Girlfriend phoned up and asked what time they shut and they told her 22:00-22:30. Walked there at 20:30 and was shut so I guess business was poor that night, can’t think why. The finest twatery behaviour from an establishment.

Excellent communication when ordering over the phone. Decent prices, good portions and welcoming staff. Highly recommend their chicken rajeshwari! Best part is their free complimentary popadums with every meal.

Visited last night and we all had an excellent takeaway meal recommended by my daughter 😊 will definitely visit again

Our go too takeaway every Friday evening and has been since we moved here 13 yrs ago. Very friendly service on the phone. Chicken and lamb are always tender and all dishes are consistently delicious. It’s always my first takeaway when we get back home from our hols.

Went back as they sent me a voucher, when the food arrived it wasn’t very hot, and wasn’t great. Driver wouldn’t let me see the receipt when I questioned the price, they over charged on the delivery and was a lot more expensive than they quote on the menu, and nicely seemed to cancel out most of the discount from the voucher. Won’t be returning!

We had a meal delivered on Saturday evening, and it came within the specified timescale which was excellent. The food however was quite disappointing. My husband had the Lamb Hasina and I had Chicken Shashlik. Whilst both were quite tasty, the amount of meat was insufficient for the price paid, (£8.50 and £7.50 respectively). Both meals were bulked up with large tomatoes and big pieces of onion. The amount of chicken in my Shashlik was probably not even one small chicken breast. Additionally, there was too much tandoori paste on the Shashlik, which I had to scrape off. The other dishes were ok and as expected, (vegetable curry and bombay potatoes). Overall, not happy, and probably won't go back given that there are other alternatives in the area.

One of the Indian Home Cuisine in the area, the food is exceptional and perfect for all days of the week. The menu has lots of variety fully of traditional Indian Flavours.

We used this place for the first time on New Year’s Eve when usual place had a very long wait and wasn’t disappointed. Friendly service on the phone, delivery came when expected and food was all well received.

I've loved Pink Garlic for years...Still love their Chicken tikka saag Chef special...but my husband and son are vegetarian and sadly our meal on New years day for them consisted of mainly onions and peas, sauces that seemed exactly the same for 2 supposedly different dishes and one sauce meant to be thick was bland and runny. My other sons prawns were tasteless and watery. Hubby has been moaning about the veggie options here for months now and won't let us buy from here again so sadly that's it for me...but what a shame when more and more folk are going veggie that you let them down so much, not even a tofu option, and the options you do have are so badly made for them. Very disappointing. And had a few problems with the online ordering system too...all in all it seems to be trying to get new and more customers at the expense of the ones who've supported them for years.

Had a take away friday night disgusting. Vindaloo was too salty and was like hienz tomato soup. Never had such a rubbish curry.

The pathia I ordered was blanned and watery with shrimps it seemed rather than the king prawn I had ordered and paid for , the chiefs special tasted like the same dish ! Although the curry turned up hot and quite quickly overall was disappointing

Awful service, two ladies at the desk spoke to me like a piece of dirt and pretty much called me a liar when they said they’d only honour their 10% off collection when I paid by cash. This was never mentioned on the phone.... finally paid by cash after visiting a cash point and my order was wrong. I’ll certainly be avoiding in the future.

We went to collect our take away and found the place was in a very poor state with floors sticky and dirty. Even the man that was behind the counter did not look much better. We still took the risk for some stupid reason as they was recommended to us but when we got home (5 min drive) we found the food cold and even 2 of the chicken dishes had raw chicken in them......... My husband went straight back there to be abused and treated like a bit of crap that was on their floor. He left the food on the counter and walked out. We have reported them to the council and food standard agency stay safe and stay well away

If you like Indian cuisine you will like this takeaway restaurant, as they have a very good & varied menu which caters for all tastes. The staff there are very friendly & can provide you with an authentic Indian meal for a very reasonable price.

Great take away serving consistently good food from an extensive menu. The chicken dhansak is delicious with large tender succulent pieces of breast meat. Great service and cheery staff.

Pedimos comida para llevar en vía a comer ajo rosa. La comida se convirtió rápidamente. Sin embargo, nos envió el plato equivocado. Cuando llamamos para avisar que era muy grosero, nos echaron y dijeron que imputado el orden en el mal. Nos registramos y nos mostró ordenados correctamente! Me dijeron que tendría que pagar por un reemplazo! Además de esto, la carne era muy duro, y no tenía nada de sabor.

Very disappointing - have used the pink garlic on many occasions previously but the standard of the food this time was extremely poor. No salad with the Tikka main, no mint sauce with the poppadoms or Tikka and the poppadoms themselves were greasy and inedible. Will not be using again

If you fancy a great Indian takeaway then the Pink Garlic is the place for you, they have an excellent menu to choose from & their culinary offerings are prepared by an award winning chef. All their food is freshly cooked to a very high standard & can be purchased for a very reasonable price.

Used Pink garlic in the past and have to say that this online system never seems to work properly. Previously we've experienced the order not go through at all using the online system, today after speaking to a lady working there on the phone (she was quite polite) I can only deduce it was a delivery fault. The food isn't bad but they left out parts of the order, if you're going to use pink garlic, order over the phone, do not use the online system. Have to give a low rating as the service has been pretty poor on more than one occasion, the food is usually nice but tonight and previously there's been order issues that need sorting, although again I will say that the staff do seem nice, it's simply the problems with the orders. Wouldn't have been so bad if in both occasions they would have offered some new fresh food or just added another drink to the order or something as a lot of places would do.

Had a takeaway from here. All dishes tasted the same. Very bland. The kebabs were rather rubbery and the meat in the curry dish was very fatty. Will not use again.

Delivery staff were very friendly. Naan was burnt though and king prawns were all chopped up and small (obviously trying to pad out the meal) and one still had hard crispy shell on it, this was very crunchy and put me off the rest of my dinner.

Menu is confusing. They have tried to update items/prices but have left the old ones on. Good quality food and tasty. If there are 2 of the same items on the menu, pick the more expensive one as that's the correct choice

Large selection reasonably priced. The portions were genorous and very tasty. We look forward to other choices and would consider serving to guests. Delivery was very speedy and the food was nice and hot. Excellent overall service from order to eating. See you again soon.

Food took about 50 mins once orders but wasn't a problem as it arrived at the time that was stated, I ordered a lamb masala, probably the worst one I've ever had, the lamb was very chewy and seemed over cooked, the sauce was not very nice, the rest of the food was adequate

A good curry restaurant in South Woodham is the Pink Garlic, they have many appetizing starters to choose from in their comprehensive menu as well their Tandoori specialities & chef's specials & various vegetable side dishes to compliment these main courses. The staff their are very friendly & accommodating, the food is very good & all at a very reasonable price.

Trying this restaurant for the first time and I am extremely impressed, after making the decision of not returning to our regular Indian restaurant we decided to try this one. The price is reasonable and the portions are big, the wait time for our delivery was only around 20-30minutes.Defiantly will be returning

Good food - regularly order from them. Can take a little long - but in some ways I find this a bit reassuring to know that things might be being prepared freshly. Perhaps some of their curries are heavy on the sauce and light on the actual meat content - but I think this is properly at the average level for most takeaways. As such - the best place to order in the SWF region anyway.

Took about 90 mins to be delivered. I usually phone which is a lot quicker.
