Food is out of this world! No pics of the meal as it didn't last long enough!

First time went there, spicy chicken burger, although not spicy, tasted really nice, will visit again.

It was on a very busy weekend for a Reading festival that we visited for a quick bite - lots of people to serve but once the top floor was opened there was enough seating for everyone. Good service and the usual food quality.

If I brought a food probe with me all the food would be under 63 degrees which is a health and saftey risk. Team lazy, rather chat about while tabels are dirty, and customer have to clean their own tabels. All burgers cold, chips cold and I have seen the manager refry the chips before. Not happy about service here, needs a change.

We had lunch here today. We really enjoyed our meal. My husband had the chicken tenders and I had the spicy chicken meal. The chicken was really nice, spicy and tasty. We had a good dining experience. The chicken is so good.

Very disappointed when ordering online to get delivered. Today I ordered with just eat. My order was 2 pc spicy chicken joy meal, I ended up receiving the non spicy one and to top of off, they have me double the order of something I didn’t even ask for. So I ended up getting double the amount of food that I didn’t even want. 4 pieces of plain chicken joy and 2 gravy. I am disappointed as this is not the first time I’m getting the wrong thing when I get it delivered.

Cold distasteful food with small quantities. Literally everything was cold be it burgers or fries Never will visit again or recommend anyone. Awfully slow even if though it’s supposedly a fast food restaurant! Man emptying bins using same gloves and going in kitchen with same gloves and apron. Disgusted

It is my favorite spot to eat lunch so whatever you eat it's good.

1st time here and we will be back. Food delicious and friendly staff. Takes a little longer to get the order but that's because it's cooked fresh and it's worth the wait

The quality of the food quite decent and nice, a bit overpriced but waiting time was fast. The food was mainly the best part of the experience but I can't say the same thing about the staff. I'm not entirely sure if whether this employee still works there. But whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal it was disturbed numerously by her. At first, we spoke with her making conversations and putting on smiles but then she kind of over stepped and asked us to write a 5 star review. She did not do it in a threatening way however she did not leave until we did it. She took us step by step telling us what to write and it felt very pressuring. Not to mention she bribed us with ice cream if we wrote it. I'm sure the restaurant has lots of other staff who are kind and respectful but this employee just wasn't. Thank you for the lovely food there though!

The food is decent. Its not my first choice of places to eat but if I lose my way and track of thought I might walk in 😂. I used to know someone who worked here. It was on payday and he was dancing in the store room and twisted his ankle. He had to take a few weeks off. When he came back they sacked him.

I went to Jollibee just to try but now I would make Jollibee my permanent fast food restaurant. Their food had a all new style, it took a while but it was with and the atmosphere was delightful TRY NOW OR ME TAKE YOUR DOG

The food is really good, but I gave it 4 stars because the selection is incomplete—there's no palabok or burger yum, and the spaghetti doesn't have the original Jollibee flavor. The service is quite poor due to slow speed, likely because they seem understaffed.

Chicken joy is jollylicious as expected. The Jolly Hotdog and Spaghetti is amazingly yummy. However, the burger steak should be on the menu. Also, considering the summer weather, airconditioning should be turned on. It’s so hot inside the store.

Ordered spicy chicken burger meal. Delivered, received a can of coke as expected, smallest fried I’ve ever seen, barely 20 fries and the smallest chicken burger ever. Burger was ok but I’ve had far better. Daughter had the cheeseburger meal and she said it wasn’t great. Massively overrated and overpriced.

Chaos. They lost my order, lied about calling my number, then gave me something completely different. No one seemed to know what was going on in there and the burger that they eventually gave me was below par to say the least. Avoid.

Great spicy chicken sandwich. Not spicy per se, but some moist, crispy and high quality chicken. Bun was great alongside a sauce to match. The peach mango pie was excellent as always. Shame to see the yum burger is not on the menu anymore.

Food is great but service is pretty darn slow. Not fast enough for a fast food restaurant. Nothing wrong with the employees, it seems they are working as fast as they can, just that there’s not enough employees.

Put a very specific request on my order and got the exact opposite.. I even specified not to be given breast piece and that’s exactly what I was given… the breast! Never ordering online with such service

Possibly the worst combination of disgusting food in 61 years at this Reading branch,Broad st. 1st and last time wrong order plus 2 extra drinks unwanted all flat .£37 down the drain avoid this rip off slop.

Had lunch here yesterday whilst shopping in the town. The restaurant was busy, but the queues moved well. The staff were obviously hurried but remained pleasant and kept the dining areas clean. The food was what made us decide to have lunch here. It offers a lot more than your usual fast food restaurant and with some great alternatives. It's difficult to make an honest review without trying more from the menu, but the burgers were tasty, and the two types of loaded fries went down well. The price was a little more than similar establishments, but probably worth it. All in all, a great alternative with still plenty to try on the menu. Will stop again when next in the area.

Only complaint delivery guy called to say I must come and get my order he was outside my house and did not come to my door I have ring doorbell to challenge I also gave a tip not a happy with delivery service. If this is what the delivery service is about I will not order from here again .

Service is subpar, with slow delivery of food and unhygienic practices such as using the same gloves for serving and cleaning. However, they do replace them. The other aspects are satisfactory, with good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

I really enjoyed the food and the service. Estella was really friendly, the food was tasty and different from other restaurants. (Updating this after 2 years) Was forced by staff to write this.

Get the spaghetti! I get it probably once a week when I have a comfort food craving.

Tried it for the first time, 4 meals of chicken burgers and a meal of BBQ chicken wrap, the chicken in all the meals were hard and dry, we couldn't take a second bite because of how hard the chicken was, i asked for a refund, and they only refunded the burgers and the wrap even when i ordered it as a meal to start with, and even the fries were dry and cold, never going back and i dont recommend at all.

Even though I waited for a long time for the chicken, it tastes perfect. Fresh and juicy 🍗

Delicious chicken and nice steamed rice

We always visit every 2nd of June for my daughter’s birthday. It is one of her three wishes - attend mass in church, spend the whole day with family, and eat in Jollibee. This has been going on for 2 consecutive years now. We’re making a new family tradition with me and my husband’s childhood favourite, Jollibee.

Awesome food, kind staff (Estella)

I have been waiting a while to try Jollibee but was sadly disappointed by the experience. I ordered from the self service screen which oddly prompted me an unusually high number of times to buy add ons…very strange. Might be worth checking the screen nearest the till as that didn’t allow you to pay so we needed to requeue for the other screens. I ordered spicy tenders, 3pc spicy meal and my girlfriend ordered the spaghetti meal with a piece of chicken. Wait time wasn’t that long I’d say 5-6 minutes which was good. Chicken tasted dry and like it had been sat there a while. Overall the taste was disappointing as it wasn’t a tasty spicy chicken tender or piece of chicken as you would imagine for such a high quality brand. I don’t want to sound harsh here but It really was average fried chicken that you can get from all the other varieties of chicken shops down that road. The batter was overcooked and chicken was really dry so disappointing on the palette on first bite…It did come with some skinny chips which the chips didn’t taste too bad so scored a point. Sadly the spaghetti wasn’t a hit either and in honestly I think it has more hype than taste. Feedback was that it was really sweet tasting which sounds strange but again the quality was rubbery and seemed off. Maybe it was a bad day for Jollibees Reading but with the Chicken fast food business so saturated with competition the Chicken needs improvement big time to keep up. I believe this branch just isn’t up to the standards of other Jollibees as I have read about so I’ll look to try elsewhere but so far wasn’t worth the cost/time for lunch and we left most of the food as we were disappointed.

I’m somewhat of a frequent customer at jollibee as the Cardiff branch has been very good to me in the past, sad to say, the same can’t be said about this branch. Yesterday, I ordered the 2 pc chicken joy meal for £7.99. What I expected was 2 golden brown pieces of chicken, but what I got was 2 oily pieces of chicken that looked like they just popped out of the freezer. The chicken was so oily that I’m now sat with a sore throat. Not only that, I know jollibee prides itself on its crispy chicken but this chicken felt more parts deep fried batter than chicken all while not being “crispy”, so the chicken ended up being chewy, cold in some places, so oily that the box had a constellation of oil blotches, and as both pieces were chicken wings, there was very little meat to actually eat even though the cuts themselves were huge. The fries are usually what keeps me coming back but they’re usually a hit or miss, as sometimes they’re sitting at the fry station from a previous batch for a good while before they’re served up. So you’re left with room temperature fries that have lost all crispiness. Another issue is that the Reading branch has an upstairs but up till this point, I’ve never been up there as there’s usually a rope closing off the stairs every day at around 5 or 6 pm. Granted the rope wasn’t tied around the staircase’s bannister yesterday, though it’s still a weird practice since jollibee is supposed to close at 10pm. A general pet peeve of mine is also that on the machine’s screen, the chicken joy is advertised using the picture of a chicken wing and a chicken drumstick, yet I’m yet to encounter a drumstick or better yet, see anyone eating a drumstick at jollibee. If you’re going to advertise 2 types of cuts then at least ensure there’s a 30% chance you’ll find a drumstick. The one good thing I have to say about my experience I’d say would be that they managed to keep the drinks in good shape, so good job on that.

Never had a bad experience with this branch - the food is always delicious and hot & the customer service is fabulous.

I stumbled across Jollibee and recognised it as a Filipino fast food place. The chicken is very crispy and tasty and the gravy is some of.the best I have tasted at a fried chicken joint. I enjoyed it. What is especially impressive is how their fried chicken is not very oily. The beef Jolliburger is good too.

I enjoy Jollibee because the food is really good, the staff are friendly and the comfortable atmosphere. The chicken is nice and crispy, paired with the gravy make it taste a lot better. 100% would come back and 100% would recommend it to other people to come with friends and family.

Burger was super disappointing. Meat tasted strange and everything was just thrown on the bottom bun.

First time so eyes wide open. Strange and not easy to use ordering point of sale. Waited for a few minutes for my spicy burger even though no one waiting. Burger came and I sat down. The area where I was sat was surrounded by rubbish and trays. I know that customers should clear them but then again it really wasn’t busy. Opened up the burger and it just looked like a couple of buns at first. There was chicken in there but it may have been a sparrow as it was that small for a burger. The best thing was the sauce as it was lovely and spicy. Just a shame that it didn’t look nice as was hardly anything in it.

Amazing 😍 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I just tried this Philippine chicken burger and it was mind blowing. So satisfying and unbelievably delicious, I didn't expect such an amazing taste. Me and my husband got the double chicken spicy meal dial it was around £20. We ordered take out, but next time we will dine in, as it was very clean and one lady was cleaning everything and everywhere. So satisfied with the staff, the restaurant and hygiene level. Also there was a sink and faucet in the center of the restaurant for whoever wants to wash their hands.

Had a bestseller solo meal which included spicy chicken sandwich, piece of spicy chicken, gravy, fries, peach mango pie and drink. The spicy chicken sandwich was the best chicken burger I've ever had. It was moist in the middle and crispy on the outside, with not too much bread, tasty sauce and the spice was just right. The fries were fresh and crispy, gravy was great and the peach mango pie was way better than McDonald's boring apple pie. Admittedly, service isn't the fastest and it's pricey compared to KFC but food was worth it. I'm hoping the price will improve as they expand and gain economies of scale and improved logistics.

Today I saw 2 pieces of chicken on the floor that one of the staff picked up and put back into the tray of other fried chicken next to him. It put me off my fried chicken that I ordered so I just didn't eat it.
