The best restaurants serving Asian food in Reading South East

This is the best Nepali food in Reading at a far more reasonable price than more central restaurants. We will be back.

The food and service is amazing. Thank you to Annie for being very attentive and caring. The chicken curry with rice is my favorite meal to have here. Definitely recommend.

I have been here twice now, and the food is consistently tasty and enjoyable. The only issue is that on my last visit, we were sadly seated upstairs, which was tiny and pokey. There are too many tables too close to one another which made my meal and experience non-enjoyable.

Food is good and the service is friendly but the pricing is way off. 3 Gyoza £6, a tiny bao bun £8.50. This is more expensive than quality Japanese in central London. Get a train to London, get a better meal and save money !

A small independent cafe cooking food as and when ordered. Menu is a little exciting, providing English and some Nepalese food. Good prices, catering largely to shoppers visiting the small precinct. Friendly and competent owner and family.

Between us we had 9 different dishes and all of them were exceptional, piping hot and well presented. Highly recommended! Very welcoming and efficient service.

This is the worst Thai food I've ever had in Toronto. Somehow, the food was both incredibly bland and insanely spicy. I don't think I've ever had a few bites of food and just refused to eat the rest. Even the rice was flavorless. How do you mess up rice? It's rice. I can't say the service was great either and they seemed completely disinterested in the fact that both of us didn't even eat a quarter of the food. As to how this place has high reviews, I will never know, but if you actually enjoy good food and have the palate of someone that isn't a nine year old child, I would recommend trying another restaurant in Toronto. I would rather eat a delicious meal and get food poisoning than have to return to this restaurant and eat awful food and feel fine after. That's how bad this experience was. My suggestion is to skip this place. Ask a passing racoon for food recommendations and they will likely be better than the outcome of stepping into Bolan Thai.

What a great find. Extraordinary customer service and mouth watering food. Service and food are the two top factors for any restaurant. These guys get 5 stars for both.
