Our first time ordering from here so was a bit skeptical but so glad we did this will now be our new go to Chinese takeaway. Ordered at a peak time on a Saturday arrived on time & really hot! Portion sizes are great. We had the sweet & sour mixed starter which was such good value for money. The ribs were unreal. Every dish was delicious with its own authentic Chinese flavour. Very impressed

I spoke to a really happy friendly lady on the phone. The food arrived a lot quicker than most for a Saturday night. The driver even found our house, normally I am out in my PJs trying to find them. The chicken balls are slightly smaller than others but just as good. Our meals were perfect and tasty still hot out of the pan. As you can see I couldn't wait to get it in my bowl. Thank you

Charlton Street Here, we ordered last night. Wow! Everything was so tasty, from the epic starter with massive meaty ribs and succulent satay chicken skewers to the crispy tender chicken balls and the curry sauce, Wow!. I don't leave many reviews but when something deserves it I just have to, (my wife insists, lol). Good job, thanks for the free bottle of coke too and a big handful of fortune cookies. Was made to feel very special, such a massive amount of food for £50 we spent and every single item was cooked to perfection! Thanks again! Shaun and Joy

I ordered food and specifically asked for no nuts due to sons allergies. Food came smothered in nuts so i called back to be told if i dont like i take it out... shocking service. Please avoid at all costs especially if you have allergies

Usually our favourite Chinese! Ordered lots of times and always collected but tonight we fancied it being delivered and what a mistake that was! It said 45 mins but was nearly 2 hours! The food was soggy and disappointing. We tried to call for nearly an hour to find out where the food was but the phone didn’t get answered. Let down and will look else where next time.

It was My 60th birthday, we paid £230 worth of orders . Over 10 orders not delivered and paid for. When requested got put on h old for Over 30mins . Only to for the phone to hang up and number blocked 🚫 I ask all of you, how would you feel to treated so disrectful on a important occasion. Only to let those special friends in your life. They have paid in full for meals they did not receive. . I am truly appalled for the service . Let alone paying for goods not received. I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET how appalling I was treated on what should have been a 60th birthday . Thank you for spoiling my special evening . You are a disgrace. Stay away ...

Terrible service, we ordered at 6:30, it’s now 8:51 and the food still hasn’t arrived. We called them and they kept ignoring our calls so we called from a different phone and they picked up so they were obviously just ignoring. Very unprofessional.

The lady who took my order was very polite and efficient! But I was very disappointed in my order! I ordered the house special which stated was hot? It was bland in taste and the chicken tasted frozen prosessed! It wasn’t worth what I paid for! Disappointed ☹️

Arrived on time, food was very hot. And was the nicest Chinese ive had in a long time. Had Singapore noodles, kung po chicken, crispy beef and salt and pepper prawns. Portion sizes are very good. And liked that they are full and have veg in thats not sloppy. Defo found my Chinese takeaway in maidstone

Absolute shambles. After a long day and not wanting to cook due to personal circumstances, after 3 hours I was told by the staff that my order had been cancelled even though I hadnt cancelled. Staff totally blamed Just Eat but strange enough after I told her that this is her business and their reputation on the line, I get a text from Just Eat to say the restaurant cancelled. They dont care quite honestly. Stay away from this place if you want to eat food the same night you order it. Ridiculous.

Realised I've ordered to me or my friends for over a year now every month and some times before... this place is amazing and I've never reviewed it. Anything I put in notes like remove something for picky mates or super extra spicy is done for me. Sometimes just eat time is wrong but never by enough to complain. Amazing service, phone service (when order messed up) and delivery drivers.

I have used Chopsticks for quite a few years now and only every had one small problem that was fixed within minutes. The food is always hot and well cooked and delivered fast, Looking forward to the order I just placed a few minutes a go.

The service is abysmal! I would say you have a 50% chance of the food arriving on time, if it arrives at all! Utterly chaotic ordering system, no contact from Chopsticks, then an apology that they're "very busy". The last time it was clear they hadn't even processed the order. The food is fantastic though, but not worth the shoddy service. Get a grip Chopsticks.

Really good food here, I would say that chopsticks, in Maidstone are one of the best Chinese take aways in Kent. Their food is of a really good standard, wonderful flavours, not too greasy and I would recommend them to anyone. They can get quite busy on a Saturday night, though, so be warned.

Why be on just eat for Staplehurst if your just going to cancel? Adjust your delivery area.

Ordered at 5:10pm from Just Eat where delivery was estimated between 30 to 50 minutes. On acceptance delivery time went up to 1 hour 15 minutes. Was actually delivered in 1 hour 40 minutes. I did try and ring a handful of times but the line was always busy. The Just Eat tracker was never updated and i suddenly just got a knock on the door with the food. I wish i could say it was worth the wait. The noodles and sweet and sour sauce were so watery, and everything was pretty bland. The noodles were piping hot but everything else was barely warm. Usually i like to give places the benefit of the doubt, but given the other reviews i feel this is their standard level of service.

Ordered a delivery which never turned up, even after showing it had been delivered. Tried to call the restaurant, who must've taken their phone off the hook as was constantly engaged 🤔. Wouldnt recommend this to anyone

I am not rating based on quality of food but based on delivery. I ordered my food online at 1730 and the option was 1800 so I chosed the earliest time 1800. I know I had to consider +- 15 mins but actually order didn't arrive until 8pm So I had to pick up myself from the restaurant. They are not bothered when you order. They wait minimum order from that area if that doesn't meet you might have to wait longer than that which means they don't care customer at all.

We have been using Chopsticks for a while now, and they never disappoint, the food is always hot and tasty. By far the best Chinese in Maidstone.

We were a bit worried after reading the reviews on this takeaway but it has 5 stars on the Food Gov site so we thought we would give it a try. The lady who took our order was really friendly and repeated the order back to us, we had a lot of changes to the order so this was good. Delivery was very quick and the delivery driver was really friendly too. Food was amazing - Beef in black bean was full of flavour - plenty of beef and lovely crunchy peppers and onions. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was delicious. As were the noodles and rice. We were given free forks and free prawn crackers. We also had a couple of fortune cookies. We had travelled down from London and we said it was the best Chinese we have had for a long time. Not sure why the other reviews were so bad but we were really impressed.

This was our second time order from this place, first of all the women was VERY VERY VERY RUDE whilst taking order, she didi not even confirmed the order properly. Food was TERRIBLE. Ordered chicken and vegetable mixed curry it was 90% vegetable but it was not curry. Roast pork and mixed vegetable curry was same with NO Taste. I threw all of it away in the BIN, Please please do not order from this place, Dry ribs had no taste and it was like a chunk of firewood. I will never go back to this place. My best Chinese in Town is New Chinatown. It was very disappointing treat for my boy for his GCSE result. Wondering how they are sustaining in the town!!

At last we have found a fantastic Chinese takeaway. Very helpful and friendly staff and delivered well within the hour quoted a very hot. Throughly recommend Chop Sticks and will be reordering again.

Used to be a really nice food and still is ok but the chef is putting far to many chillis in the dishes these days and completely ruining the taste. We don’t mind a bit of spice but this is bordering on vindaloo territory (it’s a Chinese).

Chopsticks is best chinese in Maidstone every week deibmve from sittingbourne get the crispy duck, salt and pepper King prawn and the Singapore noodles and the satay chicken this our favourite. We always eat in the car park.

Absolutely awful service. Waited an hour and a half for delivery and then they cancelled my order due to insufficient stock. Looking at reviews i'm not the first this has happened to. Wok Inn in town are much better (unfortunately don't deliver to my new house)

Such a shame lovely food but the last two times we have ordered it has been delivered so late like 40 mins after it was expected. It wasn't particularly warm when it arrived either. There excuse both times was that it was really busy it's Saturday night what do they expect when half the country is having a take away! We shall not be ordering from them again.

Absolutely shocking. Order my food pay for it on card, it’s says it’s on it’s way to me. They’ve taken my money by this point. Ring them up 30 minutes after my food was meant to be ordered to be told my order has been cancelled and they can’t give my money back so I have to ring up just eat. 3 times I have ordered from chopsticks and all 3 times I have been messed around. Safe to say I won’t be ordering for there again

I wouldn’t even be rating it a 1, it will be nothing. Ordered 3 items from here on a Friday evening at 8:45, initially stated it would be delivered at 9:45, this then changed to 10:15pm. The food did not arrive, therefore after numerous attempts to call the take away it constantly stated ‘user busy’. This is now 10:35pm and still no contact.. or food! Therefore I drove to the takeaway, to be informed that there had been an error and the driver had taken my food to another address and was on their way there to collect the food and deliver to me. I highlighted that this is disgusting and I do not want food that has already been left at someone else’s house, the response received was ‘they haven’t touched it’, I highlighted that they have no idea whether they have or not. I then asked why no one had contacted me to inform me of the error, I was informed that they were ‘just about to’ They wanted the old food to be delivered to me still, which I refused, they finally offered to re cook, but no refund. I advised in the end that I do not want the food, and wanted to speak to the manager as the person speaking to me advised that they couldn’t authorise anything. I still left with no manager details. It then took a further 15 minutes for them to be able to arrange a refund. I will never be ordering from here again.

We ordered from here tonight and to describe in one word..... awful!! Firstly, we ordered lemon chicken. Well, all I can say was that there was no lemon it was just battered chicken. I called to explain and they made us aware there should be a pot of lemon sauce separately however we did not receive this. I told them this on the phone but they just kept repeating it was in the bag which I kept replying no it isn't! I was then passed to the manager who came on the phone with an attitude and pure rudiness! As I explained previously the sauce wasn't in the bag.. I mean how difficult does it have to be to just get delivered the correct food. I ended up putting the phone down due to her trying to argue with me. Secondly, noodles were absolouty awful, very greasy. And thirdly, sweet and sour chicken had lack of flavour and very dry. Overall our dinner was completely ruined, ended up binning the whole lot.. what a waste of money. The only good thing was the driver was friendly and on time. I recommend you do not order from here!!!

We ordered yesterday it Took nearly 2 hours to be made and delivered! When it got here it was warm my children are ill today wasnt that great tasting either Will be ringing as soon as opened to complain!

Took 2 and a half hours to be made and brought half a mile up the road. Cold on arrival.

Called and ordered a substantial amount of food, was told it would be 90 minutes. It didn't turn up, so called again, only to find out they had put a random address against our order due to some admin error. The order was then cooked and delivered, after another 30 minutes. We've been very regular customers for years, we will never order from this place again. 2 hours for an average Chinese is unacceptable.

This is the most vile Chinese I've ever eaten. Rude clueless order taker and a vile woman owner do not order from this hole!!!

I have used chopsticks on a number of occasions the food has always been hot and extremely tasty. On one occasion they forgot a can of coke which I had already paid for, so I called and they apologised and said they would give me a free can on my next order. So on my next order I reminded them and they said yes they would give me a free one, however when they arrived they had forgotten again, the Man who delivered apologised and said he would mention it and for me to call them, I decided not to bother as it was only a can of coke. Then an hour later there was a knock at the door and the man had brought a single can of coke and apologised again. So amazing food and exceptional customer service!! I would recommend to anyone based on the quality of the food alone but the willingness to go out of their way to keep a customer satisfied is commendable.

Excellent service and food. Cooked to order. Short of helicopter delivery can't complain about the traffic delays in Maidstone.

This is the only Chinese takeaway I will order from now. I have been going here for years! The king prawn with chilli and garlic is the best. Delivery could be quicker but the food is worth it.

Best Chinese takeaway in town, never lets us down!

Bought a family meal tonight to celebrate a birthday as weather too cold to go out, seriously the plastic tubs holding the food were barely half full of the two sweet and sour dishes, never have I had a whole tomato in a sweet and sour dish, onions, peppers pineapple yes tomatoes no. Noodles unappetising at best and prawn crackers stale. Needless to say over two thirds of four dishes are languishing in the bin, avoid this Chinese if you want a decent meal

Paid on my card when ordered, called later to be told it had been delivered. They offered no resolution, i suggested the driver return to where he had delivered the food to which they refused and said they were too busy.

Had a bad experience with a dish which contained seafood, ie prawns in the special rice. Runny bum within an hour. And I do not have any allergies.

Good Chinese food but delivery times could be better. Most take aways will delivery for free within your local area for a certain spend. Chopsticks charges £1 for local delivery and an extra charge if you don't pay with cash, which seems petty.

Amazing food and they even recommended a Malaysian rice which isn't on the menu but is super spicy and just what I was looking for. Would highly recommend this takeaway restaurant

We've used Chopsticks for 9 years. The food is always excellent and the service is friendly too. I've never had a problem with late deliveries, but then, we are regulars and they know where we are! When it's busy, I go and collect the food myself, to help them out a little.

WORST SERVICE EVER. AVOID!! Took 2 1/2 hours to deliver after being told 1. The driver just left 2. The driver had been in an accident 3. The driver had been stopped by police All across an hour period. Quite clearly ALL LIES. Most of it was cold and soggy when it eventually arrived. Worst part is when it finally arrived it was long after bed time for our children who went to bed with just a sandwich as they couldn't wait any longer. We will NEVER order from here again.

ordered online through Just Eat- they quoted an hour for delivery - 2 and a half hours later and it still hadn't arrived - several phone calls when they lied about the reason for lateness (car accident, been stopped by the police) and being told it has just left and would be 7 minutes/ later phone call retracted this and said she had got address wrong - it eventually arrived. Food was actually good -although not as hot as it should have been - unfortunately the kids were asleep due to the late delivery - not impressed
