It is a small restaurant with no more than 10 tables so it is best to reserve. The service is good but slow, it took us 45 minutes for the food to be brought to a group of 4. The beer is delicious and authentic. The food is very good, without a doubt one of the best ramen I have had in the area. There is an optional additional service that they put on your account.

I went to eat with some friends. We didn't order any starters and went straight to the ramen. I ordered the Tonkotsu which had very good flavor but was a little salty. The cooking of the noodles was perfect. I recommend making a reservation in advance since it is a very busy place. Keep in mind that they are a little slow in service, so if you are hungry, order a starter and don't hurry, it took approximately 40 minutes to bring us our food. They include the service but you can ask them to remove it.

Staff are very friendly. Food is alright but the ramen is slightly too salty in my opinion, makes it hard to finish the soup even after eating all the noodles and meat/veggies. It also gets loud in there because it’s a popular place so beware of that! Interior decor is lovely though. My main problem with this place is that the prices are too steep in my opinion. 16£ for a regular-sized bowl of ramen along with 12% service charge that automatically gets added is a bit too much for what you’re getting. Also saw the price of 8£ just for 1 small corn dog is not worth it at all especially when there’s another store in town that does a better/bigger corn dog for half the price. If you don’t mind splurging then come here for a special day!

6 stars for everything - its gets better and better and better. I have visited about 8 or so times now and this restaurant keeps improving particularly the broth. The menu has some amazing starters including the signature corn dog. The prawn crackers are superb and very different from what one gets in traditional Chinese take aways. These are huge and thick and made from different ingredients. Starters I always go for the pickles as these are piquant and also very healthy. The ramen here if of course, the star of the show and there are always special options on the board to check as well as the menu. I have tried the dry ramen but the ones with broth are superior in my opinion. Their tonkotsu- a pork bone broth- is layered with oils and is sublime. The shoyu is also highly tasty. Don't be put off by the vegan one - the broth on that is probably the best flavoured you might find. Staff are always really friendly and well trained and the place is spotlessly clean. Great range of saki and beers too which are very different like rice lager. This is a lively and popular place so booking is generally advised.

What a groovy little place! Came here for food before a gig a couple of weeks ago and it was such a lovely experience. All of the flavours were beautifully thought out. We had the crispy chicken skin which had a great crunch and a small kick, they were like elevated pork cracklings The ramen bowls were incredible, the flavours in the broths were so unique. The Shio bowl had an incredible citrus undertone, and was perfectly rich and had so much depth. The brothless duck dish (the name escapes me) was stunning, duck breast and crispy duck leg, with an egg yolk and noodles + various vegetables, this was so rich and creamy, and I liked that it required you to vigorously stir it to make the most of it! The drinks on offer were amazing, unfortunately they were out of the negroni on offer, however the other drinks were nicely curated, the mikkeller Rice Lager was very tasty. However the Apple Everyday was amazing, creamy strawberry foam on top and a tart apple cocktail beneath, really unique. All in all an amazing experience and really elevated our trip to Nottingham, service was lovely and we would come back if we were ever here again.

Such a lovely place! The atmosphere and decor are very nice! The customer service is 10/10. Had the vegan ramen and it was very tasty, however I wish they had a protein like tofu! It would’ve made the ramen a 10/10. Specially for the price (£1 cheaper than the meat ones), I would be more than fair adding a piece of protein.

This independent restaurant is worth every single bit of hype it receives. The most delicious ramen, freshly cooked, piping hot, made right in front of you in the open kitchen, along with a menu that changes with the seasons, offering a range of sides and drinks. This place is a must-visit in Nottingham. The restaurant is super comfy and has such a cool vibe, and the staff are friendly and fun. The food is just knockout good, and the prices are so reasonable for the freshness and deliciousness of the food. I would highly recommend the shrimp crackers, as well as ANY ramen. Also, ask your server for the range of lemonades on offer - I've tried so many now but still want to try more! My favourites are the lychee lemonade and the blueberry lemonade. The lunch deal is amazing. This is the best place to eat in the city, by far.

I came here on the off chance as a loan diner on a Saturday evening. I walked past had a look in and liked what I saw. I was placed on the counter so had the advantage of watching the kitchen staff at work. I plumped for the rice lager, very good it was too. Firstly there were the Japanese pickles, crunchy carrots, spring onions in soy, mooli and unctuous cucumber. The main event was a comforting broth with noodles, courgette, edemame, pak Choi and a boiled egg. Superb and really well balanced. To finish was a citrusy digestif. A great meal in a pleasant environment, with efficient and hard working staff. If you are In Nottingham, you must try this place. Hearty recommended.

This place is amazing. I went here today my 3rd time. It's that good, I had to go back. I took my my friend who had never been. We shared the starters of the prawn toast and some of this fried squash thingy. Both were amazing. But I have to say the Prawn toast was one of the best things we've ever had. Its like the prawn is injected into the bread. Literally amazing. It's spongy, and soft. I have never really eaten anything like it. The Ramens are the best in the Nottingham. I'm not a Vegan but I had the Vegan choice because I'm a massive mushroom fam. It's unreal. My mate had the belly of pork one. He said it was next level. I can't say because he would not let me share. But all in all this is the king of Ramen. Love it. I have to add the beer choice is quality too. Rice lager beer really complements all the food. Booom.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. What an awful place to try and eat. The sound bouncing off the hard surfaces makes it impossible to think, let alone hear. I thought that the whole point of eating out was to be social, not here. A complete waste of time and money. With so many places to eat out in Nottingham I’d avoid here at all costs. It’s not for people with ADHD/autism or those with hearing aids, or people over 25. They really should put an advisory on the door. Head over to the restaurant next door as that place is always effortlessly delicious or the Japanese place on Carlton road. Also, isn’t it time in this multi-gendered age to train your staff to address people in a more inclusive way other than the patriarchal ‘guys’? The food may have been nice but I’ve never gobbled anything up so fast as to exit the place as quick as possible. Oh no I remember now, the ‘tender’ pork could just about be torn apart with teeth and hands working furiously. As I say there are better places with more welcoming interiors than everyday people.

Really wanted to come here as I've heard such great things from family and friends. It was a Sunday but before a bank holiday Monday, so we thought we'd check in case it was open a bit later given the day off the next day. When we arrived, the door was open with the 'open' sign facing towards me. However, it looked fairly empty, though there was plenty of bowls still on the table. We went outside again to double check the opening times on the menu, and a man (seemingly the chef?) came out aggressively stating that they're closed and they shut at 6. I brushed it off and tried to be light hearted by saying the sign made it appear that it was still open, and was met again with a very rude response. We were quite accepting of the fact that it may have been closed, but just thought we'd check on the off chance. There was no need for this aggressive manner. It really shocked both my friend and I, which unfortunately stayed with us the whole evening. I was really looking forward to trying out such highly recommended food, but will be avoiding now.

The cucumber salad was refreshing & delicious. The tan tan’s depth of flavor was out of this world, I wanted to eat it all but was full. I wish I’d taken it home now. We also ordered the prawn crackers and chilli sauce, which is why we couldn’t finish the most amazing dish sadly. By far the best ramen I've had in Nottingham (not that the competition is fierce!), a very friendly staff, and just a nice overall place. Clean, not too big not too small, comfortable. The food feels very authentic and isn't rushed but does not take ages either, and the portions are very reasonable in size (shared a starter and had a bowl of ramen and I felt full). The only negative point I could think of would be the very strange choice of only proposing the tan tan ramen with lamb and not leaving the choice of meat to the customer.

Despite the harsh economic climate in the UK for restaurant operators, it's great that Nottingham has the fortune to host some of the best eateries. Everyday people is bang on with its clean cut image, showcasing the skilled, friendly and energetic kitchen staff, on full view of the diners. This is certainly not a cheap meal, but for what they deliver, the value is quite exceptional. I'm no gastronomic expert, but this is a great way to experience what Raman is all about. My ignorance was kindly and expertly accommodated by the cheerful waiting staff and that really added to the experience this week. Not going to go into all the dishes, but everything my partner and I ordered was made to the highest standard and we're all memorable. I could mention those eggs... Just fantastic, but don't just go there for an egg and soldiers, or you'll be missing out!

Okay everyone, as Korean who visited Japan multiple times to have RAMEN, I can guarantee this place's broth is REAL. So nice and authentic you should really try them out. But there was only downside that I had to wait for too long (i haven't been told there would be a wait though) If you dont really mind waiting it will be a pleasant experience for your tongue!

Walked in by accident (we were actually headed somewhere else) and they were super busy but found us a seat at the counter so we got to watch the theatre of the kitchen (best seat in the house) I had the duck and it was delicious. Delicate breast meat, punchy flavourful leg meat meat ball and the most amazing broth. Perfectly jammy egg too. The noodles were also perfectly cooked, just the right amount of bite. We also shared some slightly spicy prawn crackers, so good! Service was attentive without being overbearing and super friendly. We'll definitely be back when next in Nottingham

Iv wanted to visit this restaurant for some time and chose to go on mother's day , my mum has a gluten intolerance, and south east Asian food is a no go for that apparently, the waiter accommodated my mistake and my mums dietary requirements amazingly and saved mothersday for me , the food was by far the best ramen iv had in the nottingham and definitely a place I will be visiting again (regularly) great food, great drink selection and a more than accommodating team .

I really like this place, been here once before with my partner, and both times we've loved it. The food is delicious, big portions, great selection of wines, and I really enjoyed the thai tea creme brulee we had for dessert. Friendly staff, it gets busy and quite loud (we were there on a saturday night) but all the same a fun atmosphere. Vegan Dan dan noodles are really good. My only criticism are the toilets. As a non binary trans person I'm always dismayed when toilets are gendered, it feels unnecessary and alienating. As far as I can tell both toilets are the same, although you can indicate a difference by writing 'urinal' or 'stall' on the door if needed. Please can you consider changing the signs on the doors to be more inclusive? I would love to recommend this place to queers I know, but this stops me from doing so.

Genuinely one of my fav places, the food is to die for, the service is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the restaurant rotates the dishes occasionally so you can always try new things! Ramen portions are also very generous, so a good deal for the amount and quality ❤️

Came for lunch and it was delicious! Great value for money with a huge bowl of ramen and snack for only £16. The woman in the black beanie who served me was also super lovely and helpful. Can’t wait to come back already!

Been there on Friday evening, so I guess wait times are always longer, but we waited very long for a bowl of ramen. The place is by no means quiet or cosy, it was impossible to talk to a person across the table without raising your voice, but that's just how the place is designed with large open space I suppose. The most important part of a restaurant is the food, and it did not disappoint! Very large and extremely delicious bowl of ramen, with highest quality ingredients all at reasonable price.

The restaurant is unique - it has a Thai ambiance with cool decorations that remind me of my trips in Thailand. It even has tuk tuks inside where you can dine. The service was attentive and they served my food relatively quickly, which surprised me a bit, considering it was a busy time. I had the Peek Gai Tod (southern style Thai deep fried chicken wings) and Pad Ga Prao (stir fried minced pork with basil and rice). The Peek Gai Tod (£6.95) was one of the most crispiest wings I’ve ever had - it came with a mild sweet sauce that complemented with it well. It didn’t have a unique flavour but the crispiness was the best part of it. The Pad Ga Prao (£13.95) was good, however, the rice was a bit dry. The portion wasn’t too small but it wasn’t also too big. It was the right amount for one person - the flavour wasn’t anything extraordinary but it was a classic. It’s fun to dine in - you can enjoy and admire the decorations while you wait. It offers amazing, large options for vegetarians and I gotta say their menu is fairly extensive. It’s worth to stop by if you want Thai food!
