Such a lovely place! The atmosphere and decor are very nice! The customer service is 10/10. Had the vegan ramen and it was very tasty, however I wish they had a protein like tofu! It would’ve made the ramen a 10/10. Specially for the price (£1 cheaper than the meat ones), I would be more than fair adding a piece of protein.

What a groovy little place! Came here for food before a gig a couple of weeks ago and it was such a lovely experience. All of the flavours were beautifully thought out. We had the crispy chicken skin which had a great crunch and a small kick, they were like elevated pork cracklings The ramen bowls were incredible, the flavours in the broths were so unique. The Shio bowl had an incredible citrus undertone, and was perfectly rich and had so much depth. The brothless duck dish (the name escapes me) was stunning, duck breast and crispy duck leg, with an egg yolk and noodles + various vegetables, this was so rich and creamy, and I liked that it required you to vigorously stir it to make the most of it! The drinks on offer were amazing, unfortunately they were out of the negroni on offer, however the other drinks were nicely curated, the mikkeller Rice Lager was very tasty. However the Apple Everyday was amazing, creamy strawberry foam on top and a tart apple cocktail beneath, really unique. All in all an amazing experience and really elevated our trip to Nottingham, service was lovely and we would come back if we were ever here again.

It’s rare to find a ramen place that does such a creative take on laksa while staying true to its roots. The depth of flavour and attention to detail in every component made it a standout. If you’re looking for something unique and flavourful, the laksa ramen here is a must-try!

A disappointing experience. While the restaurant is beautifully decorated inside, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered 3 different ramens, all of which were awfully over salted. I am aware ramen broths are high sodium, but this was off the charts. Additionally, the restaurant had the incorrect pricing on their system and tried to overcharge us for drinks.

This independent restaurant is worth every single bit of hype it receives. The most delicious ramen, freshly cooked, piping hot, made right in front of you in the open kitchen, along with a menu that changes with the seasons, offering a range of sides and drinks. This place is a must-visit in Nottingham. The restaurant is super comfy and has such a cool vibe, and the staff are friendly and fun. The food is just knockout good, and the prices are so reasonable for the freshness and deliciousness of the food. I would highly recommend the shrimp crackers, as well as ANY ramen. Also, ask your server for the range of lemonades on offer - I've tried so many now but still want to try more! My favourites are the lychee lemonade and the blueberry lemonade. The lunch deal is amazing. This is the best place to eat in the city, by far.

I came here on the off chance as a loan diner on a Saturday evening. I walked past had a look in and liked what I saw. I was placed on the counter so had the advantage of watching the kitchen staff at work. I plumped for the rice lager, very good it was too. Firstly there were the Japanese pickles, crunchy carrots, spring onions in soy, mooli and unctuous cucumber. The main event was a comforting broth with noodles, courgette, edemame, pak Choi and a boiled egg. Superb and really well balanced. To finish was a citrusy digestif. A great meal in a pleasant environment, with efficient and hard working staff. If you are In Nottingham, you must try this place. Hearty recommended.

This place is amazing. I went here today my 3rd time. It's that good, I had to go back. I took my my friend who had never been. We shared the starters of the prawn toast and some of this fried squash thingy. Both were amazing. But I have to say the Prawn toast was one of the best things we've ever had. Its like the prawn is injected into the bread. Literally amazing. It's spongy, and soft. I have never really eaten anything like it. The Ramens are the best in the Nottingham. I'm not a Vegan but I had the Vegan choice because I'm a massive mushroom fam. It's unreal. My mate had the belly of pork one. He said it was next level. I can't say because he would not let me share. But all in all this is the king of Ramen. Love it. I have to add the beer choice is quality too. Rice lager beer really complements all the food. Booom.

So I have been making homemade broths/ Dashi for Ramen for some years now.. it's extremely difficult I'm very time consuming so I hold a lot of respect for what I have eaten today the broths were very complex with a deep flavour profile. I was extremely impressed with the tan tan ramen exploding with that unami flavour.. probably one of the best marinated eggs I have had! The noodles were cooked perfectly still had the perfect amount of chew.. Never had a Korean corn dog before and that was fantastic highly recommend and the service was spot on.. also the homemade apple lemonade was brilliant.. hats off to you chaps

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. What an awful place to try and eat. The sound bouncing off the hard surfaces makes it impossible to think, let alone hear. I thought that the whole point of eating out was to be social, not here. A complete waste of time and money. With so many places to eat out in Nottingham I’d avoid here at all costs. It’s not for people with ADHD/autism or those with hearing aids, or people over 25. They really should put an advisory on the door. Head over to the restaurant next door as that place is always effortlessly delicious or the Japanese place on Carlton road. Also, isn’t it time in this multi-gendered age to train your staff to address people in a more inclusive way other than the patriarchal ‘guys’? The food may have been nice but I’ve never gobbled anything up so fast as to exit the place as quick as possible. Oh no I remember now, the ‘tender’ pork could just about be torn apart with teeth and hands working furiously. As I say there are better places with more welcoming interiors than everyday people.

It’s not everyday it’s your birthday, so where do you go to celebrate? Everyday People of course (or so I thought). I ordered the Shoyu; whilst the meat was delectable, the broth was a bit too salty and I found my arteries begging me to stop halfway through. Unfortunately that wasn’t the only body part begging for mercy that night…As this is a food review and I imagine whoever is reading this is famished, I will spare you the details but let’s say the food came out as quickly as it went in…The service was decent, and our waiter was friendly, however despite being a hopeless ramen-tic, this place fell shio-rt of my expectations.

As an Asian i wouldn't say the food here is authentic (which is why you don't see any Asian customers there😂), but it’s “customised” alright! Ingredients they used are fresh and good quality which could be the best selling point, but some dishes is a bit disappointing- Tan Tan noddle is nothing like real Tan tan noddle and way too salty. Really wanted to come here as I've heard such great things from family and friends. It was a Sunday but before a bank holiday Monday, so we thought we'd check in case it was open a bit later given the day off the next day. When we arrived, the door was open with the 'open' sign facing towards me. However, it looked fairly empty, though there was plenty of bowls still on the table. We went outside again to double check the opening times on the menu, and a man (seemingly the chef?) came out aggressively stating that they're closed and they shut at 6. I brushed it off and tried to be light hearted by saying the sign made it appear that it was still open, and was met again with a very rude response. We were quite accepting of the fact that it may have been closed, but just thought we'd check on the off chance. There was no need for this aggressive manner. It really shocked both my friend and I, which unfortunately stayed with us the whole evening. I was really looking forward to trying out such highly recommended food, but will be avoiding now.

Wow, love this place. I can’t believe it’s been here for a few years & probably walked past it. Came here for an early Saturday date night dinner with my beau. The service from The office was super prompt, friendly & helpful. Really lovely guys who were very knowledgeable about what they were serving. We ordered the house cocktail & mango margarita, smacked cucumber salad & the lamb tan tan (for him) & the Vegan tan tan for me with a ramen egg added. We both absolutely loved our dishes. The cucumber salad was refreshing & delicious. The tan tan’s depth of flavor was out of this world, I wanted to eat it all but was full. I wish I’d taken it home now. We also ordered the prawn crackers and chilli sauce, which is why we couldn’t finish the most amazing dish sadly. The server did say the tan tan was the most filling dish…oops, oh well at least we got to try a couple of small plates. We’ll be back for sure to try more. We ended our dinner with the sake special ‘Fuji Apple’ yum ☺️

Been twice now. I'm not the biggest fan of soup-noodles but I enjoyed what I had and my dining partners always loved theirs, and the portions on the ramen bowls are generous and filling. Fortunately, the small plates are amazing too! The fat on the pork belly bao was meltingly soft, and the squash ceoquettes wonderfully crispy and fresh. It's a rare thing you can pointedly not order a restaurant's speciality and not feel like you're missing out. The cocktails are great too.

By far the best ramen I've had in Nottingham (not that the competition is fierce!), a very friendly staff, and just a nice overall place. Clean, not too big not too small, comfortable. The food feels very authentic and isn't rushed but does not take ages either, and the portions are very reasonable in size (shared a starter and had a bowl of ramen and I felt full). The only negative point I could think of would be the very strange choice of only proposing the tan tan ramen with lamb and not leaving the choice of meat to the customer.

Despite the harsh economic climate in the UK for restaurant operators, it's great that Nottingham has the fortune to host some of the best eateries. Everyday people is bang on with its clean cut image, showcasing the skilled, friendly and energetic kitchen staff, on full view of the diners. This is certainly not a cheap meal, but for what they deliver, the value is quite exceptional. I'm no gastronomic expert, but this is a great way to experience what Raman is all about. My ignorance was kindly and expertly accommodated by the cheerful waiting staff and that really added to the experience this week. Not going to go into all the dishes, but everything my partner and I ordered was made to the highest standard and we're all memorable. I could mention those eggs... Friendly staff, it gets busy and quite loud (we were there on a saturday night) but all the same a fun atmosphere. Vegan Dan dan noodles are really good. My only criticism are the toilets. As a non binary trans person I'm always dismayed when toilets are gendered, it feels unnecessary and alienating. As far as I can tell both toilets are the same, although you can indicate a difference by writing 'urinal' or 'stall' on the door if needed. Please can you consider changing the signs on the doors to be more inclusive? I would love to recommend this place to queers I know, but this stops me from doing so.

Been there on Friday evening, so I guess wait times are always longer, but we waited very long for a bowl of ramen. The place is by no means quiet or cosy, it was impossible to talk to a person across the table without raising your voice, but that's just how the place is designed with large open space I suppose. Was excited to try this place after seeing the great reviews but unfortunately was not to be. I arrived around 4pm yesterday (Sunday) and was told there was a further 40 minute wait time for food only after I had already been seated, ordered, finished my shrimp crackers and half my drink. A friend suggested this place as he had seen a good review somewhere. The service and the food were excellent. The food is very much Japanese style, the menu catering for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Everything was exquisitely cooked and flavoured. My only two small criticisms are that is it quite noisy, the minimalist style interior of hard surfaces reflecting the sounds, and secondly it could have been a degree or two warmer. At £16 for lunch it is very good value for money. Definitely on my go to again list.

Read the Jay Raynor review so had to see what the fuss was about and we are glad we did. It's a small place with great buzz as pretty much every table is a chef's table. Young lad served us and he was so enthusiastic which was fantastic to see. Ramen had a very very flavoursome broth and perfect noodles. Wine list quite small and they have very interesting choice and we were more than happy with our selection. We didn't hold back and spent over £100 for two but I am sure you could get in and out of there for half the price. We are back in a couple of weeks for a family lunch.

Great place to go and eat with family. I had the pork belly bao which was really tasty and the duck shoyu which was a great choice. Excellent service from all the staff and I look forward to coming again soon.

Fantastic! We visited on Saturday lunch time as we booked a table. It was busy, so really glad we did. Quick, efficient and friendly service. An excellent choice of drinks. We opted for a bottle of the house orange, natural wine and each a portion of the Tan Tan ramen. Wine was different but delicious. The ramen was incredible. Beautiful broth, plenty of ramen and tender lamb. Very generous portions. So much flavour. Highly recommended.

This was my 3rd visit to Everyday People and as always you delivered fantastic food, drink and service! This was the busiest I'd seen the restaurant, but that did not impact the experience at all. Kudos to your serving staff and chefs. This time I had the seasonal miso with a cherry house sake... delicious!

Sausage and cheese ramen. Thai tea creme brulee. Words cannot describe how perfect both these dishes were. You cannot only visit this place once.

Food is nice but sadly slightly pricey. I shall visit again and depending if the food quality is constant I might increase it to 5 stars. The staff are polite and attentive. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. A more unique selection of non-alcoholic beverages would be deeply welcomed too.

Big fan of ramen, often having it in london restaurants. This place surprised me so much with absolutely novel to my taste buds lamb ramen and home made sake. Both are must to try!

Delicious food and a really cool space! Our waiter Harry was super friendly and responsive. We felt very welcome with our baby as well. Would definitely recommend! Get the corn dogs!

The setting is nicely informal and the food and service were great! We both ordered different dishes and everything was so nice. The waiting time was barely noticeable and the staff were very friendly. It was a fantastic spot to grab some lunch while in town. I knocked a star off because the music was so loud we struggled to have a conversation. Which was a shame.

Most of the pig's trotter rice is very lean meat, and there is another 20% tax + 1% tip.

Came here for my partners birthday in December, was a little slow on service but despite that it was more than enough. Very welcoming.

Not as good as usual. No salad for the hot meat and both dishes were very oily and dishes arrived like they had been thrown around, all leaked out in the bag. I’m saddened our much awaited meal was delivered like this.
