Great food, amazing service, so fresh and accommodating! James our waiter was fabulous and I’d come to this Wagas again just to be served by him !! Rest of the staff gorgeous too, even chefs have a laugh. Deliciouso

Been going here on and off for years, staff always really good but last couple of visits have noticed portions are much smaller, loading up the cheaper ingredients ie rice etc and cutting back massively on the other ingredients, ie chicken etc. Know that cost of living is increasing but that's also the case for the customer. Feels like a a bit of a rip off now. Won't be going back for a while, see if things improve,

Wagamama is my go to for food & drink , you can see into the kitchen & watch your food being prepared, staff are very welcoming & polite , cleanliness is exceptional, the food is absolutely delicious I have the katsu curry or chicken & rice bowls , there is indoor & outdoor seating also

Bowl full of rice and Carrott with a tiny portion of beef, which was unacceptable, especially for the price. Friendly staff. Crap food! Better portions of meat required for the price. Rip off!!!

The chilli squid was delicious. The overall experience was a vast improvement on the restaurant at Manchester Airport.

Ordered a vegan pad Thai, 2 pieces of chicken were in it. Been vegan for 10 years literally unacceptable and not even offered any compensation just a refund. I feel a complimentary or discounted meal would be appropriate. The manager said there was nothing that could be done on her part to make up for it, seemingly quite unbothered. Don’t order from here if you’re vegetarian or vegan or if you have allergies they don’t take any of it seriously apparently.

Amazing place with great food and such lovely staff. Kept an eye on us at all times to see if we needed anything, and if we did it was fixed immediately. Amy and Meg even wrote us down some recommendations for Manchester and surroundings when we mentioned we are on holiday here.

The worst food I tried in England. Everything was salty as heck! The taste of sauce in the cauliflower was confusing and disgusting. The miso soup is supposed to put at ease, not give a feeling like throwing up! Gyoza was ok but again too salty. It isn't worth the money I paid.

First time trying a Wagamama and Maria was nice enough to answer questions about the menu and make recommendations. I had a chicken katsu curry and some beef dumplings and I've got to say both dishes were amazing. There are knives and forks which are a godsend for the curry but I did brave the chopsticks for the dumplings to mixed success. Overall I'd definitely recommend Wagamama to those looking for something a bit different and the Media City location was brilliant ✨

We had been to a show at the Lowry and decided to go and get some food. We decided on wagamama, not somewhere we have visited often, but it was a lovely sunny evening and there was a table outside, so thought we would try it. We asked for an aperol spritz, but they didn't have/ make it ! We had a starter of bao buns with duck and hoisin sauce, they were nice. Our mains were katsu curry, which, unfortunately was disappointing, the curry tasted like some that you would get from a Chinese takeaway and the chicken tasted just like breaded goujons cooked from frozen, a heap of rice in the middle of the plate and some unappetising salad on the side. Our waiter was Jazz, very polite and good service from him. The food wasn't what we were expecting, so probably wouldn't return.

One of the worst experiences as far as staff and service is concerned. They are unable to meet with the needs of the customer.

We use Wagamama regularly and have never been disappointed. This restaurant was great, the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful, paying close attention to the allergies our daughter suffered from. The food was, as always, excellent and plentiful, and the cost reasonable. Service is good but, as the dishes are cooked freshly, you may have to wait a little while.

Usually pretty good, sometimes can get super rowdy.

I absolutely love this place, I’m literally obsessed with it. The food is amazing, the staff are so lovely and friendly, I’m there all the time and they know what I drink as soon as I sit down. That in itself is incredible customer service. Thank you for making every visit worthwhile.

After running the Manchester Marathon, I needed some delicious fresh food and a relaxed atmosphere. That’s exactly what we got, the food was delicious, filling and fresh, the atmosphere and service was chilled and friendly. I also left my headphones there and can’t thank Ami enough for posting them back to me in Scotland! Amazing customer service, thanks so much.

We came at Sunday the time after lunch. No need to wait for a table. The appetizer is quite nice. The ramen is alright but the beef hot pot, which is not hot or with a hot pot, make us a bit confused. Anyway the food is still good.

Great choice of food, and plenty of it at a very reasonable price. This is my second visit in 4 weeks. Excellent, attentive, friendly staff. It's just 5 mins walk from the Lowry theatre so perfect for a pre theatre meal.

Good food, good and very quick service keeping drinks topped up. Did have an issue with our meal but wasn't a deal breaker and the team gave us a desert on the house to make up for the mistake. It was a nice quiet evening but my only issue was the lights. The heat coming off the booth lighting was quite alot and we found ourselves trying to get out from under the light.

Tried the pork belly ramen for the first time and it was a perfect meal in this cold weather! Vegan corn dogs were also unique and interesting to try

First time trying out Wagamama. Service was great and throughout for new comers. I ordered a Beef Brisket Ramen and my wife’s veggie gyoza udon and our sides was Tama Squid. Didn’t wait long. The veggie gyoza was nice, served on top of the udon yet still crunchy. A better way to make sure gyoza still crunchy would be serve them on a separate plate though. Soy dip sauce was nice as well. Udon was chewy which is good. Broth a bit too spicy for her taste. Overall a solid dish. Beef Ramen however was a disappointment. If you have been to Japan, then you would understand how big of a let down it is. Ramen colour is a sad white instant noodle colour. A proper ramen should be eggy yellow. Flavour is bland, no ramen tastes at all, it tastes plain like instand noodle. Texture of the ramen, a good ramen shop would ask how you want your ramen cooked. But overall a good ramen should be chewy and Al Dente. But the one I got was soft and already on the verge of mushy texture. Pretty sure it was submerged too long in the water. Now the beef brisket, I am not certain why they need to make the brisket into a blob of stringy meat like a “pull” style. It doesn’t give any beef flavour at all. I expected brisket should be still in its original form, so that it can soak up more juice to make it tender and juicy. But all I get is a meat texture soy marinaded strings of meat. And the amount was only so little like 3 mouthfuls. Even the gyoza can make it 5 mouthfuls. The Tama Squid was a surprise though. Great little balls of fried squid. Which I definitely recommend to order. Very crunchy yet soft squid and full of flavours. Mayo is a good touch as well. Anyway, it would have been a 4-5 stars experience but the ramen was a let down. If ramen is one of their main selling point, then it’s not doing a very good job.

Great setting in media city, Salford.

I had a fantastic experience with Salford Quays Wagamama when I mistakenly ordered for collection at the Spinningfields branch. The staff, including both the woman and the on-duty manager, were incredibly helpful in processing a refund promptly and efficiently remaking my order. Their quick and courteous service made a potentially stressful situation easy to navigate. Kudos to the team for their exceptional customer service!

Fresh high quality food, however, the service needs a slight improvement. Server walked past our table giving us a wait gesture with their finger all the while serving a table which came in after us.

I had a disappointing experience at Wagamama. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming, and there seemed to be a clique-like environment among the staff. To make matters worse, after each interaction with the servers, we received sarcastic comments saying "you're welcome," which only added to the negative vibes. Our frustration reached its peak when they served us the incorrect food (sending us duck instead of chicken) and then blamed us for the error. The staff displayed a terrible attitude throughout our visit. I understand now why this is the only empty Wagamama’s I have ever walked into. I would strongly advise potential customers to avoid this particular Wagamama location at all costs.

Sat down and had to go ask ask for a server to take our order after 15 minutes waiting. As usual food ok. Asked for another Diet Coke and a 10 minute wait. Tried to scan the QR code to pay and only £3.50 came up for the second drink. Thought about doing s runner as not our fault but too honest to do that. Will go to Nando’s next time at the Lowry for a show.

Always a fan of Wagamama but this one disappointed me. The food didn’t look fresh at all. Gyozas were for sure not fresh. Ramen looked good but the chicken was not freshly cooked and was pretty dry. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was good enough.

Can't fault the service and the food, but were do you get off charging £3-50 for a diet coke, £3-50 for a small cloudy lemonade, and £3-00 for a small sparkling water, when you read your menu and price list on line, they are NOT CORRECT!!! State they are a lot cheaper!!! suggest you update it!!!, very shocked at your prices, £69-25 for lunch is a bit steep,, used to love coming here but will think twice in future,

Food was lovely, although the portion my partner was served had so many beansprouts and very little noodles, it was slightly disappointing. Food was served at very ad hoc times, I understand that it may be the style of wagamamas at certain establishments but it did make enjoying the food together, difficult. The one thing that we weren't very impressed by, I asked for a lemonade to go with my meal... The waiter recommended an alcoholic drink. Luckily for him I'm not teatotal but for certain customers this is not a wise move.

This is much like any other Wagamama. But then, I love Wagamama, so that's not a problem. Their katsu curry is gorgeous. The desserts aren't as good as the main courses, in my opinion.

Went late on a Friday night, just as they were closing up. Staff couldn’t have been cheerier or more accommodating. We left with a delicious takeaway that we ate outside on the deckchairs. Food was excellent, friendly service (and particularly for the time of night) was outstanding.

Went with a friend for a bite and Rafael quickly came to our table to take the order and make sure everything was alright.

I go to Wagamama all the time, it's my absolute favourite place to eat and it never fails to disappoint! 😁 The service was 10/10, so was the food and drinks, absolutely delicious as always! Can't recommend the Padron Pepper enough, or the raisakuree with tofu. They had also accidently made a fire cracker tofu and offered it to us for free as it would have been thrown away, I'm glad I got to try that it was so good and quite spicy so I will probably buy it next time I'm in. I think our servers name was Rosie (sorry if that's not right) but she was fantastic, really seems to enjoy her job and just made us feel so welcome 🥰

We went on a very busy and sunny Sunday with a pup, and we were sat outside. We were served by Rosy/Rosie who took my allergen issue very seriously. She even sorted out a small bowl of chicken for the dog too, which was wonderful. Highly recommended.

I work near wagamama, and have always wanted to try it, ordered a takeaway Ramen with pork belly,and it arrived within 10 mins, absolutely delicious! Compliments to the chefs , you've converted me! Succulent pork in a superbly tasty broth. Yummy!

I visited at around 07:00 pm on Friday 13 May 2023. Gentleman who was our server was lovely but a few of the others were abysmal. First, the wrong table number was written by the host on our table. The online service wouldn’t work. Then, we asked the lady with thin-framed glasses and burgundy hair which table we were on. She was so lazy and said ‘check with your server’. She was actually so rude throughout the night that it was so stressful. Our sides never came and when we asked about it after our mains were finished, nobody suggested that they would remove it from the bill. Abysmal service. Particularly that one lady with dark red hair. Our server was lovely, though!

No booking needed, can get very busy and sometimes you need to queue. Food exceptional, Staff fantastic and friendly, We have been there a couple of times recently and always been looked after really well by Fran, and also Liv. I have an intolerance to all dairy products and they are always ready to help me make the correct choices from the menu. Prices are good and atmosphere is always great. Everything is really clean, including the toilets, which can sometimes let an establishment down. We will be making many more trips to this particular Wagamama.

Had to queue but it was a bank holiday and football was on so no surprise there. Worth the limited wait. Once seated Max took our order and food arrive pretty soon afterwards piping hot and so tasty. Had room for desert and on Max's recommendation went for banana fritter and ice cream. It was divine. If in and around media city give this place a try and will not be disappointed.

Very good. 15 of us in a party and service was friendly and efficient. The manager took great care with the people in our party with food allergies. Food was very nice and everyone enjoyed it. Great to pay with the App so everyone could pay for their own food easily. Great all round. Never been to Wagamam before, hope to go again in the future 5/5.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly supervisor who told us the wait would be 15 minutes but we were seated quickly by our lovely waitress, Nina. We ordered drinks and 3 starters to share between two people (which for reference was a really great amount for light eating). We were also served by Sachin who was polite, genuine, warm and professional. All staff members were a credit to the business. Had such a great time. Thanks Wags!!

The food was very flavourful and a nice, quick treat for the weekend. Portion could be better for the price and quality of the food. I got the miso mackerel and wish the rice was a sticky sushi or jasmine rice as it would have a nicer taste, but really enjoyed the fish. The "vegan ribs" was actually a nice surprise, I love the texture and the sauce had a real kick to it. The "power" smoothies tastss good but would have been better chilled or served with ice to balance with the food, in my opinion. We went when it was very busy but we still got seated and served very quickly. There is some issues with the table qr code to pay, only if that could be made easier?
