Great Thai food at a reasonable price. We ordered dumplings and main dishes, and everything was so great! The pad Thai was specially spectacular!

If I could give the restaurant less than one star I would . The food was cold, undercooked and the staff were rude. We weren’t even allowed to finish our meal. They advised us they needed the table after 35 minutes of being seated . When I wrote to their complaints team they accused my child of not treating the staff with respect. I am astonished.

Ordered from Deliveroo. Honestly, the worst tasting food I’ve had in a while. Ordered the Superfood Tofu in Teryaki sauce which was swimming in tasteless oil. Coconut rice was about 100g, which is a rip off. The edamame had no salt on them. The pad Thai delivered came without any peanuts and was also tasteless. The Biscoff cheesecake arrived as a soup - it either melted en route or only sauce had been placed in the container. I don’t often write bad reviews but this felt like an inauthentic con.

This restaurant was recommended to me by my son and daughter-in-law who had been here before. We were seated downstairs which suited us perfectly as we had a small child with us. The service was excellent - very attentive. The food was excellent. When the staff accidentally found out that it was my 70th birthday, they surprised me with a dessert with a candle. A very nice touch. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and will be going back there again in yhe near future.

The Music was very Loud we asked it to be turned down which they did. My friends Main course did not contain all the vegetables mention for this Main. We made a complaint the Waitor said OK we will not Charge you for that. When we recieved the Bill my friend had been charged full price. We disputed this and we were told the Waiter offered 50% off ? He had not so had basically lied to his manager. My friend was on a tight budget so we were not happy with the food or the manager and staffs attitude. We will not be returning there are plenty of other resturants in Hampstead.

We had such a lovely evening here! Our server Josh was so amazing, he looked after us so well. Made us feel so welcome and looked after. The food was delicious and great value! A lovely atmosphere as well. Will definitely be returning.

We celebrated our anniversary at Dim T and could not have asked for a happier or more delicious evening. It started when a manager offered us a more comfortable and quieter table than the one we were first shown to, and continued with excellent food and friendly, professional service. Had a nice lunch in this Asian restaurant. Started by sharing pork bao buns and pork dim sum. Bao buns are far superior and worth the extra £1. My son and I had pork ramen soup with noodles. Was delicious and would have it again. Reasonable price. Had cranberry juice to drink. Service was patchy. Friendly East European waitress looked after us at first. However I gave our food order to a guy and he managed to get it wrong. Dim sum was missed and came later, as was one of the main courses, so my son and my wife had finished their food before mine was delivered. However the food was very good.

Just locals feasting on good quality Chinese and Thai food. Prices are very reasonable, given the area, and 500cl of Kiran is £6.25. Excellent service. Enjoyed it and an empty plate from the darling daughter is the highest praise I know.

This restaurant is next to the office I worked in in the eighties. Didn't start off promisingly with the staff chatting among themselves and ignoring me,the sole customer. However it got better. I had 2 dim sum,duck,and prawn from the limited selection.They were very tasty.I also had Noodle Ramen with Chicken dumplings. With Jasmine tea and service the bill came to £25,which was reasonable. So an enjoyable return to my old haunts.

The place is very cozy with extraordinarily warm staff and relaxing atmosphere. The selection of dishes is rich of healthy ingredients and food. I strongly recommend this restaurant to people of any age and for any occasion.

We have been eating at the Hampstead Dim T for many years. The food is reasonably priced and good and the service is always excellent and friendly. There are plenty of veggie options. Highly recommended!

Dim T is situated on Heath Street and is very close to Hampstead underground station. I visited on two midweek occasions after walking on the Heath and enjoyed both meals immensely. On the first visit on a Monday afternoon, I had a selection of half a dozen Dim Sum - three scallop and prawn and three duck and ginger at a cost of £9.30. These were tasty and were washed down with a couple of cold bottles of Asahi beer at £4.45 apiece. On the second occasion on a Wednesday afternoon, I opted for Japanese fried rice with prawn, including a range of vegetables in a teriyaki sauce for £9.95. This was an excellent dish accompanied by a large bottle of Tiger beer which cost £6.95. Service was great on both visits and we were able to secure a table easily each time. However I understand it is advisable to book in advance at weekends and in the evening. My fellow walkers also thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we would not hesitate in coming back when next in the vicinity.

We ordered dim sums as starters, followed by crispy duck and lemon chicken. The food was very well prepared, everything was fresh and served quickly. The general experience was great. We were lucky to be served by very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner!

Awful! Truly awful! I really hate to write this about a local Rstaurant as there are so few local choices . But I was at DimT last night and the food was poor. We had dim sum to start ... which was okay . The mains though - Nasi Goreng and chilli beef and some cauliflower dish- were all bad. Everything was overcooked, utterly tasteless and smothered with lots of sticky sauces to hide the disaster. I have nothing good to say, I’m sorry . Don’t go. The cost for two of us with 2 lemonades was £60. Very upsetting to spend so much on such a poor quality meal .

We've been fans of Dim T for a while and have frequented this branch for some time. The atmosphere is great and the food is always good, with welcome new additions to the menu being introduced regularly. The biggest plus though comes in the form of the team, who are always welcoming and do what they can to make your experience better. After a recent mix up, they totally spoilt us and made us feel very valued. Special mention to the manager, who could not do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable evening.

This place is a hidden gem. Good value for money. Simple Asian food done well. Definately recommended!

Visited with family on a very busy Sunday lunch. There were two other groups waiting for tables when we arrived but we were still seated within five minutes despite not having booked which was impressive considering how rushed off their feet the staff were - they were friendly, cheerful and pleasant and were efficient with taking our order and delivering drinks. Dim sum starter was very tasty - would particularly recommend the duck & ginger or the chicken/cashew/corriander. I had the 12-hour pork broth BBQ rib Ramen and it was excellent; broth had a lovely rich and deep flavour that ended with a nice spice further into the bowl. Meat was good quality and both of our party who ordered the dish had a perfectly cooked egg with yolk still runny. Will definitely be going back to try more dishes!

I’ve been a few times to their sister restaurant in Charlotte St and the food and service has been amazing. Tonight we tried a takeaway from this location and it was dreadful. I did wonder why when we walked into a rather busy restaurant and ordered take - the food came in ten minutes. Because I’m pretty certain they just reheat slop. Never again. Save your money folks.

Food was horrible and the place smelled like old furniture. Prawns in my food were from frozen pack and I could cook better noodles if I were drunk.. even the edamame were old and undercooked.

Quedó muy claro que acababan de calentar la comida en el microondas y la volvieron a empaquetar. Estaba empapado. El pato estaba empapado. Los fideos blandos, el curry bombardeado.Por tu bien, ve a otro lugar y evita a toda costa.

A pesar de que recibieron nuestro pedido correctamente (llamé al restaurante y verifiqué lo que decía el pedido) lo atribuyeron a deliveryoo, lo cual no es justo. No disculpas. if you can park whilst waiting to go to the cinema, pop in and have a quick bite. Not bad at al and good herbal tea here. Service is usually good and it's generally busy which is a good sign.

Made a last minute booking Monday as we had arranged to meet our son in Hampstead and wandered down the high street to see the most appealing of choices.

I was there with a big group of friends and didn't we have a great time Courteous waiter and always with a smile to suggest dishes or take additional orders. Even gave us a second round of Fortune Cookies. Thank you. It was fun.

We usually never have a bad meal or experience here. However last Saturday a group of us went for some food and the food was quite average.

This place has more faults then u can wver image. The food was not only warm but order was mixed up twice and sent back. Staff are rude and both me and my friend are pregnant and onr is a veggie who is now worried she has eatten meat due to the duck spring rolls ci taining more veg then duck and being told they were veg! No toilet paper or hand wash. Staff couldn't careless and need to get someone serious customer service lessons. Never going back! Want to make people aware.

Ate dinner with a friend and ordered all kinds of dim sum dishes - all were excellent. Service was attentive. We got to sit at 1 of 2 outside tables and drink Tiger beer. Will remember this great meal for a long time.

We regularly visit this branch of Dim T and recently had another enjoyable evening. The crispy duck and dim sum are always really good but this time we met Claudio who was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very accommodating and friendly.

We go to Dim T in Hampstead about once a month. The food is always delicious! On occasions service can be a little slow but take your time to enjoy. They have a couple of outside tables which are lovely in this hot weather.

La comida aquí es simplemente sublime. Tuvimos una selección de dim sum y bollos al vapor para empezar. Eran deliciosos. Para los platos principales katsu curry vegetariano tuve mi pareja y yo tuvimos crujientes de pollo. Coreano Todo era absolutamente perfecto. Me decepcioné cuando era más.

A última hora, tarde en la noche a visitar Dim T, el personal era muy agradable y servicial, y la comida superó nuestras expectativas! Las bolas eran deliciosos, una de las mejores que he comido en Londres, y he probado un montón! Nos sentimos muy bienvenidos y el ambiente era relajado y feliz!

The menu has changed and the portions have got tiny. Ordered the teriyaki stir fry-was totally tiny and totally flavourless. Don’t waste your time or money-the place has gone downhill and I suspect that this chain will go bust in time. Rip off places never last long. The service was good but the food not ! It’s time to part Company Dim’t. Was good while it lasted....

We have ordered shrimp and peanut dim sums and a crispy duck bao bun to start with, with some ginger tea. All of this arrived relatively quickly, although the bao bun was not a bun, it was a half baked, half steamed looking dim sum set. The crispiness of the crispy duck was gone as it was quite soggy already. Moving on to main course, we ordered a crispy and a steamed plate of sea bass, with steamed rice to share. We waited an hour and a half, and have also asked the waiters three times about when we could get the main courses by. I should also point out that there were only about 5 other tables occupied at the restaurant, and most of them have already been eating when we got there, so there wasn't a crowd to deal with. After such a long time, we were ready to can dinner when they finally gave us the food (probably pressured to put something in front of us by then.) Sadly it wasn't the quality we have remembered from previous dim T visits - the crispy sea bass consisted of small and chewy (not crispy) pieces of mainly batter and some fish, the sauce was nice but it was so much in the plate that it made the battered pieces of fish soggy very quickly. The roasted beans were nice though. The steamed sea bass looked nice and tasted nice, though nothing special. We did get 25% off of the bill without even asking and it was obvious that the waiters felt really bad about what was happening - they were attentive and friendly throughout so it was clear something was up in the kitchen. I have no idea what happened really, but it was a disappointing experience, especially as we had high hopes, remembering all the previous times we have visited Dim T (albeit a different branch) before.

We used to visit regularly. I went back after a bunch of years they have changed the menu and no longer had my fav. Wanton mee soup on the menu. When I asked the manager why he told me that they had NEVER HAD SUCH A THING. On the menu. When I asked for a similar soup but to change the dim sum he said that would be £7 extra.. fine but he would have to charge for original chicken dumplings cause once the pack was opened as everything came in packs nothing he could do. The food was disgusting cooked off site and re heated and the manager was so rude

Spicy Chicken:Cooked really well. The flavour was good. It had bit of chill inside the dim sum, however it had the right amount of kick. Wasn't too spicy. The texture was good and therefore highly recommend. Prawn and Scallop: The flour used for making the dim sum seemed a bit too soft. I prefer the ones where when you pick the Dim sims using chopsticks. The flavour seemed very average. Chicken, Wasabi and Mushroom: Again the texture due to the way it was cooked seems a bit too soft. Couldn't really taste the wasabi or the mushroom but may be it's due to the fact that I used bit of soy sauce and chilli oil.Verdict: Highly Recommend Spicy Chicken Dim Sums. The other two can be skipped and you won't regret it. I didn't try the rest. I am sure they will be other good options Service is good. The manager is very enterprising.

For once we could have a conversation. All the food was cooked for us - not just warmed up and everything we had was delicious. Very reasonable and good service.

Absolutely brilliant!!!!!!!Came to London Hamptead Heath area to do things. Was looking for a Chinese Restuarant before returning home and came across this place by chance due to finding a parking space.We were lucky to get a table without reservation.Everything was excellent in this place, the food -- pan-Asian with Chinese, Malaysian, Singapore, and Thai choices.Staff were excellent, attentive and speedy.Hope to have a chance to return -- will book next time to avoid disappointment

4 of us came to this small chain for an evening meal. WSe started with a selection of 3 different Dim Sum to share (each was very different and tasty).We then had a selection of Noodle and Soup dishes that were good. Options included a " fresh mint and coriander in a vegetable broth" with gyoza (vegetable or chicken) and a"hot and sour lemon grass broth" which you could have with chicken, prawn or salmon. I asked if I could have the salmon in the vegetable broth, and they did were happy to do this; always nice when variations to the menu are accommodated.Overall, a nice meal, with some good flavours and helpful waiting staff, and would certainly be happy to return/recommend

Less than average food quality: crispy battered seabass persisted of mainly batter and hardly any fish. Barely no meat on the ribs, no real flavour of food in general. But probably we shouldn't expect more from this chain restaurant. So if you go there for just a fast bite for low price, might be ok

I've now been twice and was happy both times. The service was good and the decor is so cute. I'd suggest booking a table if going on a Saturday at peak time because it was very full and we were lucky to get the last remaining table.

Me and two friends thought we'd try the dim t in Hampstead first thought was it looks busy, but when we went in we got a warm welcome we're seated within minutes. I ordered the salt and pepper prawn starter which I must say was very tasty and a nice size portion, my friends had the satay chicken which also got the thumbs up.for the main course I chose the crispy duck and pancakes, the duck was dry but the skin was crispy and I got quite a big portion,ending in some duck being left, it was a tiny bit disappointing but the others said there food was good one had a Korean style chicken curry the other had a vegetarian curry both were very satisfied with their choices. The staff were very friendly and not overly fussy as sometimes happens on a busy night with people wanting to be seated,all in all it was good and we will go again.

Unimpressive. Service was sloppy. The starters arrived with the mains. It was claimed we said all together. However my son's veggie sticks starter did not arrive till we reminded them. And the tap water did not arrive. When reminded the senior waitress had a breezy attitude which ignored the fact that she was aware of the order.

Had not been to Dim T for a while, used to be a regular favourite. Was very unimpressed with the quality of the food. Pad Thai portion very small and stingy prawn portion. Superfood stirfry essentially just chopped up veg in a bowl. Completely lacking in flavour. Dim Sum still decent. Won't be going again - real shame.

This restaurant is usually packed out in the evenings, but I was invited by friends for the restaurant's 3-5pm special deal. As it happens the deal was only for August. Nevertheless, being there, we ordered. It was surprisingly quiet at that time of day. I had a couple of the Dim Sum which were excellent-a bit sticky and difficult to handle with chop sticks, but delicious. Then the crispy duck, whih was absolutely superb. Just enough for one person, The meat was just right-not too dry and the skin was as it should be-crispy. Elsewhere I have complained about being given too few wraps for the duck provided, ot they were too fragile and tore when I rolled them, but not here. An excellent meal and not unreasonably priced. I hope to return soon.

Went with a friend for a quick bite , the starters veg gyoza was really good , horrible thai green curry made from some paste and frozen food . The waiter / manager just 1 staff in the restaurant was good and really saw the left over and the problems with green curry which look liked like white korma, tasted the preservatives from a jar of curry paste from tescos next door . Please see the pictures of my meal it's been horrible meal since than I feel bloated . Can't even walk pass the restaurant .

We went to this little restaurant just recently and were positively surprised how delicious their food was.Everything was either steamed or cooked quickly in a wok.There a lot of vegetarian option available and helpful staff are at hand to go through alternative options for customers with special requirements.The desserts are yummy and good for you.This restaurant is not cheap but we all need some treats sometimes.

The service is really slow and miserable - the food is equally as disappointing. So annoyed I didn't just go to Wagamama which is so much friendlier, quicker, tastier, and cheaper.Don't bother visiting this place, you'll not enjoy it at all!

Went here for lunch today. I'm a massive fan of Thai food so was really looking forward to it. From outside its looks really warm and cosy. The lady was friendly and showed us to a table straight away. It was fairly busy for lunch time which I thought was a good sign. We got a main each and ordered a side to share along with two drinks. We was asked if we wanted the starter to come out with the mains or have the starter first, I told them we wanted the starter first. After 15 minutes the mains was brought out but no sign of the starter, I think I was overheard saying to my boyfriend where's the starter because one of the waiters then came up to me and asked if I had ordered a starter, I said yes and was then told that the guy had forgot to put through our order for the starter and that it would be 10 minutes. So we had our mains followed by our starter lol!! I had Singapore noodles.... It was nice but to be fair I've had better much much better. Bill came to £30 which I thought was really good. It just clearly needs more organisation and to be fair the atmosphere seemed a bit flat. Wouldn't recommend if you want a nice sit down meal or somewhere with a good atmosphere to meet with friends. If your in the area though and your hungry then why not give it a go.

We eat here at least once a week with the kids. The staff are super friendly (though service is not always super fast), there are tons of things for the kids (stickers, crayons, drawing, a great kids' menu, lovely kids' desserts, fun cups for them with floating animals), but also the food is delicious and the place somehow still seems to remain elegant enough for adults to enjoy their meal, with or without kids. My only gripe is that only 3 pieces come in the dim sum orders and the dim sum is my favorite thing on the menu, (each dish is £4 or so each), so to get a full meal, I end up spending £20 just for myself. If I just ordered a regular main, I could get by on £8. That annoys me.

I was surprised that the food wasn't better than it was. Nothing was brilliant - but average. The service was alright but for where this is and the competition around the place, I can't think that they will get much repeat business,

How nice and refreshing to be able to write a positive review. Food tasty, fragrant, fresh and beyond expectation. Great efficient and friendly service by well trained and very polite staff. Good value. Well done. Keep up the standard and you will go far.

Popped in here for a quick lunch after an appointment at the Royal Free around the corner. The menu isn't huge, but there are dishes inspired by China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and Korea. The crispy beef was a fancy version of sweet and sour. I also had Wanton Mee (a sort of fancy wanton soup) which was good but not strongly flavoured. There are pots of nicely flavoured chilli on the table to add, which I definitely recommend. The prawn and pork dimsum was reasonable, though pricey for what it was (3 pieces!)Overall, if you are used to eating in authentic restaurants you will probably be disappointed. But if you go in with average expectations for "Asian" food you will have a nice meal.

I have been in this restaurant a few times and never ordered the same stuff twice. I always got a nice meal which was too big to my stomach to finish, so I never left hungry. The restaurant was almost always packed but I still received friendly and fast service. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was great and not too pricey. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Thank you ! :)

We have our office lunches here sometimes and it is really good food, nice staff and served well. A good choice and if you don't know what something is they will explain. We also have take outs from here

We visited on a Friday at lunchtime. The restaurant was full and there was only one person working the front of the restaurant- serving and bussing. Needless to say because of lack of staff the service was poor. The food on the other hand was average. Dim sum was not horrible but not good. I ordered pad Thai which was the worst I have ever tasted, watery and no flavour. My husband had the crispy shredded beef which tasted burnt. This probably goes without saying but we won't return.

Went here for a saturday dinner with a friend, a pleasant place and atmosphere is really good (clean). The staff are very friendly and very impressed with the service. The menu had sufficient variation to make it interesting and the food was excellent and affordable. This place is worth a visit and definitely will come again. I will recommend it and don't forget to try the dim sum. . . and superfood stir fry!

We've been waiting to visit this restaurant, very close to where we live Finally, we've decided to give it a try and we know for sure we shall not be back soon.The service is very good and professional, but food, while not totally without taste, is simply not authentic. One can only question if they have kitchen that can prepare Asian food and chefs who know what they are making. Duck tasted like a oh-sin duck wrap from Pret, Pad Thai was soggy and flavourless, steamed broccoli was soaked in soy sauce, crispy sea bass was watery to put it mildly, and crispy calamari were so salty that it was impossible to eat them. Selection of dim sum, main reason for us to visit on a Sunday, was so small that we decided to give it a miss. Pity, as we've heard some nice things about this place.

I have been with a friend of mine and the food was excellent, we ate some dim sum and then a lunch box, everything was very good and the staff: Ms. Kaisla very friendly, professional and always with a smile :) only to recommend!!!

As part of a small chain it gives the feeling that it could be a 'one off' The restaurant is really well presented, modern and very clean. The staff are attentive and well informed and the food is tasty. We had dinner here, a shared starter and 2 main courses and a drink each. Cost £45.00. Reasonable value, however take away the cost of our drinks it would have cost £15.00 per head. A visit at lunchtime would make this, for the quality of the food, really good value. We would go again. They also offer a takeaway service.

Expectations, based on experience some time ago, were undemanding. Nevertheless, one was extremely impressed with the quality of the food we enjoyed from the £13 per head 3 course lunch menu.We tried edamame, chicken gyoza, bang bang chicken salad and frozen berries with white chocolate sauce. All were at least very good, though the frozen berries included some deep-frozen clumps that the not-so-hot chocolate sauce was not hot enough to defrost readilyService was amiable and efficient. The ambience was alright thought the choice of music was not what one would have chosen.Overall, though, at this price it was Excellent

Visited on a Saturday night, table for four. Restaurant was quite busy but many tables were still dirty. Had to place our order three times, two tables next to us got fed up of waiting so long they got up and left. Out dishes were not cleared from our table, had to ask to or three times to get drinks. Sadly this branch is not up to the level of some others we have visited, London Bridge for example. The Hampstead branch is not being run very well unfortunatley.

This is a modern easy place to eat. The starters (dumplings and gyoza) were brilliant. The mains (Katsu and yakisoba) were very bland, basic and I think the tofu was off. I probably won't go back.

I had the lobster Asia chilli and it was fantastic,on the downside the crispy noodles were over done and would have preferred soft noodles but you don't get that choice

Lovely meal pleasant surroundings. Male manager was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Came here with my two sons for lunch. Not for a special occasion just wanted to have a 'cheap and cheerful' lunch. The restaurant is comfortable , clean and very functional. Food is a mixture of Chinese and Japanese noodle dishes, rather like wagamama. We had one of the taster plates for a starter , enough for the 3 of us , I had Singapore noodles for my main course and the boys curries. All very nice , a good overall experience.

Quite possibly the worse meal in a long time. It's difficult to get chicken satay wrong - and they did. The crackers were chewy, the duck spring rolls had the minimum amount of duck. Terrible meal and my only regret was that I paid! I won't be going again....ever.

We came here just by chance and did not regret it. The food was good but maybe lacked of portion-size.Dim Sum were amazing as well as the noodles.For the price pay I would recommend more generous portions... but is Hampstead Heath so not surprised.

Having had take aways from dim t regularly, my friends and I decided that go for an eat in dinner. We ordered our starter and mains. The starters arrived stone cold after waiting 30 minutes for them. So we sent them back and were only microwaved warm. Then our mains arrived with the starter plates still on the table which we moved onto the table next to us. Again the mains were cold. But as we had waited so long for the starter we thought we would just eat it and then go. We then over heard many other tables complaining about service. When the waiter came to take the plates at the end of the meal he asked how the meal was to which I explained and his response was oh hopefully it will be better next time! The manager knew there was a problems as when we explained what had happened he instantly discounted our bill. Not impressed.

We've enjoyed several nice meals at DimT - we usually stick to mixed starters in a tapas style meal rather than the mains as we've found these can be a bit variable and stodgy (notably the katsu).The food is generally quite good though the prices are a little steep for quality/portions. Service isn't too bad. The tables are a little squeezed together it can be a little intimate if it's busy.Worth a try.

As a health concious eater, I found that there were many options I could choose from. The meal was tasty, the decor, modern. A lovely night was had by all.

Myself and my partner went here for a change at the weekend after looking at the menu online. It was lovely, food was delicious and service was friendly. Would definitely return

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante dopo aver trascorso la giornata ad Hampstead Heath. Il locale non è grandissimo ed è abbastanza chiassoso, ma è ben arredato e ha un'ottima atmosfera. Abbiamo preso come antipasto una selezione di dim sum (ottimi quelli bianchi e neri ripieni di tiger prawn) mentre come primi un Yakisoba (foto allegata) e dei Singapore style noodles, entrambi eccellenti anche se le porzioni non sono "giganti". Sicuramente ritorneremo!

When I came into the restaurant to order takeaway, there was only 1 table occupied. I order my food for takeaway at 5:30 pm today and the person serving me told me it will take 15 minutes. I left to go to the nearby shop and paid for my food when I came back at 5:39pm. Then people started coming in and three more tables became occupied. My daughter and I watched the them ordering their food while we sat and wait. Then 6:00 pm, I asked the server what happened to my order as most of the people who came in after us have already been served their food. Even my daughter said "why did they have their food already?" By this time the server told me it will take 5 minutes but guess what my food came at 6:20 pm. I asked him what is their system and he just said, there is only one chef and I don't know what is the system but it is not my system. The worst part of it is when we came home, my daughter's food was all mixed up with rice soaking in lemon sauce of the chicken bento. It was terrible. I will never go back to this restaurant again. Just make sure when you eat here to ask how long it will take for your food to be served. I totally agree with some of the comment here about how poor the service it and they do not care at all. Worst experience!

Always busy and for good reason. Meals are high quality but portions are small for the price. Would certainly go back but need to see what else might be better in Hampstead.

The title of this review sums up our experience of Dim T. We were seated in the small but buzzy upstairs restaurant which was brimming with diners. There is a great feel of the place with families as welcome as couples.The service, once seated seemed a bit scattered, in terms of, slow to take orders and often I was left with my head hanging over the back of my chair waiting for some staff to notice me.The food did come quickly, however, make sure you ask for everything when your order is taken otherwise it can take sometime for extras to be order, which, for us, meant we had mostly finished our food by the time that part of our meal arrived.Worth it for some cheap dim sum, but make sure you order at once, be prepared to wait!!

DimT started with such promise and is now just a blight on the landscape of restaurants. Food tastes mass produced and the serving staff are the lowest of the low. Everything about DimT smells of cheapness other than the prices. Seems to me that the owners have let the restaurant chain go and are relying upon lowly paid area managers who are screwing up. The Dim Sum served at this chain simply doesn't compare to other Dim Sum outlets. The ambience is great and I just hope that someone pulls their finger out and starts realizing that it's not too difficult to save the chain.
