The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

we went there february, very bad experience. quite dirty and horrible service. i would not recommend this restaurant.

Do not eat here. Just had a meal here and service was appalling and slow! Walked through door and waitress asked if we wanted poppadoms to which we said yes. Didn't ask us if we wanted drinks. Waitress forgot about poppadoms and partner heard her say after 5 mins say "sorry I better tell them about the poppadoms". Drinks arrives whilst eating poppadoms. I then had to call manager over to order our mains as no waitress took our order. Food came after 20 minsl and waitress was unclear as to what we actually ordered (manager took our order). Started to eat our food and chicken didn't taste right. Told waitresses and asked to speak to manager (who was conveniently out on delivery). Manager was phoned and told us to pay x amount. We asked for menu to work out what we should pay for and waitresses were extremely rude. Paid money and left. Will not eat here again due to extremely poor food and customer service.

Highly disappointed with the service and quality of the food. The staff were unfriendly and not particularly helpful. No one was smiling or even trying to be friendly to the customers. The food left me with a stomach ache and some nausea. Often this is a sign of the quality of ingredients or cooking oils. I would think twice before coming here.

Haven’t been in a while and I thought the food was really nice. Does not deserve the rating it currently has. I’d definitely return now. If you fancy something different to Italian give this a go.

My good friend actually went there, not me, to buy some 'Matilda' cake as a Birthday present for me. It was sooooo delicious, we shared it, and there is still plenty left for another day. Happy to recommend 😁

We stopped here as it was one of those nights where we just wanted to eat and couldn’t be bothered to think too much about it. You can choose from Rice or Noddles, a meat/soya and some veg. Add some sauce and that’s your meal. It’s about as good / bad as you make it really. Dr Noodles are quite generous with the noodles and veg, but the flavour is not going to win any awards. Tbh if you want quality rice / noodles then go to your local takeaway, however if you want a quick bite and don’t care what it tastes like, this place is for you.

This is my favorite Bangladeshi restaurant in the UK. Food is fabulous as well as service. Everything was so clean and nice. The food remind me my Mum's cooking. I always recommend this place. just love it ,,

We were family of four, 2 adults and 2 children (8 & 10). Lovely meal and good value, family of four around £90. Very good service we had. The BBQ was cooked by one of the staff. I guess if you request to do it yourself, then I think you can.

Kolapata has amazing Bangladeshi food, connecting you to the culture of the Asian country. Food has wonderful taste and SPICE. The restaurant service is a little slow, yet manageable. Food doesn't cost much. The restaurant is hard to get to via public transport. A tip - their mix bhorta gives you a lot - making a great price-saver.

A great meal as always... Nothing is too much trouble! Friendly and attentive staff. Thanks again. We'll be back soon.

Had our meal with family and friends on few occasions, food was really nice. Have been coming from last few years food is always nice and fresh. Happy to dine again.

Great welcome, service and food was excellent. Really enjoyed our visit. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed talking to the new owner. If you haven't tried the Raj Douth in awhile it's worth a visit!

Es lindo trabajar pasión mantener el más concurrido el negocio por la comida china. Y mantener el buen trabajo! ! ! Por desgracia, es hoy en día. . . Es mi desenfado romper y contrariado. . . Restaurante cerrado ahora joven Cheng! No sé qué sucedió hacer ahora? ? ? Podría ser renovación o ido. . . Mucha gente que le encanta este restaurante para siempre. Pero este propósito cómo desilusionamos que uso favorito muy desilusionamos. . . Cómo ido o cerrado, no hay aviso de la información no es. (Qué triste perdido: reletion. . . Bastante cerrado por desaparecido o algo por reforma? ? ? Pero espero que intentarán reabrir aún mismo, volveré de nuevo. . . Espero volver abrir o ver aún desaparecido. . . Went and collected my takeaway. Very disappointed with my Chicken Vindaloo. All potatoes with two or three pieces of chicken. Was not tasty. Upset.

We dined at Chi as we weren’t from the area, and thought the menu and food sounded great. We have 2 young children, so dining out is a bit of a treat to say the least. Kids menu looked good so we took the plunge. Upon arrival everything was good, we booked for 16:30 on a weds afternoon/evening so we hoped it wasn’t busy! Only 1 other table in, who came after us. We were shown to our table and given menus. About 10 mins later they came and took our drinks order and a couple of mins later drinks arrived. Took the food order, but there was no mention of what to order if we hadn’t been here before, so we just ordered a few dishes from both the small plates and the chef specialties. Think the server was getting a bit confused with the kids menu, clearly don’t have that many children in! But eventually got there. Food came within 15 minutes and was delicious! However, we didn’t recieve a check back during the course of our meal, thankfully everything was good. We asked for the bill, which seemed to take forever, despite there only being us and 1 other table in. The waitress (different person to the person taking our order) hadn’t been there long so was having difficulty with the bill. I then felt rushed to pay, as she just stood there waiting for me look over the bill and pay. Regrettably forgetting about the 12.5% service charge! Think this is a Way of making sure that people don’t check it (hidden at the bottom of the bill) therefore making you pay the extra. Recommended for the food, but not necessarily the service.
