Trying Kamal's food years ago was our first introduction to Napalese food. We enjoyed plenty of takeaways from his previous restaurant during lockdown but were delighted to hear he had opened a new restaurant with greater emphasis on the Nepalese cusine. He even has his name on this one! This is now a fully established lovely family business. We don't live as close as we used to so don't visit as often but the food here is better than ever. Everything is cooked fresh and there is a great selection of small plates to choose from and try. We have our favourites but can always branch out and try something different. We're never disappointed. It's worth a visit for the momo's alone. Kamal's daughter runs the front of house with a smile and is both warming and engaging. Nothing is too much trouble and she/they will ensure you have a lovely experience.

I have been here twice now, and the food is consistently tasty and enjoyable. The only issue is that on my last visit, we were sadly seated upstairs, which was tiny and pokey. There are too many tables too close to one another which made my meal and experience non-enjoyable.

A small independent cafe cooking food as and when ordered. Menu is a little exciting, providing English and some Nepalese food. Good prices, catering largely to shoppers visiting the small precinct. Friendly and competent owner and family.

We often order take aways from Reading Tabdoori. The portion sizes are great! And such good food. When we come and eat in person we always get great service. This valentines day the decor was great! And I was given a rose to take home. They go above and beyond. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

First visiting Bolan and I was happy with the experience! Service is excellent and food is pretty good!! We had the Signature Khao Soi, the signature Pad Thai and spring rolls and it was pretty good. The only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 it’s just because the Pad Thai was good but wasn’t my favourite. I would certainly come back to try other dishes as well.

Service left a lot to be desired, but the food was great. We had pani pur, steamed veg momo and pan fried chicken momp to start. Sadly the veg momo had paneer which we didn't know until it came, meaning I couldn't eat them. However they were devoured by my companions. Then we got 3 thalis. 2 chicken and 1 veg. A nice variety and meant we could try a little of everything. Can't compare to other Nepalese places in oxford as this was the first one we tried. If service was better/friendlier/faster it'd be a full 5 stars Prices were reasonable. We would all return.
