I'm More Addicted To It Than A 5 Year Old To A iPad. I Loveee The King Prawn Puri! It's Filled To The Brim With Rich, Pure Flavour! You Can Tell That The Ingredients Are High Quality From The Get Go! The Naan Breads Are Brilliant! Personally The Pishwari Is My Favourite One And It's Flavour Is Gorgeous And On Point! The Staff Are Welcoming, Polite And All Round Amazing! You Can Get Either Takeaway Or You Can Dine In (you can most likely get delivery I've just never checked)

Been coming to this restaurant for years.it never fails to provide top quality food and served up by lovely professional staff.

To be honest there’s much better in the area (shabazz/Chennai). Tikka masala was very salty & so was the staff curry. Your average curry house.

Shocking!! Got home and there was no chutney tray with poppadoms, when I rang up to explain they simply said “oh well, mistakes happen”. Poor!

Food mediocre at best. Starters were lovely. Staff lamb curry way too salty. The quality of the king prawns tastes quite poor and mushy. Rice tastes rubbery and reheated. Jalfrazi tasted okay but again a bit salty. Diapiza was the better tasting of the 3 curries we ordered but let down by the poor quality if king prawns. Would we go back, probably give it a miss and try another place furthrt up the east lancs

Poor quality food, expensive for what you get, chicken pakora battered in fish batter and curries tasted the same.

Fantastic food and service, we really enjoyed our meal in Zest. We ordered loads of different starters and for the main we had king prawn curry and special mix thawa. It was absolutely delicious, so much flavour and taste. The service was on point and the overall experience was 10/10. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

We gave this restaurant another try after a rather poor meal and seeing people full of work gear seating on seats on our last visit ,just a general observation, anyway this visit was more appealing the place looked tidy and much better presented and the food was good

I love Indian food and I usually cook Indian curries. We were running late from gymnastic so I thought let’s get some curry for us. Kids went for chicken bhuna I went for Bombay aloo. When we reached home the kids refused to eat. Both curry had the same base, same taste just one with potato and the other with chicken. In the pic I have provided you can see the two curry exactly the same ( top supposed to be Bombay aloo and the bottom is the chicken bhuna ) Staff were nice while we waited however we won’t be returning.

Great food and service as always

ordered over the phone, it was ready when we arrived. Food was lovely, service was good. On another occasion visited the restaurant with my sister on route to see our father. Phone call to say we were needed straight away. Zest staff packaged our meal to get us on our way. The next time we visited which was about 2 wks later , one lovely guy remembered us and asked after our dad. 🥲 Ended up having a lovely conversation with him over elderly relatives.

Had a family meal kn Saturday night for 20 people staff were well organised and unfazed by large table we ordered meals and drinks in family names and paid on separate bills no problem for staff team food came quickly , generous pickle trays with poppadoms . Starters were all good portions and very tasty, we tried pakoras, puri and samosas. Main courses we chose were lamb karahi, prawn masalla,chicken tikka,fish curry. Pilau rice and garlic bread .all delicious

Thank you to all the Management and staff. Five of us had our Christmas Day lunch at Zest today and it was fabulous. Food and service was first class and considering how busy they was we had an amazing meal. We will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Average food for what I consider quite an expensive price. As a family we eat a lot of Indian meals out as we and the kids love curry, and on this occasion they even shared a Korma and rice (which by the way was so sweet it was unbearable). My lamb Karahi didn’t taste great either, and also had far too many big pieces of onion that was taken in my opinion from the outer section of the onion, the grainy green hard part, this made for a curry I had to pick through and couldn’t eat properly. We also got charged quite a lot for the chutney tray and popadoms, which Seems to be customary now in the north west, they used to be free at many places, that was considered a perk and welcomed freebee going out for an Indian meal!??they then had to cheek to try and charge us extra for a refill on the lime pickle when there was barely a tea spoon full in the first pot. Call me harsh, call me fussy, but I feel massively underwhelmed by a lot of places these days and this was no different, zest lacks value for money, good service, and atmosphere, the staff barely speak to you.

I have only visited this restaurant 3 times,but have to say I've enjoyed the meal very much. The service is very good and the restaurant is well set out; tables are not too close together as can be the case in some restaurant's. Plenty of free parking. The only negative, the measures of wine were very small!! If you ask for a small wine, not only is it a small.glass,but your glass is only half full, barely two mouthfuls! Never seen such a small measure. The large glass of wine wasn't much better!!! Otherwise,a good place for a decent selection of curry at a reasonable price.

Lovely food friendly staff worth a trip

Had veg samosas for starters,they were really nice. Had the chicken tikka korma for mains which was disappointing really. It was quite bland and devoid of any type of curry flavour whatsoever and it's appearance resembled that of semolina. I always have a mild curry whenever going for an Indian, I'm afraid this one fell short of the mark. Also the very uniform sized pieces of chicken were quite tastless. The mango on the chutney tray was very thin and watered down beyond belief, it was tasteless. The staff were very polite, but could have done with a little more presence when taking orders. Very softly spoken to the point that you might not have been aware of their presence, but very polite. It was an average experience for me on this visit I'm afraid. Not sure if I would make any repeat visits though.

We came in tonight for a birthday meal as we religiously do in our family. However, we had a problem with some food, which we brought up with a member of staff that was incredibly hostile and rude. We did not intend for any money off or a replacement of any kind just to simply make the restaurant aware. However, the respond we got was incredibly hostile and ruined our birthday celebrations. We will not be attending this restaurant again. I would recommend to the management that, they have word with their staff to stop speaking to cusotmer with disrespect, and to take complaints on board and deal with them in the higher standards that all good restaurants do. For years the service has been great, but tonight you really let yourselves down and lost a longtime customer.

Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere

I was disappointed with my visit. Staff stand around chatting or doing nothing. They do not offer you drinks unless you keep trying to get their attention. The curry had way more big chunks of pepper & onion than meat and the rice tasted like Batchelors savoury packet rice!

So you are travelling down the East Lancs road and you see the Indian restaurant Zest. Turn in, park up and enjoy one of the best curries around. This place is awesome. Food is amazing. Portion sizes are fabulous. Presentation, taste and service are superb. On the bone, off the bone, popular curries and new curries all to try. I personally recommend the Lamb staff curry. You wont regret this golden nugget. Definitely our go to curry place from now on. Enjoy!!!!

We absolutely love Zest and this is our go to place for a curry. Even if we haven’t booked, they always try their best to accommodate us, the staff are very attentive and the food is delicious. I’d highly recommend the Tadka Dhal and the tandoori lamb chops!

Not as good as it used to be. The service seems very rushed as it's busy and didn't bring all items to our table. Mild dishes are very spicy here so be careful if you don't like em hot. Not a place to have a quiet meal as it gets so loud.

Had heard nothing but great things about this place, so thought I'd give it a go, the food was quite bland and the whole experience pretty average in all honesty...

Not sure what the hype is we ordered the mixed grill and it was cremated literally black. Dry meat. Cheap horrible chips you get from the local takeaway.

We go here often and have been impressed with the food . Little things like the poppadoms are served hot .Food here has been consistently good I recommend this place

Tandoori chicken, I have eaten this dish in restaurants the length and breadth of the UK, and this is best I have tasted by a country mile. Not dyed bright Red,just cooked and presented perfectly. Thanks.

Party of 16. A well staffed restaurant and an excellent variety of food, all which was reasonably priced. The food was really nice and the staff were polite. The waiters kept individual tabs for every couple for each course and drinks, which was great at the end of the meal. The only criticism would be that the restaurant was a little on the cool side. We will definitely return.

I've been going for years ive had sit in meals and takeaway meals absolutely spot on every time. I had my 50th birthday here too everyone who was there 35 ppl was eating at the same time not all different times like uou get at other places. Everyone said it was so good aswell. My son and myself are there on Christmas day.

Staff are great, first time visit. I just thought it was getting a little dated. Food was ok, just didn't really do it for me though. Reasonably priced. Worth a visit .

Not a very warm & welcoming restaurant, although there were a couple of staff who seemed friendly and polite. I enjoyed the mixed starter, but my main meal was awful. I had Exquisite Karahi which is Chicken tikka, but it didnt look or taste like tikka and the Karahi sauce was absolutely awful. It actually tasted like perfume !! My husband had the Chicken Shaslick with Masala sauce which was ok, but still had a perfume taste to the sauce. I actually left all mine and will never go back again.

Visited zest on a few occasions, and going again tonight. Never had any issues what so ever. Food was excellent along with the service. Arrived slightly early which worked out a treat as before a certain time the discount applied.

In my opinion, the place isnt what it use to be. Not been in 3 years and couldnt wait to retry the food. Sadly was disappointed, the food itself was lacking taste and freshness. I also pre applied for the 20% discount card, once in March and never got the card and once in July and still not had the card, even though the e-mail confirmation said that i could collect this at the restaurant after 48 hours, when i mentioned this, the staff member told me that i couldnt get the discount as i need to provide a physical card that would be coming in the post ( March onwards and still no card ). Wont be going again in a hurry. Staff was pleasant enought on a positive note and the venue is still nice.

Nice restaurant with all kind of Indain and pakistani food not all things are Halal you can ask member of staff for halal dishes. Good food nd good staff defoo go again. There is bar aswell nd parking area

Every time I come to England this is my curry restaurant of choice....the chicken gorkhali is spectacular. Owner/Chef even gave me the recipe to take back to Australia but I lost it. Coming back around Christmas time..... can't wait for some of their delicious fodder.

Really nice to go to an Indian restaurant and every dish as its own taste, let all be honest, when we have an curry in most restaurants different dishes all taste the same. Very refreshing to come to Zest and experience flavours.

Uneducated staff and dont know how to behave with customer, talking very rudely, staff made mistake in taking order and served which we didn't order and include its price in bill, As indian customer dont order Paneer sabji. Very Disappointed
