Really enjoyed our lovely family meal. Great food and service was great too- very friendly. Overall good value for money and happy atmosphere

The food here has always been lovely but it's been a good 9 months since I've came and wow. Unbelievably good food, great portion sizes. Honestly the best Thai around - if you're considering it then get yourself there! The waitress who sat us down was so lovely and helped my mam choose a dish suited to her as it was her first Thai. All three waitresses checked on us throughout the night and were all lovely. Honestly couldn't have been better service - 5 of us went and all 5 absolutely loved the food

My best guess is that the Thai chef has been replaced by ready meals from wholesale. Over priced rubbish with a passing resemblance to Thai food.

Food was delicious and cheap as we done the Thai time deal. Very spicy starters and the Thai curry was one of the nicest I’ve ever eaten and I’ve been to that part of the world. Yes the main meal took time to arrive but what do you expect when you are getting something freshly cooked rather than a microwave meal like at most other places? Great staff, the young lady who was serving us was brilliant and we had a peanut allergy to deal with, she went above and beyond to reassure us about the items on the menu. The lady on duty as bar/restaurant manager for the evening was very attentive and ensured her staff were constantly asking if we needed more drinks etc. Great all round and would 100% visit again!

Terrible, terrible service, we had to seek a staff member out to ask for our order to be taken, then ask how long the mains would be, then again we had ask for our desserts, this was the theme throughout the night. You get to the point where you have waited that long, staff have not been attentive and it spoils your night, it is a very small restaurant! The annoying thing was after being left, having to seek out a staff member to take our order the service didn't improve. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones that had an issue with the service.

My family and I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Copperstone. We started with the spring rolls and salt and pepper chicken, both of which were incredibly tasty and set a positive tone for the meal. Opting for the three-course meal deal at £20 each, we found the value exceptional. For our mains, I chose the "Jungle," a spicy dish bursting with flavor, despite its heat. My wife had the Thai curry, which she declared one of the best she has ever tasted. Our son, who prefers milder flavors, thoroughly enjoyed his Parmo. We concluded our meal with a simple yet delicious dessert. Overall, the meal was one of the best we've had, with authentic flavours that truly represent Thai cuisine. The staff were lovely, and the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Copperstone to anyone seeking high-quality Thai cuisine.

We popped in a 4pm 17.05.24 just on the off chance we could get a table. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly and helpful. Due to the time of day we got seated straight away. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and worth every penny. While we were eating more customers arrived and also more staff so if you plan on going in after 5pm I recommend you book a table. The restaurant itself is decorated really well and is extremely clean, in some areas you can actually see the kitchen. We totally recommend Copperstone and we will definitely be back. One thing I don't understand is we were charge £20 per head (due to it being Teesside restaurant week) Yet their Thia Time menu which has exactly what we ordered is usually £18.50 and more!? So avoid restaurant week. Thank you to all concerned we still had a great meal.

Beef basil was beautiful and the noodles where perfect and the salt and pepper chips were something else :)

Really busy which is is understandable but food did take a while to come , when it came it was hot which is good . However the flavours really lacked usually something as basic as prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce is fine right - the sweet chilli sauce you can tell was cheap and had a chemical taste , the prawn crackers felt stale and had no real flavour . The red Thai curry tasted very watered down - I have had a lot of Thai food and the thing I enjoy the most is the powerful punchy lemongrass flavours - there was none . The chicken was sparse and the curry was mainly just thing liquid . We ordered the drunken noodles - I enjoy spicy food but this was painful to eat ! The level of spice overpowered any flavour and was painful to eat - we hardly could touch it . The amount of chillis put in there meant that this dish was in edible . Very disappointed- my go to cuisine is usually Thai and this food was a disappointment- will not be returning again . The prices are not worth the quality of the food

Started of with duck raps with hoisin sauce and veg spring rolls amazing then Thai red curry with coconut rice the misses a chicken dish which was also amazing as we tried each uthers dishes defo be going back as the staff are friendly and helpful with telling you about the dishes you must try this little gem

I loved this restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was excellent. I have travelled in Thailand many times so was ready to be critical but the food was excellent. I will certainly be returning. I have been to this restaurant many times and still maintain the service and food is excellent. Well worth a visit

On google looks like a great menu, when you get there it’s like being in the ghetto and was honestly scared to leave my car. The service wasn’t great and all waiters weren’t attentive and didn’t have a clue when asked about dishes. Finally the food for the starters was badly deep fried from frozen and the mains were even worse. Soggy and very liquidy and the meat within the dish was also poor quality. All round one of the worst meals I’ve had out and will not be going back!

To be honest can't fault the Copperstone staff are really friendly .The service was class.The food is to die . Can't recommend this place enough ,we go there often now and always recommend ro friends and family .

Nice little Thai restaurant. I went for my birthday. The food was lush. Felt a bit rushed but nonetheless tasty hot food. Quite pricey though for what you get.

Awsome food but terrible absolutely terrible customer service very polite when taking your order then everything goes south from there more takeaway going out the door than food to tables walked out after waiting more than a hour for our starters had to go to the bar to ask for drinks not impressed at all 🤬

Ate here during restaurant week so it was understandably busy. However walked in the door and it must have been 5 minutes before any staff member noticed we were standing there. Then forgot to bring over our salt and pepper chips and my dessert. So room for improvement service-wise but the food tasted fantastic especially at 3 courses for £20.

Disappointing Again! Came with a group of friends, some of whom were hard of hearing and so we requested a table in a quiet area when we booked, and our table was given to another group who hadn't booked. We booked the table for 6 pm and it is now 8.06 pm and still no sign of our main courses. When the main courses arrived (8.10 pm) they were very tasty

Food was really good and service was second to none. Needed few upgrades to toilets but they were on with doing that. Service 2nd to none but food 2nd to Zen (Durham).

Got let down by another local restaurant on the day of my friends Hen meal. Called Copperstone to get a table very last minute for 4 of us. I explained it was a very small informal hen and they told us it was not a problem. From the minute we arrived Joe made us feel relaxed and happy and they could not be more accommodating. We ordered from the Thai time menu and the food and price were exceptional. My favourite were the spring rolls and chicken penang which were tasty and authentic although everything we ordered was great. Joe was amazing and even rose to the challenge of creating us our own cocktail which was pink and sparkly, we had such fun guessing the ingredients. Joe made us feel special and important which is just what we needed after being let down at such short notice. I am so glad we ended up at the Copperstone; great food and great atmosphere and of course will be back again for 5*food and service. Thank you :)

Iv been in the restaurant and ordered a lot of takeaways. The food is amazing both in and out of this place. Being vegan it's hard to find a nice restaurant which can make vegan food. Always amazing. It's the only place we order takeaways and go out for meals.

Good place to taste Thai food. The waiters are Brits but the kitchen staff is Thai top to bottom so the food is authentic.

Went for my 40th birthday with 31 family members, food was amazing. Cocktails are great. Been coming since it opened and ill continue. Always a warm welcome and gorgeous atmosphere. Thank you Joe for all your hard work too.

We booked a table but had to for 10 minutes as the table wasn't ready. The starters were nice, but then we waited nearly an hour for our main. I thought i'd order 1 beer to keep me going, and they forgot about it after i'd gone up to ask where the food was, but could I have just 1 beer. Overall, food was nice, but the service and food timings were poor which let it down. Would I go again? No. Blackwell Ox for me.

Food was great but staff weren't very good. Person taking the drink order kept having to back to ask questions as she didn't know what drinks they had, only took one drink order and didn't ask if we wanted another until after we had finished our food. Asked if we wanted all the food together but we asked for starters and mains separate, all the food came at once.

Called in for lunch - couldn't fault anything - food was delicious - service very good - will return very soon - parking a bit awkward but free car park 2mins away - had salt and pepper potatoes for starter and Singapore noodles for main - for £9.99 you cant go wrong - this was on the lunch menu - give it a go👍👍👍

Service was very slow, Thai fish cakes were awful, the batter on the tempura prawns was so thick and soggy. Mains were ok but nothing to write home about. Must have been asked if we wanted another drink 5 times in the space of 15mins from our actual drinks arriving. Felt very rushed to leave as we where randomly brought our bill before we had even finished our drinks. I said we arnt ready to pay yet and then 2 mins after another server turns up at the table with the card machine Overall wouldn't recommend had better frozen from Iceland’s

Arrived at 8pm was told to order quite before the kitchen closed Which was understandable. As soon as we were seated waitress was cleaning table next to us dropped a plate full of food on the floor picked the plate up and left food and cutlery on the floor and never came back to finish clearing the table, ordered drinks just tasted old and flat. Ordered handful of starter each arrived at reasonable timing and I would just like to add I’m not normally one to complain but food was diabolical just re cooked tasteless deep fried slop would not recommend me and partner both feel unwell just from trying the food what was served to us

Decent food and a nice atmosphere. Food is Thai/Chinese cross over. Service from this young team is abysmal though so expect to be waiting a while, even when it's quiet.

Went here on Friday just gone. Was really good food, reasonable prices, only thing we ordered way too much food! Lol. Have my first ever espresso martini, was yummy. The staff, Joe,Andy,Gracie and Eve were all lovely, and was a really great service. Definitely will be going again, thanks guys

Best starters I've had in a long time, great staff with well priced menu

I spend £55 on several different dishes, and all were average. Children’s options were all fried, Thai food was average, and when ordered two cocktails for £10 you’d think they’d bring one out and the other later if necessary, no, our waitress didn’t want that together or nothing. Som tam soup no flavour no coconut no colour looked like dish water, fish cakes where more like small onion bhaji’s, and the pad krao prao had some flavour but at £14 was a ripoff. We rarely get out, and this was a first to try eat out for an early dinner in months due to our son. Waitress with duck lips was so unpleasant, she should seriously consider her life options if she feels this badly. The beer was good!

First time I had been to Copperstone's I am not a fan of spicy food so a little apprehensive. It had been recommended by family members and it didn't disappoint. Good portions and plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Open cooking area was spotlessly clean and a good range of drinks from the bar. Give it a go sometime you won't regret it.

First visit today, beautiful place, great welcoming friendly staff, excellant, tasty food, we had the lunchtime special, very good value for money, will definatly go back.

We had the lunchtime menu which was excellent value for money. The flavour of green Thai curry was lovely - although it was more of a soup consistency. Salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips were very nice too. The red Thai curry i thought was very salty but my husband liked it. One of our party had the pad Thai noodles and didn't like them at all as they had a sweetness to them. Parking was a bit of an issue but overall we enjoyed our visit.

First impressions were pleasant as you come through the door you are greeted with a very cosy atmosphere, the decor is japan themed with a sakura like tree at the end of the restaurant, food was outstanding. Music choice was very nostalgic and pleasing, will definitely come again

I don’t like to leave negative reviews because, people are quick to judge.However this has to be one of the worst places we’ve been to. Apart from one staff member the place had really poor service, a few staff members were rude. I suggest that you put some proper training into your staff! Because, if you want to keep open and have returning customers, you best make sure that staff know how to take orders properly and listen to your customers and when you’re taking payments, to not have a face on and make them feel uncomfortable. The food wasn’t great and cocktails were full of syrup and ice. Unless things improve I wouldn’t recommend to visits service for me is the most important thing in hospitality especially when you’ve worked in it yourself.
