Incredible place! Food was great, service was great, there was a mix up with my order ant first but they didn’t hesitate to bring me the correct order and let me takeaway my first one! Super kind people. Delicious fresh food. Highly recommend.

I went with my granddaughter aged six for a quick lunch before an appointment. Service was disappointingly slow and very hard to attract attention. Food was good, but the atmosphere was very dead and not the usual for Wagamama, which is normally bright and lively. My granddaughter found a piece of metal in her mouth from her ice cream. We called the waitress who disappeared and returned a couple of minutes later with the offer of a lolly in exchange and said the manager was looking into it. We had already paid the bill. I would have expected the manager to come and see us immediately to apologise for such a dangerous and unacceptable incident. Nobody came and we had to leave for our appointment. I have filled in the Wagamama contact form, but no reply. Never again!

So excited to be re visiting our favourite restaurant since it re opened. So let down, service was dreadful, had to ask to order drinks, then food, then had to chase drinks and food, waited over 45 minutes for anything to come, tables around us came in after and ate. We were told that there was a mix up with our table… not good enough, 2 meals then had to be chased up and came when everyone else had eaten. No real apologies. What a disappointment

Well done Wagamma for taking all suggestions onboard and a SPECIAL THANKS TO BEATA her customer service is extra ordinary . As soon as you walk thru the doors she greets you with a very welcoming smile and she remembered my regular order and nothing was too much I made a lot of alterations and nothing was too much she made sure it was all right . I feel inclined to write this review after two bad experiences since the restaurant has re-opened. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time round with the poor service because it had only been a week since they re-opened but it seems the standards have not changed. On the 14th of August at 9pm, I went in and ordered food for take-away and sat waiting outside. It took them 40 minutes to give me my order, after i reminded a member of staff. What is worse is that the two other parties sitting outside and another sitting inside had to go and remind the staff to either take their order, or complained that they had to ask to be seated. One of the waitresses explained that it was because the server who usually serves the outdoor tables was not in. I believe this is a poor excuse and the staff seemed more focused with cleaning up than serving the customers. If i hadn't asked about my take-away, I could easily have waited for up to an hour. Food was also cold by the time I got home. Please do better.

After coming in I was seated by Sash and she said she would be serving me today then left after giving the menus after waiting 25 minutes without ever even being asked if I wanted a drink I ended up leaving to go somewhere else, I don’t see how this can happen as you surely don’t think it takes that long for one person to know what drink they want. Was just completely forgotten can’t even rate the food as I never got any

Wagamma Walton is seriously the biggest let down since it’s opened the food takes absolute ages the taste is not upto the wagamma standards . This is my second time to dine in since it opened and sad to say both experiences have put me off I usually order expecting it to be ages . Today I ordered a katsu curry to take away as we were finishing our meal and it only took 50 minutes to arrive with no apology from any manager or staff apart from ALKA after chasing it with around 4/5 staff . First we were even questioned if we ever ordered it and then After proving with the online receipt it was oh but it’s not on the system well we ordered it thru the staff who put it on the bill for which we paid . Disappointing to be honest and sad to say I will not be dining in till they can get their act and customer service in gear . Wagamma is our family favourite to go to place but we will have to go elsewhere . You go there some staff are excellent but that’s just literally a few the rest just ignore you or walk straight past you like you are not even there . I believe there are training issues and gaps here hope they do something about it as I am sure I am not the only person who has made this observation

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered via Deliveroo and they were missing 1 main and 1 starter. Phoned the restaurant and they accused the driver of stealing the order stating the order was 2 bags. Well Wagamamma only wrote 1of1. Asked again what they would do to fix the issue? Nothing. The manager refused to join the call and for the record, said just reclaim the order via Deliveroo, bye bye and hung up. So here I am, one of us is not eating and the management team doesn't care at 21:30 at night and just hung up. £80 order and a night in ruined. Avoid this restaurant.

Four of us, one meal didn't get ordered, only three. They quickly made one and brought it but the others had just about finished by then. I think there were some new staff as this Wagamama only started having dine-in customers again a week ago. They didn't charge my friend for his meal which we all thought was fair.

I went in to pick up my collection order today , a total of three servers saw me come in and wait there and refuse to come and assist me. Instead one chose to go to the back, whilst the other was checking her phone whilst she was “cleaning menus” and the last decided to clean tables, there were already set for customers. I would understand if it was a busy day but it was at 30% capacity max. The Branch has been reopened for a total of 5 days and the servers are already acting like this wow!!

We were lucky to visit for the preview weekend before the official reopening. A table of four - we all ordered something different. Everything was delicious – especially loved the roti and raisukatsu – service was above and beyond, atmosphere was great. Very happy this is reopening in Walton. Thank you for a great afternoon.

I wanted to know why you treat the drivers who come and collect your food so badly. Most of your sales are delivered by us. You have no respect for us, you keep us waiting a long time. No toilet or water for us to give the bare minimum. I was waiting 30 minutes to get an order and I couldn't, that's a lack of respect for the people who work with this. Let's stop collecting at your restaurant if you.

What a absolute spoiler for a friday eve takeaway. Don't do it often, but we thought we'd treat ourselves to a Walton on Thames Wagamamas. Fifty quid for a bland and dry meal. I had beef tantanamen ramen with a small dribble of "Rich Chicken broth" that didn't even reach the noodles or the half stained egg. We didn't receive the chilli squid as they probably sent it out without ticking it off the check list. Other half had bland Pad Thai with very little chicken and prawn shells in there. I looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of a burnt pan. I don't like to complain normally but this is the second rubbish meal we've had from here compared to sitting in at the Kingston on Thames restaurant. Insult to injury, we were left waiting ~15 mins because our call is so valuble to them not to be answered. Poor show, we won't be returning.

This is the second time our takeaway order had been a scam! I had no prawns in my yaki soba both times, neither did it have any kind of sauce. So very dry. Also, the edamame "chilli garlic and salt" was just salt, and very little of it too. Very disappointed! My husband and I have wasted nearly a whole bowl of them as they had no flavour whatsoever. We will not be ordering from here again.

Thanks to the staff for re cooking our food so it would be fresh after Deliveroo took over an hour to collect food that had been sitting cold waiting on the side. I love Wagamama food it’s great, I’d get your own drivers and drop Deliveroo as they are letting you down and your only as strongest as your weakest link. Still 5 stars all day for Wagga.

The 2 ladies calling themselves "managers" should be fired yesterday!! 1 hour waiting queue to collect an order. They were moving slow as death, unable to manage, clueless and on top of that they just didn't care. You could see them yawning repeatedly with 20 drivers waiting outside. You can't run a busy place with such laughable management.

I love Wagamama’s. I have been to many restaurants in many locations over many years. However. I would advise to never order over the phone. They took down my order even repeated it back to me. Not only need we not receive two main meals. Two orders were wrong and had one piece of chicken in the whole dish. Very very disappointing, it’s moments like these that make me never want to go back to a restaurant. A real shame. The issue and frustration is that we waited 50 mins for our collection. Which is fine but if the order is wrong which it was. No one on a Saturday night wants to go out again 15 minutes later to try and get the order that was actually ordered. Wagamama we’re unable to deliver so we would have to go back out to pick up what was meant to be our order. Very disappointed not likely will not go back which is a shame as we have been very loyal customer a to Wagamama over the past 5 years.

We ordered a delivery for my son’s 16th birthday but his part of the meal was not delivered. I phoned Wagamama who were very helpful and assured me a replacement would be sent. Chased it again and was advised It had been sent with Deliveroo but had not arrived and they would send immediately - Chased again at 10:30 but they had closed and gone home. Left with a hungry very disappointed son who had really looked forward to a birthday treat, Spent £90 on a special meal that was anything but.

Visited this place many times for lunch, mainly with family whilst on a shopping trip. Food I can not fault! So tasty. But I have a pet hate, and that is being served a warm beer? This seems to happen every time??? I get told it’s just come out the fridge......🤯 well my advise is simple! Turn the bloody temperature down then. I’ve lost count now how many times this has happened “only at Walton branch” and just keeps happening? Beer is meant to be served chilled, end of!!!! We actually paid for what little we’d been served and left for the Argentinian steak house a few doors up. What a good move that was......nice cold ice cold beer at last, And the food was very good.

Today I decided to visit wagamumas for the first time and was shocked to find almost every face working in the restaurant looking miserable. When I was seated by a lovely young blonde girl, she welcomed me with a lovely tone and made me think maybe wagas isnt that bad after all. Sadly once I had ordered and received my meal I was yet again disappointed. The food looked like a mess and tasted bland lacking flavour. Sadly the only reason I can think of to visit this dreadful dull place again is the one person who brought a bit of life to the whole ordeal so thank you to the sweet blonde with glasses. You made experience memorable

While we all love the delicious food that Wagamama prepares, I was rather traumatised by their click and collect offering. Delivery drivers crowded around the only entrance with no respect for social distancing at all. I received a foul mouthed response when I asked one of them not to bump into me. Unfortunately the staff did not ask them to step back so myself and other pick up customers were left standing in the cold for over 20 minutes until we got truly fed up and knocked on the glass, using charades to ask for our food. If you really need a Wagga fix, I would suggest using a delivery company or be prepared for a half hour wait for service.

Unfortunately I have never had a decent meal at Wagamama. Normally the portions are too small. Visited with family and ordered a very bland chicken Katsu curry which had been over spiced. Service was quite poor as we were waiting over 30 minutes for a table. My advice to customers is too avoid going here at all cost and go to a proper Japanese or Tai restaurant instead.

Spent £60 here for dry stuck together noodles, super rubbery dry squid, undercooked ebi katsu and only one dipping sauce between the two of us for four starters! I was totally gutted and will not order from here again. It's a shame cos the customer service was ok but if I hadn't picked up from 3 miles away, I would have gone back and demanded a refund. There is clearly no quality assurance here and the manager needs to be checking the food quality and hiring chefs that can actually use a wok.

Can't say I was impressed at all. £60 we spent to receive overcooked squid and undercooked ebi katsu. The noodles were dry and stuck together and clumpy. The only good dish was the rice and chicken coconut curry. I doubt I'll order there again unfortunately as the service itself was good. I've given an average rating but it was more to the poor side. Had I of been eating in, somebody would have been notified instantly and I probably would have sent most the starters back to the kitchen.

I am a regular consumer in Kingston Wagamama and a big fan of this fantastic restaurant. Unfortunately, Wagamama in Walton on Thames seas not reach the same standard of other restaurants of this chain. I ordered ramen, prawn kushiyaki and chilli edamame. Edamame had a luck of spice and look rather yellow then green. My ramen was missing a broth! I had to return to the restaurant to return my ramen. The apology was non existent while all staff seems to agree on reason, why my dish is not complete. I was told, they will cook me another one. Whilst I was waiting in completely empty restaurant, I was not even offered a drink. I Would like to stress that water and green tea is free in here, so it was only question of good costumer service! It seems that staff is not interested at all. I had to pay parking fee, which for second time, was very inconvenient. I am very disappointed about this particular restaurant because it looks like it is not improving. I am a big lover of this chain and eat in almost every week, shame that one restaurant can differ so much from the others and perhaps create a bad reputation for the chain.

This was my first visit to wagamamas and I must say I was impressed. Food was delicious service was friendly. Price was a bit more than I would normally expect to pay, but I don't mind when the quality is good.

Been going to The Rose for years and it’s absolutely excellent. Lovely people, great food and also brilliant via delivery. Would recommend the Murgh Makhani and the Sag Aloo, my go-to order and very tasty. We feel very lucky to have such a fantastic curry house in Thames Ditton and would thoroughly recommend.

Having eaten here twice over a year ago, both times were nothing outstanding , I am Pleased to say our meal Here last week was absolutely wonderful. Service attentive and all dishes were thoroughly delicious. My only reservation would be that the restaurant is just a touch too bright for An evening meal.

Yummy food and friendly staff. Tamarind mushrooms is a must try!!! The ambience of the place is amazing and the staff is very polite and helpful.

My husband booked for a meal for our 50th wedding anniversary. The booking was for 7.30pm we arrived on time but were left waiting in a crowded area for 15 minutes when we got our table we chose a starter of a tandoori mix for two , it was ok but we were disappointed that there was only one prawn in the selection, were we supposed to fight over it. However I chose a meal of minced lamb with potatoes for my main corse . When it arrived I had a bowl of potatoes with a small amount of shish kabab in sauce in the bottom. I called the waiter and he said that that was how they did lamb, so I called the manager and he basically said the same but accepted when I insisted that it wasn’t , in my opinion, what was stated in the menu ie lamb mince with potatoes not the other way round and that I didn’t want it and wasn’t going to pay for what amounted to a plate of potatoes. He did offer me an alternative but given the time differenceI wanted to eat my anniversary meal with my husband not ten minutes later. We have eaten there previous with a better experience. It is worth noting that what they describe as chapatti I would call roti.

On the off chance we walked in The Great Gurkhas and it was the best decision of the day. The staff is friendly and efficient, the food is out of this world and everything is cooked fresh to order. It's impossible to chose which of the dishes was the best. Nepalese green chicken, Nepalese lamb masala or the monk fish in onion based sauce with coconut rice or garlic mushrooms. The naan bread was light and fluffy, the guliyo naan stuffed with mixture of ground almonds, cashews, coconut and sultanas had lovely sweet flavour which finished our dinner nicely. We will be definitely back. Thank you to all the staff for fabulous meal.
