Mango in Chelmsford

Lovely takeaway from Mango. It took a while, but it was lovely, South Indian chicken madras, tarka dall. Extras too. Very nice

Really delicious food - plentiful and fresh. Excellent value for money and plenty of choice. Our Server was really attentive. An enjoyable evening and will definitely return.

Went with a large party and they could not handle this and should never have taken booking. Giving us previous customers drinks out of fridge and serving reheated leftovers. Only one member of staff working there.

Amazing service. There ia a meal deal on at thr moment.... £30 for a starter of md's choice ! We had a nice selection of bits.... main side and rice or naan.... and drink included £30!!!!... pp

Ordered a takeaway last Saturday evening through Just eat and was advised around an hour, food turned up after about 40 minutes so all good. Had ordered the expensive Royal biriyani approx £15.00 and a sag aloo so in total £24.00 with delivery. Opened the biriyani and surprised to see no chicken or lamb tikka, just plain chicken and lamb, something that was supposed to be a tandoori king prawn and what can only be described as a completely incinerated chop of some kind, not minced meat or a sheek kebab. Tried calling at around 10.15pm and guess what no answer so on this occasion either just unlucky with the food or clearly not interested in listening to a complaint........sadly was really looking forward to this as had been highly recommended

Went in for quick snack got 2 wraps was disgusting cold and small got charged £19.50 would not go back again only too complain not having one over on me looked on there menu could have meal for that don't use

Went to the Mango for the first time last night. Absolutely fantastic food at very reasonable prices. The staff were attentive and really lovely. If you are looking for a great Indian meal, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the prices are very reasonable. Mike was a generous and cheerful host. There were not many guests but I would encourage anyone to try a visit.

I don’t usually write such a bad review as I like to give the benefit of doubt but our visit to Mango was terrible. We sent for the Sunday Buffet with my in- laws of which my father in law is disabled and in a wheelchair. When we arrived there was plenty of tables but within 30 mins the place was full up. The only person serving which included taking orders, serving drinks, and dealing with take away orders was the owner/manager, whilst I felt sorry for him he should have made sure he had staff available. It took 45 mins to get our starters which were ok but very few varieties. After the starters we waited a further 1 hour for the actual Buffet and during this 1hr 45 mins only managed to obtain 2 drinks as well. All the other people were asking what was happening to their order, it was chaos. When the food arrived it was cooked ok but again there was 12/14 small dishes but 3 of them were doubled, Bombay potatoes, cauliflower, chicken tikka, overall nothing to shout about. Yes it was cheap at £15 a head but the service was so slow, my father in law was getting very concerned as he can’t stay long in places due to disability and here we were 2 hours and only starting our main dish. If you’re happy to wait, maybe this is got a usual occurrence and want average food then fine, but we will not be returning and definitively NOT recommending

We visited on a Saturday night and it wasn’t crowded but had to wait about 1 1/2 hours for starters. All the food served was excellent quality in both taste and appearance. The staff are always very friendly and the presentation is top class. The only improvement is that the Takeaway or delivery trade seemed to be given priority over the customers actually in the restaurant which could perhaps change. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and think it’s one of the best in the area. Most definitely be back. Thank you

This was a last minute choice the atmosphere service and the food were excellent.one of the best currys I have had this is so ething special as I come from Bradford the curry capital of the north.. fantastic food!
