Siam Town in Croydon

I popped in here with my mum for an impromptu lunch during the week. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we decided to order some spring rolls, spicy rice noodles with chicken and a basil stir fry for me. The food arrived steaming hot and was okay but was nothing extraordinary. The prices are very competitive however and the restaurant proved popular, with the tables filling up quickly. I am not sure I would return though because I’ve had better Thai food elsewhere but I’m glad to have tried it.

The food was fantastic, as was the warm welcome and the atmosphere. Bring your own drinks made this an incredibly good value meal If I lived nearby this would be a weekly visit

I love this place, the food is full of flavour and the staff is super welcoming, I would eat here everyday if I could! My favourite dish is their green curry.

Me and my partner visited this place for lunch having gone past it for the last two years. We had no expectations or idea on the quality. It was really nice and mirrored good food you get in Thailand. We had a mix of starters. Dumplings the best and two mains, one penang curry and spicy noodles. Well priced and tasty cooking with a mix of flavours. Will come again 👍

First try for us (Friday), returning with family this coming Wednesday. Limited selection but what we had was excellent.

What a gem! Loved the food. Small menu, but nice variety. Price is so affordable. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere is cosy. It's a must! Will go back again and again!

A small restaurant, very friendly and well decorated. Friendly staff. All food cooked fresh in the small kitchen. The dishes are amazing. All well cooked and very tasty! There is no bar but a small corkage charge for the bottles you take in.

Always yummy food and lovely staff :) our favourite local! We try and get different every-time, but the green Thai curry and coconut rice is amazing!

Small cafe style restaurant - but great food and excellentg service from the owners who run and operate this great place - with a special vegetarian menu making it easy to select a meal if vegetarian.

A surprise to find this restaurant. Great food at a reasonable price. Great service too. Thoroughly recommend Siam Town. No liquor license so take your own for a £2 corkage fee.

Heard good things about this place so ordered takeaway and oh boy are we glad we did. Food was by far the best tasting thai we've had either eat in or takeaway.......already booking for birthday celebration in a couple of weeks. Highly recommended

Tiny place recommended by friend . Byo which is great . The food is amazing & you can see the chef busy cooking everything freshly. Booking essential at the weekend! We shared starters & had noodles & massaman curries . Lots of veggie options too . Coming again !!!

Excellent as usual.. tiny restaurant but don't be fooled ! The staff are amazing you can see the chef cooking your food in the tiny kitchen.. its just beautiful.. 100% Excellent food,cheap,definitely recommend.

I've eaten in here and had a very good meal at a reasonable price. More recently I ordered a lunchtime takeaway and was pleased with the generous portions and rich flavoursome food. My panang curry was lovely and rich with a good mix of vegetables and thinly sliced chicken.

This is Croydon in Surrey, not Cambridgeshire. Distinctly underwhelmed. Stir fry cashew - lists chillies but no chilli in it whatsoever. Flavourless prawn toasts and pad Thai . Coconut rice was good. Overall very disappointing.

Delicious, super fresh food at a reasonable price. There are plenty of vegetarian options (make sure you ask them to hold the fish/oyster sauce). It's byo with a corkage charge of £2pp listed on the menu. It's quite small so worth booking at peak times...

I ate here for the first time yesterday. The food was fantastic and full of flavour. The prices are very reasonable. There is a Bring your Own alcohol policy. I will definitely be going back soon.
