The best restaurants serving Asian food in Chelmsford East of England

We waited 40 minutes for our food, and not once did the staff think to mention the ridiculous wait time when we ordered. After 30 minutes, he finally strolled over to casually let us know they were out of rice noodles and they hadn’t even started preparing our food. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced too. £12 for a bowl at a market stall with no heating. That’s almost restaurant pricing. At least you could get some warm and a glass of tap water there. Save your money and your time. This place is not it.

I love this restaurant. Business has taken me to Chelmsford twice so far and on the first occasion, this restaurant was recommended to me and I am so grateful! The restaurant is very well decorated and it has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are happy and very attentive. You will be well looked after! The food! The food is just fantastic! On my second visit, I ordered Choila and Nepalese Lamb Shank (plus rice and poppadoms). The dishes were simply excellent and I am looking forward to my next business trip to Chelmsford!

Seems to be using less meat in the dishes, was just unexpected always been decent here, not sure will be rushing back just yet as it was lacking and expensive for what there was.

We had been looking forward to trying the ROK kitchen and were not disappointed. We received a very nice welcome and were quickly seated. The ROK is only small but there are several tables and a couple outside. The menu caters for both meat and non meat eaters. We settled for loaded katsu curry fries with chicken and a chicken rice bowl with the ROKs home made Gochujang hot sauce, lovely! All the food was delicious. Theres tofu and quorn onions for non meat eaters. There's also a great selection of drinks including ROK lager brewed by the Brentwood Brewery and other local beers. Prices were reasonable for both food and drinks. Really enjoyed it and will return.

Food it’s Absolutely Delicious and Amazing! I have to say it’s best in Chelmsford! I did collection all the time and always on time and very friendly plus I have always 10% collection Discount! Happy Customer Here 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Take away , very watery sauce should be thick not greasy and runny very dissatisfied

So damn good. Will order again. The drunken noodles are just the ticket. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!!

We had a great family night out , the food was excellent and the service was fantastic, we had a fun time with our waiter Raj and the team !!

We were very sad when the previous business at this location closed, but having ordered from here twice now it’s a firm favourite. Even with a delivery, there was a personal service and very reasonably priced for the quality. The only thing that would improve it is if they had vegetarian options for all of their standard mains. There are a lot of very average Indian restaurants in Chelmsford so glad to have a new favourite takeaway.

The meal we got was the worst slop I’ve ever seen. They need their chef to take lessons in how to cook. Never going there again and would recommend all avoid at all costs.

Lovely takeaway from Mango. It took a while, but it was lovely, South Indian chicken madras, tarka dall. Extras too. Very nice
