I guess the manager) gives you cold welcome. She took our order as-well with bad manner. No Thank you or Please word used. I guess that was an art how can you be like this. She was chewing gum while taking our order which was very unprofessional. If she is fed up of her job she shouldn’t be working there. This is customer service industry. A little bit of smile and manners goes a long way.

Has seen better days, slow service and dated food

Great place nice staff, steak could have been better but still good. Update went again yesterday and ordered noodles apparently there is a 3 prawn limit which i have never ever heard of when I phoned and asked why so few prawns i was told that is the standard limit and that i should have asked but nowhere is it written down or mentioned the manager asim was quite short with me about this and I did not like the way he spoke not professional at all.

Been here many a times... On this occasion ordered a Ribeye steak, chicken burger and a full chicken platter Chicken burger and full chicken was alright tastewise. I asked for my ribeye steak to be cooked medium. When it arrived it seemed alright until I started eating it, it had good flavour to it but tasted abit burnt, so I turned over the steak and it was overly charred and burnt around the side. Did mention it to one of the managers but he just seemed to shrug it off by saying that's how they are cooked on the grill. Trust me I have had many a steak at different places and this is the first time I've had one like this. It's a shame because it did have decent taste and flavour to it. Lastly it would be nice if one of the managers would treat all his staff equally. As we witnessed, he had his arms around 2 of the female employees for a few seconds and then using foul language against a meal employee. Like I always say everyones taste buds differ and everyones opinions are different but this is my honest opinion. Lastly the portion sizes have drastically decreased and the prices have gone up. The size of the sides is ridiculously small. About ten chunky chips or a couple of table spoons of mash if that. Food and quality is not as before.

Awful food, their noodles are instant noodles that they put spicy sauce into, no flavour, not worth the money - look elsewhere, we asked to change the noodles as it was too sour and had no other flavour they then brought out just reheated noodles. Awful

First time we ate at Oodles this weekend and we left impressed. Noodles we ate had a lot of flavour and packed really good spice. Dumplings were our son's favourite and the tiger prawns tasted well made. Will be back. We weren't to keen on the tempura prawns as the batter seemed quite thick and tasted unusual. But keen to try more dishes.

Food is alright. The amount of money the restaurant makes they can easily afford some unchipped new cutlery. Each and every dish that was served was chipped or broken. Please can you ask your staff to take shower so that they don't smell while serving food which is a healthy and safety hazard. Definitely not coming here again.

Waitresses we're insisting on seating 24 of us on two booths only. We asked (TWICE) for a third table, and we kept being told "no this is enough". Why are they trying to cram patrons in, so they can have more space for more patrons and money? Shame. Food was also all average; soups were gloopy, full of cornflour. I've had much much better food here before.

My steak was brilliant, I mentioned we were still waiting for the mash and the waiter pointed to the tiny dish on my plate. When I realised that was the mash I was shocked, Literally a scoop of mash it was crazy. Luckily we also had some chips else I would have been starving still. Communication with our main waiter was hard too and no asked if we want salt/pepper or the bill.

When we asked how long the food will come and said it will be there in 15-20 mins and it arrived 40 mins later cold… The manager was not attentive to the issue raised and was pointless him coming over and talking as he was not even willing to listen to our concern. Highly not recommended at all!

Good food chicken steaks had lovely flavour.

I Ordered half chicken & spicy chips, my partner ordered chicken noodles & spring roll starter. The half chicken was disgusting, not fresh & I did not eat it, the spicy chips again tasted stale... we bought 2 drinks & were charged for 4, which we noticed on the bill after paying. After speaking to the waitress about over charging us, she walked away & returned 10 minutes later & refunded me with cash, when I had payed on my debit card. This outfit has lost interest in food quality & customer service, spend your hard earned cash else where, there are plenty of decent restaurants in & around Brum 🤢🤮
