one of the worst experience I've ever had. The bald head guy is just a typical rip off and charges customers as he likes and not by the price tag and are charging £1 per person to sit on a table to eat. Worst food and sweets ever. The barfi we have brought was certainly 2 weeks old. certainly not recommending this to any food eater

Quitamos algunos curry de aquí, estaban bien hechos pero necesitaban mucho más condimento y calor (chiles). Eran bastante sosos en la paleta y fueron decepcionantes en general.

Personal cooperativo, sabrosa comida casera.

This is a unpretentious restaurant that serves simple food which hit the spot ala a Dhaba in India/Pakistan. I loved the food here during my short stay in Nottingham and would definitely come here again. If you are in the area and would like to try a place that serves authentic food, give it a try. I guarantee it will not disappoint. They also serve Halwa Puri on Sundays and have condiments/bakery items for sale in case you want to take a taste of home with you.

I live 20 miles north but when I'm in Nottingham I always call in here for starters, curries and burfi to take home. I cook Indian food at home but can never get it as good as this, Tasty, spicy - just delicious. I love the lamb on the bone and the range of vegetarian dishes. Meat samosas are fantastic. There are a couple of tables that you can eat at but it's not really a restaurant - more a shopd doing great curries and sweets.

This place is fantastic. It's brilliant if you like Pakistani home cooked curries. The meat curry and Chicken biryani is fantastic. Aloo tikki starts are the best in Nottingham by many a miles. The boss is a great help when it comes to helping you chose your food.. 5***

In the 1950's and 60's when Indians and Pakistanis moved to Britain to the major city's some odd business people amongst them opened the restaurants that reminded people of the food 'back home' making food with the correct traditional methods and spices. Over the years the trend of the new and modern ethnic restaurants lost some of their culture in the dedication to the creation of their food and moved to fusion or typical eat outs with burgers and chips etc... However in every major city there will be the type of eatery that still has the traditional and authentic flavors from India, Pakistan etc... Madni Sweets is the hidden gem in Hyson Green, in an area that hosts the world's largest moving fair (Goose Fair), and is a road known as International Road full of businesses from around the world and on a tram line is Madni Sweets that creates the true authentic Indian/Pakistani tastes. The menu is traditional, the service is fantastic and the food is just a true reflection of Pakistan/India. A great location, great food and fantastic service this restaurant should not be ignored. Very popular amongst the locals and the regular visitors. If you truly want to taste the food that people eat in India, Kashmir and Pakistan then visit Madni Sweets, you will not be disappointed.

NO VENGAN AQUÍ! !! Horrible servicio mezclado con personal mezquino y grosero. tan decepcionado

My daughter visited Royal Sweet Centre for there desi breakfast, she purchased a £8.00 channa deal. It included 1x Channa, 1x Halwa and 4 puri. The portions size were diabolical, this once easily fed 2 people now it won't feed 1. The ghee/oil in the halwa is ridiculous. My daughter hadn't purchased this before so was unaware of portion size. We've had this as a family many a times and it's usually a much larger portion. Day light robbery, to say they are Muslims they should be ashamed ripping off the ummah. Pic 1: left is Royals portion and Right is their competitors. Competitors portion of channa cost £2.00 and whole meal deal for £6.50! Pic 2: The amount of ghee/oil in the halwa is disgusting, totally un-edible!!!

Had a mixed grill that was really nice and value for money. Would recommend the lamb chops.

Minor food poisoning right after having their steamboat buffet. The fish fillets are at its worst quality as it seems like being left in the fridge for ‘years’ and the meat slices are so smelly. The hygiene of the shop is not doing well and the ventilation is bad as well. Think twice before harming your body!
