The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

Had a pretty poor experience couple of years ago, so gave it a swerve for a while, tried it again last week, and was super impressed, great food, generous amount of meat and chicken in the dishes, will definitely reinstate it as my local 'go to' indian takeaway.

Second visit. Very much like the first, service was excellent. The novelty of grilling your meat yourself will never get old! The food not cooked at the table was amazing. Would definitely recommend the Crispy duck bao. The desserts are better on the Japanese menu, but as long as you ask, they appear fine for you to mix and match.

A warning to everyone NOT to eat here, both myself and my boyfriend got food poisoning from the food here, even though we only ate a few mouthfuls as it was bland and tasteless. Since learnt they only have a 1 star food hygiene rating. Avoid at all costs!

Have used this takeaway for 15 years the above title is my favourite and have never found a comparable dish at any other Indian. Ali (the boss) is a top guy. As the reviews say the food is great but will take an hour to get to you. Just assume it’ll be an hour and half and order early it’s worth the wait.

Beef brisket teriyaki without teriyaki sauce. Ate it 2 times and it's dry as desert. Also, if I order kimchi I expect extra pot even if it comes with the main already. I didn't get that

We were on a short vacation and staying in a hotel. After a long, energy-draining day at the beach, we were starving! I opened the Uber app to look for vegetarian options and came across Shanghai Garden. I ordered the Vegetable Set and, thinking it might not be enough, added a portion of Vegetable Fried Rice too. To my surprise, they called me just a minute later to confirm whether we were okay with eggs, since I had requested only vegetables. That level of care and attention really stood out—amazing customer service! The food arrived even before the estimated delivery time, hot and fresh. And guess what? I totally overestimated our appetite—we couldn’t finish it all! I’m used to small takeaway portions from other places, but this was generous. The taste? Incredible. The Mushroom Fried Rice and the Veggie “Chicken” Curry absolutely knocked out our taste buds. Thank you for a wonderful meal. We’re definitely ordering again, or better yet, we’d love to dine in next time!

Menu has changed since last visit. Good quality but a little pricey. Lovely decor. I booked ahead to ensure a table. Not keen on the 'optional service charge' added to the bill which was around 13%. I find that cheeky & unwarranted. The coffee for £4 was disgusting.

Make sure you order double the quantity you want (Double the price!). Servings are very small, what I would normally order for a family of five, only fed two. Sweet and sour chicken balls were extra small, possibly three balls cut into ten minute pieces. Curry sauce was probably 3 tablespoons. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!! I should have read the reviews!!!

Excellent all round! Food was lush, didn't have to wait long at all. Restaurant was clean and atmosphere good. Staff very friendly.

Ordered food, been waiting 2 hours, called them and they shut for refurbishment but money are taken and website says they open! Even google says you are open. I want my money back now!!

Took over 1.5hrs to get delivered and arrived Luke warm at the most. Asked for my noodles to be spicy… this wasn’t done. Odd tasting curry and gelatinous satay sauce.

La comida era terrible. El Misterio es un buen nombre de esta comida para llevar, ya que era un misterio encontrar cualquier sabor en el pollo tikka masala. La primera y última vez que voy a pedir desde aquí.
