Lovely meal here, service was top notch and the food was incredible. We shared a variety of starters and a wonderful main meal. Great atmosphere in the restaurant too.

We go here once a month. We have two toddlers and often struggle for them to eat their vegetables. Here they seem to eat enough for the month! The staff are always so welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. Fantastic service, June is great with the kids and always makes them laugh and gets them colouring pens, kids cutlery and plastic glasses. Thank you

Giggling Squid in Weybridge is an absolute gem deserving of five stars across the board. From the superb food to the impeccable service and delightful atmosphere, every aspect of this restaurant shines. The interior design is perfectly exquisite, adding to the overall dining experience. It's become my favorite spot, and it's the reason I now have a deep appreciation for Thai cuisine. The staff are not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring a memorable visit every time. With delicious food and impeccable service, there's nothing bad to say about this restaurant. In my opinion, it's the best non-Michelin star restaurant in the area. I’m looking forward to visiting more of their restaurants as they expand across the southeast and London.

Once again; good service and great food. Pad thai could have been a bit warmer as i am a slow eater so it was cold after 15 minutes. Definitely returning! Sorry no photos this visit. Visited again yesterday. Great food and service again. Chicken pad Thai was really good. Georgina ate prawn pad thai. Huge portions, neither of us could finish it all. On my own yesterday, Sunday 28/1/24. Restaurant was really quiet at just 2pm. Hence the lack of atmosphere. I had the lunchtime version of the prawn pad thai without tofu or coriander. Excellent with a glass of chilean merlot!

Food was great,but quantity was little for the price

The service at this place is poor . The staff always try to replace the expensive ingredients ( beef) with cheaper cuts like pork or chicken even. The portion sizes are small too especially given the high prices. Giggling squid Weybridge take note !

Cannot fault the service, it was amazing and the food came out super fast. I can’t help thinking that going a bit more slowly on the food could improve the quality? The food was awful - we had three dishes: the squid and pork (?) in the starter was inedible, the sticky chicken was dry, the red curry flavour was good but the meat was poor. The wine was overpriced. I’ve had better experiences at other locations of this chain.

The service and the food is amazing. Greated with smiles and care. The food was spot on and tailored to our requirements.

The vegetable Thai Green Curry has become a personal favourite and this branch get it right each time. Wonderful staff and cosy atmosphere.

We went at lunch time and ordered the lunch time tapas. Food was delicious but they didn't have quite a lot of what was on the menu. Quite disappointing.

Stopped for lunch here on a Monday. Barely anyone at lunch time. Ordered a few tapas style dishes and classic Thai food. All food was tasty and well made. Parking was on the street further away. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend going here

Went here with my family. Had a fabulous time. My father is 82 and registered disabled and he wouldn’t shut up about amazing the disabled toilets were. So good he even stated that he would write a letter to the Times about how good it was. Food was on point. All dishes were fantastic and were delivered all at once as requested. The staff were all incredibly friends and accommodating (they even laughed at my dad’s extreme dad jokes, which is a hard task to pull off naturally). We will definitely be going back there again and will now make it our destination for birthday celebration. In a the “cost of living” crisis, this place was perfect for an affordable meal with a 5 star rating at a 4 star (or even 3 if it is lunchtime) cost.

I was really looking forward to salt and pepper squids as their name made me crave the dish. However my friend suggested the papaya salad instead as she is vegetarian. Papaya salad: very very good, quite spicy which I loved. A refreshing take on a classic salad. 5/5 Prawn pad kee mao: delicious and piping hot. I think mine lacked a little seasoning but all in all still a solid 4/5. Prawns were fresh and bouncy. I originally wanted Pad Thai, but I was not allowed to get it as I have a peanut allergy. The restaurant was strict on allergies, which is good for people who is worry about it.

We went there to celebrate my birthday and they didn't let us down. The place is quiet and spacious. The service was great, very attentive staff. The food was extremely awesome, not expecting to get full with their servings. We didn't manage to order desserts as we were contented with the main course. Price is satisfactory in comparison to the service, food and ambiance they provide. Thank you very much for the very memorable experience.

The menu has stir fry, noodles, cocktails and mocktaiks are out of this world! One of the most incredible restaurants I've been too, the interior will leave you spleecless and top of that the service from the staff is like a five star hotel A must visit

Out of this world. Had my brother's 24th birthday meal there. Was absolutely insane. Tasted incredible, the service was amazing and they even let us set up the table beforehand, sang happy birthday and let us use our own cake and Decs

Food was ok, no where as good as it used to be. Very expensive for quantity and the atmosphere was very noisy. There are far better thai restaurants out there, and not as expensive as this one. We will not be going back.

Been to this restaurant twice now. Both times the food had been fantastic. Service is warm and friendly. Reason for missing star is it's on the pricer side places to eat, but certainly worth the treat now and again.

Our first visit to a Giggling Squid and being big fans of Thai food we were not disappointed by the experience! All food was not only utterly delicious, but really well presented. Restaurant seemed very quiet for a midweek.

Service was friendly on arrival. Crispy squid was very good, rest of the food was average. Unfortunately I came out in hives shortly after leaving, I don’t have any allergies but MSG is something that has made my skin flush badly before so I checked the ingredients online and I was shocked to find they are still using this chemical in their food. Very disappointing in this day and age.

I am sorry but there are significantly better thai restaurants out there. We ordered a take away, they forget the spring rolls, the packaging was great but the food was tasteless and hardly reminded me for thai food.

Lunchtime visit to giggling squid in June. There is a specific lunchtime menu but you can choose from either the evening one or lunchtime one. Have been here a few times and as always the service is prompt and professional. Staff are friendly and happy to help out. Gave a 4 for atmosphere as lunchtime visit I've no doubt it's a 5 in the evening when the lights are dimmed and the crowds come in. The food is lovely, I've never had an issue with anything ordered and I would recommend trying the black sesame ice cream which is unique to the restaurants. Price wise it's on a par with other restaurants I didn't find it too expensive for a family of 4. Drink each starter main and dessert came to around £115. I would def consider a visit if you're near one. I will be eating here again.

Really nice food but all 3 of us were let down by the lack of meat in our dish.

Wish there had been no star option for service. Absolutely ridiculous experience by visiting this place when  we wished for a peaceful dinne on quiet sunday evening. Appalling service attitude of the staff for issue raised. We were rushed for order from the begining. Worst of it there was insect in the food and response for this was that's mosquito as though nothing wrong happend. They were unapologetic for contaiminated food. Moreover the staff were so rude and had a prejudicial mindset for problem reported and not bothering to address. Would advise to stay away frm this place if you want peaceful experience and good food.

Great food and fantastic service

I love the Giggling Squid. The food is always delicious and the service good. I have only marked the atmosphere down because the restaurant was quite empty when we were there but they played some great music in the background so perhaps it should be 5 stars too ⭐✨😄

It's OK. Used to be great but OK. The staff are great but the food was so so and you know there are problems when you are given a menu and then an additional menu of what they don't have available.

Great food and super selection! Waitress could have been a tad more friendly but all was good. I love their food and will definitely be returning!

The tapas set dishes are just fab! Much better value for money and you can have a bigger variety of food for the same price as one dish. They had a fair few things out of stock but what was handy they printed out a receipt of everything that was so we could see rather than keep asking. Love the decor and atmosphere....one of my favourite resturant chains!

Fabulous food, beautiful presentation and flavour. Brilliant variety to suit all including vegan. Really enjoyable experience.

Nice decor - but the food wasn't very good especially for the price. The staff were friendly and attentive but it was let down by the food - good presentation but the pork was undercooked as were the potatoes and the steak was particularly grissly. The tell tale sign was all of the main courses were left half eaten. Shame!

Went for a late Saturday lunch so was a bit quiet but meant we got a seat. Love the food here. Service was good - we had the lunch tapas which is nice and you get a few different dishes.

I just love this place and love the food! So much to choose from including vegetarian options. You can't go wrong! Whatever we ordered was so delicious. It was really buzzing on a Friday night! As for the prices, I would say starters are on the expensive side in comparison to those for main courses. Other point to make would be that lights were dimmed too much to a point that we had to use torch on our mobile phones to read the menu!

Ordered through Deliveroo to a local weybridge address. We were charged but the food was never delivered. Phoned giggling squid but they wouldn’t take any responsibility and said the food was picked up by a Deliveroo driver and had nothing to do with them.

Lovely decor. The Sharing platter was very tasty. Staff always smiling and nice warm welcome.

The starters were great. I had the drunken port ribs - not good at all. Two other people had duck and lamb shank In red curry. Definitely not returning here.

First time here. Great atmosphere and beautiful interior. Food was good. Only bad part for me was they only had small water bottles though on menu show large too. The annoyance is two small water bottles are 3 times the price of a large bottle.

Sunday lunch time not that busy but we were given another tables dinner staff seemed confused then removed it to the other diners, ordered from the tapas menu and when I said I didn't receive the prawn crackers I had ordered they just got the big sharing ones then charged me the £3 something for them overall food was average first time and don't think we will return

We had a take away delivered. Was awful! We paid £75 as a special treat for two of us. The veg was waterlogged and soggy and the red curry tasted and smelled of raw tumeric. Tumeric should be cooked out in food. This was an awful example of cookery, delivered by a restaurant that seems itself high quality. Soggy veg, spices not cooked out, rubbery meat….really? £75! We paid for this! Absolutely poor quality and awful taste.

Best place for food, the food always hits. I think it's expensive for the service you get though. Could do with a different service mechanics to help customers get the most out of their time.

Came here for an early evening dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday back in June, so they weren't many customers in at that time. There were 8 of us, we were greeted and taken to our tables. The decor looked amazing and the staff were really nice, welcoming and friendly. We all ordered a different dish each to share, the presentation of the food was good. I love Thai food, but I did think it was very slightly on the bland side but nice and nothing was wasted. Whilst we were waiting for the bill, they brought out a surprise dessert with Happy Birthday and presented it to my husband, that was such a lovely gesture, great customer service. I would happily go and dine in there again.

Food was very nice, I had the duck spring rolls and mixed fish curry and the portions were big. Unfortunately the staff were not very attentive they could do a lot better. Took a long time to get drinks then they were pushing desert too soon after we had eaten our main course then tried to rush us to pay the bill and yet there were plenty of empty tables and it was only 10pm

Best Thai restaurant I have been to. Food is amazing, staff are friendly and good cold beer. Had the pork skewer starter and melting beef main. My wife had the mussels for starter and the sizzling beef main. Can’t fault anything. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening.

From the minute we walked in, I knew this place would be special... Ive been told by several local people that a visit was a must, and by God they were right.. Stunning decor and a large dining area made for a really classy feel to what conspired to be a totally amazing Thai eatery.. Jack, our server was extremely friendly and helpful.. We chosen the lunch special and mixed and matched.. 1 x pork dumplings and 2 x sticky chicken wings.. Both came very well presented and the dumplings were in a small, Thai style saki shot glass.. We could have eaten 30.. Eeeeaslily 2 Thai Currys... One red and one green with Chicken and King Prawn.. Very authentic and the perfect heat.. Thai IS and always has been my favoured "Go to" cuisine AND WE were certainly not disappointed.... Can't wait to go back.. 💪💪💪🌟🌟🌟😎😎😎🏁🏁🏁

I was really pleased the way they catered for gluten free allergy. The waitress made sure it was noted. The salt and pepper squid was so good!! Will definitely visit again . The Thai wine was lovely too.

Had a takeaway last night part of which was 2 portions of sticky chicken. Usually great but Absolutely dreadful. It wasn’t crispy at all , dry and tough. Had to throw it away. So disappointing snd a total waste of money.

Just spent over £100 and my food was all spilled in the bag, the bag was ripped itself. The Deliveroo driver didn’t speak English and couldn’t tell me when this happened. This is just outrageous

5 of us visited whilst staying nearby at the Holiday Inn Shepperton. Beautiful restaurant. Food was fantastic and all of us really enjoyed the variety of dishes we ordered. The cocktails especially the lychee based ones were delicious. Staff were great, knowledgable and attentive. It was my daughters birthday and the staff bought her out some complimentary ice cream with Happy Birthday writing which was real nice of them. I just wish this restaurant was closer to my home as I would definately visit again and again!
