RF Patisserie in Bolton

We visited RF bolton on saturday and had the worst experience. The service was horrible and we were made to wait for our food for 1 and a half hours. We ordered the shawarma on chips, chicken burger slides and the bombay sandwich. When it came the shawarma chicken was overcooked and burnt, the bombay sandwich grilled chicken was burnt and rock solid and the cheese on top was also burnt and not chewable at all. The burger slides came wrong so we were waiting for them for an extra 15 mins. Overall bad service and bad food.

staff look miserable as if they under control look as if they are forced to smile other words child labour, food wasn’t even nice very cold and soggy not worth the money not one bit better of going haute dolci. Purely unhygienic. Worst experience never going again! Save your money and go somwhere else trust me

I went to rf because i was really craving matilda cake, whenn i reached their the service ruined my mood of sweeth tooth therefore i had to exit the premises, do not go their too much naakhre

Went to the Wilmslow Road branch with my family. The slider burger buns tasted stale and out of date. The chips even tasted stale and out of date. It was so bad, that we didn’t want to stay for dessert and just leave. I didn’t know you could even get bad chips, but apparently you can. I would avoid. Had a much better experience at the Bolton branch.

Hi I will let the council know about not doing tap water, tap water should be served by law. The restaurant is beautiful the service is slow i visited the Winslow road with my family the food took so long.

The worst experience in a restaurant I have ever had. We were told 40 minutes wait for a table, and after an hour & a half, and asking multiple times how long we were finally given a table after I said we are leaving. The food was ordered well in advance as we knew if getting a table is taking so long (despite there being empty tables and a whole room upstairs with tables) that the food was also take forever. My food arrived and it was mid temperature, I ate my entire meal but I still did not get my mock tail that I had ordered. In fact I could see my mocktail sat and waiting to be delivered, and there was only one staff member serving. After I said take my mocktail off the bill as I don’t want it anymore she then bought it out. We also ordered 2 more dishes and were given the wrong dish. Considering we arrived at 2.15, we got our food at 3.55pm. As a business owner if I knew I had customers waiting, and I had a whole room upstairs free with table space I would give the customers their food there. As a business owner if I know my staff can’t keep up with the service I would hire more staff. We came on a Thursday afternoon, I can’t even fathom what it would be like coming on the weekend. I would need to order my breakfast the night before to get it on time. Overall the worst food experience I have ever had and I will definitely not be returning ever again. If you do visit this establishment, I would order your food a week in advance and eat before you come as it will be time for your next meal before all your food arrives. In fact I wouldn’t even bother coming. I was charged £50 for the bill which I don’t mind paying, but if I knew my service was that bad, the least I would do, would be to comp the bill. Ps still waiting for my ketchup to arrive after I was given my chips 20 minutes ago. AVOID - AVOID - AVOID

We went for afternoon tea with my daughters for a celebration for GCSE results. We had to wait 1 hr for our food, which came in bits and I had to ask for my drinks 3 times. I ordered a tea but didn't have time drink it, we had to pack our food and take it with us because we didn't have time to eat it. I told the waitress the time I needed to leave by, we thought an hour and 45 mins would be enough to have an afternoon tea. The waitress said that there was a big party in, but if she'd explained before we ordered that it would take an hour for our food we would have gone elsewhere. I had to go and ask for my food and get updates 3 times, each time being told it was the next one coming .I would advise people not to go as they obviously do not have enough staff to cope

My family and I came here to celebrate my aunty's birthday. We were all severely disappointed with the quality of the afternoon tea. The silders were dry and bland. The cheesecake tasted like it was partially defrosted from Farmfoods. The samosa chaat did not have a pleasant flavour. The lasagne was NOT a lasagne - where was the pasta? The staff's response: "This is just how it is made." The presentation of the afternoon tea was very lacklustre to say the least. When the best thing about a meal was the fries, something is wrong. The fact that nothing was done or said to improve our experience, was the reason why we will not be returning. No apologies, no compensation (money off our large bill). We had heard good things about this place prior to today. Overall, it was such a shame and my aunty's birthday was ruined.

Visited for birthday afternoon tea, the “patisserie” offered no actual pastries with the 2 afternoon teas. When the afternoon teas came to the table we pointed this out straight away for the staff to rectify the issue, they replied with, “nothing we can do,this is what it is”. Got 2 cream tarts and 2 choc puddings- not very inspired! For the price we were very let down, especially as we were very excited for the birthday afternoon tea and were loyal regular customers Oh well!

Food was decent. Menu was decent. Decor decent. However... worth pointing out the owners of this place also own the dessert bar Cube. It took them about 7 years to have a card machine there. I keep hearing how the owner went to Paris and Middle east for cuisine courses, yet they must have missed any discussions about having a card reader. The young staff members apologised for the lack of a card reader, and advised to walk along the main road. I visited three cash machines and out of principle refused to be charged to take out cash. The staff apologised again saying its something the owner was considering - really?! They've been operational for years now with a huge instagram following and customer base. It's blatant tax dodging, money laundering, call it whatever you like, either way it's scandalous how they do not have a cash machine when a local pop up takeaway van can have a card reader. Same situation happened in Blackburn branch too - no card machine and advised to go off walking for one. Its pathetic how they expect you to go looking for a cash machine in the 21st century. The business is well established now so you can't even claim it's just opened. They're not a small business to feel sorry for and I've not bothered returning until they get a card reader.

I visited today for brunch with my family. Food was really nice and good portion. However really put off by the cash only payment. In 2022 there's really no excuse to not have a card reader, especially if customers pay with Google or Apple pay. Even small business owners use card readers such as Sumup and Zettle, which offer very low transaction rates. THEN my 6 year old son needed the bathroom. The toilet was not clean and had lots of flies around. Really shocking since the place was only open for 20 minutes into the day. Give attention to the basics please.

I visited the bolton branch today with family and this was my third trip. We arrived at 12.40 and were told the wait would be around an hour which we were fine with. We were told to order beforehand as it would make the process easier once seated, so my sister and I went down to order. We enquired about the seating as we were a group of 4 adults and 2 children; one being 3 years old and the other 6. The main girl asked if we would be okay with the table that seats 4 as we had 2 small children and said she would sort that for us soon as it became available. It had been over an hour and my sister went down to ask for an update. The main girl told my sister that the priority for the table for 4 would go to groups of 4 even if they had just walked in despite us being more than happy to sit on that table. She denied even having spoken to us and agreeing to that. Not only this but she was not willing to give us the table that had come available and even suggested to my sister for us to leave if we were not prepared to wait any longer. This really upset my sister as we had all travelled to have some family time together and not knowing the area well. As you can imagine this is such poor service and highly disrespectful for customers that have been patiently waiting for over an hour with 2 young children and a diabetic elderly. At this point I went down to speak to her and she was adamant for the customers that had just walked in to be seated than us. I had to state that if ‘WE’ as the customers did not mind being seated there than what was the issue and only then she agreed. Despite the food being of high quality, I will not be returning as the lack of compassion and service ruined our experience.

Food was great, full of flavour, service is great, the girls were very attentive, very busy cafe and you can guess why. All food 100% halal.

Pretty place. Friendly staff. Had the Peri Chicken lasagna/ fries/ garlic bread. It was delicious, full of flavour. Good size portions. Had a mango & passion fruit smoothie which was also very good. Good value for money & great atmosphere. Thank you will be back when in the area.

Walked in for the first time and floor looked like they’ve never been cleaned. Chairs had food smeared all over. Staff offered to change the chairs but never did. Then the food came and that was it I am never eating there again. Unhygienic, Poor service. And food served on dirty plates. That place should be shut down.

Wasn’t what I expected at all. Very disappointed with the location as we had dressed up thinking it was a bit bigger. Moving on the service was absolutely rubbish. I’ve had better service from my neice in her make belive kitchen. Staff was lazy. Waited 45 minutes for the food was shocked because the cafe was empty aswell, literally not a soul in sight. The upstairs swing was about to fall off which could be a health hazard for anyone so just be aware of this. Don’t visit this place unless you want to do most of the waitering yourself. Never again 👎🏻

I don't normally write reviews but I had a very pleasant lunch this week here and felt compelled to share my experience. Just to set expectations it's not the biggest establishment and is extremely busy and popular so do bear that in mind, you may have to wait a while and may not be seated where you would like. We were obviously fine with this as it was our first time and didn't know what to expect. It does look lovely and very presentable but also the food was delicious and did not disappoint. Service was a bit slower than expected however it was lunchtime and the place was full so understandable. I had the mix and match sliders, my sister had the powerhouse burger and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food. We topped it off with some French toast to share which was ample and some desi chai! Do note that the establishment is cash only. Fortunately I checked in advance.

Had heard alot about this place. It was alot smaller than what I thought it would be. Luckily it was empty so we were seated straight away. We ordered and my friend asked for starters to be served before the mains, we received the wings and was told the samosas are going to take a bit longer as they need to be fried. However the mains (which were also fried) then arrived a couple of minutes later. The samosas came when we were more than halfway through our mains. The samosa dough was raw on the inside so we didn't have them and didn't complain. I noticed a sign that stated we only had 60 minutes to eat. This made me very conscious of the time and I couldn't really sit back and enjoy myself. The place was very cold and we kept our coats on whilst eating. I could tell that no heating was on. We were given 2 tiny takeaway pots-one with ketchup and one with chilli sauce sauce with our starter. When the mains came we asked for more sauces and was given one more pot of mayonnaise despite having 2 main meals. The staff were also trying to save on napkins. We asked about 3 times and each time we were given 1 napkin each which were extremely thin. The food was average at this place nothing special. However the samosas weren't nice at all. Overall the experience was off putting due to the super scrimping with everything and the raw food. I won't be returning again.

Ayesha is the best employee any company could hire and the service is always with a smile and perfect. Ayesha is attentive to costumer needs and ensures the best desserts are always delivered. It is a delight to visit all the time.

Bought 3 mini burgers before they closed and the food was disgusting the lettuce was brown as if had like mould on it see the pictures and decide for your self , I through in the bin everything except for the chips !!! Very disappointed

Visited this cafe today with my friend, greeted by a member of staff & guided to our table. Menus provided at time of seating. However we were then left waiting an awful long time before our order was taken, so long that we were unsure...

Filthy tables and menus, sticky floors and dirty chairs…waited 40 mins for food to arrive only to find a long grey hair casually sat on the Mumbai sandwich and there was hair in the beef sliders…informed the manager who made excuses that these things happen...

Everything we ordered was super delicious from the mocktails, desserts, food and greatly enjoyed. Staff are very welcoming with a smile. As always fantastic customer service from Raeesa, Fatimah and Khadija. Jazakhallah Khairan We will back again for some more.

We visited as a Sunday brunch family treat in Blackburn. Couldn't find the Blackburn on TA to review. Cafe is moderate to small but spacious enough. Service was a tad on the slow side but expected when it's busy I get. Food was good quality...

Visited the Blackburn cafe recently and the service was terrile. We waited at the door for 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us even though they saw us . The staff need to learn how to serve without slamming cutlery on the table and learn etiquettes...

They don’t take bookings here which means you have to wait for a table upstairs - which is far from ideal in the current situation! It is cash only which is incredibly frustrating.... I can’t understand how a business can be cash only in this...

Went for my wife's birthday with my 2 year old daughter. We have the afternoon teas selection and a few other items on the menu was was very impressed. The food was great, tea excellent. Highly recommend the sliders, chichen and the desi tea, they were exceptional.We had to wait upstairs for a table and was great. There's a swing which my daughter loved. We definitely go there again.

I love the vibe in the place and there’s also nice spots to take pictures in whilst you are waiting and the food is amazing and cheap. However the waiting takes a long time which I found irritating.

Never again would I visit this place, told to wait 20 mins for a table which was fine as it was quite busy, 45 mins later the table was still not ready. When the food arrived it was decent although the beef burger we ordered was clearly raw in the middle and not cooked properly so we paid for food we did not eat. I then showed the burger to a staff member and she replied ‘it’s supposed to be like that’ when you can clearly see the raw bit in the middle (picture attached). Service wasn’t great, overall did not enjoy my food at this place and won’t be returning.

Asked for strawberrys and gave me banana, rang to tell them about it and said bring it back and they will add strawberrys, by the time i would of went and come back it would of been stone cold, absolute joke and over priced, not even a pattiserie.

I had the thali for breakfast and it was so delicious it consisted of 2 parathas, spicy potatoes, spicy scrambled eggs, mango pulp and much more. It was served with masala chai too. Its very hard to get this type of breakfast in the south so it was a real treat.I would thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

The staff were so lovely, it’s so refreshing to see a place run by women. Food was amazing, smashed avocado is a must try! The fries were some of the best I’ve had. We ordered desserts - it was hard to choose as all of them looked amazing. I would definitely go again!

We came from a distance to try out RF after seeing the reviews on Instagram. Usually when an eatery is hyped up on Instagram it’s actually not that great but the food was delicious! I can’t fault anything with the food. We ordered the brioche french toast, C &C roll and Eggs Benedict with chicken tenders.The decor was clean and aesthetically pleasing.Prices were reasonable.The staff are lovely and really polite/ quick with their service.My only gripe is that it’s cash only. I had to walk to either farm foods and get cash back from a purchase or take money out from the off license/ newsagents (which cost £1.50)There needs to be a sigh outside the place stating it’s cash only as if I’d known I’d have made sure I was prepared.

Absolutely love the place. It doesn’t get very busy but it’s got a unique vibe with cut decor. The food is decent. I personally loved the sliders (fried chicken are delicious). The desserts and mojito are even better. I love the Apple mojito and the french toast

Such a lovely place to visit, friendly and welcoming staff and the most Cutest insta worthy decor!! But most importantly the food was to die for, everything is hand made and fresh I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Would definitely recommend going.

Would only recommend this place if you have spare time and nothing better to do than wait around in a pretty looking place. The service is awful! Waited over 45 minutes for food! Third time we have tried this place and have had the same issue each time. Won’t be coming back here again!

Went to RF with my family and the food was outstanding. Desserts were delicious. The milk cake was moist and melted in my mouth. This is the place to be!!

Customer service has always been exceptional every time I have been, and the décor is really pretty. The seating area is really cramped and it does feel like you are taking part in other peoples conversations! A dampener has been put on the place as the last 2 times i have visited, I have/a member of my group has found hair in the food. The first time it happened, the plate was removed efficiently and we were offered a dessert on the house. It was mentioned to the owner who said it had never happened before, however while we were eating a lady on the table next to us had also found hair in her food. This happened again the next time I visited, when a friend found hair in her shakshuka. Spoiled the experience for me unfortunately, so will be avoiding from now on. Cash only rule is a nightmare - there are no free cash machines nearby and I rarely carry cash.

Came today with friends from Huddersfield for the special roast, all my friends ordered the roast and it was beautiful. The lamb was cooked perfectly and had a really good kick to it. Service was top notch. Will be back again

Can’t believe the reviews must be fake as we were was waiting a very long time no apology no update no care. When changed to another dish tried charging extra money till I calculated. Lots of egg and bread, and frozen food that you buy and fry or simple warm. Nothing fresh apart from cherry tomatoes. Cheap fries from Asda, the mushroom had no taste of mushroom. The coffee was warmed milk with coco powder. No where near Starbucks more like a diy. Raise the quality of food and service or lower the price to reflect the food quality. Nothing like going for a freshly cooked meal at Lahore’s or Akbar’s.

Visited last week with friends, We came in and was very busy, we had to wait 25mins, which we didn’t mind because if the place is busy then it’s obvious there will be a waiting time, we were told to order before and our food came as soon as we were seated on our table, reading other reviews I can see people have issues with waiting but can I just say it’s worth the wait, and it’s quiet obvious that RF is a very busy cafe for a reason. The food, the service everything was really good. Food is very well presented too.

Beautiful inside and out... the food was so fresh, can tell quality ingredients are used and I love that all women work there, from the interior to the service and food everything was amazing

Amazing! Came down with family, we got a warm welcome when we walked in, was very busy so we had to wait 25mins, which was fine. We placed an order beforehand as we were told to do so and our food arrived within 5mins of us getting the table. The beef sliders, meat and potato pie and shakshuka was my favourite! Definitely worth the hype! Will be coming back for more

Came few days ago, was really busy, came because i heard good reviews from my friends, ordered beef sliders, sharawma amd few other desserts. All i can is everything was bang on! Awesome service and food

Went here from Manchester as a treat for my daughter, had to wait over an hour after being told 45 mins only to wait equally long for our food, which we had to chase sooo many times. Hard to even get a drink. Chicken strips were rock hard, sliders were lukewarm and bread almost stale so dry. Drinks were nice. Dessert average. Definitely not upto the hype. Another food catfish ! The owners need to put service and quality over numbers and turnover.

We went as a family of 4. Good service and good food. We ordered a thali (the thali was very big) and afternoon tea for 2 and there portions sizes are enough for 4 people

Staff were so hospitable, decor beautiful and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend trying this place out! We had brunch and dessert.

So where do I start? The food?the ambiance?the staff? Im going to sound gushy but this was and probably will be very hard to beat best food experience I’ve had. The food...we had a variety from the in-house special chicken sharwama to the sliders, the desi thaal and the shakshuka. All were cooked to perfection, the portions are very generous and the delivery and presentation is spot on. All of this served in an atmosphere that is refined and tasteful. We had several members of staff who served us, Everyone of whom served with a smile and were very friendly and approachable. Of course not forgetting the genius behind this establishment deserves the best accolade. I would return here again and I fact have already planned to go so with the rest of my family. This place is gem, one well worth visiting.

We were in Bolton to sort some paperwork out so decided to try RF Patisserie which has just opened recently (less than a year ) as we walked in we were greeted by two lovely ladies , one happened to be the owner (Raisa) who I mistakenly took for a worker this was due to her being so young . We were given the option to choose where we wanted to sit and menus were brought to our table explaining to us of their special menu board and when we were ready to order just to come to the counter to place our order , they don’t accept card payments only cash. We ordered the mix sliders and the chicken sharwama which was on the special menu board with halloumi and fries for the drinks we decided to try watermelon with Raspberry mojito. Our food was piping hot and tasted awesome we enjoyed all the different sliders , the veg samosa slider being my favourite , the chicken sharwama was delicious and was cooked with perfection with great presentation, the mocktail is one of the best I’ve had for a long time, the place is nice and chic I love the tiles on the floor and wall it gives the place a quaint look. The young owner should be proud of herself she definitely ticked all our boxes the hospitality, food and ambience in this place was just right.

So I decided to visit this place after all the hype on social media and from people. Honestly In my experience it was the worse place I’ve visited for a brunch. Customer service was poor because I’ve asked for napkins the girl just came and stood there, she didn’t even say here is your napkin or I’ve placed it there, while my both hands was dirty she expected me to take it myself. The place is very small and crampy just think of the place as a 3 bedroom house. We got told to wait upstairs as there was a waiting time which is fine but I got told 20-25mims but it was actually 40mins. After reading other reviews it is true that the tables are very small and makes it uncomfortable to eat also the tables are so close to each other, when the workers walk pass they are either touching your elbows or touching the seat but they don’t even say sorry, they just walk pass like it’s a normal thing. BEWARE OF THE BEEF SLIDERS!!! was something else I took a bite and next thing right it smelt like expired meat and over frozen meat that was left in the fridge and it was pink!!! Now I don’t know how other people around me ate that beef sliders cause when i mean it was off, I seriously was off! they got a lot of bad reviews on the beef sliders people complaining, which I should have looked into before visiting this place.When paying the bill I mentioned about the beef sliders quietly to her cause I didn’t want other people to here and put people off their food. The owner was speaking a-bit loud and I think she wanted people to here the standard of food they served and she said apparently they buy fresh meat from the butchers and it gets cooked fresh daily but I told her I’m not making a scene I’m just giving feedback and then she told me I’ll just give you a refund. But she didn’t know that she was talking to the BOSS who worked in a food industry for 11 years so I know how a meat smells or taste when it goes off and it’s certainly not up to food trade standards. I think the local council food agency should take a visit very soon! Stay away if you don’t want FOOD POISON.*raw food *cold food*poor service

I ordered the Shakshuka with the French toast brioche and it was all very goood and super tasty! A total would recommend. Easiest to reach by car but close to public transport facilities. No card payments so bring cash!

I visited RF with my Sister and nieces, what an amazing experience I had. The staff were very welcoming and always smiling. The mocktail was mouth watering that I had to order the cherry and lime again before I left. The service was very fast. I would definitely come back again. Thanks to the manager and staff for the excellent service.

I visited on a Monday afternoon and was asked to wait for a table - for a small business that is busy this is understandable.However, I was then made to wait an hour and did not get a table - there were only 2 of us, and a big group of 8 were served before us at which point we decided to leave.

This place is fantastic, ran by women only which is amazing. Food is outstanding and service is brilliant. Will return with my other friends!

If you havent been to RF then you need to! The service is amazing and also very friendly but the food is always on point every time I attend this place. Will have to keep coming every time I'm up North.

This place looks great and is backed up with good service and nice food. I’d recommend the Mumbai Sandwich. The menu is varied with a good selection of desserts and afternoon tea option to. The only drawbacks are lack of air con and cash only which is a pet hate of mine.

I visited this restaurant with my children and friend during the school holidays as a treat, unfortunately the entire experience was a shambles.Upon arrival we were asked to wait upstairs which was a complete inconvenience as I had to carry a new born in a car seat up a flight of narrow stairs.We were given a waiting time of 20-25mins, in actual fact we were waiting for 45 minutes before being seated.When sent to the waiting area upstairs we were given a menu and asked to place our order to ensure our food was ready when we were seated, unfortunately our food took a further 10mins after we were seated.The restaurant has a specials board placed next to the counter but is hidden behind flowers and the till. We were not told about the specials on ordering and the board wasn't clearly visible to us until after we had been seated which was a real shame because the specials board detailed a kids menu and we had 3 children for who we had ordered from the main menu. When asked if I could change the children's orders as they would have preferred food on the kids menu and the prices were half the cost of the items on the main menu too, I was told it would not be possible as the chef had already began cooking the food. A very very poor example of customer service given that their mistake was to not inform me of the specials board was their mistake!Albeit the chicken tenders were delicious however, the beef sliders were under cooked and I left with 3 children who had not eaten properly.We actually had to take the children to haute dolci for dessert as the experience of our lunch had been ruined by the lack of customer service by management. The attitude of the manager was absolutely disgusting, it is obvious this is a family run establishment which has spent more time concentrating on the decor than on customer service and food. The decor is very nice and picture worthy, it's a shame the food isn't up to scratch and the service is awful. After driving for an hour to visit this place I can safely say it was a wasted afternoon and would definitely not be recommending it.

We have been coming here since they opened around January time. We were impressed then and have been ever since. The service is great, the food is incredible and the staff are so friendly. We bring our baby here sometimes and they always do what they can to ensure we have room for the pushchair if we need it close by, even though it’s not the most spacious of places. We’re always made to feel welcome and comfortable. The food is amazing, particularly the chicken sliders and the Indian Thaal. Some of the food is quite spicy though so if this isn’t for you make sure you enquire before you order. The desserts are melt in your mouth, especially the cakes. It’s slightly annoying they don’t accept card as who has cash on them these days?!! But it’s only a minor inconvenience. So lucky to have this place on our doorstep.

Me and a friend visited RF today and honestly the girls are lovely and friendly, the food was amazing, the dessert was to die for! What else can you ask for? Lovely little set up Will definitely without a doubt return to this place! Xxo

We had a fantastic time for my sisters birthday brunch. The food was lovely esp the cakes and patisseries. The churros were delicious. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. Very child friendly . Kids had a great time loved the food. We will be back!!#/3

We ordered 4 different dishes for 4 of us and every single thing was bursting with flavour and the portions were big enough that we just about managed to finish it all. Would recommend RF if you want good tasty, Indian food with a modern twist

This place makes the best milk cake I have ever had. The craze for milk cake has been crazy, so I have tried many different milk cakes but nothing beats RF patisserie milk cake. I came yesterday on the day they are closed but I got lucky and the owner was inside and got me a milk cake that I was craving!. Quality bakes and outstanding service.

I came last week with my friend and it was very busy so we had to wait, which was fine as everyone knows if a place is busy it has to be good. We waited 25mins but was worth the wait. The food was quality and service was great.

We have been here several times and every time it just surpasses our expectations, the food is outstanding both savoury and sweet. The milk cake is my absolute fave!! Hubby and I go all the time and we always love it!! The service is great and helpful. The decor is brilliant as well. Can’t wait for our next trip!!

This place serves the best cakes I have had in a while. Regularly visit with my wife and the food is some of the best around. Everything cooked fresh and this shows in the quality of the food. The patisseries in the glass counter are some of the best I’ve ever had. Service is excellent and never have to wait too long for a table if it’s busy. Staff are always accommodating. Highly recommend!!!!

These amateurs who run this Patisserie couldnt provide tables we had booked. After waiting for an hour,for a booked table,our patience ran out. We booked a table for a group of us travelling from out of town.As the hour approached we ventured into this wonderful establishment to get seating at the tables booked. As the premises looked busy,we were told there was another half an hour wait. This turned into an hour wait. We waited patiently,respectfully but we were given no tables. Our patience ran out so we visited Tribez down the road. We were so glad that as a result of the most abysmal service at RF patisserie we ended up at this marvellous establishment. DONT waste your time at the RF pretentious, over rated ,totally unreliable establishment. Avoid at all cost. We didnt sample anything on the menu as we didnt get a table which was booked in advance.

We came as a family I think the weekend before Raissa advertised she was travelling to umrah. We ordered the afternoon tea and milk cake.I’ll break it down and try and leave the emotion out of it.AFTERNOON TEA THE SWEET STUFFScones - these were DEFINITELY NOT home made, or made by Raissa’s hand. They were dry, crumbly, and reminiscent of supermarket scones. The e quarter of a doughnut was out of the pack of 10 doughnuts you can buy for a pound from Sainsbury’s. The cheesecake was icy, and granular as if it had just been thawed. The carrot cake moist moist and dense, again definitely NOT home made made. It’s downright rude to lie on your menu and say that your scones are homemade when they are not. It’s one thing to fulfill what you say you will on your menu and it not to be to your customers taste - it’s another altogether to lie on your menu. There will be no blessing in this business while that happens. The milk cake - look on the RF patisserie Instagram page - all of the milk cakes have a pool of tres leches at the bottom - this was a piece of cake serve with cream. It was dry, had no milk absorbed in it at all. See enclosed picturesAt £24 I’m absolutely livid.THE SAVOURY STUFF Burgers - pleasant, quite spicy.Samosa - nice Chicken tenderloins - not freshly fried, had been fried hours earlier to save time and rewarmed. Could have been a lot better. THE DRINKSThe Indian tea was great. Drinks good too. Overall won’t return. My advice: don’t do this Raissa. Pay more attention to detail. Be honest. If you can’t churn out the volume of stuff that you need to to hand make things - just scale it back a bit so you can really focus on the things you do put on your menu. I’ve had your pastry chef creations and they are great.

We went as a group of 5 friends. Tried to book table but were told it's drop in only, waited upstairs to be seated. They have a prayer room which is fantastic. Once we were seated we realised how cramped the place was, no way you could have a private convo here! Food arrived shortly after and it was very nice, cakes were not so impressive. More than the sweets we thought the savouries were tasty. Also they only take cash.

We came from out of town to try this place we had heard so much about, and we were not dissapointed!Fresh, appealing to the eye, tasty and filling food! Including desserts. Customer service is brilliant, the girls who work/run the place are very welcoming and attentive. The decor makes the place stand out, and it's one of few place that I've been to that is so clean!Thanks for the hospitality, and for opening such a lovely place, where we felt comfortable. We will be back very soon to try something else off the menu!!

I love this place, I've been a fan of RF Patisseries since I used to get the regular dessert boxes and I have to say she just gets better. The food at RF is just gorgeous, beautiful to Instagram and delicious to taste. I've tried various items off the menu: the sesame chicken C & C Roll, the mini beef sliders, The chicken Rigatoni , the brioche French toast (to die for) and all her amazing desserts, I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. I tend to go with my family and we literally empty her desserts fridge as I always bring some back with me. I have been many times at different times of the day and the service has always been good, the staff are always polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this place especially if you're eating halal.

Place is too small and the tables are tiny , we got sqashed sat on the table and couldn't eat comfortably .I was told to order and pay at the till, whilst some of the staff went over to certain tables to take the order .Whilst eating people and staff kept walking past and banging into our elbows .Then no one came to ask if everything was ok. Chips were cold and not worth the hype . The cakes was messily sliced and half a donut for tea for 2 .. Not impressed .

A few days ago I visited with a few of my friends and came across some of the worst customer service I have ever come across! We didn’t have to wait long to be seated and had a little wait upstairs in the waiting area which didn’t have enough seating so some of us were standing around. Once we sat down we ordered drinks (apple and raspberry mojito) and mine literally came without ice and all it tasted like was syrup. Eventually I went and asked for ice and then it watered the flavour down a tad bit but sadly it still wasn’t very enjoyable. The worst part was when our mains came. I ordered the beef sliders and to my shock as I bit into it...all I saw was raw, pink meat inside the burger! So I cut into the burger and I could clearly tell that the meat wasn’t fully cooked. I called the waitress over to have a look so she took the food back to the kitchen (with no apologies might I add) then to mine and my friends surprise she came back and put the raw food down in front of me again and started telling me that apparently because the beef is fresh from the butchers that’s why the meat is still a bit pink inside. Still a bit pink inside?? It was RAW!!! After that she just casually walked off. Then I started to make a fuss and take pictures of the food and her manager realised and decided to come over. Yet again she had the same excuse that it wasn’t raw and even if she threw it on the grill again it wouldn’t cook anymore?? Erm I cook at home and know what meat looks like when it is properly cooked and I also know that if I chucked it back on the grill it would get fully cooked! I said to her that I just can’t eat it and it’s put me off my meal and then she was like Do you want me to change it (in a horrible uninviting tone) bearing in mind I had already pre paid for my food. I said no I would rather not. I think I was actually in shock by everything that had happened and the fact that they wanted me to still eat the raw meat and tried to get me to convince myself that it was because it was fresh meat. It was bloody fresh and raw yuck!! I’m not usually the type to write reviews but that was absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. One of my friends sliders were the same too but she managed to just eat around the raw meat but I honestly didn’t want food poisoning! I only called them over to tell them so that they know for next time. I was too put off the eat but wanted them to know as they have opened up new and feedback should be taken positively but instead they felt like they had to defend themselves. I’m sorry but I have had many sliders in London and none of them came out raw like that. They need to work on their customer service and cooking skills and like many have said they are just young girls without any experience or skills. If you guys want raw food and bad customer service feel free to visit! The only nice thing about the place was the decor but there are other places that serve cooked food and are decorated better. My advice to anyone is avoid unless you want food poisoning!!

Visited today after hearing great reviews but didn't even get a chance to taste the food. It was tiny and very crowded. We were placed on a table near the window, in the blazing heat, where it was exceptionally stuffy. Decided to leave as we felt uncomfortable and didn't see ourselves enjoying afternoon tea in this environment.

Poor service and seating , cramped and no one was attentive ...don’t bother ...maybe upstairs can have seating too?

I came here with my friends for food and a chat. Finding this place was easy as it is on a main road and there is space to park on side roads. The staff who served us were so friendly and nice. They made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and when we couldn’t finish everything as there was so much they happily packed it for us to take home. I love the flower wall, it’s very pretty. The desi tea and churros were super nice as well. Food was reasonably priced. If you haven’t been, make sure you go!

After seeing good feedback on Instagram thought we’d come for lunch. Lovely interior, friendly polite staff. The place was busy and we did have a little wait but it is worth it. Our food was tasty, good portion size. Will be back to try other options on your menu soon.

Seen this instagram and and really wanted to try it. It is very small very cramped. It seems like its a house that has just been converted. I went on a sunday afternoon and it was very busy. They told us would be a 20 minute wait and that there is a waiting area upstairs. This again was very small. After 40 minutes or so we did get our table and as we had already pre ordered our food whilst waiting it arrived within 5 mins of being seated. The food did make up for the wait. We got afternoon tea for 2 and we loved it, also got a mumbai sandwich which was so nice and filling and a pancake which my daughter loved. Really did enjoy the food no faults at all. It is a bit expensive but worth it. Only downside is that its just to small and cramped. They defo need bigger premises. Worth the 5 stars im given as food was on point!

Me and my daughter visited RF this afternoon for lunch after having afternoon tea a few weeks ago. Considering how busy it was we were given excellent service by the lovely Khadija. Thank you Khadija for serving us with a lovely smile and asking after us. Its not a very big place but the decor and ambience of the place is instagram worthy.We ordered the mumbai sandwich and french toast with masala tea and chai latte, you will not be dissapointed, good sized portions which we both shared as it was very filling.. left feeling full and satisfied..

Went for Brunch as a family and didn’t really enjoy the food or the experience. Found hair in my drink and also was very over crowded with tables and staff.The staff in the kitchen I noticed don’t cover the hair which personally for me isn’t great hygiene. May be that would be a good starting point to make sure the standard of food is taken out without hair in it.The food was very basic the only nice thing I could really say was the cake was nice apart from that thought it was over hyped and don’t think I will be visiting again.
