Lovely family run Malaysian Restaurant offering consistently good Malaysian food at a reasonable price combined with a friendly service. We have been regulars at this restaurant for many years and we have never had a bad meal. The lady owner of the restaurant has a permanent but genuine smile on her face and we look forward to our visits to this restaurant.

We had the most amazing valentine's dinner - thanks to Kandy. I wasn't feeling great so we opted for a take-away - gutted I couldn't experience the lovely atmosphere at the restaurant, but so happy I could taste Kandy's delicious food. We had the full menu - absolutely worth every penny. Loved the Nasi gurang and do not miss the watalappan ice cream - it's sensational.

Good food, reasonably priced… traditional Nepalese and staff are lovely. More takeaway than dine in but if you do dine in it saves the washing up 😁

Incredible place, they have this special offer on Thursday-Sunday where you get a 3 course meal for £13 and honestly, it’s so worth it. Love their Bhuna and Chicken Pakoras, incredible staff, super friendly and always making sure their customers are getting the best service. Been so many times and this place is one that will always be in my top 3 food places.

Booking was easy and we were greeted in a very welcoming manner. Staff were very attentive throughout and helped guide our menu choice when we asked them. All the food was delicious, very tasty and tailored to our taste. Will definitely visit again.

Agree with previous reviewer that that there are noticeable cutbacks. Paid over £24 for a chicken pad Thai, beef Penang and crackers to take away. My husband and I literally counted the meat out between us there was so little. Delicious food but expensive for what it was and we sadly felt ripped off as we like to support local businesses and it used to be so good.

It’s amazing. First time in Bournemouth and staying in the nearby hotel. Being a Malaysian a long long time ago - this place was amazing and am so glad to speak to the owner and reminisce about old Malaysia. Food was amazing and so far it’s been great. Nice to touch base like this as it’s good for the mind. So thank you for the whole package

Llamé al restaurante un martes y dejé un mensaje pidiendo reservar una mesa para 2 para el sábado. Tuve una llamada los jueves por la mañana para confirmar mi reserva. Aparecimos 5 minutos antes de la hora elegida, solo para que nos dijeran que estaban llenos y que nuestro nombre no estaba en la lista. Les expliqué que tenía una reserva e incluso les mostré mi registro telefónico para mostrar que me llamaron. Después de expresar nuestra decepción, se ofrecieron a poner una mesa frente a la puerta al pie de las escaleras donde los clientes van y vienen a los baños. Nos declinamos y nos fuimos. Me puse en contacto con ellos a través de FB para expresar nuestra decepción, habiendo estado allí anteriormente y disfrutado. En muchos mensajes desde entonces, nunca reconocieron su error y finalmente dijeron que la mesa que nos ofrecieron era temporal mientras esperaban a que otra pareja dejara la mesa que estaba reservada para nosotros. Obviamente, esto no es cierto, ya que a la llegada nos dijeron que nuestro nombre no estaba en su lista. En resumen, Garuda manejó mal la situación. Una simple mano arriba cometimos un error, vamos a volver a reservar de nuevo y cuidar de usted adecuadamente habría sido mi respuesta. La retención de clientes es tan importante en estos días. Quizá Garuda necesite mirar su sistema de reservas.

Food was incredible, decided to eat here whilst staying locally for a few days and seeing some great reviews. It didn't disappoint. Food was hot, fresh and super tasty. Perhaps one of the best meals I've ever had!

Simple, no frills place to get your Korean street food fix. There's a kiosk for you to place your order and then they bring the food to you. We had the tteokbokki and the kimbap - total bill came up to £17.50 so pretty affordable. Both were pretty good - the kimbap was slightly oily (they might have drizzled a little too much sesame oil).
