I got a thai milk tea and it was amazing, my favourite tea to have. My main meal was pad thai veg and it hit the spot, would reccomend 😄

Me and my partner had a wonderful time at Thai Orchid! We opted for the buffet option and every dish was made to perfection! The staffs are also very friendly and so helpful when we asked for recommendations. 5 stars isn’t enough! We are already looking forward to coming back ☺️🧡

I love eating at this place! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, has a lovely atmosphere and the food here is absolutely incredible, a must have! I had an all you can eat buffet which involves ordering on a menu and waiting for your food to be served. It’s really good, I highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience at Thai Orchid We had high hopes for Thai Orchid as my sister had been before and recommended we go for my mum’s birthday, but unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. We dined as a group of five 3 adults and 2 children and spent £150 between us, yet none of us left feeling full or satisfied. The beef in particular was extremely chewy and difficult to eat, and many of the dishes lacked the depth of flavour you'd expect from Thai cuisine. We raised our concerns with the staff during the meal, but the only response we received was that they would “let the chef know.” There was no apology, no offer of a refund—not even a gesture of goodwill. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality and customer service. Sadly, we won’t be returning, I also do not recommend if you want a tasty authentic Thai restaurant.

Best duck spring rolls ever... gorgeous food

The food itself was fine though the noodle dish lacked any real flavour. The biggest issue was the sauce for the curry being all overr the bag. Either use lids that securely fit the containers or use sellotape to make sure the lid does not come off. Delivery driver was surly and clearly not interested in customer satisfaction.

Took a friend for lunch and we has had the set menu. The service and food was great. I had the mixed starter (photo) and Thai green curry. I will definatley cone again and try their buffet which sound great as I don't want to eat lots but do want my selections cooked fresh at the time of ordering.

I’m always very impressed with the quality of the food and the customer service. The location of the restaurant is lovely as it overlooks the water. Very cool and relaxing too.

usually order from pad Thai live, will be going back to them again next time. this order was ok but not as nice or as good value as pad Thai live. my order was supposed to have pineapple but there was none in it and it was full of mushrooms which I don't like and not much other veg.

A Disappointing Experience at a Once-Great Restaurant. We were deeply disappointed by our recent visit to this restaurant, which was once a favorite. The quality of the food has declined significantly. The Massaman curry tasted more like a generic chicken sauté sauce, while the red curry was watery and lacked depth of flavor. The Tom Kha soup was similarly bland and unappealing in appearance. Worst of all, the squid was fried in old, smelly oil, making it unpleasant to eat. The only highlights of the meal were the dim sum and fish cakes, which remained enjoyable. Unfortunately, given the overall decline in quality, we won’t be returning. It’s truly a shame to see such a great spot go downhill. To reply to the Manager's message: We visited the restaurant on Saturday 15 March, in the early evening.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE! You have been warned. I received a parking ticket. After proving I ate there, they emailed me saying they can’t cancel the ticket, I must pay! And another threatening email of contacting DVLA requesting registered keeper of the vehicle, probably trying to take it! You go there for a meal, when you come back home you loose your car! It’s not worth. Still fighting the case as I write this! Disgusting!

My partner and I ate here yesterday and had a lovely time. We ate from the buffet menu and all of the food was superb hot and delicious. The staff were friendly and very attentive. We will be returning soon.

We ordered a lamb Massaman but they delivered a chicken one instead. Tempura prawns were good. Calamari was over cooked.

Friday night - half full. I have been here many times over the years, however it's been a number of years since I last visited. I must say I was shocked at how quiet it was on a Friday night, you used to be lucky to get a table here, perhaps more a sign of the times than anything to do with the restaurant. The food is good but no where near the standard it once was, perhaps this is because we opted for the all you can eat. It felt like the base flavours were there but the meat dishes were just lacking that freshness. Perhaps the meat was stewing for too long or it is frozen meat, whatever the cause I wasn't massively impressed. The vegetarian dishes however were much nicer. Overall not to bad for 25 quid and the service was quick and friendly. The Guinness pourer needs a refresher lesson because it was nearly all head but apart from that I can't complain. Would I eat here again.... probably if someone else was organising.

I came here today for a valentines meal out. We both chose the all you can eat buffet. It’s not a traditional buffet where you help yourself. You can order up to two items at a time and it’s cooked fresh as you order. We had around 6 minute wait between each course. The presentation of some of the dishes are what you would expect in a Michelin star restaurant, they looked stunning. The calamari is the best I’ve ever tasted, so fresh and soft. The vegetarian dim sum dumplings were divine. We also tried the massamann curry which tasted lovely the same with the sweet n sour chicken. The pad Thai wasn’t great though. This is my favourite dish to eat and I’ve eaten it 100’s of times. It was very dry and the noodles weren’t cooked fully they was still hard in some places. The rice wasn’t that great either it was very sticky. I would say though that every other dish we tried was absolutely stunning. The service is absolutely amazing and you can not fault the staff at all. They do an amazing job and are extremely polite and welcoming. You have amazing views from the restaurant looking down on the river. Will definitely go again and try other dishes.

Came here for something different for a Sunday lunch. The buffet was good value with a great selection of items & very friendly staff

we enjoyed the service with a smile and good food. Generous portions and buffet meal served to the table. Chicken satay was soft and tender. An excellent selection of food.

The all you can eat was wonderful. The starters were so delicious and we loved them. We reordered it twice and we enjoyed the prawn tempura so much. The staffs are so nice and friendly.

We always had a wonderful dining experience at Thai Orchid. It’s our favourite local Thai restaurant, we’ve been a customer since their Kings Hill restaurant. The Thai food was absolutely lovely - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a great setting!

This is the 2nd year we have held our Company Christmas Lunch Get together at Thai Orchid. There were 36 of us, so we opted for the set lunch meal and pre ordered our choices a week before. The staff, service and food quality is top notch! We couldn't ask for more. They are so welcoming, quick to get drinks orders and served. The food was fresh and generous in portion size. Each and every person who attended commented on what a wonderful meal they had. We will definitely be back!

It took me years to try Thai food and honestly so glad I did with this place. The massaman curry is amazing, the staff are always friendly and there’s a lovely view of the river if you get a window seat. Reasonably price what else can you really want with a restaurant! (It’s a dreary day and I’m bad at photos)

I always love this place and go here often as it is one of my favourite restaurant in Maidstone! They also have a good range vegetarian options that are really good and filling! The view is nice, staff is nice .. Here is a photo of our delivious starters I really recommend 😍

The food and service were good. However, I received a £100 parking fine. When I booked the table, I asked the staff if I could park my car there, and they said yes. Unfortunately, I received the fine a couple of days later. I appealed, but it was unsuccessful. I'm very disappointed.

Tasty, Good Choice, and Good Service

Wow! Had the £14.95 set menu and the quality of the food was out of this world. Amazing value and plenty of food, fragrant, tasty and very high quality, cant recommend this gem enough.

A good night turn into a bad night. Don’t want to blame the staff 100%. 1. Waited for the food very long time, and was ignore for a very long time. Finally we got the food. 2.After finishing food just before going to the toilet the staff was serving another table, then suddenly spill a few glass of beer which the glass fell and smash beside my leg. My jacket was covered in beer then I didn’t see them do anything about it so I had to go wash it in the toilet. I later ask for the bills no apologies was said or anything after that. Not even an offer to wash my jacket.

Lovely food and service. Good choice of dishes and a set menu if wanted between Monday to Thursday costing 15.95 was very good value. Delicious starters!! Prawns and chicken satay and yummy pancake rolls. Staff were friendly.

This place has such a lovely atmosphere and brings you into the beautiful culture of Thailand with its delicious light food, and its mood lightning and (surprisingly) nice view of maidstone. The food is divine and the service is great. 10/10 recommend. Also get the thai milk tea its unreal!!!

Food and everything all good, but order need to wait a long time.

Food is absolutely glorious, and a pleasant (if someone's very busy) atmosphere. My wife has several serious food allergies and the restaurant manager could not have been more attentive. Not a particularly cheap evening out, with cocktails, but well worth it.
