Food is great as always and customer service is top notch. We had the pleasure of being served by Liz, she displays such amazing customer service which makes having lunch or dinner here such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Food and service great. Our first visit here but not our last. Chicken Panang Curry and Massman Beef Curry both superb. And thanks to the 2 young ladies serving for a lovely night. Live in kentford and they managed to deliver! It was so good! Delivered on time, driver was friendly and delivered with care. The Thai tea is sooooo good. My only tiny criticism is the chicken was a little tough but other than that it was really good and full of flavour.

Really do love the food in this little restaurant. So tasty and plenty of it. Staff could be a bit friendlier but the quality of the food made up for that. I told them it was my mums birthday and they didn’t even acknowledge it where some restaurants bring a little something out so we can sing happy birthday. Great location and good value for money

My husband and I came for dinner. We didn’t have high expectations having been disappointed with other Asian restaurants in the area. The food was made with quality ingredients and tasted as good or better than the authentic Thai that we had in Thailand. I had green curry with coconut rice and my husband had red curry with plain rice. The chicken was clearly chicken breast and there were no mystery parts. The desserts were also delicious. We are definitely adding this place to our list of favorites!

Ate here as our hotel restaurant was closed- starters were lovely but Pad Thai was worst I have ever had.. hubby had spiced belly pork & it was ‘ok.. but not much to shout about’ Service was alright-too busy chatting to the delivery guy than paying attention to the diners. Wished we’d gone elsewhere to be honest.

Came for lunch. Very quiet mid week but food was prepared fresh. It’s nice to have a a choice of drinks as well. Hoped there’s be a lunch menu or but the offer is just a small discount.

Absolutely amazing food! The service was excellent as well with a very sweet staff! We have eaten there twice, and they were so kind to take our order a bit later in the evening when they could have turned us away. The food tasted so good as well! We recommend the panang Curry, the duck, their coconut soup, and the bubble drinks! We will be returning here again soon!

The issue is that I placed an order that they told me would be ready in 30 minutes.. it’s now been an hour… And I’ve tried calling three times now for an update and no answer. This is by far the worst customer service on incorrect time info I’ve ever gotten. Wow…

Our second visit was every bit as good as the first. The restaurant is very clean and the service just right. The high point is the quality and flavour of the food. We enjoyed satay and tempura prawns which we shared to start followed by a prawn green curry for me and beef massaman for my wife. The flavours and spicing were perfect and we enjoyed each mouthful. We have already booked our next visit. Excellent value.

I go to Chang Chai every time im in Mildenhall. Sadly the last time i went the service was poor and there were delivery drivers in the restaurant playing games loudly on their mobiles which ruined the atmos. Amazing food though.

The food was excellent quality as per my other visits. Really really nice, however there were delivery people in the restaurant which ruined the atmosphere completely. It actually made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The service was a little slow compared to my last visit and i definitely felt it had lost the warmness experienced previously

I ate here one time and the food is excellent, but I cannot recommend the ice shake coffees enough! Forget Costa and get coffee here instead 😋

Being the first time here bit wary. Absolutely lovely place. Spotlessly clean including loo. Had chance to have a good look at meu all explained very easy. Mixture of food absolutely delicious. The young lady serving was very polite and and very prompt with service. The iced drinks were refreshing. The food was well cooked and my husband said Labb Batt excuse the spelling was terrific for taste. will start to make this a monthly regular

Got takeout from here today and really enjoyed it. I had the crying tiger (steak with rice, vegetables and spicy sauce). The steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. It is pricy here but if you collect takeout at lunch time, there is a ten percent discount. I will be back.

Visited on a week day lunch time. Very friendly staff. Food was good although there was too much sauce on the sweet and sour chicken, rather spoilt it.

Second time of visiting as the food was perfect the first time. Definitely worth the 40 min drive to come back, superb meal. Service is really friendly and attentive. Although small and few staff the premises are very clean. Our next trip back is already planned.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here with our baby. The location is picturesque and the atmosphere was welcoming and homey. Our food was delicious and so were our beverages. The menu had plenty of options but everything we ate was still exceptional. The service was top notch and kind. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful little Thai! We popped in for a quick lunch and were so impressed with the food, which was easily customisable to our personal preferences and dietary needs. It was also very reasonably priced (especially the alcohol, not really expensive like other Thai restaurants), with 10% off for lunch and takeaway orders. I also have to note how clean this place was! It was absolutely SPOTLESS everywhere. The server was so friendly, a real credit to the place. Will definitely be returning to try more dishes 😋

We really enjoyed our meal at Chang Chai. Friendly staff and cosy restaurant area. Food was very well presented and super tasty! We were very impressed with our light and crispy tempura starters. The main Thai curry was beautiful too. Vegetables all well cooked and the favours were fabulous. My only slight disappointment was service charge added on a 2 person table. All in all, an excellent experience, thank you very much!

Oh man... This is by far the best Thai restaurant I have been to this year. The flavors they give is quite an experience. Hands will become a regular at this place!

I stopped in here for dinner with my teenage son after a day at the local stock car racing. The waitress was very helpful with give us ideas of what to try and when the food arrived it was delicious! We had the ribs and duck spring rolls to start and the duck and chicken fried rice for dinner and couldn't fault any of the food.

Good food and reasonable prices. I do find that the work environment for staff here can be improved. Servers appear to be stressed and micromanaged. I hope working conditions improve here as the staff is very friendly and hardworking.

We ordered satay and prawns for starters. The satay was good, plentiful with great sauces. The prawns were fine, just a bit underwhelming. The mains were sparse and relied heavily on the quantity of rice. The worst bit was what I believe was a MSG hangover the next day. I haven’t experienced that in years. I love Thai food, let me start by saying that. This is not the best authentic Thai I have had despite the flavours being ok. Anything on the menu with tempura definitely isn't, it's thick gloopy batter and I question if the chefs even know what Tempura is(!) ? Go to the other thaii in Ely.

19th March 2022 We arrived at the Chang Chai Thai Kitchen late in the evening, about 8pm. Local Chinese, including our fav, all take away only. But Chang Chai is sit in. Mum asked, what's it like? I said similar to Chinese. We ordered, Spring rolls and Duck rolls. Delicious and big rolls. Mains of Pad Thai, Massman Curry and chicken Satay. Superb food all round, so much so, we went back on the Saturday.

Customer service 5/5 , hospitality 5/5, menu 😋 👌 food 10/10.

I have eaten Thai food in Thailand and other places in the uk, this wasnt the best. The softshell crab was overcooked, the food had no flavour. It was also massively over priced i may be a little harsh giving 1 star, if it wasnt so expensive, i would have given 2 thai food is bursting with flavour, sadly this wasnt even close

Very nice people, patiently waited for the late arrivals of some of our group, no rush & a relaxing place of drinks, food, more drinks, more food - over a 3 hour period on a Saturday evening ! Everyone enjoyed the quality & quantity of everything too ! Would definitely return as prices reasonable & staff deserved their good tip ! Also the manager was always on hand checking up thet all ways OK for us !

It's not often you see a review from "Behind the scenes" but i recently did some work for this restaurant in their duct and extraction system. I can honestly say I've never stepped foot in a cleaner, well maintained, organised kitchen in my entire working life. This place is absolutely spotless. No wonder the food is so great! I will definitely be taking my family to eat here.

Fantastic food- not you run of the mill take away. Price was low for quantity & quality of food. I recommend the salt and pepper squid and the pad thai. My only suggestion would be for the chef to turn up the heat on the wok as the sear was lacking. Although this may just be personal preference.
