I’d been wanting to experience this restaurant for a while! I live locally and has tried their penang curry a couple of times as a takeaway but having my sister come to stay, I finally had a chance to experience eating in. It’s very small and cosy (I’m sure the table & chair right by the door is a fire hazard! 🙃) but it does have a nice warm and welcoming vibe. The waitress was lovely and the menu choices looked so good it was difficult to choose what to have. We ended up sharing the spring rolls & chicken gyoza to start, both were very very good! For mains, my sis had chicken pad Thai and I had prawns with ginger & spring onion. Both looked good but unfortunately we found both dishes to be strangely sweet. It was hard to describe but the sweetness ruined it a little for us which was a shame as we were very much looking forward to it. I will still try Siam town again, as I’m hoping it was just a one off? I really want to like this place so will definitely be giving it another go and trying some different dishes next time.

This was the first meal out I have had since the beginning of the pandemic. This place has a fairly large concrete garden area for dining and drinks. The staff here are very hard working, friendly and attentative. I ordered the satay chicken which was very good as was the satay sauce it comes with. The spare ribs were very flavourful, well cooked and were coated in a sticky soy glaze. The chicken garlic with peppers was particularly good. The coating was well seasoned, crispy yet delicate and the chicken itself incredibly tender. I also ordered a beef massamun curry with rice and noodles, all of which tasted great. Drinks were all served nice and cold. Can not fault this place at all and well done to them for providing such an exceptional experience.

Curries were always good here when the restaurant was called Rice n Spice but since the change of name and menu the food is possibly even better with an eye on the fresh ingredients, herbs and spices. Now they definitely stand out from the crowd for exquisite flavours and excellence. I highly recommend a visit even if it is a bit off the beaten track, a really nice place to eat out with friends or a special occasion. Delicious.

The prawns tasted funky and after we told the waiters. He said that it was how it supposed to be. Clearly it wasn’t, It is not our first time eating Asian food. We were not offered a replacement dish of any sort. In the end We did not eat it and after asking for a discount the waiter felt the right to get upset with us (yes, he got upset, the poor thing and we were the one being asked to pay for bad food) he refused the discount saying that he wouldn’t do it just because we didn’t like the food?!! Good job! Keep treating your customers like that.

I have visited this restaurant a few times and it's fantastic. The food is very authentic and delicious. I am half Malaysian and the food in this restaurant is as good as what you get in Malaysia. The owner is also very friendly and I enjoy speaking with her when I visit. The char kway teow is my favourite dish. Highly recommended.

Order arrived wrong and beef was tough and tasteless like supermarket cold sandwich beef and pho was bland even with chilli oil. However the main issue was poor service which disputed wrong order, refused to rectify it and my partner feeling uncomfortable said its OK even though it wasn't. If the waitress doesn't want to work in service industry then leave. And to the company stop charging customers cash only before they eat. You are either doing it to avoid poor service issues or tax avoidance and neither is ok. The food wad so poor and bland it was first time I did not finish meal

We had a family takeaway treat delivered. I have experienced Nepalese food before and enjoyed it so I opted for these dishes on the menu, the other three family members were keen to share their dishes so we ended up with a buffet experience. The portions were good and the flavours authentic. If you prefer a more traditional Indian dish they are available on the menu, however it is worth experimenting with some of the less known dishes too. I enjoyed all the other meals on our buffet! My only complaint is that there was not a vegetable rice on the takeaway menu. I look forward to another meal on our return.
