Ordered a lamb tikka curry after enquiring if it had yogurt in it, and was given a lamb jalfrezi. on delivering the food, boss was extremely rude and and said i ordered a lamb jalfrezi. when 11 people on the table heard me change the order after realising the tikka curry didnt have yougurt. Then ordered a rubicon mango and he laughed saying iv found it too hot 👀 the drink never turned up so had to again ask a differnt waiter. then asked for the bill and was over charged by £25. prior to paying another waiter dismissed the claim by indictating they had been running the business for 25 years while the boss was recalculating the real bill. was then refunded. but owner has no people skills and lamb it stale and very tough. no recommended 🥴

Absolutely loved this meal. Can't believe it's taken me so long to get there. Definitely some of the best Thai I've had in Brighton. Great flavours and generous portions. Lovely staff and ambience. Menu changes regularly but our sea bass and pork belly dishes were superb. Highly recommend

This place is so good I can almost just vote 5 stars for all and be done with it. Seriously good! I've been using them for about 8 years since they were in the old building at the top of the hill. Had multiple birthdays here, multiple takeaways (I mean a lot). I have never had one issue at all. Every time I go back I'm blown away how good the food is, I'm almost like "do I remember it being THIS good?". Not oily, not heavy, perfect flavour, great choice, one of the only restaurants that actually make the Tikka masala properly madras hot (unlike others that think you can't take it and don't even make it that hot). Staff are like friends you've always known, service is fast. Atmosphere in the new place is to a really high standard. I could be here all day. Eat here with confidence, you will NOT be disappointed. Oh and did I mention the prices are very reasonable too. 5 stars all day long! Thanks guys!!

The special fried rice here is exceptional - definitely one of the best I've tried and the main reason I'd return. The portions are generous across all dishes, which adds great value. The prawn tempura, while decent, wasn't the crispy style I prefer, and the seasoning could have been better. The salt and pepper chicken was average - nothing special but not bad either. Would recommend for the fried rice alone, which is worth the visit. I'll definitely order from them again, though I'll probably stick to their rice dishes.

Spent just under 30 pounds on a food place I use to love, this order was terrible and inedible, food was cold considering i live 8 minutes away aswell its a complete joke and definitely should not be this cold. (onion&mushroom bajjis, half tandoori chicken, naan, rice all cold. the lamb tikka was the worst I've ever had! Chips was like they was still frozen! The only thing a little warm was the chicken tikka massala. And to top it off it was the first time my partner trying his first Indian which was embarrassing safe to say he won't have one ever again. This place use to be great now it's disgusting

Not great. This place gets the highest review score in Wantage, so we gave it a whirl on a Saturday night. There was one other table of 4 in an otherwise empty restaurant. Despite this, no staff approached us for 20 minutes and we had to ask if we could place our orders in the end. The food arrived half an hour later. I had King Prawn Biryani, the other half a Sag Aloo. Both were cold. Mine had lots of rice, a small bowl of biryani, 3 or 4 king prawns but MOUNTAINS of peas - not an ingredient I've even noticed in 35 years of eating the dish. Both dishes were cold, but at least the other half's tasted of Sag Aloo - mine was more like gravy than biryani. The chapatis were very thick, floury and salty and as such, inedible. We were given no opportunity to comment on the food and indeed had to approach the kitchen area to pay, such was the absence of any service. Easily the worst Indian meal I've ever had, with the worst service too.
