Another stunning curry 🍛 from Kashmir in Cheltenham. Garlic Chilli 🌶 Chicken, Chicken Rezala, Pillau &nan...all totaly delicious. Highly recommended.

Food was ok. Some plates were flavourful, however own plate was described as medium hot (Kashmir special) but lacked any spice and was rather bland. Service wasn't great. Sadly there was a large party downstairs, which led to our meal taking over an hour to arrive at the table, and staff weren't particularly apologetic to it. Appreciate when it's busy can be slow, but staff didn't really care. That said when they did serve tables they were friendly enough.

Group of 7 of us on a stag do. We had a fantastic evening. Food was to be honest the best I've had. Full of flavour and served hot to the table. Service was excellent and treated us extremely well. Great atmosphere. Nice restaurant behind boots a full recommended place to go.

Have had several nice takeaways in the past from here but will avoid ever visiting the restaurant after this visit - the focus is on the takeaway side and not sit in. There was no atmosphere, tables near the front are listening to constant calls with takeaway orders coming in and tables at the back are cold and you gave the constant foot traffic from kitchen to front with takeaway bags. Not to mention our food: dry bhaji, stale poppadoms and bizarrely sweet curry (we did not order coconut based curries) - not a pleasant evening and extremely overpriced. Wish now that I had sent the food back (didn’t finish it) or complained at the time!

Worst chicken karahi ever. They have changed the definition of chicken karahi. I think for them chicken karahi is what they serve in karahi( a pot) but whatever is inside doesn’t matter.

I first used this restaurant over 10 years ago and again a few weeks ago it was great then the best king prawn vindaloo I’ve ever eaten and it hasn’t changed a bit still old school wonderful

I have to say as an Indian curry house, this absolutely tops it will. It comes to a well balanced and well cooked curry. That’s not overwhelming but completely and well fully spiced. The service is excellent and friendly and it’s a must

My husband and myself came to the Kashmir for our wedding anniversary meal. The staff were amazing. The food was delicious. Service was impeccable. All in all a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend.

This is the worst curry I’ve had in Cheltenham and to be honest they’re all pretty bad at the moment. Tasted of absolutely nothing. Was cold and the lamb was chewy and tough. It was also very expensive. I had to put so much salt in to mine and even then it was bland. We ordered two different curries that were identical. Either the good reviews on here are fake, or they only have one chef who isn’t always in. Appalling.

Just awful! Chicken madras, dry chicken and sauce was like tin of chopped tomatoes with a hint of coriander! Lamb bhuna, lamb tuff as old boots and onion raw! Poppadoms tasted fishy! Egg fried rice was boiled rice with scrambled egg! £40 DOWN THE DRAIN!

First class food!! Plenty of choice on the menu - and reasonably priced. I can recommend the Shahi Cocktail as it has plenty of flavour and is not spicy-hot. Very easy and convenient parking in the North Place car park.

Good ambience, polite staff, good table service. Overall experience was fine. Good veg and non veg dishes on the menu. The roti was all maida flour, very chewy.👎 The sabzis were okay, not spicy. Overall, no value for money.

Absolutely perfect . Such generous portions too ! The vegetable byriani is really excellent. The Bombay Aloo also very good - the potatoes are always slow cooked, full of flavour and never hard like I have had elsewhere .

Got completely ripped off in this place £150 for 4 currys and a couple of beers should have known it was bad as we were the only people in their also as we were the only ones in there spending morey they started hoovering around us and told us leave as they were standing at the door we hadn't even finished our drinks

Missing items from the order always taint a meal, and although the restaurant sent the items as early as they could we had still pretty much finish the meal when they arrived. Unable to give a refund on the items, has to come though just eat. Food was ok but now wow level. One of the speciality dished was supposed to be mango infused blah blah but was just a Korma

Ordered as a takeaway and we were so impressed! Great tasting vegan options that were clearly labelled, something that is missing from other Indian restaurants in Cheltenham so I will definitely be ordering from here again or going into the restaurant!

Tasted of absolutely nothing! No veg or seasoning in the curries and sludge like texture. Ordered a chicken biryani and was given a lamb biryani, we don't eat lamb so had to pick it out of the rice. The chicken masala sauce was a very very bright red colour and had no taste to it at all, was just a sludge like sauace with a bit of chicken - no seasoning nothing! Clearly food dye was also used (and too much of it!). Rice dry and overcooked. The whole meal tasted so bland. I can't believe that the restaurant served this food. I'm almost insulted by the cook as he clearly had no care in cooking the correct food. Very poor i would avoid.

While we were in Cheltenham we fancied a curry night, we chose the Kashmir India Restaurant on Albion Street and enjoyed the meals we had and even went back a second time during our short stay in Cheltenham the staff were polite and friendly

Great curry ... portions good size, even rice. the dish i had was YUMMO. Four stars, but being picky because we had to wait a little bit. Also no gulumjamin, but again the guy who served us did explain why they dont have on menu. Would i go back... YES, see you soon!

Really tasty! I always order a chicken tikka masala and our regular curry house has been a bit rubbish recently so thought we’d try here and it was lush! Thick, tasty sauce with loads of chicken. Big portions too. One rice is enough for two people. Will order again. The chutneys with the poppadoms are great too!

Unfortunately I can’t give a zero score so have had to give 1. I Spent 90 mins waiting for food despite only one other table in the restaurant occupied. When we first complained about the delay were told that they were waiting for naan bread, when we asked for the meal without naan we were ignored for another 10 mins only to be told “to be honest “ the meal wasn’t waiting for naans and would be with us in 10 mins. 10 mins later were told that they couldn’t provide one of our choices so if we could change our choice they could have food to us in 5 mins, not believing this we decided to cancel our meal and generously offered to pay for our drinks. We were not allowed to leave without paying for our drinks plus £12 for 5 popadums. The priority seems to be take away customers, sit down customers were treated as an inconvenience. I have regularly visited the Kashmir after race meetings at Cheltenham but will never do so again.

The food was good, especially the saag paneer and the tandoori naan. The restaurant was well decorated and clean. However, in terms of service, it was missing the human touch... "Can I get you anything else?" "everything ok?" would have meant a lot and meant 5 stars instead of 4

Haven't been here for many years and it was great to see the same guys producing the same high quality food. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and very good value.

Very nice quality curry house, food was heated at the table to make sure it was hot and we all agreed that it was nicely flavoured without the oil that you often get in poorer quality restaurants.

Great place to eat. Lovely service. Good menu. Can recommend the Afghan Lamb which had chick pea base for the sauce. On edge of shopping district so lots close by. Didn't have to book and was relatively quiet, so think somewhat overlooked.

This is our fourth time ordering. Every order has been first class! Delivery time has been spot-on! We’ve yet to find better food from an Indian restaurant, they have been by far the best, tastiest food we’ve ever had. If you don’t believe us, try ordering and you will see fir yourself. We give this restaurant a 10 out of 10 rating in all areas. Whenever we look on JustEat for an Indian takeaway, we don’t look any further than this restaurant! If you don’t believe us, please give them a try to prove us wrong!

As a group of 6, we aim for a curry night per month. We have been twice this year and the Kashmir has risen to the top end of our favourite venues. It is not a big place so ensure you book ahead for groups greater than 4.

I phoned the restaurant direct to place our family order. I don't use deliveroo or just eat as you never know what or when you're going to get your order. We ordered chicken korma, chicken tikka pathia and a chick madras with peshwari naan and...

The Kashmir does curries old school style. Thick rich sauce, lots of flavour, ghee is present and adding to the flavour explosions. I wish I'd found this place sooner.
