Freya's Grill in Blackburn with Darwen

Incredible place, they have this special offer on Thursday-Sunday where you get a 3 course meal for £13 and honestly, it’s so worth it. Love their Bhuna and Chicken Pakoras, incredible staff, super friendly and always making sure their customers are getting the best service. Been so many times and this place is one that will always be in my top 3 food places.

Great food, good quality, piping hot. Will be back again to the menu. Lovely delivery driver.

It was alright, I’ve had better. Got my daughter poppadoms and mango chutney cos she isn’t keen on curry, mango chutney was missing 😩😖 curry was tasty but quite runny compared to what I’ve had before. Chips and rice, very nice. Best prices but sadly will pay more and go elsewhere next time.

1st time ordering as wasn't sure if they delivered to my area but they did and I'm so happy. We ordered set meal for 2. The food was 10/10 it was amazing we enjoyed everything it was perfect. Food was hot and tasty. we ordered a red kebab and curry to share. curry was medium but a little milder than expected but no complaints, next time will just get hot!

The driver Abdul very friendly, the mixed grill sizzler was not fully cooked , chicken quarter was not cooked inside (pink) and the lamb chops was not cooked in middle . Everything else was lovely .

I had a great time there, I went for my 18th and the waiters were very polite, they made sure our food was okay and regularly kept coming over to see if we needed anything, they came with a cake that my mum gave them and sang happy birthday and yeah it was the best experience I could have asked for on my 18th birthday. Thank you so much for all of this and again I appreciate the food and the service you have provided to us and I will be going here a lot more often.

Always amazing whether eating in or takeaway. Staff very friendly and good is excellent value for money

Despite not pre booking and restaurant busy they found a table for us within minutes. Mixed kebab and chicken chatt starters arrived quite quickly and were as good as any we’ve had, piping hot and tasty. Main courses of Chicken Aje Baje with keema rice and Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan arrived 15 mins after we finished our starters. Both dishes excellent, aje bajo spiced just right for me and the garlic naan especially good. Good value for money and really friendly efficient staff, we will definitely return and try out different dishes. Atmosphere good, noisy kids on next table took the edge off a little but can’t complain as we would have had a longer wait to be seated if we had asked for a table away from those with kids. Overall I’m giving it 4.8/5.

Fab food, great service every time

The only restaurant we ever go to ( on the rare occasion we go out). We get the £13 meal deal and even with drinks and dessert it never comes to above £25 per person. I highly recommend the chilli explosion l. We also get regular takeaways from here and they are unmatched. I recommend the meal for two as it usually feeds at least 3 of us or the bad boy burger as is amazing.

Best place in Darwen for a meal. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is top rate. My teenage son loves it too and it’s his always his requested place to go for his birthday. A very friendly, family run restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious and has a wide selection of Piri Piri and British cuisine dishes too, making it a great place to eat when lots of people in the group like different food or are fussy eaters. There’s a discount for takeaways too.

We were a Party of 6 , who went to Freya’s Grill this evening. First time here for all of us . Terrific service , great menu and the food/drinks were all excellent. First time we’ve ordered from Freya’s Grill. The chicken chaat was delicious and the balti was really tasty. Definitely recommend and we will be ordering again.

Ordered a battered chicken burger, which was unexpectedly a little bit spicy hot, but good, my order came with chips like steak cut size and strange choice of mild or spicy hot 'chutney' pots thrown in ? Which is a first for me to have chutney with chicken burger n chips ? Anyway, food was delivered much earlier than stated and was still hot.. so I can't really complain, I'd have to recommend only 4 * out of 5 though.. (you lost a star sending chutney sauces instead of mayo n ketchup) Enjoy !

The food was excellent but we had delivery and it was only just warm by the time it arrived (on time).

The order was delivered on time abd was really good. The only downside was that it was not hot.

So, I'm staying in the area for work and was looking for something different than the standard Premier Inn dinner. After a little research, I came across "Ferya's Grill" I headed down there after a brief walk and bus journey, of which took about 30 minutes in total from the closest Premier Inn. Once I arrived, I had a warm greeting which was lovely. I dined in on my own, but it wasn't a issue and the staff put together a table for myself, after a small rearrangement. The setting, atmosphere was very chilled, nice music was playing and was a perfect temperature inside without being too hot or too cold. I went for the £13 meal deal, which included any starter, poppadoms with sauces, salad and pretty much any main It's an absolute bargain. I had a pudding and 1 drink of which came to a total of £21 (for my main I had to add like £2 as my burger was a huge one). I had poppadoms, onion Bhaji and a beef and peri peri chicken burger with chips. The food was served very efficiently, I didn't have to wait to long for my food to arrive. All of the food was very fresh and really nice. It was a absolute pleasure to dine here, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. As I'm up here for the week, I'll be coming back to try something else. I definitely recommend coming here. Thank you very much for a great meal and experience.

The chicken tikka masala was heavenly, and the peshwari naan was too! Really enjoyed the food, came hot and on time! Will 100% be ordering again soon!

4 of us dined we told waitstaff we wanted 2 bills. The young gobby manager insisted we had one bill he would seperate it later. We were only given a full menu not the fixed price meal deal of £13.When poppadoms arrived they brought just one selection dips I asked for another one. Didn't get one asked a different person then gobby arrived to argue with me. Gobby took the order but never explained that some of the items weren't covered on the fixed price deal which he later added on our bill £1.25 for garlic on the naan £1.25 for keema rice .The older gentleman in the restaurant was very sociable but GOBBY spoilt my evening. Very argumentative and constantly called me madam even though I asked him 4 times not to call me Love or madam. Food was excellent atmosphere was very pleasureable but GOBBY ruined the whole evening.

If you like cold damp food, this is the place for you. I’d rather let jimmy saville dj at my kids party than order here again

Took over an hour to arrive, and by the time it was here it was cold, the rice had started to clump and the breads were soggy. The only ok part of the food was the popadoms and chutney tray. Really disappointed as we had heard good things about here

Best Indian in Darwen, Food is always really good. Service is impeccable always. All the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The mid week 3 course meal is an absolute steal. Always enjoy coming here we will certainly be making it more of a regular occurrence. I normally eat more of a spicy curry but I always opt for the aje baji here. The chicken shirzi (possibly spelling that incorrect) is very nice also I'd certainly opt for that in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful meal and wonderful service.

We went here for a family meal on Christmas day and the food was excellent!! It was our first time here but will not be our last!!! The service in this place is just superb, all of the gentlemen were so attentive and welcoming, such a lovely family feel. We will absolutely be returning as we are local. Went last night after we couldn’t get a table at one of the more established Darwen restaurants, and we are SO glad we did. This little gem wiped the floor with anything we have had elsewhere. Friendly and attentive service, nice ambiance, and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were substantial, and clearly prepared with top quality ingredients. This is now our ‘go to’ Indian in Darwen 👌
