The best restaurants serving Asian food in East Midlands

Another lovely meal last night for our Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely fantastic food and service every time we go. Food is cooked fresh and always tastes delicious, none of this re-heated stuff you get in some restaurants. Great menu with so many choices and great speciality dishes - tried most of them now. Keep up the good work Cafe Mash!

The outside doesn't look inviting, with rotting window frames. Downstairs isn't that inviting either, but it's a waiting area fir take away collection. The restaurant is upstairs and is nicely decorated. The toilets are very clean and modern. The food was excellent. Reasonable prices. The service was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Soooooooo over priced. Holy moly!! You get next to no food, teeny tiny portions (not exaggerating at least half the size of every other take-away) you pay at least £2 more for each dish than you would anywhere else. AND the quality is shockingly poor. I ordered food about £50 for 2 people assuming we would have seconds, maybe thirds the next day. There was barely enough for a portion each, and we've had to eat a second time tonight, and both meals were terrible quality, undercooked dumplings, over cooked squid, wrong tasting thai curries with cucumber? Almost 0 veg, there were only 4 prawn toasts in a portion, and it had little to no flavour. ... Neither of us will eat a huge meal, and saying there was barely enough for two portions in £50 worth of food from a takeaway is saying a lot. I'm never buying from here again, I have no idea why it's 4.7 stars!

Had the jajangmyeon with pork and beef gimbab delivered was absolutely delicious so fresh and Ive been craving it since I could eat it every day and never get sick of it can’t wait to try more !

Absolutely amazing in every single way. Such a friendly welcome, so felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. It was a Saturday night and very busy, but waiting staff took orders quickly enough, with a genuine smile, and were all very lovely. The whole restaurant has a great vibe, spotlessly clean and beautiful decor/lighting. And the food - WOW!!! I literally can't remember the last time I tasted food with this depth of flavour. And the chef came over for a quick chat at the end of our meal to apologise for us not getting the full experience as it was such a busy night. There's more?! We were happy enough with everything as it was, so can't wait to return! The perfect restaurant. Adored it!

Lovely Nepalese food.Plenty of choice, and good portion size.Very friendly staff,always ready to help.My first time there,but I must say I was overwhelmed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, the quick service from the staff, the piping hot food which was colourful, tasty and high quality.I can recommend this restaurant 100%.The staff definitely earned their tip and deserved it.Keep up the quality team.

Always a warm welcome here, it's been a regular venue for me since they opened, yes of course some visits are better than others, that's life, but the owners and staff are always accommodating and endeavour to make sure you have what you want and need.. Special tweaks to menus etc for allergens and dietary needs are usually possible, just ask. Dish explanations and recommendations are readily available. Friends from many miles away (London, Portsmouth and Swansea) always like to go here when they visit as they feel looked after and feel it's good value and quality.. Thank you, keep up the good work.

Most of the pig's trotter rice is very lean meat, and there is another 20% tax + 1% tip.

We just had a lovely family evening at The Raj. It was great from start to finish. The staff make you feel so welcome and the food was delicious. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. I personally enjoyed the best Lamb Madras I've ever tasted. We are already planning our next visit.

Came here for my partners birthday in December, was a little slow on service but despite that it was more than enough. Very welcoming.
