The best restaurants serving Asian food in Nottingham East Midlands

Wow just wow, my fiance treated me to a last minute meal out. From the moment we came in it felt like we were coming to eat at a friend's understated but perfectly welcoming apartment (a highly trained chef/surgeon skilled friend at that). The hosts were wonderful with our first server giving a great run down of the simple but amazingly curated menu. Our main server Georgia was an absolute joy and made the experience all the more better. Sometimes when a rare 10 out of 10 dish is served, time seems to slow or stop entirely. When we tucked into the radish cake (which was described as the underdog of the menu) as I closed my eyes to enjoy it, time didnt just stop....time went backwards and as I opened them again I found myself wondering what year it was! A truly fabulous experience that everybody in Nottingham should enjoy. Beautiful Raman created by true artists with a balance of flavours that deserve the highest accolades. Superb through and through! Great service, great food, great atmosphere.

Came here for my partners birthday in December, was a little slow on service but despite that it was more than enough. Very welcoming.

Very disappointed with my second visit to Mr man's. Constantly asked if we are ready to order. Starters were given out without correct explanation meaning someone ate someone else's starter so had to wait for another one to be prepared. My ribs starter wasn't even ribs, it was battered chunks of grisly meat. They missed a main meal, which would have been remedied sooner if they came to check. When it arrived the only apology was a joke that they didn't want to serve it raw. Value for money was terrible, i will not be back.

Had a mixed grill that was really nice and value for money. Would recommend the lamb chops.

This place got fined, and prosecuted for serious offences, Now it's even better I went back and got a burger and chips it was hot tasty and fresh well done for the health and safety standards improvements

one of the worst experience I've ever had. The bald head guy is just a typical rip off and charges customers as he likes and not by the price tag and are charging £1 per person to sit on a table to eat. Worst food and sweets ever. The barfi we have brought was certainly 2 weeks old. certainly not recommending this to any food eater

Buscaba la experiencia de la comida coreana para barbacoa y Nagoyaka no me decepcionó presentándonos también al hotpot coreano, utilizando nuestra propia placa y parrilla de trabajo. El camarero fue muy entusiasta y nos mostró cómo hacer salsas y sugirió combinaciones de alimentos de la excelente variedad de productos frescos, muchos de los cuales nunca he usado como ingrediente. Esto no solo es una gran experiencia culinaria sino también una educación, y no hay necesidad de ningún otro entretenimiento para la noche, ya que todo es teatro. Llévate a algunos amigos, un gran apetito y diviértete en un ambiente muy amigable.

I order two burger meals I got everything but the burgers and haven’t had any resolve yet still waiting , it’s always just eat with the missing food

‼️I visited this venue with a few friends and was disappointed by the poor layout and cleanliness—smudges and marks marred the counter. The tables were not properly cleaned, though the seekh kebabs were decent. Unfortunately, the curry arrived cold, requiring a request for reheating, and its flavor was off. Additionally, the tea cups were not washed, and as we were still eating, the staff began clearing our dishes, seemingly in a rush to close. The half-lowered shutters made the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. On our way out, my friend accidentally bumped his head on the shutter. Thankfully, it was just a minor incident, but it could have led to more serious consequences. If management has any doubts about our experience, please review the CCTV footage from closing time on 01/18/25. The staff’s lack of consideration for the establishment suggests it's in dire need of improvement—a disaster waiting to happen.

Minor food poisoning right after having their steamboat buffet. The fish fillets are at its worst quality as it seems like being left in the fridge for ‘years’ and the meat slices are so smelly. The hygiene of the shop is not doing well and the ventilation is bad as well. Think twice before harming your body!

Good value of food, quick service. No countless payment is a little inconvenient tho.
